Alright, here's the first chapter for Total Drama Reloaded! This chapter will focus mainly on introducing the characters - the first challenge will be in the next episode. I hope you enjoy and leave your thoughts in the comments or in PMs.

Edit: Did fix some small errors that KarsOnMars and FangDriver8 helped point out. Nothing too big that'll affect the story, so no worries.

Edit 2: Missed that Gigi's creator, Oreoboss0808, wanted her last name to be Lazo.

Edit 3: Deleting repeated description for Amelia. Man, I am burning through these edits!

Edit 4: Made some general edits across chapters before making a new chapter.

Final Edit: Gave it a good once over and cleaned it up a bit.

Hello there.

It's been a long time since we've met, hasn't it?

Why have you come back here, hmm?

Are you just curious of what could have been? Or are you just trying to pass the time?

At any rate, it doesn't matter anymore.

So, you remember the stakes, right?

Good.

Then let's get right to it.

The camera comes on to view the familiar shape of Pahkitew Island. The sloping hills of the mechanical monstrosity were silent as the sun rose, the sky a mix of pink and yellow hues.

Slowly, the camera moves in from its overhead shot. Zeroing in onto the dock, the viewers can see a middle aged man sporting a five o'clock shave and dark hair reeking of chemicals.

He is wearing a navy polo shirt with two front pockets, a long sleeved white undershirt, cargo pants, and black sneakers. It is a look reminiscent of an annoying uncle. Or, in this case, the undeniable image of Chris McClean. The corners of his face tighten as he puts on his widest, toothiest smile.

Chris breaks the silence "Yo! What's up party people? I'm here on Pahkitew Island, somewhere in Toronto, Canada, bringing YOU the latest season of Total Drama."

As Chris continues to speak, he begins to meander across the wooden dock. The seven year old floorboards creak in protest, but the host ignores it.

"Over the years, we have seen fifty-one contestants come and go. Of those fifty-one, only six have known the sweet, sweet taste of victory. Unfortunately, there have been some critics who have claimed the show is "life threatening" and that I'm "a complete monster" for doing these things.'

Chris raises his hands and makes air quotes to prove his point.

"And, thanks to a few wet blankets, the show was cancelled by our producers."

His smile briefly falters, turning into something maniacal, before he shakes it off. "But now, thanks to the help of our fantastic sponsor, Total Drama is back and ready to welcome twenty-two new contestants. And the stakes, oh boy, the stakes are the highest they ever been as the contestants fight for..."

The host creates an intentional pause, building up suspense.

"10...

Million...

Dollars!"

Chris throws his hands his hands into the air, ever the showman. The middle-aged man continues enthusiastically, clapping his hands together "So with that in mind, let me introduce you to the new cast!"

We now find ourselves on a cruise ship, making its way across whatever ocean Pahkitew Island is floating in.

As cruise ships go, this one is particularly small, with the under deck being just barely enough to fit about ten people at a time. What it loses in luxury, however, it makes up for in speed; indeed, we find the ship only half an hour or so away from shore.

By now, the contestants have settled in for the long haul. One passenger, however, stands out with his focused demeanor. He watches his competition like a hawk, occasionally jotting down something in his leather journal.

The young man has sharp hazel eyes and fair, unblemished skin. His thick, light-brown hair has been combed back into a pompadour, giving him an air of maturity. He has a tall and lean build, with his clothing only exaggerating his skinny figure. His outfit consists of skin-tight black corduroys, a purple grey peacoat that looks personally tailored, and black leather ankle boots.

Ronan Montague - The Junior Executive

Age: 17

Height: 6'3

Weight: 196 lbs

As viewers could see, Ronan was very perceptive of his surroundings; which is why Ronan could quickly tell when he was being approached. He snaps his head up, just in time to find another young, very attractive man sitting down next to him.

"Hello, there! I'm Silver Willow. I couldn't help but notice that you were all alone." Ronan was pleasantly surprised that this 'Silver Willow' was so quick and to the point.

Flipping his journal closed, Ronan gave Silver Willow a polished smile. "Ronan Montague, a pleasure." The young businessman held his hand out for Silver.

Silver Willow, though a bit confused, gladly accepted it.

Even sitting down, one can see Silver Willow has a slim, willowy form. His dark olive skin is bright and smooth, and his curious brown eyes full of warmth. Curly jet black hair, which would otherwise reach his shoulders, is pulled back into a mid pony.

His outfit perfectly displays his bubbly personality: a slim fit, blue shirt that has the sleeves rolled up to his shoulders; a black vest with a white floral rose design; yellow jean pants, and Douglas Boat brown shoes. Clearly someone with good tastes. This look is completed with a red bow tie and black framed, square glasses.

