No Idea why this chapter was so hard to write other than RL has been super busy. Every time I sat down I could only write a hundred words each session because my mind was preoccupied with so many other things. Just a quick update tommorow I'll be leaving the state, I live in Texas and I'm driving to Michigan where I will be for about a week and a half. I'll try and update both Married Life and Time for Someday while I'm there.

Chapter 9

Smut, Angst

What the future holds

Carlos POV:

I stared at my babe waiting. She held the test in her hand. She looked up at me. "We're pregnant." She said softly.

"We are?" I asked smiling. She grinned.

"We are." She confirmed. She jumped up and wrapped her legs around my waist. I supported her weight as she wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me. The kiss was fast and furious.

"We're pregnant Carlos! We're going to have a baby!" She said pulling back. A brilliant smile lit up her face. I tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear.

"We are babe." I said. "We're going to have a baby. I couldn't be happier."

She smiled. "How about we go celebrate?" She purred.

"I like the sound of that Babe." I said with my signature wolf grin.

"Only like?" She asked.

Steph POV:

"Love, Babe. Love." He said. Carlos laid me gently on the bed making me smile. He climbed in and held his body above mine. He pulled my shirt over my head and then my bra was gone, tossed away somewhere in the room with the t-shirt.

He kissed me softly before kissing along my jaw, down my neck and the curve of my shoulder. He kissed the skin where my shoulder and neck connected and then pulled the skin into his mouth, laving it with his tongue I knew he was marking me but I didn't care. I tangled my fingers in his hair as his teeth bit into my skin, hard enough to leave a mark but not hard enough to draw blood. I arched up pressing my body into his moaning. "Carlos."

He kissed the valley between my breast and down my stomach. He placed both hands on my hips. He placed a kiss to my stomach and spoke softly in spanish.

"Hello my baby. Your mother and I can't wait to meet you in nine months. Can you go easy on your mother? I want her to give you some brothers or sisters and she won't do that if you make this to hard for her. We love you already." He said. He pressed another kiss to my stomach and I tangled my fingers in his hair as I felt a tear roll down my cheek.

"That was so sweet Carlos." I said. He looked up at me and I thought I saw some red coloring in his cheeks. That's right Batman can blush.

He came back up to lay a kiss on my lips as his hands deftly slid my sweats and panties down off my legs and flung them across the room. He kissed along the insides of my thighs and the pushed my legs farther apart.

His tongue flicked against my clit causing me to arch my back at the sensation. He repeated the action again, and again. Over and over, causing a warmth to start in my stomach. "Carlos." I moaned. "Get up here please."

After one more flick to my clit he crawled up my body. "I love you babe." He said. He slid into me slowly, filling me completely. He started moving slowly, my hands clutched at his shoulders as I arched my back.

"I love you too Carlos." I said. He pumped into me with a steady rhythm. I arched my back and pressed us closer together. Carlos's hand roamed down to my hip and angled them for deeper thrust. He hit my clit every time. I tangled one of my hands in his hair and pulled slightly. I was so close, both of us were right on the edge. Carlos reached down and pinched my clit. I gasped and moaned his name as I came. Carlos followed. I tangled my fingers in his hair and pulled his mouth down to mine.

Carlos wrapped his arms around my body and rolled onto his back. I laid my head on his chest as he wrapped his arms around me and kissed the top of my head. "Love you babe."

"Love you too Carlos."

I sat in the passengers seat of the turbo with a file spread out in my lap while Carlos drove. Carlos glanced over at me. "Babe." He said.

"I've got it narrowed down to about six people. We just can't find any ties to Morelli." I said. "This job would be allot easier if you could just torture the info out of them."

He glanced at me with a smirk. "There was a time in our life that you thought that you would never think that." He said. I shook my head.

"We're almost there babe." He said. I nodded biting my lip. I turned back to the file and Carlos rested his hand on my knee and drew circles on it, calming my nerves.

"How about when we get back to the office we start pulling them into the conference rooms to 'talk'?" He said. "If it's narrowed down to six then we should be able to get them to break quick."

I nodded. Carlos pulled into the Obstetrician's office. We couldn't return to the one in Princeton after Joe shot Carlos there and later finding out he had been sleeping with one of the nurses. Now we were in Hamilton township. Carlos walked around and opened my door. I smiled at him and took his hand as we walked inside.

