The Lovers Makeovers
While dealing with the aftereffects of being used to try and bring Darkness to the universe, and dealing with the return of The Mara, Nyssa and Tegan find something interesting about the Darkness within them.

Nyssa was in her room inside the TARDIS. While the door was unlocked, the only person visiting her was her fellow companion Tegan Jovanka. "It was all such a blur" Nyssa told her. "One minute, I'm talking with Adric, the next, I'm in a black corset dress, about to wed him, and in turn, unleash a being that would bring darkness upon the galaxy" she stated, quaking on her bed
Tegan nodded her head in understanding. "Sounds almost as bad as what I went through when the Mara tried to use me to come back into our universe" she told her friend. "I remember trying to break free, but its hold on me was too strong. I couldn't fight back" Tegan told her friend.
The difference was, though, you were aware of what was going on. For me, it was more of it being a blur for me. I don't remember much of it at all" Nyssa told her, with sadness in her voice. If not for The Doctor, for both of them, things would have turned out a lot different than it did.
In the control room, The Doctor was busy checking the instruments on the TARDIS control console, as they prepared for materialization. In his fifth incarnation, the Doctor had sandy blonde hair, an open face sandwich appearance, in a brown suit with red piping, and pants, along with a vest and hat, gave the impression that he would rather be out playing cricket. With him, were his two other companions, The first one was a young woman, standing about 5'4", with red hair. She looked normal, until you looked into her eyes. These eyes were cold, the coldness of a assassin. This was one of the Avengers, Natasha Romanoff, aka The Black Widow, a woman who could be kind to her friends and colleagues, but deadly to her foes. The other person was a twelve year old young lady by the name of Lita Barton, the daughter of the late Clint "Hawkeye" Barton, who had sacrificed himself to bring back the Soul Gem. He had recently returned briefly, to help his daughter prevent darkness from overtaking the Galaxy. While young, she was getting to be as good a shot as her late father had been.
"Doctor, I hate to say this, but with what has been going on with Nyssa, Tegan, and Adric. It might not be a bad idea to get away from traveling for a couple of weeks or so" Natasha said, while watching the Doctor moving about the console.
"I am trying to do just that Natasha. I'm trying to get us to the Eye of Orion, a place of peace and relaxation, The problem is, the settings keep slipping" he told the famous Russian assassin. The Doctor tried pounding on the console, to keep the settings right, but with no effect, as the materialization process started.
As the TARDIS materialized, if anyone had taken a look inside the minds of Tegan and Nyssa, they would have seen images of the other and might have picked up the thought "If only I could be with her"
Those thoughts WERE picked up by a alien who decided that, it was time that these two lades get their wishes come true!
