I am going to start my first work at fanfiction. It is based on one of the many things I am a big fan of... POKEMON!
I do not own Pokemon. Just trying to write something for fun and entertainment only.
It is probably going to be a long series. So, stay tuned till end.
POKEMON : LET'S GO
Episode 1 : A Pure White Beginning
" Chase, a 10 year old boy, is about to start his journey as a Pokemon Trainer. But, the only problem is that he is still sleeping."
Chase's mother, Luana , calls for him to wake him up while working in the kitchen. Her helps her in her work. She sends Pikachu to wake him up. Pikachu rushes upstairs and enters in Chase's room and gives him a shock. Chase wakes up and remembers the importance of the day. He quickly changes and comes down where his mother is waiting for him. He eats the breakfast in a hurry and rushes out with Pikachu on his head. He reaches Professor Oak's Laboratory and learns that he has gone outside. He is relieved to know that he is on time. There he meets a girl who is also waiting for Professor Oak with her Eevee. She introduces herself as Elaine, another aspiring Pokemon Trainer from Pallet Town. Meanwhile, Professor Oak returns and happily greets the two trainers. He hands over 5 Pokeballs and a Pokedex to each. Then enters another aspiring trainer, Trace. Chase looks annoyed by his presence over there. Trace also receives 5 Pokeballs and a Pokedex from Professor Oak. Professor Oak points out that Trace do not have any Pokemon like Chase and Elaine, so he gets to choose one from three present at the lab for new trainers. Professor Oak picks up three Pokeballs from a nearby table and calls out the three Kanto Starter Pokemon- a Bulbasaur, a Charmander and a Squirtle. Chase is fascinated by the choices. Trace carefully examines the three and opts for Squirtle. Suddenly, Luana and enter and greet everyone, before turning towards Chase to scold him, for he has forgot his bag at home in a hurry. On this, Trace calls him careless like a child and laughs at him. Chase becomes infuriated at this and challenges Trace for a Pokemon battle. Trace accepts the challenge and they move out to the open ground. Professor Oak calls it to be a good practice before the start their journey. Trace sends out his new partner Squirtle and Chase chooses Pikachu. Trace looks into his Pokedex to find that Squirtle knows Withdraw and Bubble. Pikachu begins with Thunderbolt and Squirtle dodges it. Squirtle answers with Bubble. Pikachu uses Quick Attack to dodge and rushes for an attack. Squirtle uses Withdraw to protect itself. Pikachu hits it's hard shell and gets hurt on his head. Squirtle uses Bubble, landing a hit on Pikachu. Pikachu stands up again and goes for Quick Attack. Squirtle again uses Withdraw, but Pikachu switches to Thunderbolt in a close range and lands a critical hit, defeating Squirtle. Chase and Pikachu celebrate their first victory as a Pokemon Trainer, while Trace remarks that he won just due to type-advantage. Elaine and Professor Oak are impressed by Chase's skills. Luana tells Elaine that Chase and Trace are rivals since childhood. Professor Oak tells Trace and Chase about Kanto League, one of the biggest Pokemon Tournaments across the globe. Both the trainers get excited and decide to compete in it. Oak further tells them that they need to defeat eight Pokemon Gyms spread across the Kanto Region and earn their Gym Badges to qualify for the Kanto League. Trace challenges Chase that he can earn eight Badges before him and leaves. Elaine tells Chase that she lives in Viridian City that has a Pokemon Gym in it. She agrees to lead Chase there. The two trainers along with there Pokemon say goodbye to Pallet Town and begin their journey.
