*Blossom*
The day has finally come; Operation Take-command, Blossom has been working hard in the last week working between Governor Brown and her crew leading a double life to the point she didn't know who she was anymore but she liked it. She thought of a plan that was so grim she gained questionable glances from her crew when she mentioned the idea, "Isn't that taking it a bit too far?" Malone asked hesitanting of being apart of the idea however, Doyle approved Blossom's unapproachable plan, "we need to charge at the bastards loud and hard."
Blossom looked over towards the steamers to see Murphy was minding her own business while steaming the linens and chatting to Aria Driscoll, Murphy's right hand woman. The pair were surrounded by three of her crew; Anna Richardson, Lucy Preston and Beth Moore. We can take them, she looked across the left wing of the laundry room to see Swifty and Reynolds were in position. Malone was towards the security camera mopping out of camera sight while King was folding the laundry and Doyle was leaning towards a washing machine as her tigerlike green eyes glued on Murphy. Blossom's eyes darted towards the broomstick where Malone left it beside the double-doors.
Blossom cracked her neck as she prepared herself, she strolled towards Ms. Hastings who was standing with her arms folded while supervising the women. "Hey, Ms. Hastings we ran out of washing powder."
Ms. Hastings took a double take at the pink eyed inmate, "Already? I'm certain I had Driscoll stock up before count last night..." now the guard has a questionable look on her face.
Blossom rolled her eyes, "Driscoll's been slacking a lot lately, if you lend me your key I can get more out the supply closet."
Ms. Hastings scoffed at Blossom's request, "Seriously Utonium? You honestly think I would give an inmate permission to waltz around the prison with a set of keys?" the guard smiled before turning round until she noticed Malone mopping and stopped, "What's Malone doing cleaning the laundry room, I thought she was on garden duties today?"
Blossom felt her heart sink, oh shit.
"And what is Doyle doing here? I thought she was on kitchen duties?" Ms. Hastings eyes travelled from Malone to Doyle and now landing on Blossom.
"Doyle just got moved to laundry today and Malone might've got her schedule mixed." Blossom said as she swallowed a dry lump, starting to feel the palm of her hands sweat.
"Why wasn't I informed of this?" Ms. Hastings looked baffled.
"I don't know, all I know is that we ran out of soap powder and I can't complete my work duties without it..." Blossom said as she nervously scratched the back of her head and her eyes travelled around her surroundings, avoiding the guard and her questions altogether.
Now Ms. Hastings was suspicious, "Utonium, do I really want to know what's going on here?..."
Blossom now chewed her lip as she made eye contact with the guard, "It's probably best if you find out for yourself."
Ms. Hastings eyes narrowed at the pink Puff before scanning the laundry room one last time, "is this involving Murphy?" she asked
"Like I said...you'll be finding out yourself. The less you know now, the better."
"Utonium, you're a smart girl, you know better than to do dealings with Murphy-"
"I'm actually doing the opposite." Blossom cut off the guard sharply mid-sentence. "This is an opportunity for true leadership for these women. Please, you have to trust me on this."
"Trust- I could lose my job over whatever it is you're plotting!" Ms. Hastings was flabbergasted by the inmates response.
"How could you? As far as you're aware; we ran out of soap powder..." Blossom boldly arched a brow and folded her arms.
Ms. Hastings sucked her lips to a thin line while scanning the room and placing her sight back on the pink Puff before opening her mouth again, "you've got five minutes."
Blossom was amazed of how effortless it was for her to convince an honest guard to turn the other way, even Ms. Hastings has it bad for Murphy... After the guard left Blossom picked up the broomstick that Malone left behind and jammed it between the door handles, preventing from anyone getting in. She nodded towards Malone who used her mop pole to swing the security camera away from the main floor. Reynolds, Swifty, Doyle and King flew for the women gathered round the steamer, using their fists as weapons. Swifty took on Richardson, Reynolds brutally fought Preston, King was punching the living day lights out of Moore, every time when Moore tried to hit back King would block or dodge it and throw another punch straight to the face. Doyle and Murphy were boxing with each other and Driscoll slyly crept away going unnoticed, or so she thought.
