Felix's POV
When I was done washing my body and hair I just sat in the shower until it ran cold, staring at the beads of water running down my legs. I was only snapped back into reality when Charlie popped his head into the door. "Hey kiddo, you okay? You've been in there for a while." "Yeah, dad. I was just thinking, I'm getting out now I'm sorry." Charlie closed the door and I turned the water off, I continued to sit in the tub before I finally let out a sigh and got out. I wiped a small circle of fog off the mirror and brushed my teeth, staring into my own green eyes as I did. I got dressed into boxers and pajama pants, putting my slippers on and going back to my room. My eyes stopped on the Macy's bag placed perfectly in the middle of my bed. I opened the bag, pulling out the big black box, the Harley Davidson logo printed on the top of the box. "He's like a sugar daddy without the sugar." I mumbled to myself as I pulled out the sweaters I had also been looking at, the belt bought at the secondhand shop and then finally the pair of True Religion jeans I had put back as well. I put the clothes away, knowing it'd be pointless to argue with Leon about buying me things. "I'll just have to tell him to chill out in the future. It feels like he's trying to buy me."
The next couple days went by without incident, however Leon was… Ignoring me? No, that's not the word. He was keeping his distance, he still sat next to me in class and stared at me during lunch but he would avoid me in between classes, moving away too quickly for me to talk to him. I found out Bella wasn't having the best week, either. Three people had asked her to the dance, including Tyler who wouldn't leave her alone. I was going to have to do something about that.
The day started out fine, Leon avoided me in government, I stayed under the radar from questions in english and during gym I made a couple points in basketball. Lunch came around and Tyler came up to our table to bother Bella again. My fists clenched, my nails digging into my palms. "Can you just leave her alone? She said she doesn't want to go with you." "Excuse me?" Tyler turned towards me, looking down at me in my seat. "I said why don't you just leave her alone. She's told you multiple times she doesn't want to go to prom with you." "Maybe you should mind your own fucking business you fag." I stood up from my seat and got in his face. "What the fuck did you just say to me?" Tyler grinned and put his index finger on my chest. "Do you need me to spell it out for you? F A G G-" I don't remember what happened next, the only thing I remember is Leon pulling me off of Tyler, he was laying on the ground with a bloody nose and a busted lip. Leon whispered in my ear as he pulled me off, his arm around my waist and his free hand on my arm. "Don't worry, I let you get a couple shots in." "Now you're talking to me?" The entirety of students having lunch had swarmed us like a pack of dogs, a teacher rushed through and told me to go to the principals office and told someone to get Tyler to the nurse.
I sat in the front office, twiddling my thumbs in my lap until Charlie walked through the door. He frowned at me and I stood up. "Sorry, dad…" The principal called both of us to his office. "Alright, tell me what happened. I can't imagine a son of Charlie's would just hit someone for no reason." I didn't speak for a minute, wondering if I should tell the whole truth or not. "He wouldn't leave Bella alone about the dance and I told him he needed to leave her alone. He got angry and we fought." The principal sighed and nodded. "Well. Everyone says you threw the first punch so unfortunately I'm going to have to suspend you for two days. In these two days you can't come onto school grounds at all." The principal dismissed us and Charlie drove me home in the cruiser. "What really happened, Felix?" I didn't reply, instead I looked out the window to distract myself. "Felix, what happened?" He was more stern this time and I looked over at him. "When I told him to leave her alone he called me a faggot. I got up and asked what he called me and he asked if he needed to spell it out. He started to spell it out and was poking my chest. I ju-" The cruiser stopped in the middle of the road, the tired screeching. "He called you what?" Charlie turned the cruiser around, going down roads I didn't recognize until we pulled into a house in a random neighborhood, that's when I saw Tyler's SUV. "Get out." Charlie got out of his cruiser and I followed him up to the door. He banged on the door with his fist, a woman with curly hair opened the door. "Chief Swan? Is this about the fight?" "Yes, I believe your son owes mine an apology." "Excuse me? Your son is the one who hit my boy." "He called my boy a slur." I looked down at the ground, embarrassed, why was he going this far? "Tell her, Felix, tell her what happened." I looked the woman in her eyes, her arms were crossed and she was leaning on the doorway. "He um.. He wouldn't leave Bella alone about the dance even though she told him no multiple times so I told him to leave her alone… And he called me a faggot… Twice." The woman didn't respond for a moment, though she uncrossed her arms and took a deep breath. "Tyler!" She yelled inside the house and he came around the corner. "Yes, ma'am?" "You need to apologize. Now." "He's the one who beat me up what do you mean?" "You torment Bella after she said no and then you call her brother a slur for standing up for her? Boy what the hell is wrong with you?" "Mom…" He said with guilt, pleading. "I was already beat up, don't make me apologize too." "I don't give a damn about your ego, apologize." Tyler walked up to the doorway, looking at the ground and mumbling an apology. "Look at him and speak up." He sighed and looked at me in the eyes. "Felix, I'm sorry for calling you that name." I just nodded at him and turned back around to go the car, Charlie followed and then we went home.
