Chapter Thirty - Bonus Content
Hi! This isn't an official chapter, but more of a compilation of easter eggs and details I didn't get to include in the story. If you are reading on Fanfiction (I crosspost) I recommend checking out the Archive of Our Own version, because I can add in my art over there.
Part One: MASH Nights
To my knowledge, there is only one other RotBTD Bot Fighting AU out there - Lord of the Bots by chocolatechiplague. In their story, Tadashi and Hiro are sent to the 'Dragon Den'. When I set out to write my own version, I didn't want to copy their idea exactly. So 'The Cove' was born, and MASH nights became a way for them to trial new fighters.
'The Cove' itself is a pub/restaurant. The building is an old warehouse on the road between San Fransokyo, Berk and a few other mountain towns, which means it becomes a stop for someone going into the big city. On most days, they're just a Bot Themed restaurant. On Fridays, the Cove Golems invite their friends over to fight for fun.
Once a month, they host a MASH Night. MASH Nights are pay to play, there's betting, and there are a lot more fighters than just the main characters' friends. To help sort this, I made a few different levels. (Note: Most of the last names are fanmade/created by me. I use them across all of my stories).

Part Two: Bots
(The art is on A03 or can be found on this site: view/wizardlymagic-fic-tures/home)
Some of the bots in the story. Top Left: Invisi, Stormfly, Toothless, Wisp. Bottom Left: MASHmallow, Pascal, Bunnymund, O.L.A.F.
The other dragon riders bots look like their dragons, just mechanical. The Humming-fairy looks a lot like decembercamiecherries version of a bot Elsa would use. The colors are just different and there are a few extra parts.
I'd describe all of the other bots but I don't want this bonus chapter to be super long. If anyone's interested, I could be coerced into making a secondary bonus chapter with just bot designs.
Question: Why didn't I give Merida a brawler bot?
Answer: Technically she used Dunbear (which is a bear designed brawler) when she was younger, but I feel that a more detail oriented robot would suit her better. Archery is about focus and control, and I designed the Wisp robot to be about control. The backstory about why she switched from Dunbear to Wisp is a little moment in the Early Cove days, where Elsa used a small acrobatic bot before switching to MASHmallow. During a fun fighting session, Jack got the two women to switch robots and both of their fighting improved DRASTICALLY. Merida would end up designing her own bot later that week.
Part Three: Character Descriptions
Rapunzel: Short, skinny, blonde hair in a braid, pink bow at the top. Shirt and vest combo, purple capris (paint stained)
Merida: ripped jeans, green button down (oversized), open over a black tee with her wisp logo, hair half up/half down, charm necklaces, wristlets
Hiccup: olive henley, brown vest, jeans (with pen doodles), chip on leather cord around neck
Jack: Blue painted hoodie, brown cargo pants, blue flannel around hips

"San Fransokyo's Little Sweetheart" is a reference to what Rapunzel calls Vex in the show, which is "Varadaros's Little Sweetheart"
Chapter Fourteen:
The Goob home is the orphanage Lewis is from in Meet the Robinsons. In this AU, the Robinson family bought the building and gave them funding, and it was renamed after his best friend.
