An Ultimate Betrayal-Ch 27
As the newlyweds enter the tent they are met with the sounds of hands clapping and the shouts of congratulations and hugs. Derek pulls his bride into his arms and says, "how does it feel to be Mrs. Derek Morgan"?, Penelope said, "it's okay I guess", Derek laughed and said, "alright I guess, are you kidding me right now"?, she laughed and kissed his lips passionately
When they pulled apart she said, "of course I'm kissing you, being married to you is a dream come true for me, I have been in love with you since the day I met you". Derek rested his forehead against hers and said, "and now you're mine", she closed her eyes and said, "and you're mine".
Derek said, "forever and ever I'm yours" as his lips descended on hers, they pulled apart as Fran said, "it's time for the first dance" and everybody clapped their hands as Derek led his bride to the center of the dance floor.
She wrapped her arms around his neck and smiled lovingly and said, "if this is a dream please don't ever wake me up". Derek brushed his lips against hers and said, "this isn't a dream sweetness, this is real and now that you're mine, I'm never letting you go"
The music to Lady by Kenny Rogers filled the air as the happy couple started dancing, they moved together totally in sync. Fran stood grinning and Dave walked over to her and held out his hand and said, "shall we Bella"?, she said, "we shall" as she slid her hand in his.
It was only a matter of a few seconds before the other couples took to the dance floor to join Derek and Penelope in a dance. Derek held her close, he couldn't get enough of her, he had to be touching and kissing her the entire time they were dancing.
As the song ended Penelope said, "I can't wait to get you alone", Derek wiggled his eyebrows and said, "I couldn't have said it better myself goddess". Penelope leaned in and whispered, "I want you to make love to me all night long, I want you to show me how much you love me".
Derek tapped the end of her nose and said, "I do believe that I'm the man for the job", she laughed and said, "that you are my love, that you are". As the celebrating continued the family, laughed, ate and spent the time together as a loving family.
Soon it was time for the newlyweds to cut the cake, everybody gathered around the two tier cake and watched as they both put their hands on the knife and slid it down through the bottom layer of the delicious looking cake.
After a piece was put into a saucer Derek and Penelope both took a bite in their fingers and gently fed the other before kissing the remaining icing off of the others lips. Picture after picture was snapped by Fran and the girls as everybody then enjoyed a delicious piece of cake.
It wasn't long before Derek said, "it's time for us to get out of here", she nodded her head and after they said their goodbyes the family ran after then tossing birdseed. Penelope and Derek climbed into their waiting car and as they pulled away from the curve everybody was waving and they did so until the car disappeared out of sight.
Penelope slid close to Derek and laid her head on his shoulder and said, "have I told you that I love you recently"?, Derek said, "you have but I never tire of hearing it". She giggled and said, "I love you Derek Michael Morgan, I love you with every fiber of my being, i always have and I always will".
Derek said, " and I love you Penelope Grace Garcia Morgan, from this day forward I promise that I will show you everyday how much I love you and how much you mean to me". She intertwined their fingers and said, "I'm going to hold you to that", he laughed and said, "please do baby girl, please do" as the ride to their honeymoon cabin continued.