The remaining 30 other women in the laundry room watched, some cheered at the fight, some were frightened by it and a few others watched in awe. Driscoll tried to hide behind a massive tumble dryer but Malone blocked her way, "Where do you think you're going, bitch?" she asked as she swung the mop pole whacking Driscoll in the gut. Driscoll groaned in pain as she fell to the floor. Malone had to shake her head before scoffing, "fucking pathetic."
Malone opened her cleaning trolley and brought out a large 10 metre rope and threw it towards Blossom, Blossom caught it in seconds and within a pink flash she zigzaged from each opponent of her crew grabbing Richardson, Moore and Preston and circled around them. There was no need to pay any attention to Driscoll as Malone was taking care of her, Blossom tied a tight knot that held the three battered and bruised women back-to-back to each other.
All eyes were on Doyle and Murphy during their persevering battle, Murphy had Doyle against the wall but Doyle brought her knee up to her waist as she grabbed Murphy by the hair and dragged her down until her face smashed against Doyle's knees. By the time Murphy was down to her knees Doyle wasted no time to kick her further down to the ground and from there the women were cheering for her.
"Woo go, Doyle!"
"Kill the bitch!"
"Fuck her up, Doyle!"
The redhead stopped when she seen Murphy had enough. Doyle turned to the other prisoners with a black eye, cuts on her face and slight bruising on the cheeks, she faced the women who were cheering her until everyone grew silent, now she nodded towards the pink Puff to proceed with the plan.
Every body was curious of what was going to happen next - Blossom approached Murphy who was nearly passed out and grabbed her by the scruff of her white tank top holding her up. The Scottish redhead strolled in the middle of the circle, "Listen up. As most of you may know Murphy has been a terrible top dog to us," she got a few inmates agreeing as they nodded their heads, "but you don't actually know how terrible she's been..." everyone exchanged looks with each other, "your top dog, our so-called leader has been grassin' on us to the guards...Julie, she snitched on you about the nail polish and make-up contraband, Ellie, she snitched on you for the graffiti in the washroom. She even snitched on my lass Swifty!"
The prisoners were outraged as they swore and threw insults at their short haired top dog while she struggled to keep herself up in Blossom's grip. Doyle raised her hands signaling the inmates to stop and they did. Blossom raised a brow being impressed how her cellie stopped them on command, "we have three simple rules here - don't take shit without asking, don't press the panic button...and don't be a grass...she broke a rule" the women all nodded agreeing with the Scottish girl.
Doyle now walked towards the steamer, "Headwood's top dog position is undergoing new management." she placed her hand on the handle of the steamer. Blossom grabbed Murphys right hand and placed it under the steamer.
The women widen their eyes as they knew exactly what was going to happen next making Doyle smirk knowing this will be the only warning that will spread like wildfire and nobody will fuck with the new crew. Nobody. "By order of the Red Right Hand." she finished as she pressed the steamer down on Murphy's hand.
Murphy screamed in pain causing the screech unsettling to the human ear, most of the women looked shocked, some looked terrified and other looked glad that someone was taking real control. Blossom could smell the skin burning when Doyle opened the steamer back up showing Murphy's blistered and burned hand which was redder than Brick's eyes and trembling.
Blossom felt the adrenaline rushing through her veins and her stomach tying up in a knot but it wasn't in a bad way...it was exciting.
*Brick*
For the last two weeks he yarned for this moment, Blossom's finally granted visiting rights and Brick was the first to visit her. He asked Dean to get the same 24/7 access pass along with her family but was informed it's only eligible to imemediate family member. The red eyed Ruff dressed himself for the occasion in a pair of black jeans along with a pair of black DC sneakers in white bold writing, he wore a crimson button up shirt with his sleeves rolled up quater way and he went through the trouble of getting haircut, snipping his red locks to a short back and sides. Of course he had on his red hat Blossom got him, he cherished the hat with all his heart. Whenever he had trouble sleeping he would stare at it which laid on his bedside and think about her, it sometimes helped him sleep peacefully, it always helped when he was trapped with Berserk back in Mexico.
