Chapter 8:
"Eliza!' Draco cried out. He lurched to his feet as another female scream echoed the halls. "Hannah?" Ron murmured in shock. Both he and Draco immediately got to their feet as the Headmaster told them to go to the dorms. Draco, Ron, Samuel, and Harry ran towards the bathroom. There was blood everywhere as Eliza was levitated out by Profesor McGonagall. "What are you all doing out?" She demanded when she caught sight of them. Draco boldly pushed ahead. "I heard Eliza and Hannah. Are they okay?" He asked anxiously. Professor McGonagall sighed. "I don't know, honestly. Hopefully but for now, we need to get her to St. Mungos." She told them before rushing out with Eliza, Hannah, Ivy, Luna, and Ginny. The first three being levitated. They all looked bad, but at least Luna and Ginny could walk. The boys fell in step with them as they hurried to the floo. "What happened?" Draco asked. Luna shivered.
~FLASHBACK~
Hannah and Ginny were in the stalls while Eliza chatted to Ivy and Luna about anything and everything. Favorite teachers, classes, Ivy and Luna's relationship, anything, and everything. Then, Hannah walked out of her stall and so did Ginny. The door crashed open and a troll stumbled in. "Well-" Ginny didn't get to say anything more as the club, the troll had been carrying, swished through the air. Ivy and Luna managed to back away in time but Eliza was a second too late and got hit. She screamed as she went flying before lying in a heap next to the wall she had hit. "Eliza!" Ivy yelped, covering her mouth in shock. The troll turned to her and roared. She dodged its first few strikes, but it quickly grabbed her by the foot and roared at her before throwing her into the toilets. The shards hit everyone, causing sharp cuts on all the girls. Luna roared at the troll.
"How dare you!" She dodged the troll before jumping onto its arm and scampering up to its head. It swung its club in confusion, knocking down a wall onto Hannah, who screamed. Ginny dove under a sink as the club missed her by an inch. Ginny pulled out her wand and cast a cutting curse at its arm. Her fear and anger amplified the spell and the spell went straight through its arm, cutting it clean off, and into its chest, killing it. Luna jumped off right before it hit the ground. This was the scene that Miner McGonagall walked into. She gaped before realizing she had five injured students. She quickly cleaned up the shards and banishing the wall off of Hannah. She carefully levitated Ms. Ahava, Ms. Graves, and Ms. Raines out of the bathroom, gesturing to Ginny and Luna to follow her.

Poppy Pomfrey easily healed the cuts on Ginny and Luna before turning her attention to the children in the beds. Hannah had some nasty bruises that were quickly healed with her scrapes and cuts. Eliza had to mend about twenty bones that were broken from being thrown into a wall. Ivy was the worst. She had to mend about nineteen bones but her side had nasty blue and black bruises and she had internal bleeding. Ginny, Luna, and Hannah were out in ten minutes but Ivy and Eliza were stuck in the infirmary for the night.
Luna stayed behind with Ivy, but Ginny, Hannah, and the boys headed to the rest of dinner. After dinner, they grabbed Caroline and explained the situation. "So, I'll meet you tomorrow aft' dinner?" She asked. They confirmed it before heading to bed in low spirits. Luna refused to budge from Ivy's bedside so Pomfrey moved her to a bed next to Ivy's. Ivy and Eliza both could go the next morning and headed to breakfast with Luna. It was a Saturday and they didn't have any classes. Ivy and Luna sat by the lake and drew pictures, Samuel and Harry hung out in the library, Eliza played chess with Draco.
Ron and Hannah quickly made a plan. Hannah grabbed Draco and Eliza and they made their way to Gryffindor dorms. Draco, Eliza, and Hannah headed in with Ron under Harry's invisibility cloak. Dumbledore had returned a couple of nights ago. Hannah went under the invisibility cloak too as Eliza and Draco asked for Prefect Percy Weasley. As soon as he came down, Ron and Hannah made their way up to his dorm. On Percy's bed was a fat, lazy rat. Hannah stunned the rat for good measure and grabbed him. They made their way back down to the Gryffindor common room and watched Draco ask Percy questions about fifth year. They made their escape and ran to McGonagall.
McGonagall opened the door to find four first years in front of it. She raised her eyebrows, "Yes? How may I help you?" She asked. "Professor McGonagall! Percy's rat is an animagus!" Hannah piped up. McGonagall gaped at her, "And how would you know that, Ms. Ahava?" She asked coldly. Three of the firsties exchanged looks, Draco answered for the group, "We can't tell you them, Professor. It's against the laws of nature." That just confused her more but she accepted it. Her Feline sixth sense was telling her that they were telling the truth. "Come in." She opened the door. She hit the rat with a few spells and a red aura glowed around it.
She nodded, "He's an animagus." She opened an urn and tossed some floo powder into the fireplace. 'Head of Ravenclaw's office." She said. Filius answered, 'Yes, Minerva?" He asked. 'I have an animagus in here as the form of Prefect Weasley's pet rat." She told him. He stepped out of the fireplace into her office and noted the four first years. The two professors cast the animagus reversal spell and a balding, middle-aged man was in his place. "Peter Pettigrew?" Minerva gasped. Peter pulled out a wand and turned it on the children before Filius stunned him and tied him up with thin, self-tightening ropes. They could clearly see the Dark Mark on his left arm, "Peter was a Death Eater?" Minerva gasped again. She quickly called for a house-elf, "Kitty!" A small, red-headed elf was blue eyes appeared. "Yes? Mistress call- Bad Wizard!" Kitty squeaked as soon as she saw the Dark Mark and scampered behind Minerva's legs.
