Here's an update. Hope you enjoy. This chapter is mostly going to be in narration. This is probably going to be my shortest chapter.
The Life and Times of The Savage
The situation was bad. The N-Men were in cages. Jimmy was surrounded by Savage and his goons. And Savage had decided to tell them all his life story.
"It all started 50,000 years ago. Back then nobody had a name. We didn't need them. All we needed to know was one thing. Survive. We were a simple hunter gatherer tribe. My job was to collect various fruits and vegetables while the stronger males went to hunt for the meat. It was a simple life but a good one. All that changed the day I made a mistake. After a long day of foraging for fruit, I was hungry. It was an unspoken rule that the tribal leaders had to eat first but at that moment I didn't really care. Turns out I should've. When they found me eating the food before they did they went berserk. They attacked me and effectively banished me to the frozen tundra that was our world. I had a couple of hours before I froze to death and a day at most before I died of hunger. It was the end of me. That was until something amazing happened to me. I looked up at the sky and saw a glowing ball coming towards me. It was only an instant but I saw a ball of fire crash into the ground. Every other creature ran from the crator but not me. I could feel the heat coming from it. It was so cold. I had to get closer. I traveled to the crash site. I looked into the crator and saw a glowing rock inside. Eventually I ended up laying next to it not knowing how the radiation from the rock was changing me. In that moment I became earth's first mutant. The next morning I felt different. To this day I couldn't tell you how but I felt different, stronger, smarter. I went back to my tribes village. Our Alpha was less than pleased to see me. He attacked and we fought. Surprisingly enough I won. I beat him down and banished him becoming the tribes new Alpha. I ruled over my people for decades. I didn't know at the time but I began to notice as they grew older I stayed the same. But I didn't really care. It hadn't dawned on me yet how different I was. After decades of rule, tragedy struck my people, a disease or virus struck them wiping them out one by one. I was immune probably because of my mutation. Eventually I was alone and remained alone for a while. I continued to survive without my tribe. I honestly don't know how long I was alone. It's all one big blur to me. Eventually I found myself in a new world. Something I didn't know was while I was wandering aimlessly the rest of the world had evolved. I found myself in what you all would call the lost city of Atlantis."
Everyone looked at Savage astonished.
"It was the most beautiful place I had ever seen. The people there looked like something out of a dream. It didn't take long for me to stick out like a sore thumb. I was captured and brought to the king. He made me become one of his gladiators. The people called me Savage and that is how I got my name. I was undefeated in the ring which is why I was given many as you would say perks. But overtime I grew dreary of the constant battles and if luck would have it. I wasn't going to fight for long. Decades passed and the people began to notice I wasn't aging. They came to see me as a demi god sent by Neptune himself to protect them. Eventually they overthrew their King and I sat on the throne where I belonged and enjoyed decades more of peace. That was until I met him. One day an old man came to the kingdom. He demanded that I give him one of the gemstones on my crown, I refused. That was the biggest mistake of my life. The old man was a powerful sorcerer named Vexus. He unleashed a terrible power on my Kingdom."
"He was a mutant." Jimmy commented.
"No James. He wasn't. Like I said before he was a sorcerer. He wielded magic."
"There's no such thing as magic." Jimmy declared.
"Trust me when I say this James. As a man who has lived longer than anyone on this planet there are things that can't be explained. Now where was I, oh yeah. Vexus used his terrible power to completely and utterly destroy Atlantis, leaving the once great paradise sinking it into the ocean. I was the only survivor. Vexus was intrigued by me. He allowed me to live under the condition I became his servant. It is with him I learned about the Reality Stones."
"Reality Stones?" Jimmy repeated.
"Cosmic Artifacts that are tied to the very fabric of reality. The gem in the crown was the Elemental Stone. A stone that gives one complete command over the elements. It was what the "gods" Neptune and Poseidon used to create Atlantis. I spent many centuries as Vexus's slave. Slowly but surely collecting the stones. He managed to obtain the energy and form stones, two stones that allowed the user access to unlimited power and the ability to change anything into anything else respectfully. I thought I was going to be a slave forever. Just as Vexus was on the pressabyss of obtaining the most powerful stone, the fantasy stone. A stone that could turn reality into fantasy and fantasy into reality. He was confronted by a consortium of sorcerers; Orian, Chaor, Zandar, Mera and Ellion who dedicated themselves to stop Vexus. To tell you the truth I didn't really get to see the ultimate battle between those Sorcerers because well… These were godly beings having a death match. I had to hide. When the battle ended the consortium were the victors. Vexus was dead. The sorcerers threw his mystical amulet into the ocean and sent the stones he had collected away.
They let me live because to them I was nothing more than a pawn. I watched these gods battle and I was helpless. It was then I decided to dedicate my life to finding the stones so I could be a god. I formulated my first plan. I met a woman and had a child with her. We called him Timothy, my first born. I took Timothy away from her and placed him at the door of the sorcerer's home. They took him in and raised him as their own. Teaching him magic. After seventeen years of waiting I finally made my move. I found Timothy and told him his origin and what his destiny was and he believed me. Under my orders Timothy convinced the sorcerers that they need to collect the reality stones themselves and destroy them, to my surprise they agreed. The sorcerers created a stone tablet capable of tracking down the stones. In a matter of weeks all five Reality Stones were in their possession. The night they collected all the stones, Timothy managed to steal the stones from them and made his way towards me. Unfortunately the Sorcerers noticed and followed him. Timothy fought them in my name. Unable to hurt what they viewed as their child the sorcerers let him wound them. With them out of the way Timothy gave me the Reality Stones. Using the pendant Vexus used to hold the stones I felt myself become a god. It was then that I unintentionally revealed to Timothy my true goals. He tried to stop me but with the power I wielded I easily defeated him. In a last ditch effort the sorcerers used all of their power to destroy the pendant, releasing the stones and scattering them across the planet again."
