Sarah left a while ago, leaving me to get ready. Fresh out the shower, I wrap my hair in a towel as well as wrapping myself up in another one. We decided to go to Austin's(Adam Cole) anyways, well I more so begged her to go after I found out Nattie was in town. I step into my room humming Stop And Stare by OneRepublic as I make my way to my closet. From it, I pull a light blue cropped tank and a brown braided belt. I toss both gently on the bed before going to my dresser. From there I pull out my undergarments and a pair of plain blue jeans.

Still humming to the song, I slowly get dressed. Once everything I pulled out is on, I reach under my dresser and grab my white sandals with a braided pattern and put those on too. My phone buzzes from the dresser and I quickly check it, seeing a text from Nattie.

Girl if you're not coming here, I'm going there. I'm only here for you.

I couldn't help but laugh as I text her back.

I'm getting ready right now, then I'll be there. I might wait for Sarah first.

I put my phone back down and after putting on my necklace, I walk into the bathroom, taking my hair out of the towel. After blow-drying it and straightening it, I pull it up in a ponytail, adding a small braided section as well. I walk back into my room and hear my phone go off again.

Sarah is already here. Someone here has been asking about you

I scrunch my nose before hitting the call button. I grab my keys and make my way out the house, locking up while waiting for Nattie to pick up.

"It's not who you think either," Nattie says as she answers.

"One second," I say as I get in my car and turn it on, quickly switching my phone to the car speakers. "Okay, so who is it?"

"Nic(Dolph Ziggler). He's not asking about you in like a flirty way, but he does want to see you."

I laugh as I start making my way to Austin's. "I miss Dolphin."

Now she laughs. "Dolphin? Oh I love that! You're on your way?"

"Yeah, I'll be there shortly. Don't tell Nic, I want to surprise him."

Nattie laughs again. We say our goodbyes and hang up. Shortly after, I'm turning onto Austin's road. I park on the side of the road, and turn off the car. I sigh before I get my phone and make my way to the backyard where it seems like everyone is. I spot Nattie talking to Nic on the swing and smile before I make my way over there. Nattie spots me and starts distracting Nic to help me sneak up on him.

"I just think that it's great," Nic tells her as I get right behind him.

"Think what's great?"

He jumps at my voice and turns. "Hey kiddo!" He gets up and gives me a hug. "We were talking about you." He motions for me to take his seat.

"Talking about me," I ask as I sit down.

"How it's so cool that you're still somehow as sweet as you were when you first joined, now," Nattie pipes in.

I laugh. "And how you're doing amazing with your training," Nic says.

"Well thank you Nattie, Dolphin. Being here is the start I needed."

"Dolphin," Nic asks with a smile on his face.

I couldn't help the laugh that rang out.

It's been about an hour or so since I showed up. Our group by the swing has grown with Chris(Roderick Strong), Colby(Seth Rollins), Alexis(Alexa Bliss), Daria(Sonya Deville), and Sarah. I still somehow haven't seen the host of the night and I'm both happy about it but cautious about it.

"So did you ever think this is where you'd be," Colby asks me. Most of the group already knows my story, but Colby is a new addition to us.

"I think I secretly hoped, if that makes sense." A few people nod. "Ballet has been my life from a very young age, but wrestling was always something I had watched and enjoyed. Right now, I'm getting the best of both worlds. Getting to bring my ballet into my wrestling… I love it. Not only that, but the bonds I'm building. This is the beginning I so desperately needed."

Chatter arounds us resumes and I rest my head on Nic's shoulder. By no means is anything romantic present between Nic and I… he's more like a brother than anything and I'm very thankful for him.

"Webster!" I groan internally as I pick my head off Nic's shoulder, looking at Austin as he makes his way over. I get up and make my way to him, so he doesn't cut off any conversation between the group. "How long have you been here?"

"Oh, about an hour or so." I shrug as we start walking around the backyard. "I saw Nattie and immediately wanted to catch up with her and Nic." He nods

"Wasn't sure if I should expect you or not," he says. "I saw Sarah and thought you guys came together. Once I saw it was just her, I didn't know if you were coming or not."

I nodded as I looked at some wild flowers that were sprouting. "I wasn't sure myself, honestly. Sarah and I had a girl's day and we caught up. After that I was a bit tired. We heard Nattie was here…" I shrug before looking back at him. "Nattie and Nic are good friends of mine. I don't get to see them so I wanted to catch up with them also." His eyes won't quite meet mine. "Austin?"

He sighs before finally meeting my gaze. "I'm sorry about the other night. I went about that the wrong way." I chuckle and he raises an eyebrow. "What? Why are you laughing?"

