Silence reigned the atmosphere of K/DA's penthouse, courtesy of the occupants of the lounge. Riven's eyes flitted between the women sat adjacent and across from her: first Akali sat at the nearest end of the couch with a grim frown, to a teary-eyed Ahri, then to Sivir who had been repeatedly sending confused side-glances for the past ten minutes or so towards Kai'Sa, the sole occupant of the loveseat, who's brow was furrowed with concern.
Her head pounded with pressuring anxiety, her jaw locked tight such was Riven's level of tension. Only the hand interlaced with her own and the warmth of it's lavender-haired owner leaning against her side offered enough comfort to alleviate her stressed mind. Evelynn's head nuzzled into the crook of her neck and Riven could only, stiffly, squeeze her smaller hand in response as she took in the another of many shaky breaths she had heaved during what had been several minutes of telling her friends everything.
They had listened to her with patience and intent, all of them waiting until they were certain Riven had finished. Akali was the first to break their quiet.
"So, what the tabloids are obsessed about." The rapper tentatively waved a hand over her own waist. "It's one of the scars you got in the military?"
"Yeah." Riven nodded simply, taking her hand from Evelynn's grasp to flash the currently exposed scar tissue. "Like this but… worse..?"
"And… what happened at your old job?" Akali grimly recalled. Her lips pursed at Riven's second nod of confirmation.
"Rivey..!" Ahri was far less contained, her eyes glossy and lips quivering as she shot to her feet and made hurried steps to glomp Riven in a massive embrace. "I'm sorry you had to go through all of that alone for so long!" She buried her face into Riven's shoulder. "I'm so sorry..."
"Do you see why it wasn't my place to say, Foxy?" Evelynn asked gently, softly placing a hand on Ahri's back.
K/DA's leader only gave a sad pout, nodding vigorously into Riven's shoulder in response.
"It's alright. I have all you guys no-OW!" Riven reciprocated warmly, only to yelp as Ahri let out a single sorrowful whine, the tightening hug unintentionally forcing the air from Riven's lungs.
From across the lounge, Kai'Sa looked just as eager to match Ahri's actions but seemed to be holding back as to not overcrowd. She instead politely raised a hand to gain her attention.
"May I ask something?" She requested, and continued following a smile and another nod from Riven. "What made you decide to tell us this?"
"I spoke to someone recently who gave me some good advice." She absently itched her cheek as Ahri kneeled back at Kai'Sa's question, giving her a moment to think over her words. "I gave it some serious thought," she leaned into Evelynn, "consulted Evie about it; decided to clear things up before all the ridiculous speculations get out of control." Despite the topic, she found herself shooting all of them a warm smile. "After meeting you guys, meeting Evie, my life has become so much better. This is a big thing for me and I felt it was right to tell you all before anyone else knows. I love you guys."
Another wobbly cry of her name prefaced Ahri latching back onto her. "We wub you tooOoOo~!"
"I'm happy you think so much of us." Kai'Sa responded, managing to control her wavering voice and sharing Riven's smile.
Swallowing her own lump in her throat, Akali glanced over to Sivir, who had remained quiet thus far. "I'm kinda surprised to see you so calm after hearing this from your bestie, Siv."
"Wh- ah, I, er, already knew." Sivir jolted at her name, breaking her gaze away from her girlfriend but her attention still distracted. "I saw Riven naked."
"You WHAT!?" Ahri shrieked in complete surprise, head whipping around fast enough to cause whiplash towards the distant delivery girl who certainly hadn't thought her words through.
An amused eyebrow rose on Evelynn's forehead, while Riven paled, expecting a deathly stare from Kai'Sa at Sivir's poorly chosen statement. Instead though, Kai'Sa barely reacted, merely glancing across to look her girlfriend in the eye.
"You've got a habit of keeping things from me, it seems." She uttered dejectedly, her unreadable face and deadpan tone causing Sivir to stifle.
"That was by accident!" Riven quickly added, though was also taken aback by Kai'Sa's muted reaction. "I was used to living alone and walked out of the bathroom without thinking. It was my bad!"
Her words caused Ahri's shock to settle, and Akali's snort of laughter sounded loudly. "Well that's one way to find out."
