Chapter 14: Retaliation: Medabots vs Kilobots
Hello everyone, I know I haven't updated in a while but that's because real life kept coming to knock the creativity out of my head with a baseball bat. Anyway as always I hope you guys enjoy reading this latest chapter and again I don't own anything other than my own characters. With that said let's get to it.
(City area)
Over the next two days Metabee and the others prepared for the upcoming battle against Cosmicon. Meanwhile his generals were already hard at work building up their army. Utilizing hit and run tactics they struck every warehouse and store that had Kilobots and took every last one they could find. While also getting their hands on all matters of computer tech. And tonight is no different.
On this night the target was a large computer company that supplied half the country. The prize was a new type of computer circuit board guaranteed to hasten the speed and performance of any computer system. For a while everything ran like clockwork, that is until police sirens could be heard rounding the corner down the street. One goon looked over. "Oh great we've got company." Sea Slug glanced over at him. "Don't worry about it, just keep loading up the truck." "But what about the cops?" "The boss will handle the cops." As the police cars got closer a large dark orange hercules beetle flew over and charged its front cannon firing at the first car.
The car exploded on contact. The other swerved to get out of the way only to crash into a street light. The hercules beetle transformed into Cosmicon and landed on the ground. He looked at the other car seeing the occupants still alive. One of the cops got out of the car drawing his weapon and aiming it at Cosmicon. The other officer reached for the radio and spoke into it. "MAYDAY MAYDAY THIS IS UNIT J-74 REQUESTING IMMEDIATE BACK UP!" As he spoke his partner began shooting at Cosmicon only for the bullets to bounce off his armor. Despite this he kept shooting until the gun ran out of bullets. Cosmicon raised his left arm, his minigun barrel beginning to spin. Before the cop could blink Cosmicon opened fire, riddling him with holes. As he fell Cosmicon moved his weapon to spread all over the car effectively killing the other cop inside.
When the weapon ceased fire everything went quiet. Cosmicon lowered his arm and turned to walk back towards the goons. As he walked the second cop car caught fire and eventually exploded. Sea Slug looked over at him after closing up the back of the truck. "Trucks loaded up boss." "Good. Proceed back to base. Keep to the back alleys." "You got it." Sea Slug and the goons got into the truck and drove away while Cosmicon transformed into his jet mode and flew off into the air. On a nearby rooftop a shadowy figure looked on. He stepped out revealing himself to be Henry in his phantom renegade outfit. He turned his head looking at the truck as it left. He then looked at the computer company they just hit and leaped down from the roof.
Inside he searched the building with a flashlight. The place was wrecked from when they searched for the circuit boards. He then checked the office to look through the company files. He pulled out a couple and skimmed over them. Until a certain detail about the boards caught his eye. It read how they were designed for advanced computer programming and reprogramming. "So that's why you guys have been doing some non stop computer shopping." He took out his phone and started taking photos of the files. Afterwards he sent the photos over text to an unknown number. "Hope you got them ready doc, because this just got a whole lot bigger."
(Special Corp HQ)
Meanwhile in an undisclosed location in central Japan Dr. Aki was walking down a hall when he received Henry's text on his phone. He went through the pictures going over every detail. This of course confirmed his worst fears, that not only was Cosmicon stealing Kilobots he was also reprogramming them to be his soldiers. Dr. Aki then stepped through some doors guarded by two uniformed security guards. He held up a security pass and one of the guards nodded their head opening the door for him to step through.
He enters a large room with a circular table and three large screens taking up the entirety of the walls within the room. A group of people were already seated at the table. Dr. Aki took a seat in the last available chair. A man sitting in one of the chairs broke the silence. "Alright now that we're all here let's begin." As he spoke images appeared on the screens depicting the events of the past week. "Over the course of the past week several locations belonging to the Xtreme corporation have been raided by the formerly dormant group known as The Rubber Robo Gang. This group was the cause of the robattle tournament incident four years ago. Since then they haven't been as active until they struck last week making off with five capsules containing five ancient medabots. Not long after they attacked the stock exchange building and made off with files containing transaction history for the whole city."
The images on the screen change with each incident. "This was soon followed by two more attacks in populated civilian areas. At first it was believed these bots were under orders to initiate these attacks by the Rubber Robo Gang but thanks Intel provided by Dr. Aki we now know the organization has come under new leadership." The images of the screens change to show Cosmicon and his generals. "From what we can tell the medabots that were stolen have gained full control over the organization and have been the ones orchestrating these attacks. Now from what we've gathered their main base of operations is situated along the harbor area bordering the city. So far we have yet to establish their full strength and what their primary goal is but…." Dr. Aki raised his hand. "Um commander if I may?" The commander stopped speaking and looked over at Dr. Aki. "Yes doctor what is it?" "I actually have a theory about that." "Very well the floor is yours doctor." "Thank you. Now we know the leader of these bots aka Cosmicon has been ordering the raids and robberies of every location supplying and storing kilobots. However he has also ordered robberies on several advanced computer programming companies and firms across the city."
Dr. Aki got up from his chair and walked over to plug his phone into one of the screens displaying several images. "As you can see here on this screen the computer equipment stolen is used to program/reprogram central computer systems. Specifically that of robotics." The screens changed again to show kilobot blueprints. "Unlike medabots, a kilobot's core processor is less complex, making them easier to program. This of course however leaves them with less personality and is more susceptible to corruptive programming." One of the people at the table raised his hand. "Excuse me doctor but hasn't Xtreme made it impossible for their Kilobots to be hacked?" "Yes that fact is true, however I have it on good authority that the enemy has already been reprogramming dozens of kilobots over the past few days. And to make matters worse they have an ingenious scientist working with them." The screens changed to show images of Dr. Meda-Evil causing everyone in the room to gasp in shock.
One of them stood up from their seat. "That's impossible. Dr. Meda-Evil left the planet with Dr. Hushi four years ago and hasn't been seen since." Dr. Aki addressed the person. "That is correct but before that he had already created several robot duplicates of himself. Each one programmed with his insidious personality." The commander spoke up next. "What are you saying doctor? That the Dr. Meda-Evil working with Cosmicon is one of these duplicates?" "That is exactly what I'm saying commander." "And how do you know this?" "You have your sources commander and I have mine." The entire room filled with murmurs of everyone at the table. Dr. Aki spoke up over the murmurs. "Gentlemen if we don't act soon we may face the beginning of a war the likes of which humanity has never seen." The commander spoke up next. "How do you figure that doctor?" "Commander, Cosmicon and the others are not like the threats we have faced in the past. They aren't interested in politics or wealth. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. And they will never stop until they achieve their primary goal." "Which is what exactly?" "Complete global domination."
