Sandy woke up around the time Shadow entered their hotel room again, sitting up as she yawned.
"Where'd you go?" she asked, rubbing her eyes and looking over Shadow's shoulder.
Randy smiled, moving past Shadow towards his sister as she got out of bed. The pair hugged, Sandy pulling away first.
She cupped Randy's cheek, realizing how sallow it looked.
"We need to get you home," she said after a moment as Shadow cleared his throat.
Randy pulled away, swallowing. "I can't go back home, or else Von Barke will–."
Shadow stepped forward, putting an arm around Randy. "I'll handle Von Barke," he said, looking at Sandy as she frowned.
"Surely not by yerself, I'm going too."
"You can't, we just found your brother…I can't risk losing you either," Shadow admitted, folding his arms over his chest.
Sandy sighed, sitting down on the bed. "How 'bout this? I take Randy home n you go on 'bout yer business," she said, worrying the skirt of her dress.
Shadow nodded, paying for the hotel room they stayed in for the night, making sure the pair of twins got home safely. Now all he had to do was find Von Barke.