"Hey kiddo." I stopped at the bottom of the stairs, turning to Charlie. "Yeah?" There was an odd silence between us before Charlie spoke again. "Er… You know… If you are… You know, gay. I don't care, okay? I accept you no matter what." I stood there speechless for a minute before I nodded and walked up the stairs and to my room. I sat in my papasan chair and pulled my boots off, throwing them across the room. I curled up into myself and pulled a blanket over me, I could feel my face getting hot and my eyes welling up with tears. I cried myself into a nap. I woke up to a knock on my door. "Come in." I mumbled, sitting up in the chair. "Are you okay?" Bella asked, sitting on the edge of my bed. "Yeah, I'm fine." "I'm sorry that happened... If it makes you feel better I almost fainted during biology. We had to prick our fingers." I faked a laugh and shook my head. "You've always hated blood." Bella nodded and scanned my room with her eyes. "You're still going to La Push with me tomorrow, right?" "Yeah, why wouldn't I?" "Just making sure." She said as she left the room and closed the door behind her.
I checked my phone, seeing that Leon had texted me several times. I looked at my phone screen for what seemed like forever before I finally clicked on his name and called him. "Hello?" "Hey… What're you doing?" "I was about to eat." "Oh, I'm sorry." "Don't be. What'd you call for?" "I was wondering if you wanted to come to La Push with us tomorrow." "Ah, yeah. Edward was talking about that, sure I'll go. I'll pick you guys up." "Okay, we're meeting up with Mike at his family's store." "Sounds good." The line was silent for a minute, then Leon spoke up. "What're you doing tonight?" "Nothing right now, why?" "Do you want to hang out?"
"Yeah, you can come over here if you want." "I'll be over soon." The line cut out before I could reply, setting the phone down and inhaling deeply.
It didn't take long before Leon walked through my bedroom door, Bella must have let him in. He held tupperware in his hands, he raised it up and smiled. "I hope you like lasagna." I nodded and took one of the containers from his hands. He grabbed my bean bag chair out of the corner and placed it in front of my chair. He sat in it and opened his container and handed me a fork. "Are we supposed to be eating in your room?" "I don't know, actually." Leon smiled with teeth for the first time around me and I squinted a bit. "You have really cool teeth." He stiffened and the impending sense of doom quickly came flooding back. "You think they're cool?" I shifted in my seat, a bit uncomfortable at the coldness in his voice. "Um, yeah.. It looks like you have fangs. Like a vampire or demon or something." He set his container down and leaned forward, then he pulled the corner of his mouth back. All of his molars were pointed and had two vampire like fangs on either side of his two front teeth. I held my breath, staring at the teeth that looked like they were made to rip flesh apart and crunch through bones. "You think that's cool?" He said as he let go of his mouth. "Yeah… It's unique." "You don't think it's scary." "Not really…" I lied, my hair was standing on end and I had goosebumps. He moved his hand up to my cheek and then down to my chin, leaning over me. He tilted my head up so I was looking into his eyes, they were bright red. Fear jolted down my back, I stiffened and felt like I couldn't move a muscle. "You don't think… I'm scary?" He grinned sadistically as he gripped my face, forcing me to continue to look at him. "No… I don't." My heart pounded in my chest so heavy I could feel it in my ears. "You're a horrible liar." He said with a growl, his free hand moved under my shirt and gripped my stomach hard, that was going to leave a bruise. He lightened his grip and moved his thumb back and forth across my stomach. "Felix… You need to be more careful." He moved his lips besides my ear. "I don't want to hurt you." My face was hot and my stomach was in knots, Leon's chest pressed up against me and I almost gasped. "I don't want to be careful." Leon growled and used one arm to scoop me against his body, then he picked me up and tossed me onto the bed as if I weighed nothing. I stared at the ceiling in shock as I heard him take his shoes off and then watched him crawl on top of me. He stared into my eyes as he began to fiddle with the buttons on my jeans, his eyes had darkened to a crimson color, almost as if they were the color of blood. His hands shook, fiddling with the button before he finally just grabbed the waistband and tore my jeans in half with no effort. I whimpered a bit as he pulled my waist up, pressing against his leg. He moved his leg up and down against my crotch and I gasped out. "Wait, Leon." "I thought you didn't want to be careful." He pulled the jeans off my legs and threw them onto the floor, when he turned back around and grinned at me I realized the four front fangs in his mouth had grown in size. "Leon…" He stood up off the bed and took off his own jeans, his erection didn't shy away. He took his shirt off, exposing the stacked muscles that had previously strained against the fabric. In the middle of his chest, right over where his heart would be there was scarification of an ancient greek word, μαμωνᾶς. The raised skin was white and had a slight hue to it. He crawled back on top of me and held me down by the chest, his other hand keeping him steady on the bed. He leaned down and pressed his lips against my neck, opening his mouth and barely biting on my neck. I felt the tip of his fangs slightly press into my neck and I froze. "Leon..." He ignored me, moving his hand that held me down further down my body, pulling at the waistband of my boxers. His teeth pressed down harder and I could feel my skin slightly tear. "Leon… Leon you're scaring me." He quickly got off and began to take deep breaths, his fangs retracing into his gums back to their normal size.