The room went quiet for a moment before the commander stood up. "We will attack the enemy base at precisely 0700 hours. Dr. Aki, I hope your "team" is ready." "With respect, commander, I'm not the one who decided to put them on the frontline." They each gave each other stern looks before the commander announced that the meeting was adjourned. Everyone stood up to leave the room while Dr. Aki took out his phone to begin sending a text. On his phone the text read "The attack begins tomorrow tonight at 7:00 pm. Look after them for me." With that he sent the message and proceeded to leave the room with everyone else.
(Henry's shop)
The next day the group had finished training at Dr. Aki's lab and were hanging out at Henry's shop as per their established routine. For the most part they acted as if everything was normal. Talking about such things as weekend plans, complaining about their home lives and studying for exams. Of course even Henry could see that they were only distracting themselves from what was hanging above all their heads. Tonight was the night that they would be taking part in the raid on Cosmicon's base.
On the day before they had all agreed to try and be as calm as possible. The young teens also took the time to do some tuning up on their partners. They carefully examined each part for any sign of defects or loose pieces. They also took the time to go over their battle tactics and combat skills for each medabot. Now it was decided that Neutranurse, Black Beetle, Krosserdog and Brass would act as support while Arc-Dash, Peppercat, Sumiladon, Totalizer, Tyrel-beetle and Roks would handle offense. Since Rokusho and Metabee were each capable of using the Medaforce in battle they would be in reserve until it was time for them to join. At first Metabee was against the idea of being "put on the bench" but eventually agreed.
After a while they each left the shop to head home and wait for when they would be picked up by The Special Corp. As the group separated Ikki, Metabee, Erika and Brass walked in the same direction. They had managed to convince Erika's parents to allow her and Brass to sleep over at Ikki and Metabee's house so as not to worry them about what they were about to do. As for most of their friends they had each told their families that they were staying over at Karin's house. Zuru was going to stay at Kam's house.

As the four of them walked up to the house Ikki and Erika both put on brave faces before entering. "Hi Mom, we're back." Ikki's mom sat on the couch in the living room looking over at them from the TV. "Welcome back boys. Hello Erika it's good to see you again. How's your mother?" "Oh she's doing fine . Thanks again for letting me and Brass stay over." Brass bowed her head. "Yes thank you miss." "Of course. After all, it's not everyday my son gets to bring home such a lovely girl." Ikki and Erika's faces started to turn bright red. "Come on mom Erika and I are just good friends. That's all." "That's right. Just friends heh heh." Metabee and Brass chucked a little at their partners' embarrassment. Ikki's mom stood up from the couch. "Well anyway just make yourselves comfortable. And I'll get started on dinner."
Brass walked up to her. "Would you like some help?" "Why thank you Brass, that's very kind of you." Erika spoke up next. "Mrs. Tenryou do you mind if I use your bathroom? I really need a shower." "Oh go right ahead dear, it's up the stairs third door on your right. There's extra towels in the cupboard if you need them." "Thank you." Erika went right upstairs to head for the bathroom. Ikki's mom turned to Brass. "Alright then Brass let's get to work." "Yes mam." Ikki spoke up next. "Metabee and I will set the table mom." "Thank you boys. Try not to break anything." "We won't."
Over the course of the next few minutes Ikki and Metabee set the table with both of them starting at one side. While back in the kitchen Brass and Ikki's mom were busy cooking stew. Ikki's mom was chopping vegetables while Brass stirred the pot. "I think it's almost ready ." Ikki's mom walked over with a spoon to taste test. "Hmm. It's good but it feels like it's missing something." Brass stepped down from the stool and walked over to grab some spices and handed them to her. "Will these do?" "Perfect. You know you're quite the cook." "Thank you. Miss Erika's mother lets me help her cook sometimes." "Well I can see it's come in real handy." "Yes mam."
A few moments later everyone was sitting at the table eating and talking. Well Ikki, his mom and Erika were eating while Metabee and Brass just sat at the table contributing to the conversation. The topic varied through different subjects from catching up to reliving nostalgia. Ikki and Erika tried their best not to tell Ikki's mom about what was about to happen, not wanting to worry her. Once dinner was done Ikki and Erika thanked Ikki's mom for the meal. As she was about to stand to clear the table Metabee stood up first. "Let me do that. It's the least I can do since I wasn't able to eat anything." Ikki's mom giggled at Metabee's comment. "Why thank you dear." As things were getting cleaned up Ikki and Erika both received a text on their phones. They both looked to see the message read "Proceed outside when ready."
They looked at each other before looking at Brass. She could tell by the looks on their faces what was happening and nodded before going into the kitchen. Metabee was washing dishes in the sink. Brass walked up to him, tapping his shoulder to get his attention. Metabee turned to look at her. "What's up?" "It's time." Metabee's expression turned serious and nodded. He finished up his work and left with her to join Ikki and Erika in the living room. Ikki turned to his mom, feigning a yawn. "Well I think me and Erika are gonna turn in early. Night mom." Erika spoke up next. "Goodnight Mrs. Tenryou, thank you again for the meal." "Goodnight kids. Sleep well." The four of them went upstairs and into Ikki's room.
Not long after they snuck out through the window and climbed down taking care not to make too much noise. They soon met up with a car parked nearby. The back door opening signaling them to step inside. They each climbed inside with the last person closing the door. As the car began to drive away Ikki looked back towards his house. An expression of regret forming on his face.
(Outside the Rubber Robo Gang's hideout)
An hour later the car pulled up near a large black truck. Ikki and the others got out and were led inside the trailer. The inside had been redesigned to act as a temporary command center. A line of chairs were placed in front of blank screens. Most of them were already filled by the rest of their friends. Ikki and Erika were instructed to sit in the remaining two chairs. Upon sitting down the screens flickered on showing the face of the Commander of the Special Corp. "Good evening to you all. My name is Commander Sato. I will be the one leading this operation. First off allow me to express my understanding of how difficult this situation has been for all of you. Believe me I wish there were other options. However, now is not the time for regrets, it is the time for action. As you all know the goal of this operation is neutralizing the enemy inside this warehouse." As he spoke the images changed to show the location he was referring to. "From what intelligence we were able to gather there are about 30 to 40 human enemies with several dozens of kilobots inside. Most of the kilobots are nothing more than simple machines but the high priority threat is that of the kilobot identified as Cosmicon."
"He and his generals have already caused several incidents across the city including attacking your school. Seeing as how your medabots have faced some of these bots and have survived they will take point in the assault. These screens have been programmed to interface with your medabot's visuals allowing you to see everything they see. The headsets in front of you will allow you to communicate with them and issue commands during this operation." Everyone looked down and each picked up a headset with a mic attachment. "Our agents and combat units will provide support for your medabots inside. Your mission parameters are simple: Destroy the reprogrammed kilobots and capture Cosmicon and his generals. Under no circumstances should they be able to escape. Best of luck to you all. Commander Sato out."
