The Rise and Fall of Super Savage
Savage's Base
Savage had taken all his prisoners back to his HQ.
"James, Martha get to work immediately." Savage ordered.
"Yes Master." Martha replied, "I'll get the genetic scanner at once."
"Genetic scanner?" Jimmy asked.
"A few weeks ago we had the top researcher in genetics Dr Desmond build us a device that can scan the DNA of others. We used it to scan my sister and the speedster to create the Special girl clone and the drug Rush." Martha explained.
"I see." Jimmy replied. "No wonder they're both such failures."
"What!" Martha said offended.
"Using a genetic scanner would have only given you a rough blueprint. No wonder the clone and users of the drug suffer from cellular degeneration." Jimmy explained.
"And what would you have done?" Martha asked.
"Simple. Use Monica."
"What do you mean?" Savage asked.
"Monica is a power vampire. She saps life energy from other people and gains their powers and memories. If we were to build a machine using her to transfer all the powers to you and using stabilizing serum to keep the power within you. There would be a zero percent chance of cellular degeneration." Jimmy explained.
"Does that check out?" Savage asked Martha.
"When he puts it like that. Then yes. It does check out." Martha begrudgingly agreed.
"Then I'm glad someone here actually knows what they're doing." Savage commented before walking out.
Even though she knew he was a hypnotized slave at the moment. Martha couldn't help but scowl at Jimmy showing her up in front of her father.
Retroville
Jimmy's House
Betty was outside the Neutron's frony door thinking about Jimmy.
Flashback
"Jimmy this plan of yours is just insane!" Betty declared.
"B, you just need to trust me." Jimmy replied.
"I trust you. But I also think you're completely insane. If one thing goes wrong. You and everybody else will end up dead."
"I know. But what choice do I have." Jimmy replied walking out the door. "Just make sure you get that letter to my parents."
Betty looked worried for her friend.
Flashback ends
"Well here goes nothing." Betty sighed to herself.
After the revelation of Jimmy's device exploding, Hugh and Judy went through some rough times. They were bombarded with daily death threats, their friends shunned them and Hugh almost lost his job as a car salesman and Judy was almost disbarred. Thankfully time healed those wounds. Well time, and a raging monster that destroyed the town which nobody knew was Jimmy, an Evil Special girl clone terrorizing the city, a misguided speedster robbing people and several terrorist attacks. Basically speaking with each new threat the town faced, there was barely enough time to remember what happened with Jimmy. Now the Neutrons had more or less gotten back to their routines; their friends were speaking to them again, the death threats became more like pranks and they were even making nice headway at their jobs.
Hugh and Judy were enjoying a nice lunch when they heard a knock on the door.
"Hugh could you get that?" Judy asked.
"Sure." Hugh replied, getting up.
Hugh opened the door and saw Betty standing there.
"Nice to see you again Mr Neutron." Betty greeted him.
Hugh was actually pretty bad with faces so he didn't recognize her at first. "I'm sorry. Have we met."
"I'm Betty."
Hugh still looked at her confused.
"Betty Quinlin."
Hugh still gave her a blank expression.
"You know Jimmy's old friend."
Finally it dawned on him, "Oh now I remember. You're one of Jimbo's science chums. Come in." Hugh happily said letting Betty into his home.
The two then met Judy in the kitchen. "Hey Sugar Booger. Guess who dropped by." Hugh said introducing Betty.
"Betty it's been so long. What brings you here?" Judy asked.
"Your son." Betty answered.
Hugh and Judy looked at each other. "What does Jimmy need?" Judy asked.
"Well he didn't really tell me. He just told me to give you this." Betty replied handing the Neutron's a letter.
Judy opened it. As Hugh and Judy read the letter their facial expressions became very serious. "Follow us." Hugh said unusually seriously.
Betty was quite surprised by the change. The two got up and took Betty to their bedroom. "What are we doing here?" Betty asked.
Hugh and Judy looked at each other. "Jimmy must be really in a bind if he asked you here." Judy commented.
Betty was still a bit surprised by the personality shift the Neutrons had. "Yeah, but I don't know why he wanted me to come here."
Hugh and Judy opened their closet. They put their hand on the inner part of the doors and they began to scan their hands, two platforms with ignition keys came up.
"What the heck." Betty said in pure confusion.
Hugh and Judy both pulled out keys, put the keys in the ignitions and turned the keys, opening a door.
"Let's go." Hugh ordered.
As Hugh and Judy stepped through the door they were stopped by Betty's questions. "Okay. What the heck is going on. Why is there a secret door in your closet?"
"I guess we have to explain." Hugh commented.
"Yeah, I think you do." Betty replied, folding her arms.
"You see, on the outside we may seem like two of the most ordinary people on the planet." Hugh began to explain.
"We're kind of stretching the word "normal" but carry on." Betty commented.
"But we are more than that." Judy continued, "You know Jimmy's the fifth smartest person on the planet."
"Yeah, he never shuts up about it." Betty replied.
"Well you're looking at the second and fourth smartest people on the planet."
"I'm sorry WHAT!" Betty said in pure astonishment.
"I'm the second smartest person on the planet." Judy explained with a little pride in her voice.
"It's not a competition dear." Hugh commented, "You see we were both children taken by our families to be a part of some government program."
"They poked and prodded at us. They made us hack, build or whatever to do what they wanted.'' Judy continued.
"It didn't even matter what we wanted. But as luck would have it opportunity struck." Hugh continued.
"We hacked the military database and effectively erased ourselves from existence. Digitally speaking and physically. We burned our files." Judy explained.
"And gave ourselves new identities. And fled to this small town. Where we could live the lives we wanted." Hugh continued.
"You wanted to be a car salesman?" Betty questioned.
"Yes I did. Act or not, I like being Hugh Neutron. It's who I chose to be. He's who I am now and I never want to go back." Hugh replied sternly.
"And I love being Judy. A kickass lawyer who can also take care of her family." Judy added.
"We told Jimmy about us a couple of years ago. We told him he can choose whatever life he wants to live. We may have had intellects that could've changed the world for the better."
"Or worse." Judy added.
"But we didn't want to. We wanted something else for our lives but we weren't going to get in the way of Jimmy's. If he wanted to be a scientist then he would be a scientist." Hugh explained.
"We gave Jimmy a secret code. If we ever heard or in this case read it, we would temporarily drop our personas and help our son." Judy explained.
"Whoa! You two might be the coolest parents ever." Betty commented.
"If we're done with story time. Let's get to work!" Hugh ordered.
"Okay, just one more question. Aren't you afraid the army will find you again?"
"Oh they did." Judy smiled.
"What happened?" Betty asked.
"Let's just say we came to an understanding. If anything happens to us because of them, every "weather balloon" accident they've had over the last decade will become public knowledge."
"I think I liked you better before." Betty gulped.
"Don't worry as soon as we're done here I'll get back to normal. Or the normal I want the world to perceive." Judy replied.
"When this is all over I'm going to pretend I never heard or saw any of this." Betty commented.
"You'd better. Unlike Jimmy we don't play with a memory eraser. Too many variables. We play with a memory extractor. Much more permanent." Hugh commented.
"Like I said. I liked you better before." Betty replied. "So what did Jimmy want you to do."
"He just wants us to spread all of Savage's files across the internet." Hugh answered.