Silver Willow - The Hopeful Romantic

Age: 16

Height: 5'2

Weight: 152.6 lbs

"Wow, this boat huh? I can't believe I got in!" Silver exclaims. Ronan notices as the bubbly young man quickly taps his foot and gazes around the boat.

"Yes, indeed. I'm surprised myself I still got on." Ronan responds cordially, nodding in agreement. "How did you hear about this show?"

Silver smiles, eyes flickering with excitement. "Oh, I heard about it from my sisters, twins! They absolutely LOVE this show!"

"Oh really? How old are they?" "Six, turning seven in May." Ronan bites back a snarky comment about kids watching such a violent show, instead replying, "I also heard of the show from another party. My secretary, Nora sent an application to me, because she knows I like to challenge myself."

The bespectacled young man gives a small gasp, clasping Ronan's arm. "Oh my gosh, you have a secretary? That's crazy, tell me about it!"

While this conversation is going on, another young woman sits in the corner, back against the wall and knees up to her chest. Clear body language for 'leave me alone.' If you look closely, you can see she's wearing wireless earbuds, mumbling along to a wordless song.

Kris "Rae" Raven Yang - The Jack of All Trades

Age: 16

Height: 5'6

Weight: 122 lbs

She is on the more petite side, with wide hips and a slim upper body. Her skin has a light tan to it, and her eyes are a dark brown, almost reddish color. She has wavy, natural blonde hair cut to her shoulders that is held back by a black headband. She is wearing a plain red t-shirt, black knee-length shirt and black running shoes.

Anna-Jane "AJ" Rosenberg - The Socially-Awkward

Age: 17

Height: 5'0

Weight: 99 lbs

Sitting next to Kris is someone who must be the shortest contestants this season, if not ever.

AJ is deathly pale, with shy hazel eyes. Her hair, almost as pale as her skin, is neatly cut just above her shoulders. The petite girl's attire is very modest: a short sleeved, pastel pink shirt with a white kitten head on it; a light gray cardigan rolled up to her sleeves; and a pale lavender pencil skirt. The look is tied together by a brown belt, white knee-length socks, and brown combat boots, as well as white studded earrings and a silver choker necklace.

AJ is crouched down on herself, absolutely absorbed in her writing. She continues to scribble away, clutching her bright blue pen. She raises it up, gnawing on it when-

"AH! PLEW!" The petite young woman shouts out as the pen explodes, coating the mouth (and the page she was writing on) in the bitter liquid. However, she immediately quiets down when everyone snaps their head to her.

"O-oh, sorry..." AJ murmurs, looking down to her feet as she searches her skirt pockets for a handkerchief.

"Uh, need help?" Rae asks, pulling out an airpod.

AJ shakes her head; she would rather swallow the ink than draw attention to herself. "N-no, I'm fi-fine." Thankfully, she produces a crumbled tissue from her front pocket, mercifully allowing her to hack the contents of her mouth onto the white cotton.

"...Okay, then." Rae trails off, seeing the situation resolved itself.

"So you're a competitive eater?"

"I know, f**king awesome right?" The curvy girl gives a big, boastful smile.

Max Grayson - The Tomboy

Age: 18

Height: 5'6

Weight: 183 lbs

Max is quite the curvaceous character. She has thick thighs, a larger than average bust, and a VERY large, rotund belly. The curvy woman doesn't seem to mind it, though. In fact, her outfit seems to show off her belly. Her shirt, a light-blue, short sleeved collared shirt with the bottom tied off, exposes her belly. She is wearing this with cream colored capris, brown sandals, and two silver bangles on her arm.

Other than her belly, Max looks rather healthy. Her chopped copper red hair is shiny and well maintained, with fringe bangs that cover her forehead. Her pinkish skin is relatively unblemished, despite a few spots of acne, and her blue eyes sparkle with glee.

"Yeah, totally. It'll definitely give you an edge with Chef's cooking, amirit?" The other girl leans over and gives a playful wink. Max snorts, slapping the seat.

"Hell yeah! I'd love to see some of these skinny girls eat that s**t!"

The other female nods, an easy going smile on her face.

Jewel Piccolo Banner - The Parkour Knight

Age: 17

Height: 5'7

Weight: 154 lbs

Jewel is someone who looks ready to go urban exploring. She sports a plaid orange bandana around her neck, a white crop top, black high waist joggers, and red sneakers that look ready to fall apart.

