Penelope said, "w w what"?, he caressed her cheek and said, "I love you with all of my heart, you are the love of my life and I hope that you will agree to be my wife and spend the rest of your life with me".
Tears streamed down her face and she said, "Derek, are you sure about this, I don't want you to marry me because of the baby I" and he silenced her by crashing his lips against hers.
When they pulled apart he said, "I love you, please be my wife, please give me the chance to show you each and every day how much I love you". As he wiped the tears away that were streaming down her cheeks she said, "yes Derek, yes I'll marry you".
Penelope then watched as he pulled a small black box from his pocket and opened it before her eyes. He removed the ring and slid it on her finger and then claimed her lips with his in a passionate kiss.
They pulled apart to the sounds of hands clapping, they turned to see their team and family standing in front of them smiling. Penelope said, "Fran is going to kill us", Reid said, "no she won't I recorded his propsal" and Derek and Penelope grinned and said, "thank you" in unison.
Penelopes three brothers smiled and hugged her and after giving their congratulations they stepped aside and let the rest of the family do the same as they continued celebrating the news of the upcoming wedding.
Dave smiled down at Penelope and said, "well kitten it's about time the two of you get your happy ending isn't it"?, Penelope said, "it sure is papa bear, we've been through a lot to get to this point and now that I have him I'm never letting him go".
Derek kissed her lips gently and said, "I'm going to hold you to that", she winked at him and said, "I hope you do sugar shack, I hope you do". Emily said, "okay now that you're finally getting married, any ideas when the big day is going to be"?, Derek looked at Penelope and she said, "the sooner the better as far as I'm concerned".
Derek said, "well we will wait until you are healed up first, because I want my girl back to her all seeing, all knowing oracle self", Penelope said, "how about we plan it for a month from today, that way we can get everything taken care of and I'll have time to heal"?, Derek smiled at her and said, "deal goddess".
Hotch looked at the happy couple and said, "now the question is where will you have the ceremony, here in California or back in Virginia"?, Derek looked at Penelope and said, "I want you to have the wedding you've always dreamed of baby girl".
Penelope looked at her brothers and smiled, she then said, "I'd like to get married here in California and I'd like for my brothers to give me away". Payton glanced at his brothers and they nodded their heads yes and he said, "we'd love that P, we'd be honored".
Derek said, "with Penelope on medical leave for a while, we shouldn't have any trouble getting the plans made". Penelope said, "Jayje, I'm going to need the help of both you and Em".
JJ and Emily nodded their heads yes as they stepped closer to their friend and Dave said, "and what about a honeymoon, you have any ideas there yet son"?, Derek sighed happily and said, "as long as I'm with my baby girl that's all that matters to me".
Reid said, "what about Zach, what about his trial, won't the two of you have to testify"?, Derek looked at Hotch and asked, "is their anyway you can find out for us Hotch"?, the older man smiled and agreed as he walked away.
Derek glanced over at his future bride and smiled, he smiled because all of his dreams were finally coming together.