The screens shut off. Dr. Aki walked along the chairs addressing everyone. "Alright kids this is it. You've all trained hard for this. This isn't gonna be easy but as long as you all work together with your partners I know you can win." Dr. Aki looked over each one. "Now get ready." Ikki and his friends put on the headsets. Dr. Aki gestured to the nearest agent who spoke into their radio. Outside Metabee and Brass had been fitted with a connection module by a few agents before joining the others. Along the outside not far from the warehouse Special Corp forces readied to storm the building. They all got into position with one or two squads landing on the roof.
Metabee and his friends huddled up and lowered their heads almost as if in prayer. Metabee started first. "Ok guys, are you ready for this?" Sumiladon spoke next. "Probably not but not like that's ever stopped us before." Peppercat chimed in. "Let's make those assholes wish they'd never come out of their capsules." Metabee looked around. "Alright then. Remember to watch each other's backs in there." They all replied in agreement. "Ok Let's do this." They broke the huddle and all went off to their assigned positions. Inside the truck the screens flashed on showing the images each of the medabots were seeing. An agent announced over the radio to standby and to prepare to begin the assault.
(Inside the Rubber Robo Gang's hideout)
Meanwhile Rubber Robos were busy unloading kilobots for reprogramming while the ones already reprogrammed were standing by in large containers. Cosmicon walked along the catwalk looking down at the Operation below. His generals were all sitting down on a table. Each one wearing one of Dr. Meda-Evil's headbands used to reprogram the kilobots. "Doctor." Meda-Evil looked up at Cosmicon. "Yes my lord?" "How soon til we're ready to mobilize?" "Soon my lord very soon. I admit the process has been slow going but the equipment you and your generals acquired has helped achieve great results." Meda-Evil walked up to a console and pressed a few buttons. Upon doing so a row of newly reprogrammed kilobots stood at attention. "I estimate we'll have a full battalion ready for action within the hour." "Good have the current units ready to proceed at a moment's notice."
"As you wish my lord." Cosmicon left Meda-Evil to his work while the kilobots walked away to join the others. Cosmicon paced along the catwalk with his hands behind his back before stopping in the middle grasping the rail with both hands. His thoughts brimming with his ambitions for the future. 'This is only the beginning. Soon I will have an army at my command. The largest force this world has ever seen in over 10,000 years. In that moment this world and revenge will. Be. Mine!' His thoughts were suddenly interrupted by a large blast destroying the main warehouse doors.
*Saturday night by Elton John starts playing
Before long Special Corp forces begin to pour into the building firing stasis rounds at the closest Rubber Robos. Another group then enters from the skylight above, repelling down on ziplines. Sea Slug starts yelling orders and weapons are passed out to the other members who begin firing back. Cosmicon looks down at the ensuing battle and looks to Meda-Evil. "ACTIVATE THE BATTALION!" "But they're not ready my lord." "I SAID ACTIVATE THEM!" Dr. Meda-Evil turned toward a console and put in the activation command. The kilobots immediately sprung into action coming into conflict with the Special Corp forces.
Cosmicon looked to his generals as they stood up from the table removing the headbands. "DESTROY THEM ALL!" The four generals charged into the battle seemingly leading the kilobots forward. Metabee and the other medabots were spread out taking on kilobots as they were coming. Brass and Blackbeetle used their blasters to shoot at a few kilobots from long range. Tyrel-beetle transformed into his alternate mode taking on the form of a skateboard with Roks riding with his dual blades out to slash random kilobots as they whizzed by. While Sumiladon rushed in slashing two kilobots with his claw blades. Until he turned to face down an Exor Kilobot causing their blades to clash. At first Sumiladon was stunned at the kilobot in front of him. "Wait a second. Is this supposed to be me?!" Exor pushed him off, sending him into a crate.
Sumilidon quickly dodged another slash before blocking two more attacks. Koji spoke into his headset. "Focus Sumilidon. Block one more time and use Straw Hammer." Sumilidon followed his orders and proceeded to use his left arm to smash Exor's faceplate. Exor staggered allowing Sumiladon to slash at their midsection successfully causing it to cease functioning and drop to the floor. Sumiladon looked over and brushed off his shoulder. "If there's one thing I can't stand, it's cheap knock offs." Elsewhere Aracno-Droid smashed two Special Corp medabots before blasting a third with his arm cannon. He then heard someone shout out his name. He turned to see Arc-Dash stand not far off clenching his fists. Aracno-Droid chuckled. "Ready for a rematch!?" "Trust me Aracno-Droid it's not gonna be much of a match." The two mechs immediately started charging at one another.
In mid charge they both transformed into their alternate forms with Aracno-Droid transforming into his spider mode and Arc-Dash transforming into a car-like vehicle. The two soon collided with Aracno-Droid using his four front legs to latch onto Arc-Dash's forward horns causing him to be pushed back a few feet before stopping. Aracno-Droid continued laughing. "Come on! Don't you have anything new?!" "HOW ABOUT THIS!?" Aracno-Droid looked up to see Peppercat climb over Arc-Dash and land on his back sending an electric shock through his body forcing him to cry out and release Arc-Dash. He reeled back trying to throw her off before one of his legs was blasted by Krosserdog from a distance causing him to stagger backward followed by Totalizer's fist colliding with his face. After a few more hits Totalizer and Peppercat leaped back as Arc-Dash fired a massive beam at Aracno-Droid sending him flying into a truck. Arc-Dash reverted back into robot mode with Totalizer, Krosserdog and Peppercat standing next to him.
Aracno-Droid got back up, reverting back into his own robot form. He glared at the four of them. Arc-Dash stepped forward. "Guess nobody told you. You mess with one of us, you mess with ALL of us!" Aracno-Droid snickered, wiping away fluid leaking from his mouth. "Well alright then. COME ON!" The Screw Medabots charged forward with Aracno-Droid running to meet them. Peppercat lunged at him only to be swatted away. Totalizer and Arc-Dash both threw a punch at him which Aracno-Droid caught with both hands before pulling them up and smashing them into each other. Both bots fell to the floor disoriented.
He loomed over them when laser blasts started bouncing off his shoulder. He turned to look over at Krosserdog who was holding both his blasters up, slightly shaking where he stood. Aracno-Droid sneered at him. "Nice peashooters. Now let me show you mine." He raised his left hand as it transformed into a cannon that began charging up. Krosserdog nervously gulped. Before long he was dodging plasma blasts being fired at him. Aracno-Droid laughed loudly until he was interrupted by an uppercut to the chin by Arc-Dash. Aracno-Droid took a few steps back before receiving another blow to the face. As Arc-Dash was about to throw a third punch Aracno-Droid countered with a right hook hitting him in the face. He then grabbed ahold of Arc-Dash's horns and tossed him aside.