"What happened to your son?" Jimmy asked.
"I honestly don't know nor do I care. He didn't have the vision my other children seem to have. After the consortium screwed me over I started looking for the stones myself but unfortunately I couldn't find any of them. I traveled around the globe hundreds of times to find nothing. It was then I decided on my next plan. To let time do the work for me. Every century technology advanced so I figured I would wait for the time when that would happen. But I had to keep myself hidden in secret. At first it wasn't that hard then things changed. The world had advanced much quicker than I expected. I had to distract the world from finding out about myself."
"How did you do that?" Jimmy asked.
"Simple. Ever heard of a thing called world war 1."
Everyone looked at Savage shocked.
"You mad man! You killed millions of people to keep yourself hidden." Sheen shouted.
"Not just that war. But every recognizable one in the last century. World War 2, The Cold War, Vietnam. I caused those conflicts to keep the world looking away."
"You make me sick Savage." Jimmy said in disgust.
"They were all necessary evils. While the world was dealing with it's next tragedy I was gathering elite operatives. Placing them in key locations. Making sure I was on the cutting edge of all new sciences. Then a miracle struck. A meteorite just like the one that changed me mutated Captain Nathanel Saunders. It was then I learned my true origins. My vastly intelligent daughter Martha deduced that the reality stones were cosmic objects. So I came up with a plan that was going to use the vast cosmic power of the Van Pattern belt to track the stones down."
"You used the Neutron Chamber's in rush of energy to pinpoint the stones." Jimmy commented.
"Can you explain to someone who doesn't speak science." Shawn commented.
"He was using the energy pulse like how an animal uses echolocation. The cosmic energy pulse would've in a sense of the word hit one of these reality stones. The stones would have reacted and Savage would've had their location." Jimmy explained.
"Clever as always James. But it didn't work the way I wanted it to."
"Of course it wouldn't have worked. The more the energy field expanded the less energy it was dispersing, plus everyone with active mutant genes were absorbing energy from the pulse. By the time it would hit one of these so called stones you would only have a rough idea."
"And that's why I want you here James. I want you to do two things for me."
"What?" Jimmy asked.
"Using the data I've gathered I want you to build a device capable of tracking the stones."
"And the second thing?"
"I want you to transfer the N-Men's powers to me."
"You're insane if you think I'm going to do that!" Jimmy declared.
"Truth be told. Your compliance isn't a factor." Savage replied, snapping his fingers.
Hypno walked up to them. He opened his third eye and hypnotized Jimmy. "You will do whatever Savage commands." Hypno ordered.
"I will do whatever Savage commands." Jimmy replied.
"There we go." Savage commented.
"Now that you have Neutron. Allow me the honor of killing Estevez." Shawn said walking to Savage.
"No. Not yet. I need him alive." Savage replied.
"I'm sure the genius can still replicate his powers even if he isn't alive." Shawn argued.
"Maybe so. But you'll never get the chance." Savage agreed.
"What?" Shawn replied surprised.
"You see. I don't just want the N-Men's powers, I want all of them."
Savage's words began to make everyone in the room including his own children uncomfortable.
"You mean all of them except us. Right." Max commented.
"No." Savage replied with a sadistic smile. He snapped his fingers again and instantly Evil Special girl super sped into the room and raced straight for Max striking him into a wall knocking him out. Evil Special girl then charged straight for the Losers. She tackled Monica to the ground and delivered a punch to her that knocked her out. She looked straight at Sarah and fired her heat vision at her knocking her away, sending her into Hypno knocking them both out. Force used his telekinetic powers to hold Evil Special girl down.
"Not so tough are you!" he shouted.
Nate raced in and punched Force with enough well force to knock him into a wall knocking him out.
"Why are you helping them?" Shawn asked Nate.
"I'm only loyal to Rush. They make it means I follow them." Nate replied.
Shawn tried to fly away but Evil Special girl grabbed his leg and threw him to the ground knocking him out.
Beautiful looked at Savage in shock. "Why?"
"Oh my wonderful daughter. You were just a means to an end." Savage replied coldly.
Beautiful extended her claws and charged straight for her father. Nate raced to her and began running around her creating a vacuum. Beautiful struggled to breathe gasping for air. Nate stopped. Just before Beautiful could pass out she looked at her sister. "W-Why are you helping him?"
Martha walked up to her. "Like Father said. It's nothing personal." with a swift kick Martha knocked Beautiful out.
"Pack everything. We're going to the compound." Savage ordered. Martha, Nate and Evil Special girl agreed and went to take everything away.
"Soon I will have godhood." Savage said with a sadistic smile.
Well that's it. Apologies for the short chapter. This was originally much longer but like I said before I lost my original files. All I could find was the rough notes I had written prior.
