An Ultimate Betrayal-Ch 17
Over the next few hours Penelopes condition remained critical but stable and she was not in her own private room. Derek and the others were all allowed to see her and then after a few minutes everybody left except Derek and Payton".
Patrick and Paul would be coming back later with dinner for Derek and Payton and while Derek and Payton were eating Patrick and Paul would spend some time with their sister.
The team came throughout the day and spent time with their friend so Derek and Payton could take a break. Derek hated leaving Penelopes side but he knew that everybody wanted to see her.
He couldn't wait until they could all stay with her that way he would never have to leave her side again. As the brothers watched Derek by their sisters bedside they knew that Derek was indeed head over heels in love with Penelope.
By the time evening rolled around the team was given the all clear to stay with Penelope as long as they wanted too. JJ and Emily were sitting by Penelopes bedside talking to her about Jack and Henrys adventures.
Derek, Hotch, Dave and Reid were on their way to jail to talk to Zach, they wanted to find out exactly what he did to Penelope while he had her all of those weeks.
As they sat there waiting on the guards to bring Zach in Dave said, "son I know you're going to want to kill Zach with your bare hands but you have to remain calm, can you do that"?, Derek looked at him and said, "they tried to turn baby girl against me, made her believe that I had cheated on her".
Derek ran his hand over his head and said, "and then they kidnap her for over 5 weeks and it's hard to tell what they did to her so yeah, yeah I want to kill him with my bare hands but I know that if I do we'll never get any answers".
Reid said, "the important thing is that Penelope is alive and safe and that she and the baby are going to be fine". Derek nodded his head yes in agreement and said, "so true pretty boy, so true".
It wasn't long before the door opened and the guards led Zach into the room and cuffed him to the table. Hotch said, "we'll let you know when we're ready to leave", the guards turned around and stepped out into the hall, leaving the 5 of them alone.
Zach looked at Derek and said, "well, what do you want"?, Derek said, "what do I want, welllllll I want to choke you to death with my bare hands, that's what I want you sick freak".
Zach laughed and said, "you're a feisty on aren't you Derek Morgan"?, Derek said, "feisty, you ain't seen feisty yet bastard". Zach smirked and said, "yeah Penelope was feisty to, I loved it when she fought me".
Derek said, "what did you do to her, did you hurt her"?, Zach leaned forward and said, "she loved every minute of it, the moans, the groans, she loved everything I did to her".
Before anybody could react Reid punched Zach in the face, Zach grunted and fell out of the chair and said, "wow, I didn't think you had that in you Spencer". Reid said, "you're lucky that's all I do to you, you terrorized my family, you took my sister, Derek's not the only one that wants to kill you right now".
Zach got back up into his seat and Dave said, "the reason we're here is to find out why, why you and Peter did all of this to kitten". Zach blew out a deep breath and said, "because we belong together, we've always belonged together and everything that was done only proved that point more".
Derek and the others sat and listened as Zach opened his mouth and said, "if you really want to know everything that Penelope went through I'll tell you". Derek looked at him and said, "we want to know".
Zach opened his mouth and started telling them exactly what Penelope went through from the first day she was taken. When he was done tears streamed down Dereks cheeks.
Derek stood up and said, "I'm going to make sure that you fry for what you did to her", he then looked at Hotch and said, "I'm going back to Penelope and the baby, I'm afraid that if I stay here any longer that I won't be able to control myself".
Hotch nodded his head and said, "we'll be back soon", Derek blew out a deep breath and nodded his head yes as he headed out of the room.
