Three Zones and a Baby
This episode of Gen Three's World Tour is brought to you by Fresh TV, owners of Total Drama.
"Last time, on Total Drama World Tour." Chris opened up the episode. "We had some mechanical difficulties, and ended up in hot water Jamacia style!" The clip of the plane crashing into the hotel was shown. "Chef had to take care of the episode after that, and the contestants had a bobsled longboarding race when Ella won thanks to a bunch of birds, and Sky lost in both ways!" The clip changed to Chris sitting by a cardboard box. "With only ten contestants left, it's about to come down to the wire! Find out what happens next on:

The shot opened up to a sunflower shining on the beach, being watered by a watering can. "I didn't take you for a gardener." Jasmine could be heard saying.
The one gardening the flowers was actually Shawn, who put the can away. "Yeah, gardening is relaxing. It's a nice responsibility outside of fearing for the apocalypse."
"That reminds me." Jasmine thought. "When I win the million, I'm gonna open a flower shop fighting ring! It's my dream, and it would be pretty awesome!"

Shawn was laughing in the confessional. "A flower shop fighting ring? That's the craziest thing I've ever heard!"
XXX
"Yeah, I suppose that'd be a good idea." Shawn lied. "I'm sure I could be great at both the planting and the fighting!"
"Exactly." Jasmine stated. "As serious as it is, it's best to enjoy our lives for what it's at right now."
"Yeah, this morning I did some scavenging for food." Shawn bragged. "Want some tree bark?"
"Uh, no thanks I'm good." Jasmine denied.

"I'm starting to think Shawn might be serious about the whole zombie thing." Jasmine confessed. "Scratch that, he is serious about it. Even then, it's still funny."
XXX
"Enjoy our lives?" Dave said from behind them. "How can I enjoy my life when my current life right now is misery?!"
"When did you get here?" Shawn asked. "Besides, we've only been here for like, a day, mellow out."
"You wouldn't be saying that if somebody you loved rejected you for another guy." Dave stormed off elsewhere, leaving an impact on the conversation.
"Huh." Jasmine watched him leave. "Neat."

The scene flashed, and the footage changed to Amy cuddling up on Alejandro's chest. "Amy dearest." Alejandro attempted to move. "It's almost brunch, you think we should-"
"Shush." Amy said. "Let me enjoy this."
Alejandro rolled his eyes. "Alright, but we really should be going."

"With Sky gone, I can focus on my new priority: Amy." Alejandro admits. "Though it is also important for me to get in the way of Samey for her unadmitted attraction for Topher."
XXX
Seconds later, a knock was heard on the door. "Amy please! This is my room too!" Sammy pounded again. "I need to get my stuff, Chris said we'll be leaving soon."
"Buzz off Samey!" Amy shouted. "Stay out of my room and get your own!"
"Ah yes, I too have an annoying sibling." Alejandro reflected. "I can't stand my brother Jose, to be frank, I don't even want to talk about him."
"I know right?" Amy replied. "Younger siblings are the worst!"
"Actually, he's my older brother." He corrected."
"Oh you poor thing!" Amy changed her mood. "It must suck to be bullied by somebody you're supposed to look up to."

"She can't be serious right?" Alejandro questioned.
XXX
"Of course I'm just joking." Amy stated. "I don't care that Samey is supposed to 'look up to me' or something, I'm just trying to get Alejandro to like me back, even if my methods are a little flawed."

