Epilogue
About an hour later Penelope, Derek and their son were sitting in Penelopes room waiting on the rest of their family to arrive. During that time they had finally agreed on a name for their first child, a name that would represent what a strong boy he would be.
Their attention was pulled momentarily from their son as they heard a knock on the door, Penelope grinned and said, "come in and meet the newest member of our family". As they circled the bed they all congratulated the couple and cooed over the little boy.
Fran said, "he's gorgeous, he looks just like Derek did when he was born", Derek smiled and said, "I can see a lot of baby girl in him too". Reid said, "he's beautiful Garcia, have you and Morgan decided on a name for my nephew yet"?, she nodded her head and said, "we have, everybody we'd like you to meet Hank Spencer Morgan".
Reid and Fran looked at Penelope and Derek as Derek said, "Hank after my pops and Spencer after the best little brother a man could have". Fran said, "your father would be honored baby boy, purely honored to know that you named your son after him".
Penelope said, "we wanted him to have a strong name", Derek said, "and we couldn't think of a better name for him, that name suits him for sure" and everybody nodded their heads in agreement as they all then got their turns at holding Hank.
As Penelope and Derek sat there watching everybody bonding with their son they both sighed happily looking forward what the rest of their lives would bring them. Fran smiled down at her grandson and said, "I could get use to this, I want at least 5 or 6 more" causing her three children to look at her and grin.
Fran got her wish for more grandchildren about a year later when Sarah and Patrick got married and Sarah gave birth to twin daughters Alisha and Alissa Garcia. They were the spitting image of their mommy.
Desiree and Paul got married a few months after Sarah and Patrick and that following year she gave birth to her son Damon followed 2 years later by a daughter Zoe. JJ and Reid added another member to their family when JJ gave birth to Michael on Hanks 2nd birthday and he was a bundle of joy that looked like his mommy and would be a little genius like his daddy.
Emily and Hotch were surprised by excited when Emily gave birth to a daughter Sophia not long after JJ gave birth to Michael. Jack was the ever doting big brother, helping Emily with her any time he could, he loved his little sister so much and Emily appreciated the help because she was a handful and that part of their daughter she happily blamed on Hotch.
Derek and Penelope added twins, a daughter Jasmine aka Jazzy and a son Joseph aka Joey when Hank was 5, so to say that the Morgan home was busy would be an understatment. As Penelope stood looking over her family at one of their family barbecues she smiled knowing that everything her brother and ex boyfriend had put her through had made her a stronger person.
Dereks eyes caught hers and he smiled at her causing her heart to race, he loved his wife with all of his heart and he was always there to help her. He stayed by her side helping rebuild her trust after the ultimate betrayal of her brother.
Penelope never ever doubted Dereks love for her or he never doubted her love for him, they had always been destined to be together and together they would be, forever.
