The carriage ground to a halt just outside the building where Sam and the others were apparently being held. They had followed the tracks from the crime scene and they seemed to have stopped here. Murdoch was the first to jump out and had to be stopped by Brakenreid from going any further.
"Wait Murdoch! We can't just go in all guns blazing." Brakenreid advised his colleague.
Murdoch looked over to the building. He knew Brakenreid was right but he really wanted to just go in there.
"Alright but be quick. We don't have much time." Murdoch nodded over to the group gathered.
"Yes sir." The constable called back.
"So got a plan yet, Watts?" Murdoch asked the other detective who looked just as nervous as he did.
"Yeah totally. Just to make sure it works, that's all." Watts blatantly lied to Murdoch.
"Well make sure it does. I don't want anything to go wrong!" Brakenreid called over to them.
Watts nodded nervously. With both Murdoch and Brakenreid on edge about this whole thing, he had to be careful with what he said and did. He surveyed the area trying to work out this plan that he somehow had to come up with.

Miss James passed some water to Ruth. She had mostly stopped sobbing but still seemed to be in need of comfort. At least no one else was here to see this. Ruth smiled and took it from her. She was just thankful that someone was still here.
"Thank you. I bet I look like a complete idiot!" Ruth chuckled as she drank the water.
"I've seen worse. True, I work with dead bodies all day so…" Miss James joked.
"As long as you're not comparing me to a dead body."
"I would never do that!"
"How do you think the others are getting on? I mean do you think the case will go right?" Ruth asked, even though she knew she might not get a coherent answer.
"I'm sure they'll do fine. They'll find Henry." Miss James tried to keep a kind face.
Ruth sobbed a little when Miss James mentioned Henry's name. Blimey the slightest thing could set her off! Miss James would have to be very careful. Miss James sat down next to Ruth and carefully put her arm around Ruth's shoulders. The door then opened with Julia on the other side. She smiled when she saw Miss James and Ruth together.
"Anything from the boys yet?" Julia asked, walking over to them.
"Not yet." Miss James shook her head seeing that Ruth couldn't really talk right now.
"I saw Detective Murdoch go with them. Is he alright?" Ruth said between sobs.
"He said he was." Julia shrugged.
"Did the doctor agree with him?" Miss James felt the urge to ask.
"Yes he did." Julia nodded trying to keep the truth hidden.
Miss James narrowed her eyes. She couldn't definitely tell whether Juila was lying or not but would go with the answer she had given her. She would have a word with Detective Murdoch later though if that wasn't true.

The radio still hadn't made any noise and the whole room sat silent. No one wanted to say something just in case the water level rose anymore. The radio must have picked up what they were saying. Otherwise, this was a whole con. True as they were up against villains, then they wouldn't be surprised.
"Somebody say something?" Higgins finally begged the group.
"You just did. Anyway we've discussed the case, what else is there to talk about?" Pendrick answered him.
"Pendrick don't be so coarse!" Sam almost begged him.
"Do you think they heard us?" Crabtree strained.
"I'm sure they did. They wouldn't play games with us, they wouldn't dare." Myers shook his head with his best spy voice.
"You don't know them." Higgins sighed.
Higgins was right. Only him and Crabtree really knew who they were up against. Sam, Myers and especially Pendrick hadn't bumped into any of the women. How would they know how to fight them?! They would have to find out more about them if they were going to.
"What were their cases like? What were they put away for?" Sam asked, hoping Higgins would answer.
"They're horrible, I remember that much!" Higgins shuddered.
"Henry! They're not that bad." Crabtree smirked in Sam's direction.
"One of them killed people with an axe. The other is obsessed with dolls and the other has three different people to deal with!" Higgins counted out on his fingers.
"True. As long as they're behind that door though I'm not too worried." Crabtree shrugged.
"That bad huh?" Sam smirked.
"You don't know the half of it!" Henry shuddered once more.
Sam kept back chuckling at Henry's reactions. At least he was making the best of a bad situation. Myers definitely wasn't up to that and Pendrick didn't look much fun either. The radio then crackled as the water started to move more and more.
"That's not good." Pendrick sighed.
"So you think you've solved the case huh?" A voice that almost sounded like a girl's voice boomed.
"Don't say anything!" Myers put his hand over Higgins mouth.
"Maybe we should just let you out and let you take us back to the station."
The whole group knew this wasn't going to happen but still had a little hope this may happen.
"Like we're going to do that." The voice continued.
The water then began to move again. Only slightly but enough to worry everyone. If it got any higher then they might have to swim for it. Sam grabbed the table even more tighter than usual. She was not going to fall off whatever it took to stay on!
"We'll have to talk about it a bit more but I'm sure we won't keep you waiting." The radio then crackled off again leaving the room to think over what it had just said.
"I'm sure they won't!" Higgins said, moving Myers' hand from his mouth.
Sam looked down at the ground. She really wanted to show everyone that she could solve the case on her own and now she was messing everything up! She was sure Higgins, Crabtree and Pendrick wouldn't say that but she wasn't going to say that to Myers. If she did then, he would just agree with her.
"You're quiet." Crabtree whispered to Sam so the others couldn't hear them.
"I've messed everything up." Sam whispered back.
"Why do you think that? You haven't done anything wrong." Crabtree tried to cheer her up.
"We're in this mess because of me."
The rest of the group looked up from their own conversations. They just about managed to hear that coming from Sam. Myers kept himself out of it with his arms folded. He was sure none of them would want to hear from him.
"Would you stop thinking that?!" Pendrick patted Sam on the back.
"Only if it wasn't true." Sam shrugged.
The group gathered together as much as they could. Sam needed all the help she could get right now. Crabtree then suddenly thought.
"Who was the one who just solved the case? Who put everything together with all of the links?" Crabtree mentioned looking at the others.
"Yeah, we wouldn't have put everything together without you." Higgins supported what Crabtree said.
"We're in this mess because the people involved in this case wanted us here. That crash would have happened either way." Pendrick continued their thinking.
Sam smiled a little when they had all said this. Even Myers was nodding a little. That was the biggest surprise! Sam had known she had this team behind her from the beginning but it was nice to know she still had their support. The crash had brought them here, not herself.

Murdoch, Watts and Brakenreid slowly entered the building. Watts was apparently in charge as he apparently had a plan. Murdoch was still very on the fence whether he did or not but they would just have to go with it.
"Maybe we should split up." Watts suggested nearly running out of ideas of what to do next.
Before the other two could answer him, they heard muffled voices coming from a room nearby. Murdoch put a finger up to his mouth and walked towards the room. They didn't know what they were up against but they had to be prepared for anything.
"Be careful Murdoch." Brakenreid hissed as they got closer.
"Don't worry sir. I will be." Murdoch agreed, keeping an eye on Watts as he went towards the door handle.
"You ready?" Watts mouthed.
Murdoch took a deep breath. He had already faced off with this gang before and ended up on the wrong side. He didn't want that again. He nodded at Watts and got ready for a fight.
