Richtofen Breaks the Cycle
Name: Richtofen
Series: Call of Duty
Series Symbol: Black Ops 3 Tally Marks
Boxing Ring Name: The Bringer of a Better Tomorrow
Weight: Med-Heavy
Speed: Average
Battle Intro: He is reading the Kronorium, before closing it and throwing it into a red and black portal that appears behind him.
Idle Animation: The Wind Staff in his hands releases some energy, causing his hair and clothes to shift around.
Up Taunt: He takes out his pistol (A Mauser C96) and aimes it upwards. He says, "Embrace your fate, begin anew."
Side Taunt: He extends his arms outward. "I suppose you're here to kill me too?" He then jabs a thumb behind him. "You're going to have to get in line."
Down Taunt: He spins the Wind Staff around. "I know my future, you barely feature."
Costume:
Default Costume: His Primis Outfit.
Alt 1: His chainmail armor from the ending Revelation cutscene. Called "Great War Richtofen."
Alt 2: Primis Clothes, but the vest is a dark brown, shirt is a dark grey, and the pants are an olive drab. His hair is brown as opposed to his black. (Based on Tank Dempsey)
Alt 3: Great War outfit, but the cloth is black, and the symbol has a red outline. Black hair. (Based on the Keepers)
Alt 4: Primis clothes. Vest is dark green, but the shirt is dark grey. Pants are black. Hair is brown. (Based on Nikolai)
Alt 5: Great War outfit. Cloth is green, but the symbol is red. Hair is grey. (Based on Dr. Monty)
Alt 6: Primis Clothes. Red shirt, with Green vest. Pants are navy blue. Hair is black. (Based on Takeo)
Alt 7: Primis Clothes. He looks extremely low quality. (Last Gen Richtofen)
Kirby Hat: Wind Staff on his back.
Regular Moves:
Jab: Knife Swing (Similar to Roy/Chrom, but faster and less range)
Up Tilt: Swings knife in a wide arc above his head.
Forward Tilt: He stabs with his knife. If it fails, it has a good chunk of end lag. The attack pierces shields. If it hits, he will rip the knife out, doing a good amount of damage. The second hit can only be done if the first connects.
Down tilt: Slice with his knife.
Dash Attack: Slides like in bo3/4.
Ledge Attack: Swing with his knife, while pulling himself up.
Getup Attack: He fires his Mouser behind and in front of him, as he gets up. (His down animation is him on his back, like how players are when they go down and need to be revived.)
Smash Attacks
Forward Smash: Swings staff upwards (think of it as Toon Link's but a bit slower and stronger).
Down Smash: He points his staff downward, before pulling the trigger. Wind bursts around him.
Up Smash: He points the staff upward, before pulling the trigger, causing a tornado to appear around him.
Aerial Attacks
Neutral Aerial: He swings his knife in front of him, before slashing behind him.
Forward Aerial: He spins forward, swinging his staff overhead.
Back Aerial: He fires his staff behind him, sending him forward. (Similar to Corrin's Back Air)
Down Aerial: He takes out his Ragnarok DG-4 and slams them downward. He rises a bit before falling at rapid speed. Will carry opponents with him until he hits the ground or falls to the blast zone. Landing will cause a shockwave that knocks opponents back a fair amount.
If Ragnarok is not available, he will do a non-damaging aerial roll.
Up Aerial: He stabs upwards with his knife. Weak, but it's quick.
Throws
Grab: Reaches out with his left hand.
Pummel: Shoots Mouser into the target with his right hand.
Forward Throw: He pushes the opponent in front of him, before shooting them in the head with his pistol.
Back Throw: He slips behind his opponent, before firing his Wind Staff at them. It can hit multiple enemies.
Down Throw: He fires a round into their leg, forcing them to the ground, before shooting them in the head.
Up Throw: He slams his Ragnarok's down, sending them up at an angle. This also hits multiple enemies.
If Ragnarok is not available, he will instead kick them away from him. Very weak and little launching power.