Peeling herself out of Ahri's grasp, Riven locked eyes with Sivir and inclined her head in the direction of the kitchen. Sivir hesitated but nodded, and Riven stood, excusing herself with a light peck on Evelynn's lips.
"We'll should leave soon, Honey." Evelynn said softly after their lips parted. "It's getting late."
"I know. Won't be long. Promise." Riven assured her before following after Sivir. They both entered the kitchen, making sure to stand clear of the open countertop, and she shot her friend a concerned look. "Is everything okay?"
"What?" Sivir replied blankly. "Yeah, I'm still fine with you having the place to yourself for the ni-"
"I know you're cool with that!" Riven interrupted, holding a hand up to stop her. "You and Kai'! What's going on? If something's up I don't want to make things-"
"No, no! The plan is still a go! It's just…"Crossing her arms, Sivir propped herself back against a nearby cupboard, adorning a regretful look as she recalled Kai'Sa words. "I, er… The other day… I think I fucked up."
"You're date?"
"Yeah…" With a heavy puff of air, she rubbed the side of her neck. "I think I'm due to tell her some stuff."
Riven raised a curious eyebrow. "'Stuff'?"
"Let me talk to Kai'Sa first." Sivir requested. "I'll tell the rest of you at some point soon. If this goes well anyway…"
"…You're sure you'll be fine here tonight?" Riven checked tentatively.
"A deal's a deal, Riv. My problems won't change what we agreed. If anything, it'll force me to fix this." The Egyptian offered a grin and a reassuring thump to her friend's arm, who winced. "How are you feeling?"
"Guh…" Riven raised a hand to run across her face. She already felt so clammy. "Honestly? Nervous, excited, really nervous, a little sick."
"Eve definitely won't appreciate that last one." Sivir quipped bluntly, earning herself a reciprocal arm punch.
"Ass."
"I'm your best friend. What can I say?" She remarked jokily.
Riven simply rolled her eyes and made to turn and leave, only for Sivir to grab her arm.
"Riv, about the brat…" She hesitated upon seeing Riven's amused features falter and darken. "…How is she?"
"…I don't know. Had no contact." Riven chewed her cheek, and her fists clenched tightly as she averted her eyes, then let out a stressed breath. "Rell's tough, she'll be fine while I fix that whole shit-show. I've spoken to Evie, we'll figure something out."
"Let me know if I can help at all, yeah?" Sivir offered, causing Riven to pause, then wear a curious - yet smug - expression.
"When did you start to like Rell, exactly?" Riven quizzed with a teasing lilt to her voice. "Your first impressions of her were not good."
Sivir stifled, averting her eyes as she rubbed an arm sheepishly. "She grew on me, alright?"
"Well, I'm glad." After an amused scoff, Riven sent her an appreciative smile and turned to head back to the lounge.
Following in kind, Sivir was quick to notice Kai'Sa twisted in her seat to allow the dancer to watch them return, eyes piercing as though she was trying to analyse every minute detail of Sivir's face.
"What were you talking about?" Kai'Sa's question was asked innocently enough, but held a sharpness to her tone.
Sivir's smile wavered at the corners and her eyes flicked over to Riven, who had just courteously helped Evelynn to her feet. She knew that what Riven had planned was something communicated to her in confidence, what with the requirement of her not being around, so for now…
"Nothing important. I can tell you later, though." Looking back down to Kai'Sa reassuringly.
She made to stroke Kai'Sa's shoulder reassuringly, only for K/DA's choreographer to slump back into the loveseat. The movement had her avoid Sivir's touch as she crossed her arms and didn't meet her eye, a despondent visage growing on her features. Sivir's hand retracted and her fingers fidgeted awkwardly into a fist, a mood shared by the onlooking room.
"Well, we're going to head off." Evelynn's declaration aptly broke through the atmosphere, and both her and Riven began to share goodbyes.