The parkour artist has bronze skin and expressive, golden hazel eyes. Short, curly black hair has been dyed a loud platinum blonde and tied back in an orange scrunchie. One curl sticks out defiantly, hanging in her eyes and sometimes getting in her mouth. Due to her chosen hobby, Jewel has developed quite the muscular frame; however, her workout particularly shows in her arms.

"Yeah, skinny girls are okay, but I like curvy girls better. Much more of them to love." Jewel pats Max on the thigh, sultry grin on her face.

Max turns an even brighter pink. "Uh, thanks, but I'm into guys."

"Okay?" Jewel chuckles and pulls away, not fully realizing how flirty she is coming off.

A young lady flicks open her hand mirror. Watching her reflection, runs her hand through her mane, making sure it is perfectly in place. Deciding she needs a touch up, she pulls out a ruby red lipstick from a plain black makeup bag..

Amelia Meadows - The TV Actress

Age: 18

Height: 5'6

Weight: 130 lbs

Amelia is, in a word, drop-dead gorgeous. Her ivory colored skin is flawless; her pronounced cheek bones perfectly frame her doe-like, baby blue eyes; and her thick, jet black hair sitting just past her shoulder. She has full, pouty lips and a near hourglass figure. Honestly, it's no wonder Amelia went into acting.

Her outfit is relatively simple. Amelia with a blue, off the shoulder top, dark blue jeans, and black pumps.

Amelia's preening is interrupted by the person sitting next to her, who the actress had been struggling to ignore.

Her seatmate, who is a hulking seven feet tall and 250 pounds. 250 pounds, which seems to be all muscle.

Griselda von Girder - The Berserker

Age: 14

Height: 7'0

Weight: 250 lbs

Griselda has pale, hardened looking skin. Her grey eyes are dimunitive compared to the rest of her body. This 14 year old girl is built like a tank, muscles ripping through her arms and legs.

This, combined with her height, allows her to tower over everyone else. As if this sight wasn't bizarre enough, Griselda is decked in a frilly, light blue schoolgirl dress, white stockings, matching white gloves, and baby blue Mary Janes. Her face is caked in makeup, including bright pink lipstick and blush. The look is completed with straw blonde hair held in oversized, Shirley Temple ringlets; a frilly pink bow (which may or may not resemble bull's horns) perches atop the whole thing.

As Amelia had begun applying her lipstick, Griselda had decided she wanted a snack. So, coming prepared, she heaves her bubblegum pink purse onto her lap and pulls out a still bloody, unidentifiable piece of meat. She sniffs it and, satisfied it is still good, begins chewing on it. Loudly.

Amelia's face contorts in disgust, gripping her hand mirror tightly. Of course, the actress has the self preservation not to confront the beast of a girl.

So, smoothing out her face, Amelia puts on a polite smile as she turns to the seatmate to her left.

Tamera Jenipher Oshunrind - The Chill Beatmaker

Age: 18

Height: 5'5

Weight: 109 lbs

In contrast to Amelia and Tamera, Tamera is rather average, though a little on the thin side. Her eyes are a chartreuse green, and her skin has light tan to it. Her shoulder length, cherry black hair is tied in a low pony, though it looks like a quick, lazy pony.

She's wearing a blue tank top, dark-blue blue jean shorts, and red high-top sneakers. Finally, she has on a pair of cherry red ear phones, which she currently has on.

"Excuse me." Amelia taps on the musician's shoulder and, once she has Tamera's attention, motions at her ears.

Shaken out of her trance, the beatmaker lifts up an ear. "Yeah, what's up?"

"Do you think we could switch seats?"

Tamera pauses, giving a sideways glance to Griselda. After a few moments, she shrugs and nods. "Eh, sure, why not."

"Oh, thank you." Amelia says with a slightly higher pitch as the two girls switch places. Tamera quickly goes back to her music nirvana, while Amelia lets out a quiet sigh of relief.

"Hey there! You seem a bit down! Wanna hear a joke?" Unfortunately for her, Amelia's new seatmate is just as wacky.

Jimmy "J-Jo" Sebastian Cooper - The Street Clown

Age: 17

Height: 6'0

Weight: 161 lbs

At first glance, J-Jo seems like a regular Duncan expy. He has a tall, lanky figure, with wide shoulders and upper arms. J-Jo's eyes, deep set in his face, are emerald green. His skin is vaguely pale, in a way that it could be body paint, but could also be natural skin.

His long, shoulder-length hair is in dreads; dyed purple at the scalp, it slowly lightens down the root until becoming electric blue at the tips. The dreadlocks are separated enough so that his ear piercings, including black gauges, and a single silver bar in his upper ear, is exposed.