Specials
Neutral Special: Der Wunderfizz
He summons a random Perk-a-Cola. They cannot be cancelled, and he has to go through all of the colas before everything gets "restocked" (similar to how gobblegums are in Bo3, if you need a comparison).
Losing a stock also restocks his colas.
Each drink has a 12 second timer.
Juggernog: This increases his defense by 25%, launch resistance by 50%, and shield duration by 75%.
Speed Cola: Increases action speed by 30% (including attack speed, attack end lag, and how fast attacks charge up)
Staminup: Increases his aerial speed by 25%, roll speed, distance by 30% (same values apply to air dodging), and his movements speed by 50%
Ethereal Razer: Doubles damage done by the knife. (If copied by Kirby, this increases the damage of his Cutter. Only the blade, however.)
Winter's Wail: Defensive Perk. Every second attack in a combo will cause a burst of ice, forcing the attacker back, freezing at high percentages. Max: 3
PhD Flopper: Projectiles are rejected back at the assailant. Also, a small explosion happens when he lands from a high altitude. Also causes explosions when using his dash attack.
Teddy Bear Tonic: A debuff drink, causing the user to:
Receive 15% more damage
Get launched 1.25 times farther
Deal 30% less damage
50% slower movement speed
Decrease aerial speed by 25%
Decrease dodge range and speed by 30%
Preform actions 20% slower
Shield is 50% less durable and drains faster
Side Special: G-Strike
He primes and throws a G-Strike at his opponent in an arc. If it lands, it will deal a small amount of damage and stay stuck to them for 8 seconds. Afterwards, they will be shot by an explosive, dealing heavy damage and launching them.
If it hits the stage, it'll stick to it and detonate after 8 seconds.
If it falls into the blast zone, it will be unusable for 10 seconds. The timer starts when it reaches the blast zone, not when it is thrown.
Once it is thrown, his side special will do nothing until it explodes.
After landing/hitting an opponent, there is a 10 second cool down.
The explosive can do friendly fire, if he's too close, even if it wasn't reflected.
The fuse starts when the G-Strike lands, not when it is thrown.
Up Special: Purge Shot
He presses a button on his belt, charging up the attack. When released, or when at maximum charge. He will be shot upward very quickly. He can still act out of it, but he cannot use it again until he hits the ground or grabs the ledge. If he is hit, he will not have access to it.
At Minimum charge, it will launch from the bottom of FD (the stage itself) to the ledge.
At max charge, it will send from the edge of the FD blast zone, to slightly above the stage.
On the ground, this has a weak hitbox that pushes enemies away.
Down Special: Graviton Surge
He slams his DG-4 into the ground, placing a trap. Anyone who gets near it will be forced into the air and will also take continuous damage. It also causes them to flinch every half second. The trap lasts 10 seconds, before turning off.
Richtofen has to retrieve the DG-4. Without them, he cannot perform his Down Aerial, his Up Throw, or his Down Special.
Once they've been picked up, they have a 20 second cooldown.
Cooldown resets upon losing a stock, and getting a K.O. will knock 5 seconds off of the timer.
Cannot be used in the air.
Final Smash: Primis Lives!
He will call a member of Primis to aid him, as he raises the Summoning Key. A large hitbox will grab the opponent (it is between the size of Megaflare and Gigaflare's explosion). Getting caught in it will cause one of three different attacks to play, depending on who's name is called.
Only one opponent can be caught in it, however. If multiple are hit, the closest will get hit by the cinematic. Others will take less damage (at most, 20%)
Primis's outfits will change, depending on if he is in his Primis clothes, Great War outfit, or "Last Gen" Richtofen outfit.
Dempsey!:
Tank Dempsey will run into the opponent in the Mark 4 Tank (from Origins), sending them upward. He will then jump and punch them away. "Nik, you're up!" He'll yell.
Nikolai will throw his axe at them, before catching up and launching them by removing the axe and swinging it. "Now, Takeo!"