He sat in the visiting room with a bunch of other people at their own table waiting for their loved ones to come through. There was a harsh buzz that alerted the barred gates to open, Brick stood up from his seat, he saw a bunch of women coming through wearing different coloured takkies his eyes searched for her but he couldn't see her. Finally, she was the last to come through in dark green takkies and his heart skipped a beat. She ran to him and he opened his arms embracing her and latched on to her when they met with a deep passionate kiss. Brick wasn't sure how long they were kissing for but they were interrupted by a guard calling across the room, "Wrap it up, Utonium, we got kids here."
Blossom was the first to bashfully pull back, being a little embarrassed for being called out but Brick didn't care. They sat across from each other, each smile beamed to their ears. "I missed you." he said
"I missed you too, Brick." she smiled back, "you got a haircut."
"Yeah, what do you think?" He asked as he took off his hat while modelling for her in a jokily.
She giggled, "you look really good with short hair, it really acknowledges your handsome jawline...and the back of your neck..." she dazed into him
"I'll keep that noted." He smirked as he placed his cap back on.
"How are things with you?" She asked as she leaned closer to him.
"Busy with college and this...new job." he winked
Blossom smirked as she leaned her elbows on the table while rubbing her hands, "How are the numbers looking?"
"Has Brandon not told you?" Brick raised his brow in confusion
"Tell me what?"
"Bloss, we made over a million dollars in the last ten days selling drugs online."
Blossom eyes widen, "That little shit, he only told me it was going well he didn't say that well..." she stopped for a second in realisation, "greedy bastard manipulated the situation." she crossed her arms in annoyance.
Brick had to chuckle at her response, "You're wearing his colour, you think that was a coincidence?" he decided to mess with her
She rolled her eyes, "Wouldn't put it past him."
He laughed making her smile. "So, what else's been going on the outside world?"
"Prince bought a car wash, using it to launder our 'business'" he said raising his brows at the last word.
"I gathered that reading over my contract from Brandon. The nerve of him getting 5% off both of us."
"Yeah, I know but a lot of this wouldn't be possible without him, he played a massive role to pull this together." Brick stated as he leaned back on his seat
"Made us from solid to bulletproof." Blossom finished, quoting after Prince.
"More or less." Brick shrugged
Blossom nodded understanding, "How's things with Boomer?"
Brick opened his mouth hesitatly, "He wasn't too good the first week...but he's been spending more times with Bubbles in the last week which is helping him. Nevermind him, how are you?" he asked as he held her hands.
Blossom bit her bottom lip, "yeah, I'm good."
Brick cocked an eyebrow showing concern, "You're good? Bloss, you're in prison these last couple weeks must've been hell for you. Brandon told me he managed to sneak you a cell in but he's being a dick by not giving me the number!" he complained in a hush tone, "he says it'll cause 'too much distraction' for work."
"He's probably right, I only use the cell for emergencies - there's not been one yet, thank God but I get a weekly meeting with Jerry Brown, the governor." she whispered as she scanned her surroundings for eavesdroppers.
"A weekly meeting about what? Wouldn't that raise more suspicion?"
"Not if you're just prioritising a former super-hero," Blossom smirked as she leaned back, "and I finally got good news for the greedy pig, I got control of the prison."
"Already?" Brick tilted his head being surprised, no offence to Blossom but he assumed she would've struggled at this particular region, he often worried about her whenever he thought about it.
"Well...sort of, not particularly me per se but someone who I can trust but she doesn't know how the stuff will be sneaked in and out-"
"Bloss, this wasn't part of the plan-"
"She's my cell mate." Blossom cut Brick off in a low tone, "she knows the prison better than anyone, people respect her, she knows the inmates and she can take control...better than me."
He sighed as he folded his arms, "Are you sure you can trust this chick?"
Blossom shrugged helplessly, "She's all I got."
Brick was anxious for her, she's in an environment she doesn't know or understand. Blossom could tell by his body language that he was tense she reassured him with a warm smile before squeezing his hand, "Brick, I'm fine. Everythings going according to plan."
He eased his shoulders slightly, "You would tell me if something was up, wouldn't you?"
She nodded before opening her mouth again, "There's actually one thing I'm nervous about..." Brick leaned in showing his full support, "My sisters and the Professor are coming to visit tomorrow. I'm a little bit nervous about it, me and Buttercup talked briefly on the prison pay phone, she said she has big news but...I just don't know what to say to them."