Sivir remained stood in her spot by the loveseat while she watched Ahri wrap Riven in yet another too-tight hug, followed by a friendly fist-bump from Akali, the rapper managing to play it cool for barely a moment before also enveloping Riven in her own hug. Kai'Sa stood from her seat to make her way over and share an embrace. From her spot over Kai'Sa's shoulder, Riven sent Sivir a pointed look that clearly read 'fix it', indicating to the dancer in her arms. With a nod of acknowledgement and a half-hearted wave of her own, Sivir watched the pair exit the penthouse.
Almost instantly after the elevator doors slid shut, both Ahri and Akali regarded Kai'Sa with worry.
"Bokkie, is everything okay?" Akali asked. "You're acting weird."
"I'm fine." Kai'Sa responded flatly, leaving her two group-mates to begin ascending the stairs to their rooms. She paused midway, looking back to Sivir. "Can we talk?"
She continued on without waiting for an answer, disappearing down the hallway and leaving the remaining three women in another silence until Ahri spun to shoot Sivir a worried look.
"Has something happened?" She questioned frankly.
Sivir slumped into the loveseat with a sigh, not gracing Ahri with a response straight away. She began to mentally chastise herself. A decision made years ago was finally coming back to bite her in the ass in the worst way she could imagine, just because she was stubborn.
"Sivir. What did you do?"
Apparently her poker face needed work, following Ahri's second question. Her voice was stern and accusing, and rightfully so, even if she didn't know for sure.
"…I'm being stupid." Sivir admitted openly, letting out another heavy breath as she heaved herself to her feet. She headed to follow in Kai'Sa's wake to her room, leaving her troubled friends in the lounge. "See you guys tomorrow. Or, y'know, later. I guess?"
Her bedroom was the nearest to the staircase, but the short distance felt cumbersome under the heavy cloud of guilt that had begun to brew in Sivir's mind. Reaching the door, she noticed it had been left ajar, her compliance obviously being expected, and she tentatively pushed it aside. The room was unlit and dark, the one curtained window not letting through what little light was offered by the evening sky. She instantly locked onto her girlfriend stood by the bed, the dim light of the phone in her grip guiding her eyes.
"Sit down." She spoke sternly, Kai'Sa's arms crossed as though she was trying to appear in command, but the effect was lessened by the more delicate look she had failed to hide on her face.
Sivir did as she was told regardless, approaching the sit on the side of the bed, where Kai'Sa had nodded. Kai'Sa remained standing, looking at her expectantly. A chance for Sivir to say anything herself before she began.
"So," Sivir found herself unable to look her lover in the eye, smacking her lips awkwardly, "I'm guessing you know..?"
At first, Kai'Sa didn't instantly grace her with an answer, instead raising her phone to her face. "'Global Tycoon Shocks By Adopting Heir'." The screen illuminated her, allowing Sivir to see an emboldened fierceness that seemed to settle now that Kai'Sa had started to address the issue. "Yes. I know. From a random twenty year-old news article. Not you."
Sivir could only flinch at the hurt that laced her voice. She opened her mouth to say anything in response but promptly shut it again, unable to find the words. Watching this, Kai'Sa lowered her phone, her ferocity draining as quickly as it had surfaced. She steadily dropped down to kneel before Sivir.
"What happened the other day, the way you were acting… I couldn't just believe it was nothing." Her tone was suddenly much softer and the sudden change caught Sivir off guard. "And I'm sorry for how I've acted today but…" She paused as she reached out to rest a hand on Sivir's denim-covered thigh. "…You need to understand how difficult it is for me to learn about the woman I love from a website rather than her?"
"…I'm sorry." Sivir uttered numbly. Hearing Kai'Sa referring to her in such a way only made her remorse amplify. "You have every right to be upset. Don't apologise."
"It wasn't fair to everyone else." Kai'Sa said ruefully. "I don't want to cause any drama, I just want to know who my girlfriend is."
"This is me." Sivir gestured to herself and the simple thrifty tee and worn jeans she was wearing, the clothes she had brought to wear from the night before - forlorn. "And it's all I want to be."
"But it's not all of you." Kai'Sa pressed. "Tell me, please?"
Despite her mood that came with the topic, Sivir knew Kai'Sa deserved to know why she had lied - or told half-truths as best - about who she was for the past two and a half years. So she placed a hand over Kai'Sa's and squeezed it tenderly, locked their gazes together, and nodded.
"Alright."
