Here is the next chapter! I am so sorry it took me so long to update! The chapter was half written, then I just finished writing it yesterday and today. I actually really like this chapter. You'll all have to tell me what you think :) Enjoy!

Edward gripped my hand tightly before I could change my mind and turn around. I definitely wanted to run rather than come back here.

The drama class was the same as it had been last time I'd seen it, only earlier this week though it felt so much longer than that. Twinkle lights were strung all over the dark room, and an intense perfume filled the air.

"Welcome," said an airy voice, and our teacher, Ms Rawlings, I recalled her name was, walked out from behind a dark curtain in the corner of the room and smiled. "Today, we will be performing our auditions from Romeo and Juliet for the class. Would anyone like to volunteer?"

A timid girl in the front raised her hand slowly.

"Good girl," Ms Rawlings smiled widely, showing a few gold teeth that glinted with the light from the twinkle lights. "Anyone for Romeo?"

When no one raised their hand, she pointed to Edward. "Mr. Cullen?"

I started to protest quietly, but he smiled and whispered in low tones, "I'll do the scene with you too. Trust me."

Mr Rawlings clapped her hands. "You all should have studied Romeo and Juliet, Act 2, Scene Two. Now, performers, step onto the stage."

It seemed as though the moment the girl stepped onto the stage, something changed and she changed from the small, shy girl to Juliet Capulet in love with Romeo. I shook my head. I could never compete with this, and it made me angry to see her flirting with Edward.

Something was off about the scene though. Edward's deep velvety voice that I loved more than anything… was actually boring me. He sounded bored himself, his voice flat and face wiped of expression. I glanced at the teacher. Her brows were furrowed and her lips pursed as she concentrated on the scene. I shook my head again. I had no chance. But… neither did Edward it seemed.

Suddenly, the teacher was calling my name and telling me to step onto the stage. "Now, would anyone like to volunteer to act as our Romeo with Miss Swan?'

Just about every boy in the class raised their hand. I turned and glared at Edward. I didn't sign up for this! I was going to completely embarrass myself! But Edward just smiled, and as Miss Rawlings was choosing one of the boys in the front row, he raised his hand.

"Ms. Rawlings," he said, "I was wondering if I could do the scene with Bella."

The teacher blinked, dazed. I realized with a start Edward was dazzling her. A surge of pity rushed through me. I'd experienced the same thing many times.

"Of course, Mr Cullen." she cleared her throat.

The boy in the front turned back towards us and frowned. "Uh, but Ms. Rawlings, I thought I was going to help Bella." Though he had dark brown hair and green eyes, he reminded me strongly of Mike.

Edward made a point of gripping my hand and holding it in plain sight where the boy could see.

"Mr. Cullen is going to help." said Ms. Rawlings. She hadn't taken her eyes off of Edward.

The boy sighed and turned towards the front.

Edward and I stood up and made our way to the front of the room.

"And, action!" said Ms Rawlings. I stepped behind the piece of wood stood up and painted like a balcony.

Edward knelt down in front of the balcony. "He jests at scars that never felt a wound." He looked at me. "But soft, what light through yonder window breaks?

It is the east and Juliet is the sun!Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon,

Who is already sick and pale with grief

That thou her maid art far more fair than she.

Be not her maid, since she is envious;

Her vestal livery is but sick and green,

And none but fools do wear it. Cast it off.

It is my lady, O, it is my love!" His voice was beautiful again, caressing and sweet. I was tempted to just listen to him say his lines without saying anything, but the next line popped in my head and I said it without hesitation.

Back and forth we went, repeating Shakespear's lines we knew by heart. Now they weren't just lines I was repeating, they were things I was saying. I felt like Juliet in love with Romeo, because I was in love with him. My Romeo stood right in front of me.

"...Sweet, so would I," I said softly. "Yet I should kill thee with much cherishing.

Good night, good night! parting is such

sweet sorrow,

That I shall say good night till it be morrow." I walked off the stage and glanced at the teacher. She had tears rolling down her face. I froze. Were we really that bad? Then I understood. We weren't that bad. We were that good.

"Sleep dwell upon thine eyes, peace in thy breast!" Edward said. "Would I were sleep and peace, so sweet to rest! Hence will I to my ghostly father's cell, His help to crave, and my dear hap to tell."

Silence filled the room. Edward was smiling. He walked off the stage towards me and whispered quietly in my ear. "You did amazing, love. We've got the parts."

Then there was a thundering applause, surprising for such a small class. We'd gotten the parts. I wasn't sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing. I guess we'd find out soon.

So they got the parts! What do you think, is it a good thing or a bad thing for Bella? Any thoughts on the chapter? What do you think's going to happen next? Anything you're looking forward to?

Well, I promise I will update the next chapter sooner than I did this one. And thank you all who're following and favoriting or reviewing this story, I love it so much and it always makes my day.

See you soon!
