Finally, the ride started off fun and ended off unwanted. Anyways this is the last hope you enjoy for this story!
The Paw Patrol relaxed in the living room of the lookout for the first time in what seems like an eternity.
It has been 9 months since the whole saving the world thing and the media has backed off. Ryder sipped his coffee while Katie prepared some nice steaks for everyone. Chase and Tracker were having a friendly competition to see who could hear better. Chase stood no chance.
Today also marked the first day Sweetie visited the Paw Patrol after they've visited Barkingburg multiple times. Which they've met many new faces over there.
Chase managed to stay in contact with Sylvia after the ordeal and Ryder convinced Chase to invite her to the lookout since today would be the day where there has been the most amount of girls. Ryder also had a offer for Sylvia and Sweetie.
Rocky never got the chance to spend much time with Sweetie, she was quickly taken upstairs by the other girls.
"Last one out is a rotten egg!" Marshall playfully called out and ran to the back door.
All of the boys took to a rope and chose teams.
Ryder smiled as things seemed like they were finally back to normal for the Paw Patrol.
Ding!
Ryder assumed it could only be one person. He walked to the back door. "Chase! Someone is here!"
Chase hesitated before deciding to let the rope go and let his team down.
He opened the door and saw Sylvia holding a basket in her mouth. "You actually came! Didn't think you'd show." Chase said moving out of the way to let her in. She placed the basket on a close coffee table. "This can be considered a business trip too." She added.
Chase wasn't sure what to say. "So...do you wanna meet the boys or the girls first? There's another newbie here." Chase asked.
"Girls fosho." She replied.
Chase nodded and walked up the stairs. "You guys live in a nice home." Sylvia complimented and looked around at the many medals. Swimming, Herding, Aviation, honor, and more.
Chase stopped at the brown wooden door. "Skye! It's Chase." Chase called out.
Chase looked back to Sylvia. "I'll just leave you with them. I'm pretty sure you can beat them all up if they try anything...besides the husky. She might give you a run for your money." Chase informed.
Sylvia raised an eyebrow with the strange info. "What do y-who's this?!" Skye said excitedly opening the door all the way for the others to see.
Chase looked through the big group of girls. "Hello, Everyone. This is Sylvia. I trained with her. Not sure you all remember but she was there when we stopped the Syndicate." He turned to Sylvia. "I'm sure you can handle the rest."
Sylvia nodded and walked into the very "girly" room. She looked around and counted the others. "There's quite a few of us." She said.
"You and Sweetie just arrived here." Skye said wagging her tail.
Sylvia nodded. "So what were y'all doing?"
3 hours later
Everyone sat down at a long oval table outside full from eating steak. "Everyone please listen." Ryder called out.
They all turned their gazes towards Ryder.
He reached for a bag and pulled out 2 small boxes that looked familiar to Chase and Rocky.
Rocky looked for Chases eyes. They both smiled as they knew who it was for.
Ryder took a sip of water. "So, I spoke to Sweetie and Sylvia before they came over here. I gave them the option to be free agents for the Paw Patrol. Clearly they have some connections already with some of you guys. So Rocky and Chase I would like you two to come up since you've done this before."
They both walked to the edge and looked inside each box in amazement.
"Sweetie, would you please come up." Ryder called out.
Rocky nervously looked at Chase. "No no you do it. You've see what to do." Chase smiled.
"Thanks." He whispered and grabbed the box with Sweeties name.
He tried to remember what to say. He decided to make up something close to last time.
Sweetie stood in front of him with a bright smile on her face. "As a representative of the Paw Patrol and part of thee uh... Recruitment team wink I stand here today to tell you that you are officially a member slash agent of the Paw Patrol." Rocky stated as he put the activator chip in the pup tag.
Ryder stepped forward. "I chose the Bishop symbol for her pup tag because it relates to Castles, but what most of you don't know is that Sweetie is quite intelligent and good strategist like Rocky." He looked for Sylvia.
"Sylvia would you please come up." Ryder called out.
Chase stood in front of Sylvia and saluted her. She saluted back. "As second in command of the Paw Patrol and part of the recruitment team, I'm proud to say that you are an agent of the Paw Patrol." Chase quickly said and pulled out a black dog tag with a detectives hat.
Ryder took it and put the activator chip in. Chase and Rocky held them waiting for Ryder to speak. "So now we have 2 more free lancers in the team. Also adding to the female count which should make the girls now equal to the girls...even though 3 of them don't live at the lookout." Ryder said.
Everyone else clapped and howled as Chase and Rocky attacked the tags to the brand new members of the Paw Patrol.
"Let's hope we never have to deal with anything big ever again." Ryder sighed.
Well I've finally completed this story to the very end. I know it's not much of an epilogue but I just decided to just put it away and end it off on a happy ending. More than half a year of in the making finally ended today.
I will release a different UNFINISHED epilogue that I decided to ditch.