Peppercat yelled out leaping at Aracno-Droid again with her claws electrified. Aracno-Droid quickly turned, catching her in mid air. "Not this time pussycat." He slammed her down hard into the ground causing her to gasp in pain. He raised his foot ready to stomp on her before getting hit by a crate that was tossed at him. He turned to see Totalizer lifting another crate and tossing it at him. Aracno-Droid raised his cannon and blasted it in midair. A cloud of smoke formed between them. Totalizer tried to see through it only to see a metal hand push through grabbing his face and lifting him up off the ground. Aracno-Droid glared at him in a way that made Sloan shake in his chair on the other side of the screen. "GIVE ME A REAL FIGHT!" Aracno-Droid then tossed Totalizer to the ground before cracking his knuckles and walking over to him.

Elsewhere Roks and Tyrel-beetle continued to speed through the warehouse, cutting down kilobots as they went. While just above them Bloodbeetle stepped out of the shadows into the rafters looking down at them. He raised his blaster taking aim at the moving targets below. He started blasting hitting Tyrel-beetle causing him to veer out of control and toss Roks off before crashing into some crates. Roks flew through the air trying his best to land on his feet.
He slid across the ground looking for where the shots came from. Suddenly he felt a shadow come over him and looked up in time to see Bloodbeetle plummeting down towards him with his energy blades. Roks lifted his own blade blocking him. He pushed him off sending Bloodbeetle a few feet away until he started running towards Roks for another attack. Roks kept his blade up blocking Bloodbeetle's attacks. When he attempted to counter Bloodbeetle leaped over him landing behind him slashing him from behind. Roks clutched his hurt shoulder and turned around in time to block another attack.
On his screen Zuru watched as Roks struggled against Bloodbeetle while Tyrel-beetle was still down for the count. "Guys, Tyrel-beetle is unresponsive and Roks needs back up." Gai's face scrunched up in frustration. "Some of us have our own problems here, Zuru." Him and the other Screws tried their best to command their partners as they continued fighting Aracno-Droid. Spike spoke up nervously. "Th-this is insane. No matter what we try he just keeps coming." Sloan spoke next. "Yeah it's like this bots a one mech army or something." Samantha shouted at the both of them. "Stop acting like cowards and keep fighting you idiots! Remember The Screws gang never runs from a fight!" Karin shouted in agreement. "She's right. We can't give up now." Kam nodded. "Hold on Zuru, I'm sending Black Beetle to support Roks."
Back with Roks he slammed his back into a wall dodging Bloodbeetle's energy blade. Roks attempted to attack him from the side only to be caught in his cloak before being pulled to the ground. When he removed the covering from his head he looked up to see Bloodbeetle's blaster aimed right at his head. "How disappointing." As he was about to fire a plasma bolt hit him in the shoulder forcing him to retreat while dodging additional shots. Roks sat up in time to see Black Beetle drop down next to him firing at Bloodbeetle. "Need a hand?" "Heh. I wouldn't mind." Black Beetle offered him a hand which he took as she helped him up. They both looked back to where Bloodbeetle ran off. "He took off behind those crates." "I'll handle this, you fall back." "No, we'll face him together." Zuru spoke to Roks over comms. "No Roks she's right. You can't keep fighting in your current condition and Tyrel-beetle is down for the count. You both need to get out of there."
Roks was about to protest when Black Beetle spoke up, interrupting him. "Roks, I understand your feelings but now isn't the time. You need to get Tyrel-beetle out of here." Roks looked at her. "Black Beetle" "Just go I'll be fine." Roks nodded. "Alright, just be careful. He's not an easy opponent." "Understood. Now go." Roks turned and ran over to Tyrel-beetle to check him over. He shifted through broken pieces of wood until he found Tyrel-beetle still in his vehicle mode. He laid him out on the ground before getting on and pushing him forward with his foot riding him out. "This is Roks, Tyrel-beetle and I are unable to continue. We're falling back to the command center." A female Special Corp agent spoke over comms. "Understood, all units be advised Units Roks and Tyrel-beetle are falling back. Recovery units standby for intercept." Black Beetle readied her blasters before going after Bloodbeetle.
As the battle heated up more and more Kilobots were coming online to slowly overpower the Special Corp forces. A number of human agents were shot while some were wounded. As another agent tried to help their wounded comrade a Desperado walked up aiming both it's machine guns at them. As the Kilobot opened fire on them an energy shield formed over the two agents protecting them. They looked up to see Neutranurse holding her arms out projecting her force field. At the same time Sumilidon rushed at the Desperado, slashing them with his blades. As it fell over, Sumilidon glanced over at Neutranurse. "Nice move." "Thanks, Sumilidon not bad yourself." As Sumilidon beamed at her compliment towards him a single blade flew at him from behind. "Sumilidon watch out!" Sumilidon ducked just in time for the blade to fly over his head.
Sumilidon quickly turned around to see Meta-Cronus dropping down and landing nearby standing up to face him. "You know how to dance don't ya?" "Actually I did partake in some dancing not too long ago. At least until-" "SHUT UP AND DANCE!" Meta-Cronus held up his blade fingers. "Uh oh." Meta-Cronus began laughing maniacally as he fired blade after blade at Sumilidon causing him to dodge and block with his own blades. Koji spoke to him through comms. "That's it Sumilidon just keep moving till he runs out." "Not a problem Koji." Before long Meta-Cronus fired his last finger at Sumilidon who deflected it easily.
Meta-Cronus looked at his fingerless hands and back towards Sumilidon. "Whatcha gonna do now huh?" Meta-Cronus responded with a snicker before flicking his wrists causing another set of blade fingers to pop up on both hands. Sumilidon looked at his hands. "Well, that's slightly terrifying." Meta-Cronus then charged at Sumilidon, slashing at him with his blades while laughing like a loonatic. Sumilidon tried his best to block his attacks, taking serious damage doing so. Neutranurse stood there wanting to help her friend but looked back at the two agents behind her. "Karin, what do I do?" "Just hold on Neutranurse. I'm sure one of the others will come to help. In the meantime help get those wounded agents out of there." "Got it." She turned to the agents helping them to their feet.
Sumilidon tried fighting back against Meta-Cronus only to barely dodge getting his face slashed by his fingers. "Hold still! How can I gut you if you keep moving?" "Dude you've got some serious screws loose." Meta-Cronus continued slashing at him, nearly cutting into his head. Sumilidon kept his arms up guarding against his attacks. On Koji's screen he could see Sumilidon's arms getting close to cease functioning. "Sumilidon your arms can't take much more. Get away from him." "I'm trying Koji. This psycho just won't let up." "Aw what's a matter? Arms getting cut up? Well just relax, I'm a medic." Meta-Cronus giggled, taking another slash at Sumilidon. A few seconds later his left arm gave out and ceased function.