"How long will that take?" Betty asked.
"If we were just dumping the files, a couple minutes at best. But Jimmy wants to ensure everybody sees this, so we're going to hack into every media company, every platform, every streaming service, anything that someone can see on a screen and forcibly put all of Savage's information on them." Hugh explained.
"How long will that take?" Betty asked.
"Done properly in an hour." Judy answered.
Savage's Base
All of Savage's mutant and human prisoners were being held in Savage's prison. All that could be heard was water dropping out of a leaky pipe and Carl singing.
"Nobody knows the trouble I feel! Nobody knows my troubles."
"Can you just shut up!" Monica shouted, "If I'm going to croak. I at least want to die in silence!"
"Well considering the reason I'm about to die is because of you I'll just keep doing what I was doing. It's a small world after all…"
Everyone in their cells began to groan, even the N-Men. "Hey Carl, I know you're trying to stick it to Monica and all but I would really appreciate it if you would put a sock in it!" Sheen calmly stated.
A little bit further the siblings Libby and Shawn were having a conversation. "I hope you're happy Shawn." Libby commented.
"Yes, I am. I'm jumping for joy right now." Shawn sarcastically replied.
"Funny. I hope you understand that we're here because of your dumbass vendetta against Sheen."
"It is not foolish. He betrayed me!"
"How, Shawn? How? Because I've heard the story a hundred times. You set off an alarm, you tried to fight the cops, and you lit yourself on fire, Sheen ran. How the hell did he betray you."
Shawn kept quiet.
"And to think of it, didn't you spout some nonsense about getting respect or something."
Shawn remained quiet.
"So drop the crap and tell me what's really going on. Because if you haven't noticed we're about to die."
Shawn mumbled something completely unintelligible.
"What?" Libby asked.
"I'm mad that he abandoned me okay."
"So you're telling me, you allied yourself with a cult, committed who knows how many crimes, abandoned your family all because your feelings got hurt." Libby elaborated.
Shawn just groaned.
"That can't possibly be true unless… OOOHH. I get it now." Libby said, finally realizing Shawn's true motivation, "You like Sheen."
"What! No!" Shawn denied.
"And I'm not just saying like I mean like, like." Libby said playfully.
"T-That's ridiculous!" Shawn replied, starting to blush.
"Now it all makes sense. Why else would an upper middle class kid knowingly ally himself with a criminal. You did it for love." Libby teased him.
"I am not going to acknowledge what you just said." Shawn replied Libby moving to the back of his cell.
"You better tell him how you feel before we, you know die."
"Same to you." Shawn replied.
In another part of the room, the humans were speaking amongst themselves. Instead of getting a cell each like the mutants, they were all thrown in one cell. "So what do you think they're going to do to us?" Brittany asked.
"If this is anything like the comics I've read. They'll probably keep us alive to do painful experiments on us." Jasmine nonchalantly replied.
"You're taking this well." Nick commented.
"Nick, in the last year I've almost died three times. I'm over freaking out." Jasmine replied.
"Oh my god! I can't believe this is happening to me! I don't deserve this. Who am I kidding? I totally deserve this. I'm never going to get to go to Paris or Shanghai. I'll never get married. This Suck! This totally sucks. I wished he just killed me instead of leaving me to suffer like this. What am I going to do? I don't even have a will. I bet my brother's just going to take all my stuff.'' Megan began ranting in the corner of her cell.
"She is not handling this well." Nick commented.
"Give her time a few more of these. And she'll be whistling a little tone waiting to be rescued." Jasmine commented.
"That's if there is a next time." Brittany commented.
"What do you mean? Cindy and the others will break out, kick the General's butt and have us home in time for breakfast." Nick replied.
"Usually I would like to agree with you but this time it's a little different. Our super powered friends are in cages without their amazing powers. The genius who leads them is currently hypnotized and since the big bad just so happens to be a United States General nobody is actually looking for us." Brittany pointed out.
"Oh!" Jasmine and Nick said in unison.
Jasmine sat down. "So in lame mans terms we're totally fu…"
A little bit further the children of Savage were speaking with one another. "So Cindy was it. How are you liking the family business so far." Beautiful sarcastically asked.
"Gee, how do I answer that." Cindy said playing along, "Well it's horrifying with a touch of disgust and agony."
"Wow she got it in one go." Beautiful replied, slightly impressed.
"I just don't know how this could've happened." Max said to himself. "I did everything for Father. Sacrificed everything and this is how he treats me."
"In hindsight we shouldn't be that surprised." Beautiful commented. "He literally told us stories of him betraying his first born."
"And you still followed him." Cindy commented.
"I don't need to hear from the golden child what's right and wrong." Max replied to her.
"What are you talking about?" Cindy asked.
"How old are you?" Max asked.
"16, why?" she replied.
"Well, I'm twenty and our dear father has had me doing his dirty work since I was eight." Max explained.
"He got me when I was six." Beautiful added.
"You were the kid he actually looked after. You got to go to normal school, he took you camping and read you bedtime stories. Do you know what I got? Training, training and even more training for his cause." Max ranted.
"From the moment I hit puberty he sent me on espionage missions to ensure none of his competition were on to him." Beautiful ranted, her tone of voice changed slightly becoming more tormented and broken, "I let so many people do things to me because of him."
"Why did you do those things for him?" Cindy asked.
"The answer is simple, little sister. We wanted our Dad to love us." Max answered.
"But sadly that never happened." Beautiful said having regained her composure.
"Even poor Martha up there is trying her best for a man she knows will never care about her." Max added.
"We almost came to believe maybe dear old Dad was incapable of feeling love." Beautiful said.
"That was until you." Max added.
"What do you mean?" Cindy asked.
"Like I said before. He treated you like his actual kid. He didn't even tell you who he was. Why do you think that?"
Cindy remained quiet.
"Because he cares about you." Beautiful answered for her.
"He let you live the life all of us prayed for but knew we could never get. In fact I would bet if you weren't a mutant like all of us you still wouldn't know." Max continued.
"Little good it's done me being his so called favorite. I'm in a cell just like the rest of you." Cindy commented.
"For now." Max replied.
"He's right. We're not dead yet." Beautiful agreed.
Martha's Lab
Jimmy and Martha were hard at work building Savage's power draining machine. Savage walked into the room. "How are things progressing?"
"We are way ahead of schedule." Martha delightfully replied.
"The only thing left to do is test the serum." Jimmy said in a dazed state.
"What do you mean?" Savage asked.
"To ensure the stabilizing serum works I need to test out a mutant creation serum I just invented."
"Why do you need to do that?" Savage asked.
"Because I lack the cosmic radiation from the van pattern belt I have created a serum that will force the mutant gene to activate but it won't stay active for long. I will use the stabilizing serum to ensure the gene stays active. For your plan to work we need to make sure the serum works."
"Understood. Martha get the guards to bring those powerless teenagers here for testing." Savage ordered before walking off.
"Yes Master." she bowed, Martha then scowled at Jimmy. "Just you wait kid. I'll kill you myself when this is all over." she said before leaving the room.
Jimmy's facial expression went from a blank stare to a cocky smile, "We'll see."
Prison Cells
Savage walked towards his children. "Hello children." he greeted them.
"Father." Max scoffed.
