I'm very sorry for not posting in a month. I've been preparing to move and The ever approaching summer has kept me distracted. I hope this makes up for it.
The fire was the only light visable for males away, dancing with glee of growing so big. The two dragons surrounding it where it's opposites. Dark, gloomy, and still.
Nightkiller wasn't in a bad mood, but the negative energies radiating from his uncle's mind had enough misery for them both. Nightkiller didn't feel that the death of his parents could be this bad, even if it was horrible, he thought there has to be more.
"How did you learn to block mind readers." Nightkiller asked, the question that had been eating at his mind for hours.
Starbreaker looked up, surprised. "I didn't think those tear scales would actually work with you. You always seemed more SandWing than nightwing, physically that is. Can you see the future too."
" What? " Nightkiller asked susuprised. "No, should I."
Starbreaker tilted his head at at him "You were born in two full moons. Hmm. Many you aren't a perfection after all."
" perfection?! " Nightkiller asked, insulted "What does that mean."
" I can answer both your questions at once. " Starbreaker claimed "but you have to listen."
Nightkiller nodded
"I was born in a settlement on the outskirts of this dessert near the claws and clouds mountains," Starbreaker began " the village was full off nightwings telling legendary stories to their children of "the greatest tribe of them all". This settlement was called eclipse 6."
Nightkiller looked up suddenly "you were with the pure eclipse."
"Listening son," Starbreaker said calmly. Nightkiller remained silent.
"I am a prophet, so my only main job was to view every possible future and explain the best time to-" he sighed "commit the assassinations. But the more I viewed the future, the more disgusting and horrible the futures I believed in felt. When Stargazer fell in love with your father and left, it made me consider leaving greatly, but after she eloped I was constantly stalked by the leader of the group. I couldn't be alone for two minutes without every alarm blazing of, and the leader, thoughtstealer his name is, could read minds, so I instinctively learned to block it drone him when I was considering escape. And I'm glad I did."
" what about perfections? " Nightkiller asked.
"Ah question two" Starbreaker said.
" the reason the hybrid children weren't killed in the first place was because Thoughtstealer had a grand fascination for hybrids and if they had all the capabilities from both tribes and still looked somewhat dramatic, he would call them perfections of nature. Everyone always thought that the boss just had a soft spot for the babies, but many, including me believe that he had other plans for them. "
"Like what" Nightkiller asked
"I'll leave that up to your imagination.."
Nightkiller down deep in his thoughts all the crackles of the fire sang him to sleep.