He then delivered a swift kick into his midsection forcing him to the ground. Sumilidon tried getting up while Meta-Cronus started walking towards him, twiddling his fingers as he started singing to himself. "Tick Tock goes the clock and all the years that fly," He creeped closer and closer towards Sumilidon. "Tick Tock and all too soon, You must surely die." He raised his left hand ready to finish him off when suddenly Sumilidon turned over, throwing a piece of metal at him and hitting his head. Meta-Cronus cried out grasping his head, giving Sumilidon the chance to slip away.
Sumilidon ducked behind a crate. Meta-Cronus shook his head looking around. "YOU CAN RUN LITTLE MECH, BUT YOU CAN'T HIDE!"
Elsewhere Cosmicon looked down at the fight below and clenched his fists. "I am not here as a witness." He then jumped down and started engaging with the Special Corp forces. Before long Cosmicon started blasting at both Special Corp agents and medabots alike. He then switched to his blade on his right arm and slashed a few medabots to pieces. An agent raised their weapon and fired at him with the shots bouncing off his armor. Cosmicon then turned toward the agent and raised his minigun to fire at them. Until suddenly he spotted out of the corner of his eye someone fire at him from above.
He dodge rolled out of the way and stood up to return fire. Only to freeze in place when he spotted Brass aiming her blaster at him. Instead of firing he just slowly lowered his weapon staring right at her. "Feyou" Brass stared back at him confused. Until suddenly she was shot in the shoulder falling to the ground. Cosmicon gasped, turning around to see the shot came from Dr. Meda-Evil whose arm changed into a laser beam weapon. He sneered before running off somewhere. Cosmicon then turned back to where Brass fell and started running.
Back at the command center Erika could see Brass lying on her back gripping her shoulder. "Brass are you ok?" "I'm fine Miss Erika. Just a scratch." An agent spoke over comms. "Command, primary target spotted." "Copy that, prepare to send in the second wave." Ikki straightened up in his chair. "Hear that Metabee? We're up next." "It's about time. Let's do this!" Metabee and Rokusho stood ready to go in. "Second wave, Go." Metabee and Rokusho charged forward with more Special Corp medabots. Once inside Metabee and Rokusho split up to start taking Kilobots down.
Dr. Meda-Evil ran over towards a console and raised his left arm causing a USB plug to spring out of his palm. He plugged into the console and started downloading everything from the computer. Once he was done he unplugged and looked over at Sea Slug and the remaining goons. "Get everything out of here. Now!" Sea Slug shouted orders and the goons started grabbing everything they could and heading through an exit out back. Then suddenly Rokusho dropped down in front of Meda-Evil. Before Meda-Evil could raise his weapon at him, Rokusho put his blade to his throat. "Why are you aiding in this destruction?" "I-I am merely fulfilling my purpose. I was built to ensure complete global domination." "That purpose is no more. The man who built you saw the wrong he was doing and repented." "My creator was a weak human fool. So I will accomplish where he failed." Rokusho drove his blade deeper into Meda-Evil's throat causing him to strain a bit.
"The only thing you will accomplish is bringing destruction upon yourself and everyone on this planet." "Heh. This planet was never theirs to begin with. And soon it will be returned to its rightful masters." "Perhaps, but you will not live to see it." Rokusho raised his blade to slash Dr. Meda-Evil. Only to have it blocked by a separate sword. Rokusho looked to see Kaizen standing there and pushed him away from Meda-Evil. Kaizen stood in between the two. "Doctor, return to the other humans." "Yes. Of course." Meda-Evil ran off to join Sea Slug and the others. Kaizen and Rokusho exchanged glances between them before assuming battle stances and raising their swords.

The two mechs stared each other down waiting to see which would strike first. "Rokusho" "Kaizen" "Good" In an instant the two mechs clashed their blades and fought hard like two expert samurai. They then stopped and circled each other. Kaizen lunged forward swinging his blade. Rokusho side stepped, dodging the attack and slashed at Kaizen who immediately blocked with his own sword. They began clashing again before Kaizen took another swing, effectively cutting off one of Rokusho's horns. Rokusho leaped back, landing a few feet away before lifting his hand to grasp where his horn was.
Rokusho looked back at Kaizen who assumed a battle stance again. Rokusho steadied his breath and raised his sword ready to continue.

Meanwhile Black Beetle walked slowly with her blaster ready and her head on a swivel searching for Bloodbeetle. She carefully peaked around every corner while behind cover before moving on to the next. "Keep your guard up Black Beetle. Don't let him get the drop on you." "Understood Kam." Black Beetle took a few more steps when suddenly the lights in the area went out. She instinctively raised her blaster ready to fire. Every angle she looked, all she saw was darkness. "You're not like those comrades of yours you know." Black Beetle jumped upon hearing the voice but still saw no sign of her target. "I can tell just by looking at you. You're different from them. You're a warrior like us." "Then why don't you come out and face me like one."
Black Beetle continued to search for Bloodbeetle in the darkness. "You know you really should be fighting WITH us instead of against us. You'd make a valuable ally." "As if I'd join with the likes of you. You're all killers." "Spoken like someone who knows better than anyone." "I'm no killer." "But you're not exactly innocent are you? Deep down you're just like us. You just don't want to admit it." "I'm nothing like you!" "Are you sure about that? See we were like you once. Brave loyal warriors who put our trust in those we thought were our brothers. Only to be betrayed and sealed off to be forgotten. Do you have any idea what that's like?" Black Beetle's movements became quicker and more focused. "To be locked away in a metal prison against your will?"
Suddenly Black Beetle experienced flashbacks of when her medal was forcefully taken out of her to be put inside Gryphon. "To feel your very being slowly fade away into nothingness?" Flashes of Gryphon going berserk exploded in her mind making her shake and grip the side of her head. On the other end with Kam his screen began to go in and out. "Black Beetle, what's going on? Black Beetle can you hear me?" Black Beetle fell to her knees breaking down into a fit of hysteria. "To feel betrayed by the very people you swore nothing but loyalty to?" Flashes of Kam's emotionless expression filled her head. "I think you do. Don't you?" Suddenly she cried out and raised her blaster and started firing in all directions.
She kept firing until her blaster barrel overheated. "SHOW YOURSELF YOU COWARD!" Black Beetle's challenge was met only with silence. Her heavy panting and the distant sounds of the battle being the only thing she heard. She looked around sitting in the dark until the red glow of Bloodbeetle's energy blades appeared in front of her. He walked up and kneeled in front of her leaning closer, speaking no louder than a whisper. "You are exactly like us. You put your trust in someone and they betrayed you. Forced to be something you're not." Black Beetle struggled to speak. "Th-that's not true. Kam isn't like that anymore. He'd never…" "Never what? Betray you again? Use you like a tool? Do you really believe that?" Black Beetle sat silently looking down.