Takeo then rushes them, swinging the Path of Sorrows. After a few slashes, he slashes the back of their heels. "Richtofen, finish this!"
Richtofen will then slash at the opponent's throat. It will instantly take a stock if they are at or above 115% after Richtofen slashes their throat. If not, they will be weakly launched. This also does the most damage of the three variants.
Nikolai!:
Nikolai will catch the opponent in a tornado of fire with his Hellfire Flamethrower. He will then rush the opponent, sending them back with the Blast Vent. "Takeo, your turn!"
The opponent will land and get slashed by an invisible Takeo three times. He will then rush with his Merciless Dash, becoming visible. After hitting the enemy, he'll yell, "Dempsey, show them your might!"
Dempsey will spray a load of bullets with Overkill, before pressing the Tactical Nuke button and throwing it into their hands. "Richtofen, send them flying!" He'll yell as it explodes.
When the opponent lands, Richtofen will jump towards them with his Ragnarok DG-4s. When he lands, they'll be sent flying. This has the most knockback of the three variants, but does the least damage. This can kill around 30%.
Takeo! (Primis clothes):
This last one has 2 variants. They do the same thing, but it looks different (think of it like Cloud's SOLDIER 1st Class's Omnislash vs his Advent Children Omnislash Version V). Last Gen Richtofen will use the Primis variant.
Takeo will slash twice, before turning around and stabbing them, shooting them with a C96, which forces them off. "Dempsey, you're up!"
Dempsey will then grab them and throw them to the ground. He will shoot them with explosive bullets from his Death and Taxes (his two MR6s), knocking them upwards, before sending them back with a hail of gunfire from his Dingo. "Now, Nik! Show em what ya got!"
Nikolai will blast them into the ground with his KRM-262, before grabbing them and throwing them up and shooting another shell, sending them away. "End this, German!"
Richtofen will jump on them and ride them down, shooting them with his pistol. After three shots, he will jump off of them.
Takeo! (Great War):
Takeo will blast the opponent with the Ice Staff twice, before trapping them in an ice storm that freezes them solid. "Dempsey, you're up!"
Dempsey will shatter the ice with a swing from his Lightning Staff, before zapping them four times, and sending them flying with a swing (which looks like a batter in baseball) "Nik, get a home run! Haha!"
The opponent will land, then Nikolai will pin them down with a boot to the chest. He will shoot his Fire Staff, before forcing them up and trapping them in a small volcano with the Fire Staff's charged shot. "All yours, German!"
Richthofen will free the opponent with a blast from his Wind Staff, before sending them in the air. He will then shoot the ground beneath him, joining the opponent in the sky. He will aim and blast them away with a shot from the staff.
This version will spike the opponent at an angle, and can kill at zero, depending on the opponent. However, if done on stage, this will do more damage than the Nikolai version, but have less knockback. It will, however, do more knockback than the Dempsey version, but do less damage. This one will spike, but is middle of the road, compared to the others.
Results Screen
Victory Theme: A rendition of 115's opening.
Victory Screen 1: The Summoning Key glows, before the camera zooms out, revealing Richtofen holding it. "There is no escaping Death. For you, this is certain." He then presses a button on it, causing a portal to open behind him. "For us, however…"
Victory Screen 2: He lands in front of the camera, drawing his pistol. "Do not fear death," he says as he aims at the camera, "fear ze doctor!"
Victory Screen 3: The entire primis crew is there (their outfits depend on what skin you have equipped, like the final smash ) sitting around a campfire. They all raise a bottle of Juggernog, as one of the crew members says something.
Dempsey: If that's the best they got, no wonder you won so easily.
Nikolai: I cannot believe I'm saying this, but you fought like Russian Bear, German.
Takeo: They fought with honor, but the better man won.
You will always get this screen if you finish the game with a final smash, with the member talking being the one who's name Richtofen calls at the start.