For the umpteenth time in the journey to Riven's apartment, Evelynn glanced across to her girlfriend. The rocker had been quiet for most of ride, and the red light the supercar had come to a stop at gave Evelynn the opportunity to properly observe her.
It was clear Riven was deep in thought while she watched the city pass by. Her common and obvious habit of rubbing the scar on her cheek was plenty telling of that. About what though, Evelynn could probably guess. Likely, her decision to clear up all the current drivel being carelessly thrown about. When Riven had come to her the evening prior sounding so assured in her decision, Evelynn could only support her wholeheartedly.
She would be lying if she said Riven's sudden determination and the solution she had returned with hadn't surprised her, though the latest palaver with the orphanage seemed to fuel her drive - that particular issue Evelynn certainly knew of a way she could 'fix'. It made Evelynn wonder.
The light turned green and she turned her attention back to the road.
"You never mentioned who gave you the idea for this, Honey." She pondered aloud.
"Oh, um, Samira." The rocker answered off-handedly, her mind still miles away.
Evelynn's brow raised in surprise. That was certainly a name she knew of, but not for being one to give advice. Despite that, an devilish smile grew as Evelynn's mischievous side couldn't help but identify a chance to tease her faraway girlfriend.
"She seems like a nice woman." She mused following a hum of intrigue, casting her eyes back to for a brief moment.
Riven nodded simply, still staring out of the window. "Really nice, actually…"
"Oh..?" She followed up, her tone purposely inquisitive.
It was duly noticed by Riven, snapping from her distracted stupor completely and turning to Evelynn, hands raised defensively. "No, you see- I meant that as in it was surprising, you kn-" She halted when a passing street light allowed her to see the amused glint in Evelynn's eye and shot her a bemused look. "Ha."
The Diva matched Riven's sarcastic laugh with her own, and hearing it caused what little exasperation Riven felt to quickly melt away. "I know who Samira is, Honey. Remember, we also use that studio." She didn't miss the moment that Riven made the connection that it should have been somewhat obvious that Evelynn knew who Samira was. "We've only spoken a handful of times, but she certainly leaves an impression. It's to see that brash woman offering some decent advice."
"She's definitely something." A more genuine chuckle resonated in Riven's throat, but there was a palpable tension in her voice.
As she pulled into Riven's apartment complex, parking in the space Sivir's scooter would normally reside, Evelynn didn't move to leave the car straight away. Instead she reached across to rest a hand on Riven's leg.
"Are you nervous?" She asked softly. "About taking these pictures?"
"…Maybe a little…" Riven admitted, letting out a burdened breath as hands instinctually covered Evelynn's, fidgeting. She left it at that, not voicing what had been at the forefront of her mind since they had set off.
There was something about Riven's hesitation that clued Evelynn in that there was more to it, but she let it lie. Turning the engine off, she ushered Riven out and followed suit. She rounded the car and took Riven's waiting hand, reaching up with her other to wrap around Riven's strong arm as they made their way to the apartment entrance in a comfortable enough silence. Riven let them in and, while she was instantly occupied with greeting a needy Second, the interaction offered her churning gut a moment of reprieve before she refocused and set off purposefully towards her bathroom.
Having just started to make herself busy retrieving a pair of mugs from one of the cupboards, Evelynn spotted her heading for the hallway and Riven saw the inquiring look sent her way.
"I-I haven't showered yet today." She made the excuse while vaguely gesturing to herself. "I feel a bit… blegh?"
"Oh… sure?"
Riven heard Evelynn respond after a second or two, but by that point she had already disappeared down the hall and entered the bathroom. Reaching over to one of the knobs in the shower cubicle, she brought the spray to life and stepped back to begin to undress, only to jump a mile at a bark behind her. She spun on her heel to lightly glare at Second, the look lessened by the shirt half-pulled over her head.
"Come on, Old man! I've already said hi! I have to shower and stuff!" She ushered him gently back out of the bathroom. "You can have all the attention you want tomorrow, promise!"
Even with her promise, what with him being a dog and not actually capable of understanding her, Second's whines of protest were audible as soon as Riven shut the door after him. Despite how much his noises and the wooden bonks of his prosthetic against the door guilt-tripped her, Riven finished fumbling her clothes off of her body and stepped into the shower.