"Oh look, the prodigal father has returned." Beautiful commented.
"What are you doing here?" Cindy asked.
"I'm here for you my dear." Savage replied to Cindy.
"Oh here we go." Max commented.
"Saw it coming a mile away." Beautiful added.
"What do you want from me?" Cindy asked.
"I want you to join me, Cindy. I want you to stand by my side."
"You must be joking."
"I am not. I can spare you from the fate everyone else is going to experience. But you have to agree to serve me."
"Read my lips. Go to He…"
"Insulant girl!" Savage shouted, "Is this how you're going to repay me after everything I've done for you!"
"You honestly think I would do anything for you after all the crap you've pulled. You've killed millions, ruined even more lives, even sacrificed your own kids. Only a fool would take anything you say at face value."
"Then so be it." Savage replied to her having regained his composure, "I'll just make another one. Maybe this one won't be such a disappointment like all of you were."
At that moment Savage's guards were carrying Nick, Jasmine, Brittany and Megan away.
"Hey let me go!" Brittany shouted.
"Get your hands off me!" Jasmine shouted.
"Somebody help us!" Megan shouted.
Nick just grunted and screamed as he tried to fight off the men.
"What are you going to do to them?" Cindy asked.
"I would tell you, but a certain young lady just told me to go to hell. I must be going." Savage smirked walking away.
"SAVAGE! Come back here! What are you going to do to my friends!" Cindy shouted.
"You should've taken him on his offer." Max commented.
"You might have been able to save your friends." Beautiful agreed.
Martha's Lab
Nick, Jasmine, Brittany and Megan were dragged into Martha's lab and strapped to operating tables. "What do you think they're going to do to us!?" Megan cried.
"Painful experiments." Jasmine bluntly answered.
"Jasmine." Brittany called her out.
"The last thing this girl needs is to be lied to. What else do you think they'll do to us. We're on medical tables."
"Really wish I listened to my Mom and went to that boarding school in England." Nick commented.
At that moment Jimmy walked into the room with eight different vials of serum. Four were colored blue, the rest were colored red. Martha was holding various objects; a taser, a glass of water, A metal pipe, and an elastic band.
"Hey Neutron! If you can hear me. Fight this. We need that big brain of yours." Nick shouted trying to get through to Jimmy.
Jimmy gave him a blank stare and put one of the blue vials into a syringe.
"What are you going to do with that?" Nick asked.
Without hesitation Jimmy injected Nick with the serum. Nick began to scream in pain.
"Now, hit him with the taser." Jimmy ordered Martha.
Though not pleased, Martha did exactly what Jimmy asked and struck Nick with the taser. Nick began to scream louder then suddenly electricity began to bounce off his body.
"Astonishing." Martha said, impressed, "Not only did you activate his mutant gene but you determined what powers he was going to get."
Jimmy then injected the red serum into Nick. Nick calmed down and passed out.
"How are the vitals?" Jimmy asked.
"They're… Stable." Martha said surprised. "Test subject 1 was a success."
"Now for test subject 2." Jimmy said, looking at Jasmine.
"They're making us mutants!" Jasmine said, trying to hide her excitement.
"I don't want to be a mutant." Megan shouted.
Jimmy walked up to Jasmine and injected her with the serum. Jasmine began to scream in pain like Nick, Martha then poured water all over her but nothing happened.
"What's going on?" Martha asked.
Jimmy held up his scanner, "It appears this one has no mutant gene."
The news startled Jasmine, "N-No! That can't be true! Maybe your weird science juice doesn't work!"
"My test is for the stabilizer. The serum is guaranteed to work on a potential mutant." Jimmy replied.
The news hit Jasmine like a punch to the gut; she didn't say another word. She just had a blank stare on her face.
"Guess we'll have to move on to subject 3." Jimmy said walking up to Brittany. "Give her the metal bar."
Martha forcibly put a metal bar in Brittany's hands, Jimmy then injected her with the blue serum, Brittany began to scream in pain as her skin began to become more metallic. Martha went in to try to inject her with the red serum but Jimmy stopped her.
"That won't work right now. Wait for her to calm down."
As Brittany's screams began to die down, parts of her body began to look normal.
"Now! Before she completely changes back!" Jimmy ordered.
Martha quickly injected Brittany with the red serum causing the girl to pass out.
"Test subject 3 is also stable." Martha commented.
"Time for the final test subject."
"Please I beg you! Don't do this to me! I'm too beautiful to be a mutant." Megan tried to plead with him.
Jimmy ignored her and injected Megan with the blue serum. Like the other Megan began to scream in pain.
"Now the elastic band!" Jimmy ordered.
Martha placed the elastic band on Megan. Megan began to melt on the table.
Martha began to panic, "What do we do…"
"Just be patient, she'll slowly go back to normal. Inject her when she's solid enough." Jimmy replied, slightly dropping his act which Martha failed to notice.
Like Jimmy said, Megan began to regain her shape and began to solidify. The moment she felt comfortable enough, Martha quickly acted, injecting Megan with the red serum.
While Martha was busy with that Jimmy quickly snuck to Jasmine and put a piece of paper, a USB and a third device in her pocket which the girl noticed but chose to remain silent.
Megan became human again and passed out.
"And subject 4 is also a success." Martha said happily. "Three out of four test subjects I must admit Father was right to hold you in such high regard. And with one serum still remaining we don't have to make more."
Jimmy noticed this and quickly moved, accidentally tripping, dropping the last vile of red serum.
"Just like a mindless slave to be so careless. Let's go before you break something else." Martha commented, "Guards take them back to their cells. And make sure the dampeners are on."
Two guards ran into the room and took the kids back to their cells. While waiting for everyone to awaken, Jasmine pulled out the piece of paper Jimmy gave her. It had instructions on it.
"Wow! Didn't see this coming."
Flashback
Jimmy and Betty were having an argument.
"Jimmy, this is not going to work! This is way too big of a risk!" Betty shouted.
"It will work." Jimmy replied.
"You told me that only 5% of earth's population has the mutant gene. How on earth could you possibly guarantee our serum's going to work?" Betty asked.
"I don't have any guarantee's B. I just have hope."
"Hope! You're going to get yourself and those kids killed."
"Betty, I don't have many options. All I need is for one of them to have the gene. Just one."
"And what if none of them have it?" Betty asked.
"Then I'll need to come up with a good plan B fast." Jimmy replied.
Flash Back End
A few minutes later the others began to wake up.
"What happened?" Nick groaned.
"My head feels like it's on fire." Brittany groaned holding her head.
"I can't feel my face." Megan groaned.
"Great you guys are awake." Jasmine commented. "Are you okay?"
"I feel okay, but what happened? " Nick asked.
"Nothing big. Jimmy just turned the three of you into mutants." Jasmine answered him.
"What!" they all said in unison. It all began to come back to them. They all remembered the experiment that was done to them.
"I don't know how I feel about this." Nick commented.
"Neither do I." Brittany commented.
"I'm totally freaking out." Megan said hyperventilating.
"Well get a hold of yourself. We better get going now." Jasmine commented.
"What are you talking about?" Nick asked, "We're in this cell."
Jasmine handed Nick the paper Jimmy gave her. Nick began to read it.
