An Ultimate Betrayal-Ch 15
The team parked out of sight and made their way toward the two brothers, when they got close Paul said, "we followed Zach, he's right over there" as he pointed to the huge house.
Hotch said, "any signs of your brother or Penelope"?, the two brothers sadly shook their heads no. Derek listened as Hotch said, "alright Morgan, I want you, Reid and JJ to go in from the back and the rest of us will go in from the front".
Derek nodded his head and said, "the primary objective is to get baby girl out and the safer the better". Dave said, "agreed" as the team all drew their guns and slowly made their way into position.
Inside the house Zach was getting ready to walk down the hall where Penelope was when the door opened and half of the team ran inside. Peter heard the noise and after seeing that it was part of Penelopes team he quickly made it to the room she was in.
He opened the door and ran inside, he pulled her up from the bed and turned her back to him and wrapped his arms around her holding her tight. Penelope said, "what are you doing, what's happening"?, Peter said, "shut up, your team is here, I don't know how but they found you".
Penelope said, "my team, t they're here"?, Peter pulled out a huge knife and said, "yes they did but it's to late, I won't let them have you back". Her attention then flew to the door as she saw the handsome face of Derek standing there.
He had his gun aimed at Peter and said, "Peter Garcia you are under arrest for the assault and kidnapping of a federal agent". Peter smiled and said, "awwww how sweet, the cheater came to save his fat cow girlfriend".
Derek said, "I'm not a cheater and you know it, you sick freak", Peter laughed and said, "yeah well, it worked for a while though, didn't it, I got the prize I was after, I was able to take her right under your nose".
Penelope said, "you tricked me and made me think that Derek was cheating on me, how could you do that to me Peter"?, Peter stuck the knife to her stomach and said, "it was really east Penelope, I hate you, I've hated you since the day you were born and this, well this was my revenge on you".
Penelope said, "revenge, revenge for what, for being born"?, Peter said, "exactly, now it's time for you to die". Derek said, "you hurt her and I swear that I'll kill you myself", Peter smirked and said, "well isn't this sweet, I think he actually cares about you".
Derek said, "I love her, I love her with all of my heart", Peter said, "that's to sad for you then" as he stabbed Penelope three times in the stomach. Penelope screamed with pain as blood quickly covered the floor.
Peter was all smiles as he watched Penelope fall to the floor, the smile soon faded as shot after shot hit him in the chest and stomach. JJ and Reid were standing over Peter as he closed his eyes for the last time.
Derek pulled Penelope into his arms and said, "hang on sweetness", he looked up and said, "MEDICS, I NEED MEDICS". Penelope said, "I love you", Derek said, "don't do that, don't say goodbye to me, do you hear me"?, she weakly smiled and said, "I'll love you foreverrrrr" and then her eyes closed.
Derek said, "WHERE ARE THOSE MEDICSSSSSSS" as he held her close and said, "don't leave me, please don't leave me". As he sat there holding her Paul and Patrick ran into the room in time to see Reid lean down and check for a pulse and then look up at them and shake his head.
Patrick and Paul watched as Derek kissed their sister on the lips and whispered, "I love you baby girl, please don't leave me, please don't go". In the distance the sound of an ambulance siren filled the air.