I laugh a little more before finally catching my breath and clearing my throat. "Sorry, I don't mean to laugh. You apologize a lot, you know that right? Austin, there's no need to be sorry. What did I say to you at the batting cages?"

"I don't remember, honestly." He looks away

I laugh again. "I told you sometimes you gotta just swing." His eyes meet mine. "I wasn't talking about just baseball."

I make my way back to Nic and them, leaving Austin speechless.

Another hour has passed by and our group has dispersed a little. I pick my head off Nic's shoulder, and check my phone. I put it back in my back pocket before laying my head back down on Nic's shoulder.

"How ya doing kiddo," Nic asks, nudging me with his shoulder.

"I'm tired but I'm happy," I tell him as I look up to him.

"You doing better than when we first talked?"

I look around the backyard a bit, head still on his shoulder. "I think I'm more confused."

I lift my head from his shoulder and he wraps an arm around my shoulders. "Talk to me, kiddo."

"So that guy I thought had an interest in me, kissed me." Nic's face turns into one of shock. "Yeah, that pretty much sums up how I feel. But there's more. I think that someone else also has feelings for me and I'm now unsure how I feel about them."

Nic grimaces for a moment before nodding. "That's a tough situation." I nod. "Okay do you have feelings for the guy who kissed you?"

"I think I might, yeah. Like, I'm still trying to work out like… myself after what happened with Jared." I see Nic nod. "Like… I don't think I still have feelings for him, but I do still think about it a lot. Which, I mean, I guess that's normal all things considered. But I do think that'd be unfair to this guy."

Nic nods again. "You spend time with both these guys?"

I can't help but shrug. "I spend more time with one than the other, but I talk to them both daily, and a lot."

"Sure." He pauses. "But, do you feel closer to one than the other?"

I pause. "Yeah, I guess so. I mean, I don't know." Nic starts to grin as I get flustered. "I am closer to one of them, yeah. But does that really mean anything?"

"I'm gonna answer your question with another question. Why are you closer to that one guy?"

"Because… " I sigh "Because I felt a pull to him the day I met him," I say quietly as I come to that realization.

"Kiddo, I think you just answered some of your own feelings."

It's been a few hours, and the sun has set. Most of the people have left, but the remaining few are grouped up throughout the backyard. All that's left of us is myself, Austin, Sarah, Nic, Chris, Kyle, Bobby, Nattie, and Daria. Nattie, Daria, and Nic are together near the fire pit, Chris and Bobby are by the grill, Austin and Kyle are together on the stairs of the porch, and Sarah & I are on the swing.

"Do you regret coming out tonight," Sarah asks after a long silence.

"I don't think so, no." I look to her. "I've talked to everyone I wanted to, I got to catch up with people." I look around the backyard. "These people are family now."

Silence falls again. Sarah clears her throat before stomping, gaining the attention of everyone.

"I'd like to make a toast to something Abigail just said. The people in this yard right now, you guys have become important to not just myself, but to her also. You guys have given us bonds, and advice, and support as we make our journeys to join you guys. May it be in NXT, RAW or SmackDown. You guys might not be blood, but you are family. So… to family."

"To family," we all cheer.

Chatter slowly starts to pick back up throughout the backyard, but I tune it out as I think back to what my mom told me.

I sat down on my bed at my new house in Florida. I told my mom what happened, and she supported the choice I made. Hell, she encouraged it. I took in a deep breath, slowly releasing it. The past few weeks have been rough and heart-breaking to me and I'm scared it's only going to get worse now that I'm alone.

My phone starts ringing with my mom's ringtone. I get up and run to answer my phone.

"Hi mom!"

"Hi Abby. You like the house?"

"I love it. But it's only one bed. I thought you were coming here?" I already knew the answer.

"You need a new beginning, my love. You have had your heart shattered in more than one way recently. It is time for you to rebuild yourself. It is time for you to truly spread your wings and fly, darling. And I can't be there when you do. You will meet new people here, you will form bonds unlike any other bonds you have ever had. You will fall in love again, both with your career and a new partner. You will do so much. You will do more than you ever imagined, my love. They won't be your biological family, but they will be family nonetheless. It's time."

I sigh. "Thanks mom, for always supporting me."

She chuckles. "My love, I'd give you the world if I could."

I sigh, laying my head on Sarah's shoulder. When I say this is a new beginning… I feel connected to my mother again. I don't get to talk to her that much now that we're so far apart. But, without her I wouldn't be growing in the ways I am.

I look around the backyard, eyes lingering on each person.

This… is home now.

A/N: This feels like a good stopping point for this chapter. We will be doing a big time skip soon here, and that's just to progress multiple storylines quicker.