Leon's POV
I gently glided my index finger over Felix's face before moving down and tilting his chin up to move his eyes into my gaze. I watched him stiffen up as he looked into my eyes and I felt the fear radiating off of him, I thrived on that feeling. Felix tried to look away so I grabbed his cheeks and forced him to look at me. "You don't think… I'm scary?" I could hear his heart beat faster, it rang in my ears like a sweet melody played just for me. He told me no and I could feel my heart start to race and goosebumps raise on my arms in excitement. "You… You are such a horrible liar." I whispered as I gripped his stomach in my hand, pressing my thumb into his stomach and the rest of my fingers into his back. He winced a bit and I loosened my grip, moving my thumb back and forth. "Felix… You need to be more careful." I leaned my head in, stopping next to his ear. "I don't want to hurt you." "I don't want to be careful." I growled at him and lost my calm, tossing him onto the bed and ripping my shoes off. Take it easy, Leon. He's still a human. My hands shook with anxiety, knowing I couldn't lose it any more than I already had. I crawled on top of him and fiddled with his jeans, I got frustrated at all the buttons and just grabbed each side with my hand and tore the jeans open, I could buy him another pair later. I pulled his waist up and slowly grinded my leg against his erection through his boxers. I turned to throw his jeans off the bed and winced at the feeling of my fangs grow a bit. Stay calm, stay calm. I ignored Felix calling my name and got off the bed, pulling my jeans off and then my shirt. I crawled back on top of him and pressed my palm onto his chest, kissing his neck and pressing my bare teeth against his neck. He smells like nothing, calm down, he won't taste good. I moved my hand down to his waistband and began to slowly pull it down and pressed my teeth slightly into his neck, barely piercing the skin.
I tasted a bit of his blood before Felix said I was scaring him. I got up and licked my teeth, they retracted as I slowly calmed down. I was right, his blood didn't taste good. It tasted like nothing. "I'm sorry, Felix… I got a bit excited." I looked back at him and smiled, my eyes had turned back to their normal brown now that I was calm. I stood up and began to put my jeans back on when Felix handed me a pair of basketball shorts. "Jeans aren't comfortable on the bed." He whispered to me and I nodded, putting them on and slipping into the bed next to him.
"So… What are you?" I stared at the ceiling, debating on telling him the truth. "What do you think I am?" "A vampire." "Well, you're wrong." "Then what are you?" "A demon." "Are the rest of the Cullens demons too?" I tensed up a bit and sighed. "No, but I cannot tell you what they are. That's up to them." "Who summoned you for you to be up here?" I laughed at the question. "Actually, it was me who summoned it… And it turned me." "Why did it turn you? And how?" "I technically asked it to. I sold my soul for money and immortality… I summoned Mammon, the demon of greed, of course I didn't think it was going to work… But when it did I set my conditions and he accepted. He branded me with his name…" I pointed to the brand on my chest. "And then we both cut our palms and apparently when demon blood mixes with human blood it activates a change." "Can you change people?" "Any demon can… But I can't grant wishes for mortals, only certain demons can do that, the kind that eat souls." "What kind of demon are you?" "I'm not sure. Probably just a normal one, I haven't actually met any others other than the one I summoned. I can feed off fear, blood, flesh, and human food as well." "If you only asked for money and immortality why can you do other things?" "I don't know the answer to that, sorry." Felix frowned at my lack of information. "I'm gonna go put the lasagna in the fridge." I put my shirt back on and grabbed the containers, putting them in the refrigerator and walking back up the stairs. I slowly slid back into the bed, keeping my distance from Felix. Felix slowly moved his hand into mine and I pulled him close to me. I put my arm around him as he nestled his face into the crook of my neck. I scanned around his room and looked out the window, there was Edward looking into the window to make sure I hadn't killed Felix. I raised my free arm and pointed my middle finger at him. Fuck you, Ed boy. Edward grimaced and left the window, and I knew he was on his way to go watch Bella sleep. I looked down at Felix, he had already fallen asleep. "Goodnight my songbird."