Special Victory Screen:
Only triggers if it's a Richtofen Ditto, 1v1. One is the regular Primis Richtofen, while the other is Great War Richtofen. (Does not occur if it's Last Gen Richtofen)
If GWR wins, it shows him very close to the camera, with a strained expression. The camera falls to the ground, as GWR pulls his knife back. "I wish I could say I was sorry, Edward," he says, as he pulls out the Summoning Key. PR's hand reaches for him, shaking. "But I'm not." He finishes, as he walks away. The camera falls to the side, as it fades to black.
If PR wins, he will punch the camera down to the ground. It catches itself, revealing GWR's hands and arms. "They will not forget me," PR says, as the camera looks towards him. He pulls out his Mouser, aiming it at the camera. "But they will forget you!" He says, pulling the trigger. A flash shoots out as it cuts to black.
For both of the special victorys, the announcer doesn't say anything, no visual effects (showing first place and their name), and the defeat screen does not appear. The only sound is a rendition of the Blood of the Dead game over music.
Defeat Screen: Looks away.
Stage: Der Eisendrache
The Stage starts in the spawn room of the map, with two pits where the gondolas would be. It's a walk off, with a singular hole in the ceiling.
The stage will then teleport the fighters outside, at the death ray. The death ray will activate occasionally, hitting all players who are not on the ground.
After the death ray turns off, the stage will shift to the underground catacombs, in front of the dragon head. Getting in front of the dragon head will cause it to insta kill you by eating you. This is the only way to KO opponents on this part of the map. The room will also go low gravity, making everyone floaty.
Once the floatiness goes away, you will be taken to the rocket testing area. You send enemies off the cliff on both sides, with a teleporter on the right side in a corner. As you are fighting, the alarm rings out, and the teleporter glows. Crouching on the teleporter will take the fighter away. Once the countdown reaches zero, any fighters that have not teleported will be KOd instantly by the rocket.
Once all fighters have teleported or have been KOd, the stage will shift to the Keeper Boss Fight room. The boss fight is in the background with Richtofen joining the rest of Primis if he isn't in the fight. If he is fighting, then he will not appear. This stage is a smaller version of FD, with occasional lighting blasts being shot from the Keeper hitting the stage. Getting hit by it does a lot of damage and stuns, leading to an easy kill if you're not careful. The stage will remain here for the rest of the map.
If stage hazards are turned off, then the match will start in the final area, with the boss fight happening in the background. However, the lightning will not hit the fighters.
Omega and Battlefield versions of this stage take place from a distance, allowing one to see the death ray on the left and the rocket testing area on the right.
Trailer: The trailer begins with Dempsey giving a field report, as the scene is drawn in the same style as the Der Eisendrache opening cutscene.
"Field Report: Things have been going smoothly. Well, as smoothly as they can go, given our current circumstance."
It shows a hail of gunfire as a dark clone of Link is destroyed, fading into nothingness.
"We find ourselves in some kind of, otherworldly place. Nothing like what we've seen."
Nikolai is falling back, firing shots from his KRM at dark clones of Pikachu, Young Link and Wolf.
"What makes it worse, is that Richtofen hasn't been seen since we got here."
Takeo slashes down clones of Ike, Marth and Roy.
"I should've never trusted you Richtofen, never."
As this is said, the trio is surrounded by dark clones of fighters that haven't been destroyed yet.
"You should, Dempsey. You all should," Richtofen states, as he opens a path to his allies with a blast from his Wind Staff. Richtofen holsters his staff onto his back and draws his pistol holding it up to the sky, in his iconic pose.

Author Notes: This was written a long time ago and has been cleaned up and finished at the time of posting. If you have any suggestions on how to tweak it the stats, feel free to share. I am not a game designer, but I tried to be fair and balanced with his attacks and specials.
Secondly, and to those who read my other stories, this is going to be a quick update. I have been busy the past year with getting stuff ready for school, which I have now started. I apologize for not updating anything, but I have been busy working on some projects, both old and new. Mainly, I plan on continuing my stories, but at a later date. I also have another story in the oven, but I will hold off on it untilI deem it worthy of sharing.
Anyways, thank you for reading, and I hope you have a good day.