"I'm truly sorry about what I did to all of you. We're in a dire situation, I neither had the time nor the opportunity to ask for your consent. I have a mission for you. Under what I've written here there is a map of this facility. I need you to take the flash drive and plug it into this base's central computer. If you do accept this mission the device I gave one of you is a long lasting EMP it will disable the power dampeners that would probably be in place and as your making your way to the central computer it will disable the cameras and coms so nobody will be able to call for help. Don't worry it is not strong enough to deactivate the central computer. I know you might want to immediately save the team but that would be a massive error. They will probably be guarded by the Special girl clone and I know that none of you will be able to stop her. To quote a famous movie, please help. You're my only hope."
After reading the letter the teens were left with a massive choice.
"What do we do?" Brittany asked.
"I don't know." Nick replied.
"We have to help." Jasmine declared.
"Help!" Megan panted, "We're not some superhero team. We only got our powers 10 minutes ago. If we go out there. We are going to die!"
Nick and Brittany thought about what Megan was saying. On some level she was right. They had next to no training and they were going against highly trained soldiers. The odds were not in their favor.
Even though she was still struggling with the news she couldn't become a mutant Jasmine stepped up to lead the teens, "Listen guys. The N-Men aren't coming to save us. They need saving. Look I know this situation seems completely hopeless. Because, well… It is. But it's our time to be heroes. We need to do this. Cindy once told me when she first became a mutant she had to fight Stone. You know the guy who tried to kill the whole town. She won. And we can too. We just need to believe we can. Jimmy Neutron didn't pick us for nothing."
"I'm not really sure he had much of a choice." Brittany commented.
"Even if that's the case. No one else is coming. It's up to us." Jasmine said putting her hand in between everyone.
Even though none of them were particularly excited about what they were about to do; Nick, Brittany and Megan decided to join in.
"Fine. I'm in." Nick said putting his hand on top of Jasmine.
"Me too." Brittany agreed, putting her hand on top of Nick's.
The three looked at Megan who was extremely nervous. "Come on… Uhm I didn't quite catch your name." Jasmine commented.
"It's Megan."
"Come on Megan. We can't do this without you."
Megan thought about it, she thought of the risks then she thought about Becky's parents and how she never got a chance to apologize to them and she wouldn't if she died here. It was at that moment Megan made her mind up. "I'm in." she said, placing her hand on top of Brittany's.
"All right! From this moment forward we are the New Mutants. Protectors of Retroville. Let's go." Jasmine said before activating the device that Jimmy gave her, disabling the power dampeners. Nick's hands began to spark, Brittany's body became metallic, and Megan's body became all stretchy before going back to normal.
Flashback
"Okay, even if you give those guys powers. How are you going to guarantee they'll be able to use their powers effectively?" Betty asked.
"I can't explain it. But it seems mutants instinctively know how to use their powers after gaining them." Jimmy explained.
"How could you possibly know that?" Betty asked.
"I've been watching the others. Special girl, Stone, Force, Invisible girl and Echo. All of them never actually had a problem using their powers. I just hope Nick, Jasmine, Brittany and Megan have that trait too." Jimmy replied.
Flashback Ends
"You guys ready?" Jasmine asked.
The others nodded their heads as they busted out of their cells.
"Hey what are you doing!?" one of the stationed guards shouted. The other guards heard him and ran towards the teens with their weapons ready. They instantly began firing at the teens, Jasmine and Nick ducked and went straight for cover, Megan stood still as the bullets hit but were deflected because they couldn't pierce her new elastic skin. "Stop that tickles!" she giggled.
Brittany armored up and went to confront the guards. Their bullets bounced off her as well. "This is kinda cool." she commented.
Brittany ran straight for the guards and tackled a few of them to the ground. Nick wanting to help got out of his hiding spot and fired bolts of electricity electrocuting almost all of the guards.
"Is that all of them?" Nick asked.
"No." one of the guards shouted, having captured Jasmine holding her at gunpoint. "Now listen here, freaks. You're going to get back in your cell nice and slow or the girl gets it."
Nick and Brittany didn't know what to do.
"No!" Megan shouted quickly, stretching her arm disarming the guard. Seeing him unarmed Nick fired a bolt of electricity knocking him down.
"Well that was scary." Megan commented.
"Yeah. Do you think I killed those guys?" Nick asked.
Brittany and Jasmine looked back and saw the virtually cooked human beings.
"They're fine." Jasmine smiled nervously.
"No. You only knocked them out." Brittany lied.
"Really." Nick said wanting to see the bodies for himself.
"We really don't have time for that." Brittany said turning him away.
"Yeah. We have a bad guy to stop." Jasmine agreed, pushing him forward.
"Well, okay then." Nick agreed.
Megan looked back and saw the cooked corpses. And nervously followed them.
The group made their way to the central computer fighting off, everyone that got in their way. Eventually the group made it to the central computer.
"Is this the place?" Brittany asked.
"Yup, according to the map." Jasmine answered.
"Why are there no guards?" Nick asked.
"Maybe they just didn't have enough to protect this whole place." Megan suggested.
"Or more believably they have some ultra security measure." Jasmine said nervously.
"We still have Neutron's EMP thing so we should be fine." Nick commented.
"Hopefully." Brittany commented.
The teens walked to the sealed metal door. Brittany armored up and used her increased strength to pry the doors open. Teens walked into the room.
"So which port do we choose?" Megan asked.
"I don't think it matters. Jimmy's letter just told us to plug it in. Nothing more." Jasmine replied.
At that moment a cute little robot walked over to them. "Aww, that's so cute!" Megan swooned.
"Where can I get my own!" Brittany agreed.
"I know." Jasmine agreed.
Nick was the only one still on task, "Guys why is there a toy robot here anyway."
The tiny bot looked up at them, "Greetings, I am Killbot. State your name and rank please."
"That is so cute!" Megan squealed.
"What should we do with him?" Nick asked.
"I don't know." Jasmine replied.
Unbeknownst to the group little Killbot began to transform, he started to grow in size becoming much more threatening. Brittany was the first to notice. "Ahh guys!" she said concerned.
The others looked at Killbot in fear. "State your name and rank or die!" Killbot ordered.
"What do we do? We need a plan." Megan panicked.
"I have a plan. Attack!" Brittany declared armoring up.
Brittany leaped into the air and attacked the bot. Killbot knocked her into the ground. Brittany quickly got up and struck Killbot several times in the chest. Killbot grabbed her and threw her into the ground.
"Guess we need a plan B." Nick commented.
Martha's Lab
Jimmy and Martha had finished the power draining machine. It was a large machine with several capsules attached to it. There was a separate capsule that was a little further from the massive machine and a little ahead of it was a platform with two rods.
Savage had gathered the heroes and the villains with power dampening collars on her neck.
"What do we have here?" Savage asked, impressed.
"With this machine you will have the combined powers of all the mutants." Martha began to explain, "We'll put the mutants into those pods." she explained, gesturing to the large machine, "We'll put Monica into that pod." she explained, gesturing to the separate capsule, "When we activate the machine, all you have to do is touch the power rods."
"Excellent. When can we begin?" Savage asked.
"Immediately." Martha answered.
"Then let's get started. " Savage said excitedly.
Jimmy, still putting his facade on wondered why; Brittany, Megan, Jasmine and Nick hadn't finished their mission and looked on worried for his friends.