A heavy breath left her lungs, feeling apprehensive tension inside her slacken as the warm steaming water hit her. Standing beneath the deluge, she allowed it to rain down and soak her through before quickly - and clumsily - washing herself. A hand came to rest on her side and she flinched at her own touch, then balled it into a fist, steeling herself for what she was about to do.
It terrified her. It was going to hurt, it was going to suck, and it was what she both wanted and needed to do.
Outside, Evelynn hadn't moved from the where she had been preparing the tea and was swirling a spoon in 'Diva' branded mug she had added to the apartment's collection many moons ago, staring at a dozing Second. She had listened to the aged dog complain at the closed bathroom door for several minutes until he finally gave up and sulked away to his favourite spot beneath the lounge's coffee table, only to instantly succumb to sleep like the old man he was.
Her thoughts had drifted to the matters Riven had come to her with the previous evening. She couldn't help but feel proud of Riven's decision to deal with the bothersome media attention head on, even though it would most certainly force her way out of her comfort zone. There was a definite degree of selfish disappointment that had settled during the past twenty-four hours; that she had yet to truly see that part of Riven before everyone else would. But such a thought she knew was unfair selfishness and had been quickly relegated to the back of her mind.
And following that had been the, frankly ridiculous, debacle Riven had been confronted with by the orphanage. Aware of Riven's intentions with Rell, it was no shock to Evelynn that Riven regarded this problem with more importance than her own troubles. With how angry and distraught she had been, Evelynn hadn't hesitated with the solution that came to mind, which was were it stayed. She knew, despite everything, Riven wouldn't appro-
A sharp intake of pain passed her lips as she pulled the metal spoon out of the boiling water she had still been distractedly stirring. She dropped it to the counter with a clatter before the heat that had seeped through the conductive metal actually burned her. Nursing her fingertips, she jumped at the sound of the bathroom door clicking shut, not having heard the shower come to a stop.
Straightening her posture, she hurried to regain her composure and shuffled the mugs to the edge of the counter. "Good timing, Honey. The tea's… ready…"
Her voice failed her when Riven reappeared, with nothing but a towel wrapped around her. Her eyes trailed up from Riven's hand that fidgeted with the hem of the towel, along her toned arms, her strong shoulders and up to her face. It was tight with resolution and uncertainty, framed by damp, white locks that hung loose.
"R-Riven..?" She could only utter her name, any composure she had regathered immediately torn away, both this move by Riven and her rugged beauty instantly blindsiding her.
"…" Riven opened her mouth, but it took some visible effort for her to use her words and she acted instead.
Before Evelynn couldn't say anything in return, the towel was pulled away and dropped to the side. It wasn't unlike ripping off a plaster and, judging by the tightness in Riven's face, it felt like such too. Her body was bare, apart from the pair of black underwear she had slipped back on. Her gaze lowered, lingering for a long few seconds on Riven's breasts - smaller than her own and ever so slightly side-set, matching her figure well - before dropping to her torso and, namely, the patch of ill-coloured, mottled skin across her left side, covering a section of her lean stomach.
Under Evelynn's appraisal, Riven seemed to waver. Her hands, held stiffly at her sides, began to move as to shield herself. Realising, without thinking, Evelynn caught one of her wrists, halting it's advance, and she took at cautious step forward. Their eyes met, deep ambers full of uncertainly and worry, and vibrant gold filled with a growing, indescribable cocktail of emotion.
"…Sorry." Riven whispered, barely audible, relaxing her arms. "It's a reflex."
Evelynn moved to take both of Riven's hands in her own, giving both a comforting squeeze, but she couldn't help but drink in the image of Riven she had quietly, selfishly, desired for since before their relationship had even come to be. To her, the blemish that Riven hated so much detracted nothing from just how breathtakingly beautiful Evelynn found her to be.
"…Can you touch it..?"
Evelynn's head snapped up at Riven's hesitant request, incredulity on her face. "But… last time..?"
"Evelynn…" In her free hand, Riven carefully took the hand that held her other wrist without much resistance. "I need you to do this."