"What do you mean?"
"I haven't spoke to my family face-to-fave since the Professor got arrested, what do I say to them? They're gonna want an explanation, like what possessed me to become one of the biggest drug distributor in the country." Blossom scraped her hair back feeling the stress and anxiety overtaking her.
Brick empathized her, "I know it's hard but you were bound to face the music at some point, weren't you? Sure, it's not ideal but people make mistakes nobody's perfect."
"I just don't want them to think-"
"They're not gonna think anything, they're your family. Like I said; the situations not ideal but they'll come round. And you've also got me." he smiled
She smiled back at him, "What did I do to deserve you?"
"I ask myself the same question." he joked making Blossom giggle.
*Ben*
Ben's been hiding out in Roseville within the past week, he had a few friends there that he crashed with to take his mind off things. His brothers have been constantly calling and texting but he ignored the calls but read the texts;
Bradley
-You haven't been back to the cabin and Bran said you haven't been home...are you all right?
-I already spoke to Bran about droppin' the bomb wasn't cool the way he did it.
-Look man, I just wanna know if you're still alive and I'll leave you alone.
-I know you're there, it says you've been reading my text.
- How long you gonna keep this up for?
Brandon
- Bro, you coming home tonight?
- Helloooo?
- I'm sorry how I dropped the news the way I did - it wasn't intentional but you know what I'm like, getting straight to the point.
- Come on, I'm actually getting worried now where are you we can talk about it?
- You know where I am if you need me...
Ben locked his phone and placed it back in his pocket before sipping water from a plastic bottle, he's wasted the last week getting high and drunk with his friends to block out the betrayal but the feelings were still waiting for him when he's sober but cut a whole lot deeper, like sharp glass slashing your gut. This isn't how I'm gonna solve my problems...
Ben wasn't even that into Brat but his brother having a baby with her just expressed a whole new feeling and he didn't know how to handle it. Bradley wasn't much of an emotional leader; if you have an issue then you deal with it in your own terms whether its through causing violence of a property or towards actual people. Brandon on the other hand objected Bradley's approach by asking 'who needs action when you've got words?' Bradley insisted that words contained nothing but empty threats.
Ben scoffed thinking the statement would be ironic considering Bradley is an empty threat. Bradley isn't stupid, he would never do anything to jeopardize his chances getting time in jail therefore he pays off other people to do his dirty work because apparently money talks and gets the job done. The red Rock manipulated people with words and played mind games with them just to teach them a lesson.
"What in the fresh fuck you doin' all the way out here?" he heard coming behind him on the park bench
Ben rolled his eyes, speak of the devil. "Needed time to think things over."
He didn't look at him but felt his redhead brother dump his body weight on the bench sitting next to him, "and what've you thought of so far?"
Ben closed his eyes sighing, already being fed up of his brothers presence, "I don't know man, I thought I was over the idea of you and Brat but clearly not."
Bradley was silent, "Well, I don't know much it'll help but I'm really sorry...I didn't mean to-"
"I know you didn't but it still happened..." Ben cut in, not being interested hearing another excuse.
There was another brief silence before Bradley opened his mouth again, "Girls, huh? Can't live with 'em."
"Can't live without 'em." Ben finished
Both boys heavily sighed before turning to face each other, "so you gonna get involved with the kid?" Ben asked
Bradley shrugged, "I don't think it's a good idea."
"How so?" Ben cocked an eyebrow showing curiosity.
"Look at me; one of the most biggest criminal drug dealer in the country, how could I raise a kid in all this? I can't take something so innocent and fuck it up like that."
"You did it with the kids in Boomer's youth centre, you did it to Pinky and plenty more, how would this be any different?" Ben stated almost in a sour tone before facing forwards.
Bradley's blood red eyes showed slight anger at his brothers response, "Those kids were exactly like us when we were younger - having parents that didn't give a shit about them, some of those kids weren't being fed. I gave them an opportunity to make money and buy their own food and clothes rather than being humiliated stealing their shit..."
Ben looked back at his brother getting shudders thinking back to his younger years
"I made every deal, took every job and built the biggest drug empire this country has ever seen so thank God I did everything the way I did in order for you, me and Brandon to be living comfortably. When was the last time we ever ran out of cash?"