Central Computer Room
Killbot had just knocked Brittany into the ground. Nick charged in, "Jasmine go plug in that flash drive! We'll handle this!'
"We will." Megan said nervously.
Nick fired a bolt of electricity that stunned Killbot. Using that as an opportunity to run Jasmine went to go find a port of the USB.
Killbot's arm transformed into a gun; it fired a form-like substance that covered Nick, effectively insulating him.
"Ah oh." Nick commented.
Killbot went straight for Nick and prepared to step on him. Megan went in and stretched herself around Killbot, preventing him from moving.
"Thanks." Nick commented.
"D-Don't mention it!" Megan groaned as she struggled to restrain Killbot.
Jasmine was running around trying to find a port. "Come on! Where is it! Where is it! You're telling me a room this big has no ports!" she complained.
Brittany finally regained consciousness. "Are we winning?" she asked Nick walking up to him.
"Kind of." Nick answered, "Megan's trying her best to hold that thing down. We need a plan to take that thing down."
"I have one. I'll hit that thing really hard." Brittany suggested.
"How is that a plan?" Nick asked.
"Listen. Maybe I can punch a whole into that thing. You fire some lightning and we take it out."
"That could work." Nick agreed.
"CAN YOU TWO PLEASE HURRY!" Megan screamed.
Brittany armored herself up and charged straight for Killbot. Using all her strength, Brittany managed to punch a whole into Killbot.
"Do it now!" Brittany shouted.
"But the both of you are still…"
"Just shoot us!" Brittany and Megan screamed in unison.
Nick did as they commanded, firing a bolt of electricity that struck Brittany. The chain reaction of short circuited Killbot but also caused both Brittany and Megan to scream in pain and collapse.
"Are you two okay!?" Nick rushed to them.
"I'm never doing that again." Brittany groaned.
"Ditto." Megan agreed.
"I hope Jasmine's having better luck than us." Nick commented.
Jasmine was still running around searching for a USB port. "Aghh! Why is this so hard!" she screamed running past a port. Jasmine quickly realized this and made her way back. "Finally?" she shouted, plugging the USB in. "What now?" she asked herself.
Without warning the monitors in the room began to glow red.
Nick, Brittany and Megan caught up with her. "Did it work?" Nick asked.
"I think so." Jasmine replied.
"What do we do now?" Megan asked.
"Save our friends." Jasmine declared.
Martha's Lab
Everyone was in their designated position. Martha was preparing to activate the machine and Jimmy was just standing idly by waiting for Nick, Jasmine, Brittany and Megan to complete their mission.
"How much longer?" Savage asked.
"Not much just running a diagnostics test. Don't want this machine exploding." Martha replied.
"You're never going to get away with this!" Cindy shouted from her pod.
"Yes my dear. I think I will." Savage replied.
"I swear. If I ever get out of this thing. I'm going to kill you!" Monica declared from her pod.
Sheen from his pod stared at his brother who was standing guard with the Evil Special girl. "Nate. You have to stop this! This maniac is going to kill us."
"Guess you don't win this time brother." Nate coldy replied.
"Guess this is it guys." Carl said from his pod.
"Yeah. It was fun while it lasted." Libby agreed.
"You guys are the best friends in the world a guy could wish for." Sheen said.
"I only wish I got a chance to tell him how I felt." Cindy commented.
"I'm sure Nick knew how you felt." Carl tried to console her.
"Nick." Cindy said, slightly confused. "Oh right! Nick. My boyfriend. That's who I meant."
Both Sheen and Libby knew who exactly Cindy was talking about. Carl on the other hand was completely clueless.
Martha finished the system diagnostics, "Everything's ready. Commence countdown. 10, 9, 8, 7, 6."
As Martha began her countdown it sent a shiver through most of the captives' spines. Some accepted their fate while the rest did small prayers.
"5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Engage." Martha said activating the machine.
A blue light began to shine from the platform Monica was standing on. She instantly began to scream in pain. The blue energy traveled to the big machine and soon the platforms the heroes and villains were standing on began to glow blue as well, instantly they began to scream in pain like Monica. The two rods Savage was standing near began to glow.
"It is time!" Savage said before grabbing the rods.
Savage's body began to glow with energy. His hair began to stand up and his eyes began to glow blue.
"I CAN FEEL IT! I CAN FEEL IT! THE POWER!" he shouted. Suddenly the cybernetic prosthetic arm Martha had built for him fell off and a new arm began to regenerate. Soon after his cybernetic legs fell off and new ones quickly regenerated, replacing them. And lastly his cybernetic eye fell out and a new one regenerated.
Jimmy began to be increasingly more concerned. But his worries were short lived. At that moment every computer in the room began to glow red.
"What's going on?" Martha asked.
"Finally." Jimmy said dropping his act. "I was getting sick and tired of spending time with you."
"What!? You're supposed to be hypnotized!" Martha shouted.
"What can I say. I'm a great actor." Jimmy replied.
Martha pulled out a knife and went straight in to attack Jimmy. Jimmy quickly dodged her, knocked the knife out of her hand and punched her incredibly hard in the jaw knocking her out.
"Sorry Savage but I'm putting a stop to your little power play." Jimmy commented, walking over to the control panel.
"Stop him!" Savage ordered Nate and Evil Special girl. Nate immediately used his super speed to move Jimmy out of the way and restrain him.
"Didn't think this through, huh genius." Nate commented.
"Actually yes I did." Jimmy smirked. Jimmy's eyes changed from blue to green, his skin began to turn orange and his hair green. Jimmy broke out of Nate's hold and tossed him across the room. Jimmy's body then began to grow larger, becoming more muscular. Ripping the shirt he was wearing to shreds, eventually becoming the Hulk.
Both Savage and Evil Special girl looked in shock.
Flashback
Jimmy had just told Betty and Hulk that he was going to face Savage alone.
"You two just need to trust me." Jimmy commented.
"We do trust you. We also trust that you will most certainly die if you face that mad man." Betty replied.
"Maybe but I have a plan." Jimmy replied walking over to his equipment, "It's incredibly risky and only has a 52% chance of working. There are a lot of variables but I think it can work."
"What is it?" Hulk asked.
"I'll explain soon. But I need something from you first, Hulk." Jimmy replied.
"What?" Hulk asked.
"I need the both of us to remerge." Jimmy answered by bringing two disk shaped devices to Hulk.
"What!?" Hulk shouted in surprise.
"It's the only way we can win." Jimmy replied. "Savage is know doubt going to use Hypno to hypnotize me. You can easily snap me back into reality. He can only Hypnotize one of us."
"If you think I'm going to go back into your subconscious. You're insane."
"It's not going to be like that this time Hulk. The last time there were a lot of factors. You and I didn't see eye to eye, the Cerebro inhibitor was blocking your consciousness from mine and we were basically fighting for control. As long as we accept each other as parts of one another the merge will be completely different. Trust me Hulk the last thing I want to do is cause you more pain."
Hulk looked at Jimmy and believed him, "Fine. I'll trust you, Neutron. But I swear, if you betray me. Savage will be the last thing you should be afraid of."
"I understand." Jimmy agreed. Jimmy handed Hulk one of the disk shaped devices.
"What do I do with this?" Hulk asked.