She sounded so resolute - so decided - that Evelynn couldn't help but allow Riven to slowly inch her hand towards her torso. Her eyes were glued to the blemished flesh, and she could see the trim muscle beneath twitching as Riven fought against her developed reflex to avoid the touch. It was her fingertips that made contact first, barely a glancing touch already forcing a gasp from Riven's lips.
Immediately, Evelynn tore her eyes up to her girlfriend's face, her brow furrowing upon seeing Riven's eyelids tight shut and her mouth pursued into a thin line. "It's hurting you..?"
Riven stubbornly shook her head in response. "I'm fine."
"You shouldn't force this."
"I'm not. I'm f-fine..!" Her voice wavered, peaking into a sharp gasp.
It did little to convince Evelynn, who could clearly tell how much even a glancing touch effected her. She began to lift her hand away. "Maybe it's best we leave it-"
"No!" Riven blurted out, her grip on Evelynn's wrist tightening. She pulled, forcing Evelynn to completely palm her scar, and held it there, her other hand shooting up to cover the pained yelp that instantly followed.
Evelynn's eyes widened in horror as she witnessed her girlfriend nearly double over, nearly clashing their heads together. She collided with her shoulder and Evelynn couldn't help but wince at the firm impact. It wasn't given a second thought, however, with Evelynn instead supporting Riven's stooped form as best she could with the one arm she had available. Any efforts she made to tear herself out of Riven's grasp were futile, such was the stronger woman's hold.
"Riven, please!" She pleaded, her voice strained with urgency. "This is enough!"
Her words didn't even register. For Riven, it was agony. Memories and the accompanying phantom pain wracked her mind and body equally. It was far worse than she had begun to conceive. The cries of the women that had been around her filled her ears and her skin sizzled and blackened all over again.
Regret welled up and festered within her. She'd tried to force herself past her affliction and that simply wasn't how things such as this were fixed. She knew that this wasn't the way to fix it, but in a idiotic decision of stubborn brutishness she attempted it anyway. And now, she was making a mess of herself in front of-
In a sudden change in action, Evelynn ceased her efforts to stop Riven and instead stepped into her. She didn't even think about Riven's bare body in that moment. With her free arm wrapping around Riven's trembling back, she held herself close. If Riven was adamant in this, she would try her upmost to make it easier to cope.
"Shhh. I'm here, Honey." Her voice was quiet and as gentle as she could presently manage. Her lips peppered soft kisses of comfort along the crook of her neck. "I'm here. You're okay. I love you. You're okay…"
A sob slipped through the hand blocking Riven's mouth, the rest once again muffled. She crumbled, her hand releasing Evelynn's, falling away as all her strength seeping away in an instant. For Evelynn, she held Riven even closer and continued to whisper into her ear, her soft words leaking through the nonexistent yells in Riven's head. They didn't wash them away, or even rise over them - it would be foolish to expect such - but they eased her nonetheless, in a way that was entirely overwhelming emotionally, until they passed on their own accord.
After countless minutes of sorrowfully holding Riven's shaking body and listening to the her cry, Evelynn released her and brought her hands up to cup Riven's tear-streaked cheeks, wiping fresh ones away with her thumbs. It took a moment for Riven to look her in the eye after heaving in wads of air to try and steady herself.
"Are you..?" Evelynn began, but sheepishly halted her words that had an obvious answer.
"…No, but it's okay. But, er..." Riven replied, shaky but honest, then let out what sounded akin to a laugh beneath one final sob. The noise paired with the sudden look of genuine joy confused Evelynn, and Riven noticed. "…I love you too."
Briefly, Evelynn was baffled, her hands leaving Riven's cheeks before she realised what she had said only moments ago. She blinked, dispersing the wetness that had begun to threaten to fall in her own eyes, flustered in a show of uncharacteristic bashfulness. Her pale cheeks gained a faint dusting of crimson as her mouth gaped, words she couldn't find refusing to come out. She hadn't uttered those words in years, and she had just done so without thinking twice - barely even once - about it, almost instinctually.