It was nearing the afternoon, and Topher was hanging out by some pool area taking a drink from a soda can. Suddenly, Beardo appeared behind him. "Yo Tophu, can I ask you something?"
"First of all, it's Topher." Chris Jr. corrected. "Second, only my friends call me nicknames."
"I've never heard anybody call you something other than Topher."
"Quiet." Topher shushed him. "Third, why are you talking to me all of a sudden?"
Beardo scratched the back of his head. "Well, I've been wanting to know more about this Scarlett person. I figured that since you guys are on the same team you'd know a bit about her."
"Sweet!" Topher cheered. "Some actual drama around here! But uh, no. I only really pay attention to myself so I haven't gathered much of an opinion around her."
"Ok, I understand." Beardo replied. "I take it you're some sort of introvert like me?"
"You could say that." Topher said, adjusting his sunglasses. "I'm only really concerned with myself because that's what Chris does and uh… hey wait, why am I telling you this? I don't even know you all that well!" The impersonator threw his soda behind him and waltzed off to the hotel.
"Well that was unexpected." Beardo said to himself. Moments later, Chef tapped him on the shoulder.
"Chris told me to hand these out to y'all." Chef explained, handing Beardo a slip of paper. "It basically tells you that the challenge will be starting soon and to meet him by the beach, it's a long note but I'm just telling you this because I'm sure many of you can't read."
"Wow, how kind of you." Beardo said sarcastically.
"Don't have lip with me." Chef threatened him. "You're lucky I like the quiet ones." He walked off, as Beardo shuddered with fear.
Once he was done shivering, Beardo quietly walked down to the beach, but quickly tripped over something. "Watch it you- I mean, hello Beardo." Scarlett stood up.
"Huh?" Beardo looked up. "Why were you in that bush?"
"I like taking notes on nature." Scarllet lied.

"I already know all I need to know about nature." Scarlett explained. "I was actually taking notes on my competition and observing how they interact with others, but he doesn't need to know that."

"I couldn't help but overhear though, why were you talking to Topher about me?" The brainiac asked. "You could've just asked me directly, you know? I'm happy to share."
"Well I couldn't find you because you're so darn sneaky." The human soundboard wiped a few leaves from his shirt and pants.
Scarlett shrugged. "This is off topic, but we should for sure be reporting to the beach by now. We can still chat on the way though."
"Ok good, because I have a lot of things to say." Beardo started walking.

Beardo scratched his head. "Scarlett is a weird one, that's for sure."

"Ok, so I'm sure you're all wondering what we're doing for the challenge, and why I'm even here in the first place!" Chris started up on the beach.
"Yes actually." Dave crossed his arms. "Get to it already."
"I was going to do that Dave." Chris rolled his eyes. "Now, it turns out the mayor in this town is a huge fan of Total Drama! Dude was wearing a shirt with Dawn's face on it when I got there."
"Creepy." Jasmine shuttered blankly.
"Eh, didn't concern me much." Chris shrugged. "Thankfully, the two of us are homeslices now, so my punishment is just a little bit of community service."
Chef gasped. "Coke on Chris! I thought we were bros!"
Chris crossed his arms and avoided eye contact. "We are, it's just, not as much as before is all." Steam came out of Chef's ears as he stormed off. "Anywho." Chris brushed the problem off. "The community service I'm given is a whole lot of babies to babysit! That's where today's challenge comes in. Three zones and a baby."
Topher rolled his eyes. "Wow, really creative with that one. Let me guess, three zones and a baby?"
"Nope." Chris stated. "There's babies, as in plural." He pointed to a small whiteboard he pulled from his shirt. "Here's the deal, teams will have to race through three danger zones with a baby in their arms. Each zone has three things in common too, the noisier you are, the more danger you'll be put in."

"Area number one is the shark supper." The scene flashed to a beach with many land sharks around it supposedly the ones from the last challenge. "It's a beach full of, well… beached up sleeping sharks. Wake one up, and you're supper!"
"But they're sleeping." Shawn reminded. "It's gonna be hard to wake those suckers up."
"Yeah." Chris realized. "There's rattle snakes too though, so that's an extra part of the challenge."
"Aren't rattlesnakes very poisonous?" Jasmine asked.
"Don't worry your pretty little head, they've been diluted." Chris reassured. "It'll feel like a sight pinch, nothing bad at all."

"The pasta blasta!" Chris announced, showing an area of a very empty beach. "Make a noise around here, and a blindfolded Chef will attempt to shoot you with his spaghetti gun. Simple as that."
"Pff, pasta can't kill anybody." Shawn taunted.
"Sure, it can't, but it does burn a lot." Chris answered. "Wouldn't want to give a baby third degree burns would you?"

"That's just called Tuesday for me." Sammy morbidly joked.

"The last phase of the challenge is crossing the sandvolange zone!" The camera panned across another area, looking like a mountain covered in sand. "Don't get too loud, or else the sand will come down and crush ya!"