"I've been working on these devices for a couple of weeks now. You put that disk on your chest. I put the one I have on mine. When I activate them we will assimilate into one another."
"Are you sure this will work?" Hulk asked, putting the disk on his chest.
"Not really sure this is my first test."
"Wait What!?" Hulk shouted.
"Fusing time." Jimmy ignored him, activating the devices. Both Hulk and Jimmy turned into energy and the two energy's joined together. When everything settled the energy reformed into Jimmy.
"Jimmy are you okay?" Betty asked.
"I feel great." Jimmy commented, "Hulk are you there?"
[When Hulk or Jimmy are speaking while one is in control it will be written in bold]
"Yeah. I am. This feels weird."
"It worked." Jimmy said excitedly.
"What worked?" Betty asked.
"I can hear Hulk in my mind." Jimmy answered her. "While I'm in control of the body he can see and hear everything I can." Jimmy quickly took off his shirt. "Let's hope this works."
Jimmy transformed into Hulk.
"I'm back." Hulk commented.
"You see, big guy. Now you're in control of the body. It's like a switch."
"I see." Hulk said understanding.
"You see what?" Betty asked.
"Sorry. Was talking to Jimmy." Hulk apologized to Betty.
"That's going to get old very quickly." she commented.
"Let me have control again."
Hulk did what Jimmy asked, transforming back into Jimmy. "Now that that's sorted. Betty, we have some work to do."
Flashback ends
"It's good to be back." Hulk declared.
"It's only been a few hours."
"A few hours is a lifetime when you can't move your own arms." Hulk replied.
"Technically their "our" arms."
"Whatever. What should I do now?" Hulk asked.
"You see that panel over there. Smash it."
Hulk looked over and saw the control panel. "With pleasure." he smiled.
"Don't let him interfere with the transfer!" Savage shouted to Evil Special girl.
Evil Special girl immediately acted using her heat vision to send Hulk back.
"Are you okay?"
"Come on you felt that too. It only tickled." Hulk replied.
"Talking to yourself. Nice." Evil Special girl commented.
"You sure you want to do this? I took down the N-Men by myself." Hulk asked.
"I'm better than those losers." Evil Special girl replied.
"Doubt it." Hulk replied.
Evil Special girl lost her cool and instantly attacked Hulk. She gave Hulk two good punches to his face that sent him flying into a wall. Before Hulk could recover, she flew straight for Hulk, tackling him through several walls. Before Hulk could get up, Evil Special girl grabbed his leg and spun him around, she let go sending through another set of walls into a room with many vehicles inside. Evil Special girl then picked up a tank and began repeatedly smashing it into Hulk. When the tank was completely destroyed she stopped her assault.
"How… Was… That?" she panted.
It looked like Hulk was unconscious.
"Guess he wasn't as tough as everybody said."
Inside the small crater that Evil Special girl made, Hulk was lying down smirking.
"What are you doing?"
"Shhh, shut up I'm trying to trick her." Hulk replied.
"A I'm in your head. She can't hear me. And B stop messing around, Savage is almost at full power!"
"Okay, okay. You're taking the fun out of this." Hulk replied standing up, barely fazed by Evil Special girl's assault.
"W-What!? How!?" Evil Special girl said in disbelief.
"Simple. Hulk's the strongest one there is." Hulk said cockily.
Evil Special girl charged straight for Hulk, Hulk managed to dodge her, he quickly grabbed her leg and began to repeatedly smash Evil Special girl into the ground eventually knocking her out.
Hulk smiled, "Puny clone." Hulk let her go and proudly walked back to Martha's lab.
Hulk made it back to the lab where he looked for Savage but couldn't find him. Suddenly Hulk was blasted away back by a sound blast.
"Sorry James. You're too late." Savage said, descending towards Hulk holding a vial of the red serum. Hulk looked at the machine the heroes and villains were trapped in and saw them unconscious, barely alive.
"I'm not Jimmy." Hulk stated, getting ready to fight Savage.
"I have finally achieved ultimate power. There is no way you can stop me." Savage declared drinking the red serum. "Now that I will permanently keep these powers."
"You wanna bet?" Hulk asked leaping straight for Savage, Savage flew straight at Hulk. The two went in with a punch, their fists collided, it created a massive shockwave that sent the both of them back.
Hulk was the first to get up.
"Hulk you need to confront this very carefully. Savage has the combined powers of almost every mutant."
"But he doesn't have the most powerful one." Hulk replied.
"He already got Carl."
"I'm going to let that one go." Hulk replied.
Savage got up, "I see the rumors about your strength weren't exaggerated."
"Trust me. I haven't even broken a sweat." Hulk replied.
The two charged at each other again, Savage punched Hulk in the face but it barely fazed the beast, Hulk grabbed Savage and slammed him into the ground. He then kicked Savage, which sent the villain into a wall.
"He's not so tough." Hulk commented.
"He just got his new powers. It will take him time to adapt. But when he does I fear we won't be powerful enough to stop him."
"Hhmm, I'd like to see that." Hulk replied.
Savage got up, and dusted himself off. "Well that was a nice warm up. Let's get serious."
Hulk leaped at Savage, but was stopped mid air by Savage using Force's telekinetic powers.
"Let's see how much punishment you can take." Savage unleashed a punch on Hulk that sent the beast flying through a wall.
Hulk easily got back up, "Is that the best you can do?"
"No. How about some simple math. What do you get when you combine Special girl and Flash's speed with Special girl's super strength with a fist wrapped in one of invisible girl's force fields?" Savage asked with his right hand surrounded in a force field sphere.
"Jimmy?" Hulk asked Jimmy.
"To put it simply Hulk. One mean punch."
Savage charged at Hulk with his ultra speed and delivered a punch so powerful it sent Hulk through several walls.
"Bet that didn't tickle." Savage chuckled.
Hulk rubbed his chin. "That didn't hurt at all."
"What are you talking about! That hurt! A lot!"
"Shut up I don't want him to know that." Hulk replied.
"As much fun as it has been messing around with you, I have other things to do today." Savage commented.
Savage sped over to Hulk with his ultra speed and placed his hands above Hulk's ears, he then unleashed a powerful sonic blast that caused Hulk to scream in pain. When Savage stopped, Hulk passed out, transforming back into Jimmy.
"Hulk! Hulk! Are you okay!?" Jimmy shouted but got know reply. "I don't believe it. You knocked out the Hulk."
"It seems you have another personality. Or better put, "had" another personality." Savage commented.
"I was not expecting him to be this powerful." Jimmy commented.
Savage then began to telekinetically choke and levitate Jimmy off the ground. "You've been a thorn in my side for too long James. It was fun but all things must come to an end."
Before Savage could snap Jimmy's neck he was blasted back by a bolt of electricity.
"Need some help." Nick said running to Jimmy with Brittany, Megan and Jasmine.
"Definitely." Jimmy replied.
"What's going on?" Brittany asked.
Jimmy tried to explain the situation to the teen, "Savage has absorbed the life energy of basically all the heroes and villains basically becoming some kind of…'
"Super Savage!" Jasmine interrupted.
"Yes." Jimmy agreed, "We need to hold him off for as long as we can."
"Why?" Megan asked.
"You see…"
Jimmy was interrupted by Savage speeding into the room. "I see the experiments have escaped their cages." he commented.