Riven acted before she could think of anything, taking Evelynn behind her head and pulling her in. The Diva was taken aback further at Riven's initiative, but quickly regained her wits as their lips clashed. Her arms flung up to lock around Riven's neck as she reciprocated, deepening the kiss and lacing her fingers in Riven's damp, ashen locks. She closed her eyes, sinking into Riven's body entirely. It was such a drastic change from what had just occurred that she found herself flooded by a fusion of feelings all contradicting one another: Relief, want, but also a sense of guilt for being the reason Riven had put herself through something so painful. The unexpected development that resulted from it fuelled both of them, and the kiss became more and more heady as the seconds passed.
They finally separated, and Riven rested her forehead against Evelynn's. "I… I wanted you to see before anyone else… Properly." Her eyes opened, and instantly Evelynn found herself becoming lost in the deep amber pools. "I know you've been holding back for my sake, and I really appreciate it. But, now… if you want..?"
Evelynn felt the rapidly swelling lump grow in her throat, barely able to comprehend how, even now, Riven was thinking about her despite what she had just experienced. But despite that, however hesitant she felt, being offered something she had desired for months now…
Her arms released from around Riven's neck so she could hold it tenderly. "…I don't want you to feel obligated…"
"I'm sure." Riven said assuredly, gingerly taking one of Evelynn's hands and guiding it down to cup one of her breasts. The slight touch drew a soft gasp from her lips. "Really sure..!"
Evelynn followed their hands down and drank in Riven's bosom. Even though it was smaller than hers, it was more than enough to fill her hand and delightfully supple compared to the tight muscles she otherwise sported - though pleasing in their own right. She could feel the small nub at it's peak stiffening against her palm and quickly found herself unable to ignore the need that was kindling within. Her eyes flitted back up to see assertion on Riven's face, along with a want of her own within her hazy eyes, and a switch finally flipped inside her.
She bit the side of her lip with her canine and nodded, a hungry smirk creeping across her lips. "…Okay, Honey…"
In an instant, Evelynn adopted her typical confident, sultry demeanour as she drank in Riven's figure once over, then squeezed down on her breast. Revelling at the short, pitched moan that followed, she kept her hand in place and slowly, sensually circled Riven until she was pressed up behind her, full lips grazing her nape.
"I've wanted you for a while now, Honey…"
The proximity and her hot breath against the sensitive area earned another gasp, and Riven found herself unconsciously sinking back into her girlfriend's body. Evelynn's other hand settled atop Riven's hip, soon roaming across the lower portion of her abdominal muscles. It slowly dragged lower, slipping beneath the black, lace hem of Riven's underwear and past a neatly kept patch of ashen hair before cupping her heated core. She revelled at the hitch her touch drew in Riven's breath and she raised her lips to caress Riven's lobe.
"…Do you want me..?" She had barely finished uttering her words when Riven vigorously nodded, but that wasn't enough. "I want to hear you…" Her slender fingers pressed down and began to gyrate firmly and the shaky groan that escaped Riven's lips was delectable. "Say it, Honey…"
"E-Evie, I-ah..!" Riven couldn't focus, the heat rising in her body muddying any cognisant thoughts.
The warmth pooling against her fingers was all Evelynn needed to confirm the same for herself, but she wanted to hear it. She revelled in Riven's noises, decorating her shoulders with lasting kisses. Her fingers moved agonisingly slow as to not make it an impossible task, and eventually, with enough effort…
"…I want you, Evie…"
"There we go…" Evelynn whispered.
She retracted her hand from Riven's underwear, immediately earning a deprived whine Riven was unable to hold back. Taking Riven's scarred hand in hers and turning her around slowly, she adored her lover's flushed complexion before beginning to lead her down the hallway. "Let's take this somewhere more suitable, Honey. I'm starting to feel overdressed… You can help me out of these clothes…"
Completely overwhelmed by Evelynn's ministrations and domineering teasing, Riven could only follow on dumbly.
"…O…Okay…"
Sorry this one took a while, I did have a break like I said. Much needed as I was definitely feeling a tad burnt /
I hope this chapter both makes up for the wait and the lack of Riven/Eve last chapter!br /
I also really hope you think it was okay because I am not familiar with writing that stuff near the end! ^^'
Thanks again, and please review! :)