"That's about it really." Chris finished off. "So, is there any questions before we start?"
Shawn raised his hand. "Hello, I was wondering if-"
"No Shawn, the babies are not zombies." Chris answered.
"That's not what I was gonna ask but ok." The conspiracy theorist grunted.
Scarlett also raised her hand. "Excuse me, but I'd really like to know who's parents these babies belong to before we handle them."
"Yeah, I wanted to know that too." Jasmine replied. "I highly doubt they offered their children up for this show."
Sammy thought about Jasmine's response. "Jasmine, could you think about that sentence again?"
"They're from the local orphanage." Chris stated. "This is like a field trip for the kiddies, it'll be fun!"
Jasmine rolled her eyes. "Whatever you say."
"Oh, and one more thing." Chris reminded himself. "I'll be honest, I kinda expected one of your teams to lose focus and all be eliminated by now. Therefore, the upcoming challenges are designed around the two team system. Which means, I'm merging you guys into two!"
"What?!" Alejandro cried. "Uh, I mean, what a wonderful idea!"

"I was so close to just breezing my way to the merge." Alejandro stated. "Dave would've made a perfect ally."
XXX
Ella hugged her two teammates greatly. "Oh, I'll miss working with your two, you were the best of friends!"
Sammy hugged her back. "Yeah, me too!"
Amy simply moved out of the hug. "Yeah, that's the thing." She crossed her arms. "I was actually thinking that we could work better without teams, hopefully that's you two."
Ella wiped a tear. "Well, that's ok. As long as you're good with that."
Shawn held his hand out to a few of his teammates. "Well it's been a good run, some of us are gonna have to split our separate ways."
"Although it would be nice for us to all stay, I'm sure we'll be split in half." Jasmine stated.
"If it is chosen by a wheel, the probability of us staying together for two teams is very low." Scarlett told them.
"I just hope me, Shawn, and Jasmine are all on the same team still." Topher added. "We could easily avoid elimination that way."
Alejandro frowned over at Team Victory. "You know what you two? I'm gonna miss you amigos if we're split up."
"Yeah, same to you too, even if we didn't know each other." Beardo explained.
Dave huffed. "Yeah well good riddance you loonies."
"Dave, I thought we were friends." Beardo stated.
The pessimist just groaned. "A real friend would've done what I say."
"Alright! You guys could stop saying your goodbyes now!" Chris yelled. "If I say your name, go stand over there." He pointed to the left.

"Samey."

"Amy."
/
"Scarlett."
/
"Jasmine."
/
"Topher."
"From now on, you'll be known as the Killer Tourists!" Chris announced, as Topher stood by the group of girls.
"Uh, Chris, don't the genders here seem a bit imbalanced?" Topher asked.
"And why am I still by Samey?" Amy demanded. "This is terrible!"
Jasmine stepped behind her. "I hope you don't have a problem with that."
Amy shuddered. "No, not much."

"I'm already liking having Jasmine on my team!" Sammy smiled. "I feel like we haven't talked all that much, we have some catching up to do." She then blushed and tucked her hair behind her ear. "And, Topher too, a little."
XXX
"Chris, I don't think you exactly thought this through." Alejandro stated. "The entirety of Team Chris is on one team still."
"I never said I'd split all of you up." Chris laughed. "And if I did, I was lying." He then pointed to the right. "The rest of you stand over there."

"Alejandro."

"Dave."
/
"Beardo."
/
"Shawn."
/
"Ella."
/
"All of you guys and the gal are on Team Chris is Really Really Really Really Hot!" Chris announced.
"What?!" Dave wined. "That's just the same name we've already had!"
"I know." Chris acknowledged. "I just liked it so much that I kept it."
"This is all fine and dandy, but we should probably get to the challenge by now." Topher stated.
"You're right." Chris said. "Interns, release the babies!"
"Roger that." One of the interns said. The camera panned upward to a hot air balloon carrying ten babies that the interns cut off for each of the characters to catch one of them.

"There's no way that's legal!" Sammy exclaimed.

"I am excellent with infants." Alejandro bragged. "Just the sight of me alone makes them stop crying."
XXX
Amy caught her baby with severe distaste. "Ugh, I'm not changing some soiled nappy you know?"
"Shhh!" Chris demanded. "They're sleeping, and you really don't want to wake them up."
Amy sighed. "Who's my little angel? You are, stay in the sleepy little sky for Amy!" She said in a soft voice.
Her other three team members started to chuckle. "Never took you for somebody so delicate Amy." Jasmine taunted.
Amy rolled her eyes. "I mean, uh, your burps aren't cute kid, yeah."
Chris raised up the air horn and blew it quickly and quietly. "Go." He whispered.