We stood at the edge of the waiting room. There were a few women that hardly looked pregnant and other that looked ready to bust. I walked tentatively up to the desk with Carlos's hand at the small of my back. The nurse was a small petite blond with blue eyes. She looked at me and smiled. "Name?" She asked.

After I didn't answer Carlos did. "Manoso. Stephanie Manoso. " Carlos said. The receptionist looked at him and nodded. She didn't seem fazed by him at all. I grinned.

"Sorry." I said. She smiled at me again.

"I'm assuming this is your first?" She asked. I nodded.

"That obvious?" I asked.

"Just a little." She handed me a clip board. "Fill this out and bring it back, and I'll let you know when the doctor is ready for you."

Carlos and I nodded and walked to sit down. He was the only man in the waiting room. Most of the women were staring at her and the children stared in wonder. My hand shook to much so Carlos filed out the paperwork. He didn't need to ask me any questions and he returned it. After ten minutes of sitting we were called back.

I was given a pink paper gown. Carlos looked at it. "What is that?"

"The gown." I said. He made a face of disgust. I stripped of my clothes and started to wad them up. Carlos took them from my hands and started folding them, setting them down in one of the chairs with my shoes tucked under it. He helped me onto the bed and sat in the other chair. The nurse from out front came in.

"You can use the connected bathroom. We need a urine sample." I nodded. "I'll stand outside. You can bring the sample once your done and then I collect a blood sample."

I walked into the bathroom and tried to make sure I made it in the cup. Once I was done I brought it to her and she stuck a label on it and gave it to another nurse. "Come back for the blood sample."

I settled onto the bed and Carlos held my hand as we waited. Ten minutes later Dr. Whitethorn walked in. She smiled at me. "Hello, Mister and Misses Manoso."

"Carlos and Stephanie." I said. She nodded.

"Well." She said. "Your definitely pregnant."

Carlos kissed the back of my hand grinning. "Your about six weeks along that put your due date is May 8th." She said.

I smiled. I rubbed my stomach. "Do you want to see the baby?" She asked.

"Yes." Carlos said. I smiled at him.

"We'll be doing a transvaginal exam." She said. I nodded and watched as she got everything from the cabinet. She slipped the condom onto the probe and covered it in lube. I pulled my legs up and bent my knees and she pulled the machine over.

"You might feel some discomfort. Some women say it's the equivalent to being with a well endowed man."

Well I hadn't been with many men but I knew Ranger was above average. I didn't feel any discomfort as she slid it gently inside of me. I looked at Carlos and raised an eyebrow. He grinned. After a few moments the doctor grinned. "And this here is your baby." She said turning the screen towards us and pointing a dot out to us.

"Carlos look!" I said grinning. I looked at him and he had a shocked look on his face.

"Look what we made babe." He whispered. I grinned at him.

"I'll print these pictures out for you and put them on a DVD also." She said. She slowly extracted the probe and tossed away the condom and put everything up. "Get dressed and the have a nurse escort you to my office."

I nodded and Carlos confirmed. Whitethorn left and I slid off the table. Carlos pulled me into his arms my paper gown crinkling. "Did you see it babe? Did you see our baby? We made that." He said.

I grinned up at him and wrapped my arms around his neck. "I know." I said. "I love you Carlos and I love our little dot."

He chuckled. "Dot?"

"Would you rather me call our baby spot?" I asked. He chuckled and kissed me. He smacked me on the ass lightly.

"Come on babe. Get dressed." He said. I laughed and got dressed and then we stepped outside and the nurse from our front approached us. Her name was Kathy. Now that I got a good look at her, she was gorgeous. I wonder if she is single, and if any of the Merrymen would be interested. Something to ponder.

She led us back to the Doc's office and knocked. We were told to come in and we settled into the comfortable chairs she had across from her desk. Carlos had my hand in his lap and he squeezed it as the doctor turned to look at us. "Well your definitely having a baby. We'll do the first ultrasound when you come back for your appointment at ten weeks. Now you should start eating healthy now. Do you exercise Mrs. Manoso?"

"I do. Usually I run a few miles everyday on the treadmill, do some strength exercises. I also do yoga and palates." I said. "We also have a company medic so he can help monitor my exercise routine while I'm pregnant."

