An Ultimate Betrayal-Ch 12
Derek pulled up in front of Penelopes apartment building and glanced over his shoulder and saw Ester in Penelopes parking spot. He ran up the sidewalk and through the door as he made his way toward the stairs, his heart was racing like it never had before.
He ran like he never had before, he had to find her, he had to talk to her and make her see that nothing happened, that he loved her and only her. When he stopped in front of her apartment his heart started racing as he saw her door busted open.
Derek ever so slowly started making his way inside her apartment, he was looking for her but saw no signs of her anywhere. He said, "baby girl, baby are you here, please talk to me".
He could see that things were all over the place, like their had been a struggle but who, who would want to hurt her. Instantly he grabbed his cell from his pocket and dialed a famaliar number.
After a couple of rings he heard Hotchs voice say, "you doing any better Morgan"?, Derek said, "Hotch, I need you and the others to get to Garcias apartment as fast as you can".
Hotch said, "Garcias apartment but why"?, Derek said, "I'll explain everything once you all get here". Hotch took a deep breath and said, "we'll be there in a few minutes" and before the call ended Derek said, "I'll call the locals".
Hotch said, "the locals, why, what's going on, what aren't you telling me"?, Derek said, "well it looks like somebody took her, like somebody kidnapped baby girl, please, please get here as soon as you can".
After the call ended Derek said, "please be okay baby girl, please, I can't lose you, not now, not ever". Meanwhile across town Zach carries Penelope through a door and lays her down on a bed.
He stands there looking down at her, he caresses her cheek and whispers, "I love you Penelope, you belong with me, somebody that will cherish you always, not with a he whore like Derek Morgan".
Zach sighed and said, "when you wake up I'll make you see that you're right where you belong and that's with me". Peter walked into the room and said, "she'll be out for a few hours so why don't we go out and let her sleep"?, Zach leaned down and kissed her gently on the lips and said, "soon Penelope soon you'll be mine forever".
Derek was still talking to the locals when Hotch and the rest of the team walked through the door to Penelopes apartment. Dave stood looking at his heart broken step-son and wondered what had happened to shatter the younger man.
Reid looked at JJ and said, "who could have took Penelope and why"?, Emily said, "I think it all stems from Derek". Hotch said, "I believe you're right because in their threat they made it a point to threaten Penelope too".
Derek nodded his head yes and thanks the officers before walking over to join the rest of the team to fill them in on what had happened. The team gathered around him and listened as he told them everything that had happened, including the conversation he had with Penelope about the pictures and text message.
When he was finished JJ said, "so the same woman that you ran in to, the same woman that was in the pictures is the woman that was in your bed"?, Derek said, "it was and she admitted that she had drugged me so that everything would look convincing I guess".
JJ said, "poor Garcie, she was heartbroken at the thoughts of you cheating on her", Derek said, "but I didn't, I didn't cheat on her, I love her JJ, she is my everything, she's my world and now because of that woman and whoever she's working with I've lost her, I've lost her".
Dave put his hand on Dereks shoulder and said, "we need to think, think about who would want to break the two of you up and why". The others nodded their heads yes in agreement as Reid got out a piece of paper and a pen and started making a list of anybody and everybody they could think of that might want to keep the lovers apart.
When the list was complete Hotch said, "we need to head back to the BAU and see if we can get a tech to do some searches, maybe pull up some camera footage and then go from there because we will find Garcia and the people that did this to her, to you both will pay and that's a promise".
Derek sighed and wiped away the tears that were streaming down his cheeks as he followed the others out of the apartment and down the stairs. He had to find her, he had to find her and make her understand that he loved her and would never ever cheat on her.
Across town Penelope started waking up, she opened her eyes and looked around the room and said, "where am I"?, she jumped when she heard that famaliar voice again say, "good, you're awake".
Penelope looked at the doorway and saw two people she hadn't seen in a long time, her mouth flew open and she said, "P P Peter, Zach, why did you do this, why"?, Peter laughed and said, "because we could P that's why, because we could".
Zach walked over and sat down on the side of the bed and said, "you're where you belong, you're with me, finally with me". Penelope said, "so it was you two, you're the ones that did all of that, the pictures, the text message, making sure I caught Derek in bed with that woman, all of that was you"?, Peter smiled and said, "it was".
Penelope walked over and slapped him hard across the face and said, "what did I ever do to you to make you treat me like this"?, Peter slapped her cheek and leaned in and said, "YOU WERE BORN" before turning around and walking out of the room leaving behind a stunned Zach and Penelope in his wake.