Team Chris was tiptoeing through the shark supper field, when Beardo suddenly stepped on a shell, which awoke the sharks and rattlesnakes for a moment before they fell back asleep. "Few." Beardo wiped his brow. "That was a close one."
"Zip it!" Dave whispered loudly. "Even the slightest noise will make us fish food!"
"Amigos, I do think it's not important to fret over the smallest of problems." Alejandro told them. "If we work together, we won't have these issues."
"Oh Alejandro, you're so brave." Ella cooed.

On another side of the shark supper, Sammy was trying her best to avoid the rattlesnakes before being grabbed by Jasmine. "Ah!" She yelled in surprise.
"Ok, here's the plan." Jasmine said in front of her teammates. "We maintain a lead on them, and then wake up everything once we've passed, so they'll have to deal with the sharks. All in?"
"Sounds good." Scarlett agreed.
"Great plan!" Topher complimented. "I am worried about Shawn though, isn't he our friend?"
"Shawn's very athletic, I'm sure he'll be fine." Jasmine stated.
The camera panned over to Shawn, as Chris narrated over what was happening. "It seems Shawn is in a very dangerous spot right now." Chris mentioned. A snake came up behind him, and Shawn grabbed it by the head and flung it into the ocean. "Could these be the last moments of his sad sad life?"
"Yeah, that's true." Topher realized.
"Coke on Topher!" Sammy grabbed his hand. "We'll be able to do this challenge together and win!"
Topher shrugged. "True, winning is everything and all." Just then, a rattlesnake bit Topher in the butt, making him run off. He could scream, but not out loud.
"Topher wait!" Sammy called out, grabbing the snake by the tail and ripping it off, only to throw it behind her. "Come on, we gotta go!"

"I'm starting to notice something about these challenges." Topher stated. "They're a lot more messed up when you're the one who has to participate in them."
XXX
Meanwhile, a shark stood up and growled at Alejandro, before he put his hand on his head and started petting him. "Why hello there you beautiful sea creature, you must be pretty hungry aren't ya?" The Spaniard affectionately petted him. "Your eyes are so majestic, they rival those of that crab." He pointed to the left where a crab was walking by. The shark got angry and ran over to the crab, Alejandro simply walked away.

"Ok, we're almost out." Jasmine stated. "Just a couple more yards to go."
"I know right!" Sammy said a little too loud. "That kiss at the end of the movie was so romantic."
The reason she was talking too loud was because of Topher. "Exactly! I have no idea why people don't seem to be interested in it when the writing is brilliant!"
Suddenly, the shark next to them stood up and glared menacingly at them. "This isn't good." Jasmine stated.
"Oh come on." Topher complained. "You could at least give a reason as to why."
Sammy tapped Topher on the shoulder. "Topher, you might wanna look at this."
Topher turned over to the shark and went pale. "Uh, maybe we do get a little excited over stuff we like."

Watching from a hot air balloon up above, Chris laughed a lot. "Will the Killer Tourists be eliminated from the challenge? Or will they be eliminated from existence? Perhaps they could somehow escape the kings of the ocean! Find out soon on:

So, you're probably wondering why I released this chapter as a demo. Well, turns out, essentially working nonstop on a project since February really burns you out you know? I've been wanting to focus more on some other pieces of work, one that isn't related to Total Drama at all and another thats based on another fanfiction, but that's uploaded to my Reddit, u/Shronut.
Now, this whole writing thing is honestly really awesome, I've done better writing projects in English classes and all that. It's also kinda surreal at the same time, one person said Gen Two's Action is the best fic they've read in a while, another said they've read my fanfic twice, and another is really invested in the development.
The reviews I get from this stuff is always a joy, because you have to remember that it's not just fanfiction, it's fiction, it's writing. Remember, this fanfiction isn't going anywhere, it's not cancelled or anything, it's just taking a break. If you just can't help yourself though and would love to know more about this thing, go ahead and follow me on my Reddit by u/Shronut, I'd be happy to share information (that doesn't involve spoilers) and facts about the project!
