Chapter 1

It was supposed to be an easy mission. All I had to do was raid a warehouse, kill a few monsters, and steal their supplies. Simple? It should have been. Of course, I never expected a Titan to be overseeing the shipment of weapon crates.

It was a stormy day. I suppose Zeus was just trying to irritate me, as if having a prophecy that states I might destroy Olympus isn't irritating enough. I had been preparing for this mission all week. I had sent sea creatures to watch the warehouse and had the Hermes cabin go in for reconnaissance during supply raids. I was totally ready, which was why something had to go wrong.

I was stunned. Of all the things that could go wrong on the mission, I did not expect this. Annabeth, my partner on this mission (who would be sneaking in to gain information while I attacked the warehouse), was furiously typing on her computer pulling up various battle plans that we had drawn up.

"We have nothing. We prepared so much but we don't have a plan in place for a Titan!? How could I have been so stupid?" Annabeth said angrily with a frown.

"To be fair, I don't think any of us expected a Titan to show up," I muttered, trying to placate Annabeth. "I thought Chiron said that they would all be holed up building their forces or something."

"Well, obviously Chiron was wrong!" Annabeth snarled looking over at me.

"Hey, relax Wise Girl. We can think of something. We're good at that." I said in an attempt to calm her down.

She smirked a bit. "You mean I'm good at that, right Seaweed Brain?"

"Of course, you're the owl-head, not me," I replied with a smile.

I grabbed the binoculars that were hanging around my neck and looked at the warehouse.

I thought for a moment before saying, "There's a door around back. You can get in through there without being detected. I can head out to the water and come up from there. If I cause a big enough distraction, you can get in and out without being spotted."

"That's not a bad plan Percy," Annabeth starts to say.

"Thank you! I'm quite proud of it," I interjected with a grin.

"But you're forgetting about the Titan. Can you distract him along with all the monsters?" Annabeth said, basically shutting down my plan.

"Give me a few minutes to think of something okay? Can you go IM Chiron with an update?" Annabeth asked with a thoughtful frown on her face.

I nodded in acknowledgment and started walking down the hill. I had a call to make.

AN

This is my first attempt at fanfiction and I will be constantly checking back to previous chapters to make sure it all flows well and that there are no spelling or grammatical errors. If you notice anything please write a review so I can fix it.

I just want to say a big thank you to Blitz2134 for inspiring me and giving me a reason to write fanfiction. Please go check out his stories they are amazing!

This story is meant to take place during the summer before The Last Olympian. I'm trying to stick as close to canon as I can with personalities and abilities although Percy will be using his powers more and will be slightly different than canon. I admit I'm a sucker for powerful Percy so that's what I'm going to write (He won't be crazy OP but definitely more powerful than canon. Mainly in his demigod abilities).

If anyone has requests for future stories please let me know I'm open to ideas. These stories would take place during the year/summer before The Last Olympian as the campers are preparing for war.

If you enjoy the story feel free to review with any comments or advice you may have.

There will be at least one new chapter a week, but beyond that, there is no set schedule.
