Here it is chapter 4, sorry its been so long since I posted chapter 3 I'll try to keep a better posting schedule lol and with that said, Enjoy!
Perry sat there for quite some time staring into the darkness, he tried his best to keep himself calm but it was hard, he felt trapped, like he was under water unable to breath or move or even think. Perry tried to slow his breathing silently, cursing himself for getting so overwhelmed pull yourself together you stuped platypus, nothings even happening don't be such a baby!
Perry after some time of trying and failing to get to sleep decided to just get out of bed and maybe get some water or something. He cautiously got out of bed and as quietly as he could made his way to the door and opened it using his good headed out into the hallway closing the door behind him. He then silently made his way to the first floor to get a drink.
After he got a drink he went into the living room and hopped up on the couch, wincing slightly when the sudden movement jostled his injured arm. He sighed, he had never had this much trouble sleeping before, What's wrong with me? He didn't understand it, why had everything become so hard all of a sudden?
He knew that he should tell someone what was going on, or at least go to get his arm checked out by one of the O.W.C.A doctors but he just couldn't, he thought that he would have been able to work up enough courage to at least tell Monogram, he'd known him his whole life, but he just couldn't do it and he made the decision right then and there he wasn't going to tell anyone, not even Monogram. He was going to keep this to himself and besides everything would go back to normal if he just acted normal. Right?
Perry lay down on the couch and looked at his watch, 2:30. He decided that he'd sleep on the couch that night, maybe he'd be able to fall asleep if he wasn't worried about waking his owners. Perry got very little sleep that night, only managing to fall into a deep sleep about an hour before everyone else woke up. Perry awoke and slowly opened his eyes. He expected to find himself on his owner's bed but instead found himself on the couch in the living room. He looked around, still half asleep, why was he downstairs and what had woken him up, as if to answer his question a loud banging sound came from the kitchen, Linda was doing the dishes.
Perry groaned and closed his eyes again, curling up into a ball on the couch and covering his ears with his paws. He tried to ignore the noise and almost fell back asleep when Phineas and Ferb entered the room and he forced himself to wake up and greet them. "Goodmorning Perry" said Phineas giving him a pat on the head before going outside, Ferb gave him a pat on the head as well before following Phineas outside.
After they left, Perry was alone again and he was able to drop his guard. He sighed slouching back against the couch. He wanted to curl up into a little ball and cry but he stopped himself, he wasn't a platypup, he was an agent and not just any agent he was O.W.C.A.s best! That kind of behavior was not acceptable, it was bad enough that he was feeling this way in the first place!
Perry growled angrily at himself, forcing the thoughts out of his mind and getting off the couch to go eat breakfast. He wasn't hungry but forced himself to eat some anyways, he ate a little under half of his food before he was done. After he finished he headed upstairs and went to check himself in the mirror, he was somewhat surprised to find that he didn't look too bad, a little tired maybe but all in all better than he was expecting. he was also glad to find that his arm was feeling better it still hurt but not nearly as much as it had the day before.
Perry was about to head into the bedroom and hopefully get some more sleep when his spy watch went off he growled in annoyance and quickly made his way over to the nearest entrance, he pressed a secret panel in the wall and a small opening appeared with an elevator he was about to step in but he hesitated taking a deep breath, he put on his hat and the best smile he could manage and stepped into the elevator shaft.
