This is the story of how four extraordinary actresses got recognized while singing BLACKPINK and the three boys who were just people they used to know until they go on a game show.
One girl was squeaky clean and played the pretty girl, damsel in distress. She didn't have a wide vocal range, but her voice had a unique tone to it. She loved Weki Weki and BLACKPINK. She got a bit afraid to take risks, so she sang the basic melody most of the time.
One girl was often ignored so she chased attention. She played the supportive best friend and couldn't sing unless she was supposedly alone and singing along to BLACKPINK, TWICE, or Red Velvet. Mostly she just rapped, and she was good at it. She got lonely, so she sang along with the very basic strands of melody when not rapping a solo.
One girl always came off as sadistic but was really just vituperative. She played the protagonist or the murderer, yet never the villain. She rarely sung any covers unless she had to or it was a friends or TWICE, EVERGLOW, or BLACKPINK. She normally sang a strong harmony or complicated melody.
One girl was ever playing the first one to die, the female lead/romantic interest, or, surprisingly to all who had grown up with her, the villain. She wore an emotional mask because she had been hurt as a young child, but when she sang, all of her pain flowed through her syllables and tangled up in her hair. She loved BLACKPINK, EVERGLOW, and ITZY. She sang covers and originals and had a beautiful voice, but her specialty was runs and high notes. She could hold any note for an insane amount of time, shifting it the whole time. She sang mostly harmonies but got solos and all of the runs.
One boy was an aspiring actor. He did well with monologues and Shakespeare.
One boy was a songwriter and aspiring jazz/pop pianist.
One boy wanted to be a comedian. He used his ventriloquism skills to make people laugh but he could sing a bit too.

At the moment, all except two were seventeen years old. One girl was only sixteen, but she had skipped a grade. And one girl was one grade AKA one year older.
Nevertheless, all of their gigs were wrapping up. A live-action Sleeping Beauty, a prequel to the Scissoring, a cheerleading-based movie Watch And Cheer, and A Snow White Christmas. The boys were still in the talent school.
In an effort to see each other a little before the next gig, the girls took a karaoke night. When they walked out, they plopped down on a bench.
"Why aren't there any BLACKPINK songs in there?" The older one complained. "Why don't we just sing one here? Kill this love, English version?" They all nodded enthusiastically.

The four girls looked at each other and shrugged. Calling the number on the first card, the pretty girl called and set up a meeting the next day to talk about professional music careers. The younger girl set up a meeting with the agent half an hour from her house, where they all had clothing, in two hours.
They all got changed after riding to her house. Before they knew it, it was time for the meeting. They were ushered inside to sit down at a table, across from an obviously successful woman.
"I'm Cori James. My sources tell me that you four were causing quite a commotion outside of a karaoke joint earlier. You're all good singers, but who are you?"
"I'm Trina Vega. I just wrapped up the role of Stacey's best friend Lia on Watch and Cheer, the new movie. I'm the oldest of the group, a year older than most of them and two years older than one. I'm twenty years old."
"I'm Tori Vega, Trina's sister. I just wrapped up the role of the Blue Fairy on the new Sleeping Beauty. I'm nineteen years old."
"I'm Cat Valentine. I just wrapped up the role of Snow White in the new musical movie, A Snow White Christmas. I'm the youngest in the group, at eighteen."
"I'm Jade West. I just finished the role of Kiersten, the protagonist in the prequel to the scissoring. I'm nineteen."