Bloodbeetle moved in close, speaking silently. "No one ever truly changes. You may fool yourself into believing otherwise but deep down you know the truth. If he was willing to betray you once. Then he'll do it again." He stood up looking down at her. "Ask yourself this, what are you a warrior? Or a puppet?" Black Beetle looked up to see Bloodbeetle vanish into the shadows. In the darkness she could barely make out Kam's voice calling her. "Beetle! Black Beetle can you hear me?" Black Beetle broke out of her trance and responded. "Yes Kam I hear you." "What happened I could barely see or hear anything. Are you alright?" "Yes I'm, I'm fine but Bloodbeetle got away. I'm sorry I failed." "It's alright Black Beetle as long as you're OK. The others need help. Try to find your way back to them." "Understood I'm on my way." Black Beetle stood up and ran in the direction she came from. Bloodbeetle's words echoing in the darkness of her mind. 'Ask yourself this, what are you a warrior? Or a puppet?'
Back with the others Aracno-Droid picked up Krosserdog and tossed him toward Arc-Dash who tried to catch him. Totalizer and Peppercat both rushed him at once. Aracno-Droid backhanded Peppercat away while catching Totalizer fists with his hands. The two mechs struggled pitting their respective strengths against each other. "Looks like someone's been working out." Aracno-Droid started to slowly push Totalizer back. "It doesn't matter though. You're still no match against me." Totalizer lifted his head and fired two lasers at Arachno-Droid, blinding him. As Aracno-Droid cried out in frustration, Totalizer shoved back against him effectively lifting him up and tossing him. "Who's not a match for who now asshole?"
Nearby Sumilidon moved in between boxes to dodge Meta-Cronus' flying blades. He kept moving until a blade pierced his right leg forcing him to the ground. He tried to crawl away only to be kicked over and choked out by Meta-Cronus. "Nowhere to run to now. Hehehehe." Sumilidon struggled to break free but was too weak against his grip. "Any last requests?" Sumilidon looked up and stopped struggling. "Actually yes, could you suddenly fly off me through the air screaming like femme?" "What?" Suddenly Meta-Cronus was blasted off Sumilidon flying through the air screaming. Sumilidon sat up to see Black Beetle standing there with her other blaster barrel smoking.
"Thanks alot." "That makes you the third medabot I've had to save." "Hey to be fair, mine was crazy." Black Beetle helped him up. "Come on, I'm getting you out of here." Back with Arc-Dash and Totalizer Aracno-Droid started to get back up grabbing at his head before shaking off his blindness. Peppercat stood next to them claws bared. "IS THAT THE BEST YOU CAN DO!?" Aracno-Droid stood up and heard screaming coming towards him. He looked up to see Meta-Cronus flying right at him before crashing into him. The two mechs struggled to get back up. "Get off me!" "Get your foot outta my face!" Totalizer and Peppercat struggled not to laugh at the sight before them.
Metabee ran up to them. "Hey guys!" Arc-Dash turned to Metabee. "Well look who finally joined in." "Sorry I'm late, what did I miss?" "Just take a look." Arc-Dash gestured to Aracno-Droid tossing Meta-Cronus off of himself and standing back up. "Miserable piece of scrap." Meta-Cronus stood back up. "You're not exactly a prize yourself." The two mechs turned to face the four medabots in front of them. Metabee spoke up. "Remember me ugly?" Aracno-Droid growled. "I'm gonna enjoy crushing you into tin." Meta-Cronus giggled. "Yeah and afterwards I'll slice you up into little bits." "Yeah good luck because in case you haven't noticed this time there's four of us and only two of you."
Upon uttering those words a group of kilobots appeared behind Aracno-Droid and Meta-Cronus. Metabee's eyes bulged with surprise. "Uhhhh" Peppercat spoke up. "Ok four of us and….eight, nine." Totalizer leaned over. "Uh did you count that one?" "I think so. OK WILL YOU ALL STOP MOVING AROUND!? IT'S SO FRUSTRATING! I THINK I COUNTED ONE OF YOU TWICE!" Aracno-Droid raised his cannon. "While you're at it...COUNT THESE!" The kilobots raised their weapons and opened fire. Metabee and the others scrambled to get behind cover as Krosserdog got back up. "Ok you guys I'm back up." "Great, now get down!" "Wait what?" A shot rang out over his head startling him to drop down behind a crate.
Metabee stood up firing a few shots but only managing to hit one kilobot. "Ikki we're pinned down. We could use some help." "Just hang on Metabee I'm sure someone will come." Standing in the back Dr. Aki spoke to the agent in charge. "What happened to their backup?" "They've been reassigned to go after the target." "Are you serious? Three of their medabots are already out of commission while two of them are busy helping your wounded agents get out alive." "I'm sorry doctor but I have my orders." "These kid's friends are putting their lives on the line and all you can think about is orders?" "I suggest you keep your voice down doctor or else you will be removed from the command center." Dr. Aki stood in angered silence.
On Erika's screen Brass stood back up and was searching for the others. Along the way she helped agents fight off kilobots and neutralize Rubber Robos. She turned a corner where a Cutter dropped down in front of her. It swung it's blade at her, knocking her down. As it was getting ready to stab her a blade penetrated it's chest from behind. The blade was pulled out causing it to collapse. Brass looked up and gasped to see the blade belonging to Cosmicon. He looked down at her and retracted his blade and walked over to her. Brass scrambled to get back up and aimed her blaster at him. "STAY BACK!" Cosmicon stopped. "Don't be afraid. I'm not going to hurt you." Brass stood there confused. "Look at me. You know me." "You're the one who attacked us at the park that day." "No. No I would never hurt you Feyou you know that." He held his hand out to her.
Brass looked at him, unable to understand what he meant. "Come with me now, Feyou." Suddenly Special Corp medabots dropped down around them aiming weapons at Cosmicon. "Target sighted, engaging." They opened fire prompting Cosmicon to move. However instead of attacking he moved to protect Brass from the gunfire shielding her. Cosmicon raised his blaster and began firing at them. "Stay behind me Feyou. I'll protect…" He was interrupted by Brass blasting him from behind. He turned around and looked at her in surprise. "Feyou?" Brass backed up with three more medabots dropping between them.