Ben hadn't thought about it like that before he looked down almost ashamed of challenging his brother because he was right, if Bradley hadn't done half the unspeakable things he did then Ben wouldn't be living-up his Saturday nights in the casino, he'd have to go out and get a regular job like regular people for a shit wage considering he hasn't got his GED and he wouldn't be sleeping like a baby every night with his belly full and clothes on his back.
"...and Pinky on the other hand is a big girl - she knew exactly what she was getting involved in." Bradley finished his rant before folding his arms in a mood. There was another pregnant silence with an awkward tension in the air, "I'm not a complete monster, ye know?"
Ben delayed his reaction being surprised to hear slight emotion in his brothers voice, "I didn't know you felt like that."
"I don't any other time but when it comes to you and Brandon..." the words were trapped in this throat but Ben didn't say a word and wanted to hear what his brother had to say this time, "...you guys are my little brothers its my job to take care of you guys."
"We didn't ask to be looked after."
"Well, I didn't see anyone else fucking volunteering you were too busy getting high on anything you could get your hands on and ye know what Bran's like under pressure." Bradley shot back raising his voice slightly, "God, why the fuck are you so stubborn?"
"Dunno, ask her person who's been 'volunteering to raise me." Ben joked with a slight curve at the end of his lips.
Bradley showed an annoyed look that made his brother cackle as he scowled, "you motherfuckers drive me up the wall." he pinched the bridge of his nose.
Ben settled his laughter down before lightly sighing, "Just tell me one thing though." The redhead gave him his undivided attention, "would you want to get involved with the kid?"
"A part of me does but another part of me is saying to leave it alone. Of course I wouldn't get involved without your blessing, if anything it could've been your kid and I get that's a lot to accept." Bradley comprised with his brother despite the fact he could get involved without Ben's permission however, he felt appreciated that his feelings were put into consideration.
Ben nodded and looked forward, "Well I think you'd be an 'aight dad. Bran and me turned out okay-ish so you're doing something right."
The red Rock was relieved to hear his brother said that. There was another silence before he looked around, "This is a bit of a posh end, what the hell you doin' out in Rosewood?"
"I know a few rich college guys from here, they're usually into the heavy shit like smoking blues to chill and taking speed to study. I mean, most of their parents are doctors they could always prescribe themselves rather than getting dealers but whatever it's money in our pockets, college kids are stupid."
Bradley chucked at his brothers response, "Want to call Brandon and get something to eat?" he offered
"Sure, could do with a bite," the blonde boy dressed in black ripped skinny jeans and a electric blue hoodie swung forward from the bench.
As the pair strolled Ben turned to him once again, "Another thing that I've always wondered; you know when you came up with Blossom being our cook?"
Bradley hesitantly spoke, "yeah?..."
"What made you so sure she would've accepted our offer?"
"Cause every good girl pop at one point in their lives." he shrugged plainly, "I just thought of an idea and took a shot at it. Nothing more to it really," he awkwardly scratched the back of his head while adjusting his bandana.
"Why didn't she snitch on us? Because if she told the cops the whole story the way it was then DEA would've raided the cabin by now, right?"
"Hmph, I guess so...whatever Blossom said or did in that interrogation room will always be a mystery to me. I don't know what she's planning but I'll find out eventually. I got two years to wait until she gets out but when she does I'll be ready." he had a devious smirk on his face before he lightly bit his bottom lip which Ben caught a glimpse of.
Ben's eyes widen as he stopped dead on his tracks and dropped his jaws, "Oh my God, dude."
Bradley turned back being confused of the sudden reaction, "what?"
"You fell for her, didn't you?" Ben narrowed his eyes with a smirk on his face
"What? - no!" he scowled again as he blushed slightly
Ben crackled, "No fucking way dude, you totally did and it makes sense! You met your match - the greatest control freak; Bradley Momo unable to suss someone out!" he caught up and walked ahead of his red brother still laughing.
Bradley's face matched his bandana at this point blushing uncontrollably flabbergasted at his brothers response, "I-I-ahh..." he stammered, "I don't have feelings for her, okay?" he whined annoyingly, meeting the blondes pace.