"Wonderful. I would cut back on the running and just start walking a mile or two on the treadmill. If you feel yourself starting to get tired get off and relax. You don't want to over stress your body." She said.

"Here are a few pamphlets to read. I would recommend picking up some books over pregnancy. There are a few I recommend if you would like the list." She said.

"We would." Carlos answered.

"Do you have any questions?"

"How much do I need to limit sweets?" I asked her.

"As much as possible. You want to be careful of Gestational diabetes." She said. I nodded and Carlos squeezed my hand.

"Here's my number ad email so you can contact me with any questions." She said.

"Thank you." I said. Carlos also thanked her. She handed me the pamphlets and the card and walked us out.

"We should go home and tell the guys." I said. Carlos smiled.

"All of them babe?" He asked. I nodded biting my lip.

"They're going to be uncles Carlos." I said.

"And we're going to be parents." He said grinning as he led me to my side of the turbo. He helped me get in and leaned down to pull my seat belt over me. He kissed me slow and passionate, a promise for later.

"I love you so much babe."

"I love you too Carlos." I said against his lips. He pulled away and walked around. He fired up the turbo and took my hand in his. We drove back to Rangeman and took the elevator up to five. I wrapped my arms around Carlos's waist and leaned into him, resting my head on his chest. The doors opened and he wrapped an arm around my waist and we walked out.

"Everyone needs to meet in conference room A. Ten minutes unless your on monitors." Carlos called. We walked into his office and he locked the door behind us. He pulled me into him as he leaned against his deck, holding me to him. I settled my head onto his chest and he set his chin on my head.

"Do you think we're ready for a kid?" I asked him softly.

"We have nine months to get ready." He chuckled. I rolled my eyes.

"We should find a house." I said.

"I've been thinking about that. I've got a large plot of land that I have always wanted to build on. I bought it with you in mind. Its about twenty minutes from here. I was thinking we could redo the office in the apartment as a nursery and build a house on the property. Live in the apartment as the house is being built." He said.

I looked up at him. "You really want to build a house?"

"That way we can have everything we want without having to remodel. Do you like that Idea babe?"

I did. I was just concerned how long it would take to build. "I like the idea but how long would it take?" I asked.

"Not to long. It depends on what all we want done and a few other factors. If your serious and want to do this babe we can talk to my contractor." He said. I nodded.

"We can talk about it later. The men are expecting us." I said. He kissed me softly and took my hand walking me to the conference room.

"What's going on?" Tank asked.

"Does Bomber have another Stalker?" Bobby asked. Ranger sat down at the head of the table. Me to his left, Tank to his right. Rage sat to my left. He shot me a small grin and I nodded.

"No but we have an announcement." Carlos said.

"Spit it out." Lester said.

Carlos shot him a glare. "Santos, mats 0700."

"0700 boss?" Santos asked.

"Stop it Lester." I said to him. "We're having a really good day and we have really good news to share with all of you."
"Sorry Steph." Les said lowering his head.

"Anyway." I said looking to Carlos. "It's not anything bad. We actually have something really good to tell you and we both think you will be excited."

"So what is it?" Bobby asked. I looked to Carlos and squeezed his hand.

"We have a new employee joining our team. They will be here in about nine months and they will be taking a leadership role. They have a impeccable resume that has made them shoot directly into a core team and management position."

"What the hell?" Cal said.

"Some of us have been working for that position for years." Hal said.

Rage grinned and shook his head. Tank looked shocked and turned to the men. "Bomber's pregnant." He said. The room went quiet for a moment before exploding in noise. I studied the room as I hugged the men.

Hank in the back was on his cell phone texting. He didn't look happy. That was strange. He also wasn't using his Rangeman issued phone. All of the men had one and used it for everything, it was the only way we could keep everything secure. I watched as he looked around and walked out. I hugged all of the men and Lester grabbed me and kissed me right on the lips. "I don't care what the boss does, you can kick my ass. I'm going to be an uncle!"

Carlos pulled me away from Les and into him. He growled at Les and kissed the top of my head. "Hands off my woman Santos. Get your own." He growled. I laughed softly and pulled Carlos down for a kiss.

"Hank has a burner phone and he walked out after we announced the baby." I said against his lips softly. Carlos kissed me softly.

"Do you think he's the mole?" He asked.

"He's being suspicious."

"We'll meet with the core team after this."
