An Ultimate Betrayal-Ch 13
When Derek and the rest of the team arrived back at the BAU JJ wasted no time in finding another tech to do analysis on cameras surrounding Penelopes apartment. While they were waiting for results Derek sat deep in thought.
Dave walked over to his step-son and said, "son it's going to be alright, we're going to get her back, you have to believe that". Derek looked up at him and said, "she thinks I cheated on her Dave, how am I gonna make her understand that I didn't cheat, I love her and only her".
Reid walked over to join them and said, "she knows you love her, it's just that she doesn't think that she's your type, she thinks she's not beautiful". Derek said, "nothing could be further from the truth, she's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen".
Hotch looked over at Derek and said, "it's taken so long for the two of you to finally get together, don't tell me that you're giving up already"?, Derek said, "I'll never give up, I love her and we belong together".
Everybodys attention turned to the door as Tiffany the tech came running into the room with pictures in her hands. Hotch said, "please tell me you were able to find something".
Tiff nodded her head and said, "I was, I pulled up the footage and was able to get these pictures just seconds before everything was erased". Derek said, "erased, you mean whoever is doing this is as good at computers as baby girl"?, Tiff said, "I don't know if they are as good as Garcia but he or she definitely knows what they are doing".
As the team looked at the pictures they couldn't help but notice how famaliar the blonde haired man looked. Derek said, "wait I've seen him before", Reid said, "do you remember when and where"?, Derek said, "a picture, I've seen a picture of him and it was recently".
Across town Penelope looked at Zach and said, "I guess you want me to pay for something too don't you"?, Zach took her hands in his and said, "I love you Penelope, I always have and I always will".
Penelope pulled her hands away and said, "Zach I love Derek, he's the love of my life, we belong together". Zach shook his head and said, "no you don't, you love me, don't you remember that summer that we" and Penelope said, "Zach I was 16 years old, that was a long time ago".
Zach said, "I still remember how your body felt against mine, you were so soft and I loved that shampoo that you would use". Penelope said, "Zach I cared a lot about you, I really did".
Zach looked at her and said, "you did but you don't now"?, Penelope said, "I use to think that we would always be friends but apparently I was wrong". He sighed and said, "you'll get use to me again Penelope, we have a lot of time to make up for".
Penelope said, "wait, what do you mean we'll have time that I'll get use to you again, what are you planning"?, Zach leaned in and smelled her hair and said, "we're going to be together forever Penelope, you and me, we're perfect together".
She shook her head and said, "I want to go back to Derek and the rest of my team, please let me go Zach". He pulled her close to him and said, "no can do P, no can do, you're where you belong and the sooner you accept that the better".
Their conversation ended when the door opened again and Peter stepped in, he said, "get ready, we're moving out". Penelope said, "I'm not going anywhere with you Peter, you need to let me go and now".
Peter laughed and then slapped her hard across the face and said, "you need to shut up, you're going with us, we're taking you away from this place". With tears streaming down her cheeks she said, "please let me go, please don't do this to me".
Zach intertwined fingers with her and said, "don't worry P, I'll take good care of you, I'll love you forever". Seconds later she felt a sting in the side of her neck and then everything started going black as darkness enveloped her.
Back at the BAU Derek looked down at the picture and said, "where did I see this face, think Derek, think". Reid and the others looked at him and Reid said, "don't force it, if you do it might never come to you".
Derek ran his hand over his head and blew out a deep breath and said, "I know where I saw this face before". Hotch said, "where"?, Derek said, "in a family picture, this is Penelopes brother, this is Peter Garcia" and the team gasped in surprise as they tried to figure out why, why he would want to take Penelope and who the other man was in the picture.
