"Watch your step." Zipp says as the group arrives at their destination.
"Where are we?" Sunny asks curiously as the group looks around.
"It's amazing right? I'm pretty sure it was some sort of station for when Earth ponies and unicorns used to visit Zephyr Heights. It's like everypony just... forgot." Zipp says.
"That's horrible." Alexis says as she looks at Zipp.
"This is proof! All pony kinds did used to be friends! My dad was right. It must be really weird being the only Pegasi that can fly." Sunny says.
"The truth is we can't fly either. We've been faking it." Zipp says much to the groups shock.
"Faking? How?" Alexis asks.
"You'd be surprised what some wires and good lighting will do. But I'm just so tired of living that ridiculous lie. That's why I come down here. To get away from all of that. And well... to do this." Zipp says as she uses an air current maker to fly.
"I gotta hand it to you. That's pretty convincing and awesome." Alexis says in amazement.
"Whoa! Her sparkle is so bright right now!" Izzy says happily.
"But that's not why I brought you down here. This is what I wanted to show you." Zipp says as she shows a stained glass picture of a star cutiemark.
"Oh my stars...!" Izzy shouts.
"Beautiful." Alexis says.
"This was made a long, long time ago. When we still had magic." Zipp says.
"It's beautiful!" Izzy shouts excitedly.
"What is that?" Sunny asks as she sees a crystal.
"That's the Pegasus Crystal. It's part of my mom's crown." Zipp says.
"Hmmm. Where's the Unicorn Crystal? Look!" Sunny says as she makes a glass crystal fit with a shadow.
"They fit?" Izzy asks in surprise.
"It's like they were meant to be together." Alexis says.
"So... what are you saying?" Zipp asks.
"Maybe you lost your magic because the crystals were separated." Sunny says.
"So if we put them back together..." Izzy says.
"...Magic will return?" Zipp asks.
"And all three pony kinds will get along again!" Sunny shouts.
"Sounds like a worthy goal to me." Alexis says happily.
"Aw but what about the Unicorn Crystal?" Zipp asks.
"Well if you're looking for crystals we've got like a gazillion of them back in Bridlewood." Izzy says as Alexis nods.
"Then that's where we'll go next. After we get the Pegasus Crystal from your mom of course." Sunny says.
"Ooh... That'll be tricky. She uh never takes her crown off." Zipp says.
"So what do we do?" Sunny asks.
"I got it! Pipp's performing at tonight's royal celebration. All eyes will be on her. Especially my mom's. She'll be distracted. So we just need to swap the real crown with a fake." Zipp says.
"Brilliant." Alexis says.
"Ooh I can craft a decoy! But I will need a box of macaroni, a tube of glue, fourteen gooey bunnies, and three jelly beans. Oh. And glitter. Lots of glitter." Izzy says.
*Timeskip*
"Looks like it's show time." Alexis says as the group is hiding behind the thrones as the royal family arrives.
"You guys ready?" Sunny asks as Alexis and Izzy nod.
"Let's do it." Izzy says as Pipp starts performing before the group switches the crown and tries to leave only to get chased by the queen's little dog.
"Sunny Starscout you are under arrest." A pony says revealing to be Hitch as sunny opens the door before quickly shutting it.
"No!" Sunny says as the dog takes the crystal from her and runs.
"Get that dog." Alexis says as the group chases after the dog while trying to avoid hitch only for a security guard to cause havoc with the wires and lights as the group scares him.
"I got it!" Zipp says as she reveals to have the crystal.
"Come on." Alexis says as the crowd sees the group and realizes the royal family can not fly as the group begins to run as Hitch joins them in running.
*Timeskip*
"Quick, this way!" Zipp says as the group is running outside.
"Okay. I think we lost 'em." Hitch says as the group stops.
"Hitch why are you even here? Haven't you made it clear enough you don't like other ponies but earth ponies?" Alexis asks angrily as she looks at Hitch.
"Wait... Alexis?" Hitch asks in shock as he looks at Alexis.
"You two know each other?" Sunny asks curiously.
"Yeah. I didn't tell everything back when you asked Sunny. I wasn't sure until I saw him and you said his name. Hitch used to be my friend until he told me he wanted nothing to do with a pony like me. Even after I had helped and played with him back then." Alexis says as Hitch looks at her.
"We were kids back then Alexis. We're adults now. You know the laws of our kind." Hitch says as Alexis gives an angry look.
"Maybe but just goes to show not all will listen to their heart. You know me better than my own adoptive sister does and yet you treated me that way." Alexis says angrily.
"Wait. You're adopted?" Zipp asks as she looks at Alexis before Alexis nods.
"I met Izzy and her family not long after Hitch stopped seeing me when we were fillies." Alexis says as Hitch gives a sad look.
"Alexis has a point. If you don't like what we're doing than why are you here?" Sunny asks.
"Arresting you. And saving you. So you know a little of both actually. You're welcome!" Hitch says.
"Oh-ho-ho gee. Thanks. But we don't need any saving okay?" Zipp asks as Hitch looks at her.
"And you are?" Hitch asks.
"Her mom is the queen!" Izzy shouts.
"Wait a minute. So that means... you're a princess?" Hitch asks.
"Huh. Look at that. The sheriff just became a detective." Zipp says before the group sees on some screens that the queen has been arrested for deceit.
"Oh no. Zipp I'm so sorry this happened." Alexis says as she looks at Zipp.
"We had to get the crystal. Look. Oh, no, no, no, no! It's not here!" Sunny says as she opens her bag and sees the crystal is missing.
"Seriously?!" Zipp asks.
"On the bright side we had so much losing it." Izzy says.
"We have to go back!" Sunny says.
"Sunny that crystal could be anywhere." Alexis says.
"Somepony seriously needs to explain why this thing was so important that you had to ruin my whole show over it!" A voice says revealing to be Pipp as she comes over holding the crystal.
"Trust me. It was." Zipp says.
"You left me hanging there! In the spotlight! Now everypony knows we can't fly. What?! This is not happening! This is so not happening!" Pipp shouts as she sees on her phone that people are looking to arrest her and Zipp.
"Pipp! Forget about all that. We think we can bring back magic but we need that crystal." Zipp says.
"Have you lost your mind?" Pipp asks angrily.
"Please. This might be our only chance." Zipp says.
"Ugh! Fine! I know a way out. Come on." Pipp says as she gestures for the group to follow.
"What? Wait! You can't just... But I'm a sheriff!" Hitch says angrily.
"Unless you wanna be arrested Mr. Sheriff I suggest you hush and follow us for once." Alexis says as the group quickly follows after Pipp.