Brass took the opportunity to run while Cosmicon called out to her. "Feyou wait!" The medabots continued firing on him causing him to growl out in anger. His body glowing with a golden aura. "YOU WILL NOT TAKE HER AWAY FROM ME!" A massive beam fired from his head cannon disintegrating all the medabots as the beam trailed over the area, extending all the way outside the warehouse destroying everything it touched. Outside Neutranurse, Roks and Sumilidon looked up at the beam of energy coming out of the warehouse. This even prompted Ikki and the others to step out of the trailer to see what was happening.
Dr. Aki looked on in horror with Karin walking up to him. "Uncle Aki, what is that?" "That's a medaforce beam. The biggest one mankind's ever seen." He turned to Karin, grabbing her shoulders. "Tell your friends to order their medabots to get out of there. Now!" Karin ran to the others while Aki turned to the agent. "Pull your forces out, agent." "I can't do that doctor. Our orders are to….." Dr. Aki pointed to the beam. "Damn your orders, your forces aren't equipped to handle something like this." He then grabbed the radio out of her hand. "This Dr. Aki to all remaining forces abort mission. I repeat abort mission. Get yourselves out of there now!" A nearby explosion prompted him to shield his eyes.
Back inside Metabee and the others tried to fight off the remaining kilobots but were unable to make any clear progress. Aracno-Droid shouted to his troops. "THAT'S IT KEEP FIRING! DON'T EVEN LET THEM BREATHE!" Krosserdog yelled over the gunfire. "WE CAN'T HOLD OUT MUCH LONGER!" Arc-Dash turned to Metabee. "HE'S RIGHT WE STAY HERE WE'RE AS GOOD AS SCRAP!" "IKKI WE'RE GETTING KILLED HERE WE NEED BACKUP!" "Metabee listen just get out of there. Everyone's falling back so you and the others need to get out now!" "OK GOT IT!" Metabee turned to the others. "HEY! WHEN I GIVE THE SIGNAL HEAD FOR THE EXIT! GOT IT?" They all nodded. He stood up and fired two misses out of his antenna.
Aracno-Droid and Meta-Cronus dodged the missiles which took out several kilobots. "OK GO GO GO!" They all sprang to their feet and started running. "Ikki we're on our way out." "Copy. Just keep moving." Erika spoke up. "Guys I think Brass is in trouble. Everyone turned to her. Samantha came over. "What do you mean?" "I think that Cosmicon guy is after her." "What!?" They all came over to look at her screen. Brass was seen running while looking back to see if anyone was following her. She turned around to be startled by Cosmicon appearing in front of her. Brass gasped and backed away. "WHY ARE YOU ACTING LIKE THIS!?" Brass raised her arm to blast him but Cosmicon grabbed her arm and pulled her toward him. "Feyou it's me you have to remember!" Brass struggled against him. She delivered a swift kick to his head forcing him to let her go.
Brass tried to make a run for it only to be grabbed again by Cosmicon who threw her to the ground. "I don't want to hurt you. Please listen to me. You know me." "I don't know what you're talking about." "DON'T LIE TO ME!" Cosmicon pinned her to the wall. He looked into her eyes as if trying to convince her she knew him. "YOU KNOW ME!" Brass looked into his eyes and saw anger but she also swore she saw something else. Something closer to sadness and pain. "You know me. Feyou, please." Brass took a deep breath. "I'm sorry. I really don't." Cosmicon's eyes changed from red back to green and relaxed a little. "So you've forgotten as well." Cosmicon raised his hand to her face. "But don't worry. I'll help you to remember. And I promise I'll never let anything happen to you again." He leaned in to try to put his face plate against hers.
Brass shoved him away from her. He stood there shocked at first but then glared at her. He tried to grab her again but she managed to slip past him and run. He turned to chase after her. She cried out for help. "SOMEONE HELP ME!" Her cries echoed out until it reached Metabee who stopped in his tracks and turned around. "Brass" he looked ahead and spotted her being chased by Cosmicon. "BRASS!" He reached out to her when suddenly his head began to pound with pain. He then saw images of fire and destruction. Along with silhouettes of two bots standing before the flames with a voice crying out. "KAYAMOU!" The vision faded and Metabee's eyes snapped open. He looked back towards where he saw Brass.
He clenched his fists and straightened up. "Not this time." Arc-Dash called out to Metabee. "Metabee, what are you doing? We gotta go." "Just go ahead. I'll catch up." "What are you talking about?" "Trust me. I'm done running." With that Metabee transformed into his vehicle mode and raced off back inside.
*The Touch by Stan Bush starts playing
He gained speed heading straight for a few remaining kilobots. He collided with the first one sending it flying along with a second one. As he raced toward Meta-Cronus the kilobot leaped out of the way while the remaining kilobots opened fire at him. Aracno-Droid blasted his cannon at Metabee which launched him into the air. Metabee transformed back into his robot form and aimed his right arm blaster, firing a straight shot hitting Aracno-Droid in the chest. As he flew through the air he fired a few more shots taking out three more kilobots. He spun in the air landing on his feet and using his left arm machine gun to take out the remaining kilobots.
He then ran up the steps to catch up to Cosmicon who had Brass cornered. "HEY!" Cosmicon turned around and faced Metabee. "YOU!" "Why don't you pick on someone your own model?" "Why throw away your life so recklessly?" "How about you come over here and find out? You outdated piece of junk?" Cosmicon glared at him. "Insolent fool. I'll crush you with MY BARE HANDS!" He let into the air and transformed into his beetle form and fired his cannon at Metabee. Metabee dodged the blast. "My turn." Metabee transformed into his own beetle form and aimed his cannon to fire back.
Cosmicon dodged the shot and flew into a dive crashing right into Metabee sending them both flying into the air. Metabee used one of his legs to smash into Cosmicon's side causing them to fall onto a nearby platform. Both bots transformed back into robot mode with Cosmicon charging at Metabee. He threw a punch only for Metabee to block and counter with a punch of his own. He then delivered a spinning kick to his head before landing a few more punches to Cosmicon's body forcing him back.
Back with Ikki and the others they watched as Metabee fought Cosmicon on Ikki's screen. Some of them were in awe at what they were seeing. Gai put his hand on Ikki's shoulder. "Damn Ikki, when did you teach Metabee to do that?" "I didn't." "Well he is currently giving that bot a run for his money." Dr. Aki watched the screen with great interest. 'He's doing it. Just like with his fight with Rokusho Metabee is tapping into the memories of his past life.' Back on the screen Metabee blocked another attack by Cosmicon before using both arms to send him into a wall.
Cosmicon got back up and grabbed a metal pipe and threw it at Metabee. The pipe penetrated his right shoulder. Halting him and making him step back. Cosmicon raised his blaster and fired at Metabee who dodge and once again rushed at Cosmicon slamming him into the wall before he could fire another shot. He then stepped back and pulled the pipe out of his shoulder. Cosmicon got back up and brought out his blades. He slashed at Metabee who dodged the first blade but was slashed in the midsection by the second.