"Explanations later." Nick shouted, firing a bolt of electricity at Savage which managed to stun the villain.
Savage created a force field to protect himself; he then fired a sonic blast at Nick that sent the teen hard into a wall, knocking him out.
Brittany armored up and charged at Savage. She threw several punches at him, Savage easily dodged her. Savage then gave Brittany two solid punches that sent the girl back, he then grabbed Brittany's head and dragged her through the ground breaking it apart before throwing her into the wall.
Brittany struggled to get up. Savage fired a sonic blast that sent Brittany through the wall, knocking her out.
While he was distracted Megan used her stretchy powers to wrap herself around Savage. Savage used a force field dome to expand Megan away from him. He then released the force field, firing an ice beam that froze the girl.
"Well that didn't last long." Jasmine commented.
Jimmy wasn't listening to Jasmine, he was counting down to something, "10, 9, 8, 7, 6."
"What are you doing! Savage's going to kill us!" Jasmine shouted.
"Right you are." Savage ultra sped to them, grabbing them both by their necks. "It's over for you James. Any last words?"
"One." Jimmy replied.
Instantly Savage dropped the two teens. "W-What's happening to me?"
Jimmy immediately punched Savage in the face which sent the old man back,"That was therapeutic." Jimmy said, rubbing his fist. "You see all that power you just got. It's going back to its rightful owners."
"How!? But the serum."
"Come on General. I was never hypnotized. You honestly think that I would've permanently given you all that power."
"But Martha…"
"May be an okay scientist but she's not really all that good at chemistry. All I needed to do was mess around with the ingredients a little and voila the serum doesn't work anymore. And since Monica's powers have a return to sender policy and since you're not actually Monica the powers you gained were not only temporary but would leave you a lot faster than they would her. And to put more salt on the wound remember when your computers were flashing red a couple of minutes ago, well I got these guys over there to put a virus in your central computer corrupting and deleting all your files."
"You mean…"
"Everything you've gathered digitally over the last decade. And to add even more salt on the wound, all the data you had on the location of the Reality Stones is gone. I've also successfully decrypted the files I stole from you and have given them to every government on the planet. The operatives you hid have been exposed. Your many base locations revealed, basically speaking you have nothing left."
"I-I can't. I can't believe it!"
"Believe what? That I a 16 year old boy completely out smarted and out played you a 50,000 year old man."
Savage instantly broke down and began hitting the ground, "No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! This can't be happening to me! I was so close! I won! NOOOOOOOOOOO!"
"It's such a shame when villains can't take losing like good sports." Jimmy smirked.
"I swear you'll pay for this Neutron! You'll pay with your life! GET ME OUT OF HERE!" Savage shouted.
At that moment Evil Special girl raced into the room and escaped with Savage.
Nate had regained consciousness and grabbed Martha, escaping with her.
"What do we do now?" Jasmine asked.
"Get these three to healing pods, free our friends and get out of here." Jimmy answered.
"What about the remaining guards?" Jasmine asked.
"I'll take them if they bother us."
"Oh, I see your back." Jimmy said to Hulk.
"Who's back?" Jasmine asked.
"Oh this is kinda hard to explain. You see, after I transformed into that monster…"
"Oh I get it now. You two somehow separated from one another then you figured out how to remerge now you guys have some kind of symbiotic relationship sharing one body. And you can hear each other but only through your thoughts right." Jasmine explained.
"Wow. That's actually correct. How did you…"
"I've read a lot of comic books Jimmy. This kind of thing happens a lot."
"I like her. Are you sure her and the fat one are for real."
"Shut up. He's my best friend." Jimmy replied.
"What did he say?" Jasmine asked.
"Oh nothing, just that he likes you." Jimmy replied.
"Aww, that's sweet. Tell him I like him too." Jasmine replied.
"Soon you will be ours."
"I told you! It's not going to happen!" Jimmy replied.
"Oh sorry." Jasmine replied.
"No! I wasn't talking to you I was talking to him." Jimmy tried to explain.
"Is it because you have a crush on the blonde one. Don't worry we can have them both."
"Is this what it's going to be like for us from now on?" Jimmy asked.
"You're the one who wanted to remerge, not me."
"Aghh!" Jimmy groaned, smacking his head.
An hour later with little to no disturbance from the soldiers who had fled the compound the moment the systems crashed. The heroes, villains and Savage's children were all recovered and prepared to leave the base.
"I would say thank you. But that's against my style." Shawn said to Jimmy.
"No problem." Jimmy replied.
"So what do we do now? Duke it out." Force asked.
"I think we've all had enough fighting for one day. Why don't we just call it a temporary truce." Jimmy said.
"Agreed." Max said.
"What are you going to do now?" Cindy asked him.
"I think me and Beautiful need to do some soul searching." Max replied.
"We'll be seeing you around sis." Beautiful said.
Max held Beautiful's hand and the two teleported away.
"You know you don't have to go." Libby said to Shawn.
"Yes I do. This feud between Estevez and me isn't over." Shawn replied, igniting his hands, "The next time we see each other Sheen will be the last time." he said before flying off with Sarah, Force holding Monica and Hypno following him.
"And I'll be ready." Sheen replied.
"Let's go home. This has been an exhausting day." Libby groaned.
"First I wanted to apologize to all of you." Jimmy said stepping ahead of everyone, "Nick, Megan and Brittany. I'm sorry that I made you all mutants without your consent. Sheen and Carl. I'm sorry I made you both keep my secrets. It wasn't fair to do that to you. Libby I'm sorry I kept you out of the loop. You've been a part of this team longer than Sheen or Carl. It wasn't fair that you were left out. And Cindy I'm sorry that I kept your father's secret from you. I know it was wrong. I just needed to gather enough evidence so you'd believe me when I told you. I also had to make sure you weren't working with him. I'm just sorry."
"Look dude you were just looking out for everyone. We understand. " Sheen commented.
"Yeah, we know you weren't being malicious." Carl agreed.
"I may not be happy about being left out but you got me this far Neutron, I'm not going to drop you just yet." Libby commented.
"Dude you gave me superpowers as far as I'm concerned we're cool." Nick commented.
"He's right. This is really dope." Brittany agreed.
"I may not have been a fan to begin with but I must really tell you stretching around is really fun." Megan agreed.
Cindy remained silent and walked straight to Jimmy. Everyone remained silent in anticipation of what she might do or say.
"Cindy." Jimmy said.
Cindy punched Jimmy in his chest knocking him to the ground.
"Okay, I deserve that!" Jimmy groaned getting back up.
It looked like Cindy was about to hit again but she instead hugged him. "I'm mad at you but I'm just glad you're okay!" she said as she began to cry with Jimmy patting her on her back while hugging her back.
Retroville
Everyone went back to their homes. Sheen met up with his father, grandmother, brother and sister and hugged them. Carl met with his moms and happily hugged them. Libby met up with her parents and hugged them. Nick met up with his mother and hugged her. Brittany met with her uncle and hugged him. Megan met with her Dads and hugged them. Jasmine met up with her parents and hugged them. Jimmy met up with Betty and his parents and hugged them. Cindy unfortunately told her mother the news and held her as she cried.
Military Base
The next day, the N-Men, Betty, Nick, Brittany, Megan and Jasmine were in a meeting with the council.