"It's okay, Kitty. I need you to inform the Headmaster to get here right now." Kitty nodded and popped out. Kitty reappeared a minute later with the Headmaster. Then she left. The Headmaster stared in shock at Peter Pettigrew. "Headmaster? Doesn't this prove that Sirius Black didn't commit at least one or two of the crimes he was sentenced for?" Hannah asked. Minerva answered, "Did he ever even have a trial?" She wondered. Albus shook his head, "I thought that Barty Crouch had it in hand, I was busy with placements and the Order." He said with wide eyes. They informed the ministry immediately and got a response before dinner.
They dismissed the children after they did, Sirius Black's trial would be Tuesday. Hannah, Ron, and Draco pretty much all but skipped to the Great Hall while Eliza followed. Dinner was eventful, Hufflepuff won fifty points for each of the children who helped catch a Death Eater. 200 points to Hufflepuff. The Table went mad with cheering, they were now first place by over a hundred points. And Dumbledore made another announcement, "Because Gryffindor has no seeker since Charlie Weasley left, I'm opening Quidditch trials to the First Years. But, since they need their flying lesson, It will be scheduled for tomorrow, Monday." More cheering followed his announcement. Ivy, Harry, Draco, and Ron excitedly discussed the new arrangement.
They knew that no one would be able to replace Cedric Diggory, he was too good for a first-year, even Harry, to replace him. But the Chasers and Seeker were fair game. None of the firsties at the table were good enough, they thought, for the Beaters, however. They went to bed excited for the next day. The day seemed to drag by before their flying lesson. Hufflepuff was with Ravenclaw. Ivy, Eliza, and Samuel were fairly good, but Harry, Ron, Draco, and, surprisingly, Luna and Hannah were great at it. Sue looked anxious, while Han looked like she was going to faint. Justin Flinch-Fletchley looked like he just wanted his feet back on the ground, immediately.
Later that day, before dinner, they had the trials for the Hufflepuff team. Cedric kept Keeper, to no one's surprise, and Harry got seeker, to no firsty's surprise. The real surprise was when Ron, Draco, and Eliza got Chaser, while Hannah and Luna got Beater. A team made up of almost entirely first-years beside the one third-year captain. The Hufflepuff team members weren't very athletic or skilled at Quitditch, so the firsties easily beat them. They, however, didn't know how the first Quiditch match would go against Ravenclaw, scheduled for a little over a month from then.
That night, after dinner, they met in the library. Hannah, Ron, Harry, Samuel, Ivy, Draco, and Luna were all there. A minute later, Eliza arrived. And a couple more, Caroline arrived, pulling a boy behind her. He was at least a year ahead of them. He had dark, brown mocha colored hair that went down long to his shoulders. He had a nice tan and bright. Sea-green eyes, more blue and bright then Harry's emerald eyes. "'S name 's Joseph." Caroline introduced the boy. He smiled sweetly, he looked more elf, though. He had ears that were pointed and pinned back with a diamond stud in the left one, his nose was beaked, his eyebrows arched elegantly, and he looked more beautiful then handsome. "Hello. My name is Joseph Valentine. I'm a third year." His voice rumbled deeply but warm and sweet.
"What are you doing here?" Hannah asked curiously. Caroline stepped forth, "He's my brother." As she said that her voice became light, warm, and sweet. She became taller, thinner, and her curves turned more pronounced. Her limbs turned long like Jospeh's but she was a little taller then him. Her hair turned blacker, almost purple now, spiriling down her back in long curls. Her eyes grew wider and turned a bright, electric blue. Her face grew into a heart-shape and paler. Her freckles disappeared, her nose became beaked, and her ears pointed back like Joseph's. A diamond stud appeared in her left ear.
"My real name is Evelyn Valentine. But call me Eve." She held up a hand. "You must have a lot of questions, but you'll have to wait until later." She told them. "I'm an undercover auror and a metamorphmagus." Luna raised a hand. "What's a metamorphmagus?" She asked. Eve smiled. "I can change my appearance by will." She explained, "This is my normal form, the one I was born with. I and my brother, Joseph, have very, very rare abilities. I can hear bond speak, but not who's you're speaking to. Joseph can-" Joseph smiled, "I can speak for myself. I see bonds inbetween people." Eve stuck her tongue out at him.
"I still want to talk to you guys to explain some stuff." She said. "Such as, your bonds haven't fully formed." Joseph said quietly. "Why?" The firsties asked in confusion. Evelyn turned bright red. "We'll tell you later." She coughed. "But until your bonds are fully formed, Mr. Potter, Mr. Di Angeo, Ms. Graves, Ms. Lovegood, Ms. Ahava, and Mr. Malfoy can't claim their Lordship or Ladyship." She turned to Ron, "Sadly, you can't claim your lordship because you aren't the oldest or an only child." He shrugged, "Don't care. That family disowned me a long time ago, I want nothing to do with them." He told Eve.
"Anyway," She said awkwardly. "You guys could have a lot of power as Lords and Ladies and protection," Evelyn said. "How do we finish forming the bond?" Luna asked, curiously. Eve coughed, hiding her furious bright-red blush. She whispered it in Luna's ear and Luna turned the same color. Ivy turned bright-red as well. "What?!" Ivy yelped, turning even redder. "What?" Harry and Ron asked curiously. Luna whispered it in their ears and soon everyone was bright-red, except for Draco and Eliza. "What?" Draco asked curiously. Soon everyone but Eliza was bright-red. "What?" Eliza asked. Luna told her, "They have to have-" Ivy interrupted her, "No, just no."