He grasped his wound as sparks flew out. Cosmicon leaped into the air ready to stab Metabee. Metabee quickly sidestepped the blade and delivered an uppercut to Cosmicon's face, sending him to the ground on his back. He ran at him when Cosmicon attempted to sweep his leg but Metabee quickly jumped into the air to evade only to come back down and get kicked in the face by Cosmicon. As he fell back Cosmicon pinned him to the ground reaching for Metabee's head. "I'LL RIP OUT YOUR EYES FROM YOUR HEAD!" Metabee struggled with him before pushing both his legs against Cosmicon's chest, sending him flying over the edge of the platform.

Cosmicon fell to the ground hard. Metabee walked up to the edge and looked down at Cosmicon. He leaped down landing on his feet with his blaster raised. He slowly walked toward him ready to finish him off. Up above them Kaizen and Rokusho continued dueling when Rokusho looked down below at Metabee. "THAT'S IT METABEE! NOW END THIS NIGHTMARE!" Kaizen turned to the two mechs below. He was about ready to leap down when Cosmicon raised his hand at him. "NO KAIZEN! YOU AND THE OTHERS GET TO THE DOCKS!" Cosmicon started to slowly get back up. Kaizen hesitated for a moment before nodding in compliance.
He took one last look at Rokusho before leaping back to a higher platform. He then sheathed his sword before going out a window. Rokusho looked back at Metabee and Cosmicon. Metabee stood ready to fire while Cosmicon turned around to face him. "Now then. Where were we?" "I believe we are coming to the part where you lose." Cosmicon chuckled. "I don't think so." "Then you're as stupid as you are crazy." "Perhaps we both are. Not that it matters." He took on a battle stance. "For at the end of this day. One shall stand!" "And one shall f-" Metabee stopped himself mid sentence and stared at Cosmicon. Suddenly that feeling of familiarity began to rise in him again followed by another barrage of visions exploding in his head.
Only this time they were clearer and easier to see. Such as sitting alongside Cosmicon on the bridge. The two training together in the courtyard. Even images of the two of them as much smaller bots watching other medabots lining up to fight in the arena. He could even hear small voices echoing in his mind. 'Just you wait Kayamou. Someday it'll be us down there.' 'You really think so Orion?' 'Of course. As long as we stick together nothing can stop us.' 'Yeah. Together we're invincible!' The smaller Cosmicon held out his fist to Metabee. 'One shall stand!' Metabee placed his fist against Cosmicon's. 'And one shall fall!' The sounds of laughter were the last thing Metabee heard before snapping out of his trance.
Metabee slightly lowered his blaster, confusing both Rokusho and Cosmicon. "I-I know you." A look of realization formed on Cosmicon's face. "You...you were there." "Yes. Yes I was." Rokusho called out to Metabee. "METABEE WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" Before Metabee could react Cosmicon ran off and leaped into the air transforming into his jet mode and flying through the roof. Metabee and Rokusho raced to the nearest window and spotted a large ship leaving the docks. Before long they saw Cosmicon flying toward the ship. Rokusho turned to Metabee. "Metabee, you just let Cosmicon get away!" Metabee looked at him and then at the destroyed kilobots strewn across the warehouse. "Hey at least we wrecked his kilobots.
Back on the ship Cosmicon transformed back into robot mode and landed on the deck. He stood up and turned to the warehouse. "BRING UP THE ARTILLERY!" Suddenly a hatch burst open with a ramp extending out of it. Before long a string of Tankbanks rolled up the ramp and across the deck taking their positions. They stopped and turned, aiming their cannons at the warehouse. Rokusho and Metabee stood at the window stunned. "Ok scratch that he's still got a few more." They both soon heard Cosmicon shout the command of fire at which point the Tankbanks bombarded the warehouse. Rokusho quickly grabbed Metabee and the two mechs ran for their lives as the shots hit.
Back with everyone at the command center everyone screamed upon seeing the warehouse suddenly begin to explode. Neutranurse quickly put up her barrier to shield everyone from flying debris. Aki quickly went to the agent yelling at her to start the truck to escape. As the truck started to move Ikki looked out the back to see if Metabee and Rokusho were out yet. "DR. AKI WAIT METABEE AND ROKUSHO AREN'T OUT YET!" Aki turned to see Ikki was right but unfortunately he knew that if they were to stop now they'd risk being destroyed along with the warehouse.
The entrance of the warehouse burst into flames forcing everyone to cover their eyes. The truck moved further away allowing a few of them to see better. Brass opened her eyes and saw Metabee and Rokusho run out of the entrance. "Miss Erika, Ikki look!" They all saw where she was pointing and spotted the two mechs running from the flames. Karin sighed in relief. "Thank God they're alright." Before they could relax however, the rest of the warehouse erupted into a huge explosion sending Metabee and Rokusho to ground. A massive plume forming in the sky.

Back on the ship Aracno-Droid in tarantula mode climbed up the side of the ship with Meta-Cronus clinging to his back. When they reached the deck Aracno-Droid shook Meta-Cronus off before transforming back into robot mode. "That's the last time I go for a swim." Meta-Cronus got up holding out a fish. "Speak for yourself I caught the catch of the day." As Meta-Cronus giggled Aracno-Droid slapped the fish out of his hands and it ended up back into the water. "Try catching that." "Hmph. Killjoy." The two mechs walked up to the center of the deck.
There they met up with Bloodbeetle and Kaizen. Bloodbeetle looked over at them. "Well you two certainly took your sweet time." Aracno-Droid growled at him. "Hey not all of us have creepy shadow powers you know." "With looks like yours you're creepy enough as it is." "WHY YOU LITTLE-" "ENOUGH!" They all looked to Cosmicon looking out to the water. "It would seem the good doctor's work was a success. The kilobots performed even better than expected." Kaizen nodded. "I Agree. Perhaps he is not so useless after all." Bloodbeetle spoke up next. "He wasn't the only surprising one. I believe we have a potential ally among our enemies." Cosmicon looked at him. "Are you certain of this?" "Have I ever let you down before?" "Very well. I'll trust your judgment but if you disappoint me the consequences will be severe."
Bloodbeetle bowed his head. "I promise you. You won't be disappointed. And I think you'll come to like her." Meta-Cronus giggled. "Sounds like somebody's got himself a little crush." Aracno-Droid made a gagging sound. "Ohhh give me a break." Cosmicon turned to Kaizen. "Have Dr. Meda-Evil activate the reserve units. All of them. I want them ready to move." Kaizen bowed his head. Cosmicon then addressed the rest of his generals. "Tonight we've stayed off our enemies. But that was merely a prelude. Ready yourselves for tomorrow we begin to enact the final phase."