"Well Dr Neutron haven't you put us in quite the predicament." one of the General's commented.
"Yes. In the last twenty four hours we have arrested eight politicians, dozens of police officers, many military, navy and air force officers. It's a complete…"
"We get it, it's bad." Jimmy interrupted, "But as you know it's not my fault. So why did you drag us here?"
"We just wanted to tell you that you've been exonerated of all your crimes."
"Even the stuff that happened with Hulk?" Jimmy asked.
"Yes. Since you leaked the footage of General Vortex… I mean Savage shooting you and that having a direct link to your transformation yes."
"Don't worry only you guys saw that. So are we done here."
"Exonerating you wasn't the only reason we called you here. Your Nicholas Dean correct?" one of the Generals said to Nick.
"There is someone here who wants to meet you."
At that moment a tall bald African American man walked in. "Nick Dean I am commander Nigel Baker. I am the head of an organization called Big Top Secret Organization (BTSO) and I need your help."
"Their organization is called the Big Top Secret Organization. That's a little on the nose." Libby commented.
"Exactly." Commander Baker replied.
"What do you need from me?" Nick asked.
"You see you were led to believe that your father Nolan Dean died from the Neutron Chamber explosion. That is not true."
"What?" Nick said surprised.
"He's an agent that works for us. He goes by the name Jet Fusion."
"Jet Fusion! As in the legendary spy Jet Fusion! He's like my hero!" Jimmy said in excitement.
"My Dad's a spy." Nick said still unable to process the information he was told.
"I am so jealous." Jimmy commented.
"You see, he needed to go on a deep cover mission for months, possibly even years. We lost touch with him a few weeks ago."
"What was he doing?" Nick asked.
"I can't disclose that to you yet. But I have an offer: if you join my organization and help me find your father you will know everything."
"I don't know what to say." Nick said troubled by the news.
"Nick let's talk outside." Cindy suggested grabbing Nick's hand, dragging him out.
"Cindy I don't know what to do."
"Nick you have to go."
"Why should I. My father obviously thought his job was better than his family."
"You don't know that. And you'll never find out if you don't go. Take it from me. It's better to know than to live in ignorance. "
"What about us? I don't know how long I'll be gone and it's not fair for me to ask you to wait for me."
"Then we'll take a break. When your mission's done and if we're both single we'll pick up where we left off."
"But I can't just go when you're dealing with all this stuff."
"Nick, you'll never forgive yourself if you don't take this opportunity. I still have the others to be my support system and I will not be the reason you get your own emotional closure."
"What did I ever do to deserve you."
"You asked me out."
Cindy and Nick embraced each other in a passionate kiss before returning back to the room.
"Commander Baker. I'll do it." Nick agreed.
"Excellent. I was also wondering if miss Jones(Brittany) and Connors(Megan) would be interested as well. I could use agents with your abilities."
"Really! I'm in!" Brittany shouted in excitement.
"I don't know." Megan said looking at Libby.
"I'm not going to tell you what to do Meg. But if you want redemption, this might be the best place to start." Libby said.
"Then I'm in." Megan agreed.
"That's great. Get ready for the next phase of your life." Commander Baker smiled, "Dr Neutron I'll contact you later about these three."
"I'll send you all the data you need." Jimmy replied.
Brittany, Nick and Cindy hugged. "I feel kinda bad leaving you here." Brittany commented.
"Don't. Just make sure you kick butt." Cindy replied.
"Ahh… Cindy…" Nick tried to say.
"We already said what we needed to say. I hope you find what you're looking for." Cindy said.
"Good luck Meg." Libby said.
"To tell you the truth I'm actually quite scared."
"Don't be. You'll do fine."
Nick, Brittany and Megan left their friends and went to Baker, "Are you kids ready for the adventure of the lifetime."
Everyone nodded. Baker left with the group.
"So what now?" Carl asked.
"We focus on our mission." Cindy commented.
"We defeat Savage." Jimmy declared.
Unknown Location
Savage, Martha, Nate and Evil Special girl were near a shore. Savage was desperately digging the ground.
"Father… I mean Master. Are you sure you want to do this?" Martha asked very concerned about her Dad.
"I have nothing left. This is the only option." Savage replied, digging up an amulet.
"That isn't?" Martha asked.
"It is. The mystical artifact the sorcerer Vexus used."
"What are you going to do with that?" Nate asked.
Savage thought about the last time he touched the amulet.
Flashback
Vexus was sleeping Savage was in service for him for months. Savage quickly stole Vexus's amulet and tried to use it against him.
"Why is this not working?" Savage said in a dead language.
"So you finally decided to try and take it." Vexus commented telekinetically, pulling the amulet back to his hand. Vexus then began to telekinetically choke Savage, raising him into the air. "Let me educate you animal. Only one person at a time can use this amulet. And even if I wasn't around you couldn't use it anyway. You see when you activate this amulet you summon a chaos spirit named Astral. He will want payment for giving anyone such power."
"What kind of payment?" Savage gasped.
"Your most precious possession. It could be anything. A person, a thing as long as it is what you consider the most precious."
Vexus dropped Savage.
"Don't ever try that again."
A little down the road Savage fished the amulet out of the ocean but chose to bury it and return if he ever needed it.
Flashback ends
"It's finally my time." Savage said to himself. He activated the amulet. The sky turned red, a strong wind began to form and energy being revealed themselves to Savage.
"Why have you summoned me?" Astral asked.
"I wish to have the power of the chaos amulet." Savage replied.
"What do you have as payment?"
"I will sacrifice the thing I love most."
Martha began to shake thinking it was her.
"My immortality."
"The payment is acceptable." Astral replied. Astral stretched his arm and pierced Savage's heart and pulled out a blue energy source. "Your transformation will begin shortly." Astral smiled.
Astral then fired an energy beam at Savage. Which caused the villain to scream in pain.
"You will use the power of the amulet to cause untold mayhem." Astral shouted as Savage's skin became very.
"Yes." Savage answered.
"You will use the power of the amulet to find the reality stones and achieve godhood!" Astral shouted as the pupils of Savage's eyes became black and his iris became red.
"Yes." Savage shouted. "I won't rest until I have orchestrated the complete and utter destruction of JIMMY NEUTRON!" Savage shouted, revealing his new form to the others causing them all to back away in fear.
Unknown Location
A portal opened up in the sky. A boy flew out of it and landed on the ground. The boy stood up revealing himself to be a brown haired, blue eyed, buck toothed boy.
Well that's it. I hope you all enjoyed it. I was not expecting this chapter to be this long. I sent Nick, Brittany and Megan away because I'm planning a spin off fanfic for them. When and what that will be you'll just have to wait and find out.
I know it might seem like the Hugh, Judy thing came out of nowhere but they haven't been around since chapter 4 and I just needed something to bring them back into the loop.
Just if any of you were wondering Monica drains life energy resulting in the victim feeling drained and Monica gaining their powers, and skills. Eventually the energy will return to its origin. Savage's plan was to permanently take the powers and since their life energy couldn't return to them the heroes and villains would have eventually died a slow death.
I'm also starting a little competition. I'm growing tired of constantly calling the Special girl clone "Evil Special girl" so I'm going to ask one of you what you'd call her.
