There was a park across from my house, so I walked there with Phoenix Wright. "So, you never learnt to drive?"

"Had no time," he answered.

Phoenix was the third to appear to the general public. In my mind's eye, he was handsome, but seeing him with my physical eyes was an even major treat. His skin was tan, and his hair was down – an ordinary short haircut with a fringe, as it turned out. On his off days, he still dressed for work, only without the blazer. Whenever I looked at him, my eyes would wander to his biceps.

If anything, the later instalments of Ace Attorney portrayed his face better. But, back to the story.

"I can only dream of it," he laughed. And dream of owning Edgeworth's car, he added through telepathy. He was a man of few spoken words, and very much the thinker, like myself.

"Does it run after 26 million years?" I asked.

Phoenix shrugged. "Haven't seen it since I heard Cord."

Cord was his favourite band of all time. They weren't from this Earth, but from one that existed long ago. Turned out, they were recording new music when all of a sudden, the world ended. The song's soul continued here, where no one but I could find it.

"Are we gonna talk to trees again?" he asked, as we waited at the crossing.

"I'll say hi to them, at least," I said. "Why do you think I pass under them with my hand out?"

He rolled his eyes, but with a smile. See, we and other gods had already met before they could be seen by all humans. We had a special place in our hearts for each other, and it never left us.

"Should we stalk the library or something later?" I asked.

"The library?" He scoffed. "What would you want with a library?"

"Books! Book-book-book," I joked. "Seriously, I haven't been to one for like, two years. Or longer."

We made it to the park, and I greeted all the trees as we occupied the swings.

"What about that games store we used to stop at?" Phoenix asked.

"Well, it's only ten minutes away. But I don't have cards with me," I warned.

"I brought both mine," he assured.

When we met, I was learning tarot and palmistry. Now, he had his own two decks to learn, and I mentored him every now and then.

"We could do a DnD campaign?" I suggested.

"Are you going to teach me that now?" He hummed deeply.

"I never got a complete structure of tarot campaigns. So, we'd learn together." I quieted into thought. "Which one do you want to use for it?"

"The Rider-Waite," he answered after a few seconds.

"That means I take the Vikings. Woohoo! I'm a viking!"

Greetings! Homerpants here.

I was going to show Phoenix and the main character playing a tarot campaign, but to tell you the truth, I've never played DnD with tarot before! Perhaps I'll add that to the story later, when I'm more confident in it and have finally played a campaign.

I also have many other characters to add. If you would like to see one posted here, let me know! Mind you, I can't vouch for all of them, such as Ed, Edd n Eddy or unfortunately, The Simpsons. And there are those I'm mostly unfamiliar with, so I will either do my best with them, or I will skip them altogether.

But thanks for reading! Watch this space for more chapters.