Looking closer, however, one can see J-Jo is not just your average punk. He wears an orange and white striped shirt that hangs so loosely, J-Jo has tied a knot in the back. A pair of faded red overalls and a black leather vest jacket also hang loosely over him. His exposed arms are decorated in bright red and blue stripes and triangles, and an orange camo bandana is tied around the left elbow.

J-Jo's face is caked white, with red lipstick forming an oversized smile and two blue circles imitating 'rosy' cheeks. A yellow star covers his nose, as well as some of his eyes.

This look, bizarre as it is, could pass as normal. If not for a) the pearly white gloves on his hands, and b) His oversized, red clown boots.

Amelia sits frozen as she takes in J-Jo's appearance. After a few seconds, Amelia takes a deep breath, and puts on a strained smile.

"Excuse me. I need to get some fresh air." The actress quickly walks towards the deck, taking her makeup bag with her.

The deck of the cruise ship has a mild breeze, but is an otherwise idyllic spot for the remaining eleven contestants.

One contestant is taking advantage of this good weather, and has been taking pictures of the ocean, the birds, and even other contestants for the past hour.

Gigi Lazo - The Photographer

Age: 18

Height: 5'11

Weight: 116 lbs

The young Hispanic woman has dark bronze skin, light brown eyes, and warm black hair that reaches just past her buttocks. Her hair curls naturally towards the bottom, being held in place by a tight braid.

Gigi's outfit consists of a white and blue checkered crop top, sky blue, hip-hugging, sky-blue blue jean shorts, and knee-high black boots.

"Oh! Are you taking photos?" Gigi's camera view is blocked by a blond man, whose face is way too close.

Adrian Contiello - The Thespian

Age: 17

Height: 5'10

Weight: 135 lbs

Adrian is picture-perfect, with his tanned skin and baby blue eyes. His blonde hair is held back in a red scrunchie, resting on his shoulder. He is dressed out for an evening out, wearing black slacks, black dress shoes, and a red button-up, showing off his slender, athletic form. It all feels...just a little too artificial. Adding to the feeling of artificiality is the light layer of makeup covering up his blemishes.

"Uh, yeah." Gigi comments, lowering the camera to speak. Being the good-natured soul she is, Gigi asks Want me to take some photos?"

The actor just chuckles. "Darling, do you even need to ask? If you need a muse, look no further!"

With that, Adrian strikes a pose, leaning against the railing very dramatic fashion as Gigi begins to flash away.

In a quieter part of the deck, two male contestants are talking casually as they watch the waves.

The pair are unusually average for Total Drama, and if not for these summaries would not stand out otherwise.

Neville Nipman - The True Neutral

Age: 16

Height: 5'9

Weight: 100 lbs

Neville has a lightly tanned skin tone, nose dotted with light freckles. His body is scrawnily built, his body somewhere between a Cody and a Noah.

Neville's dull blonde hair is cut in a standard side part haircut, dark blue eyes looking around blankly. And his outfit, oh, his outfit. Nothing but grey - grey long sleeve, grey joggers, grey shoes. Not a splash of color anywhere.

Valentine Valentine "Vivi" Valentine - The Straight Man

Age: 16

Height: 5'8

Weight: 158 lbs

Vivi is slightly tan and has dark blue eyes as well, though he is somewhat shorter than Neville. His black hair is gelled back into a mullet-pompadour combination. Thankfully, Vivi is wearing a more colorful, if plain, outfit; white t-shirt, blue jeans, black sneakers, and a golden, heart shaped locket over his neck.

"So, what's your opinion on Total Drama?" Vivi asks Neville. Neville just shrugs, voice monotone.

"Eh, it's okay. What's your opinion?"

"It's okay." Vivi parrots, shrugging as well. There is an awkward silence between the two.

"This is nice." Neville says, finally finding someone who has as neutral a viewpoint as him.

Another female contestant can be seen leaning as far over the railing as possible, trying to catch a glimpse of some fish in the water. She's on her tippy toes, her muscular arms gripping the sides of the railings.

With a single movement, she pushes herself up and over the railing. Legs dangling over the ledge, she sits herself on the inch-thick railing, hands free on her side.

Taylor Kovalevsky - The Adrenaline Junkie

Age: 18

Height: 5'10

Weight: 165 lbs

Taylor is well-built, with wide shoulders and long legs. She has rosy skin, and deep blue eyes. Her dark red hair is in a messy pixie cut, long enough that it is blowing about in the wind.

The risk-taking girl wears a tiger orange crop top, form fitting pair of black work jeans, and brown boots meant for hiking. A brown bomber jacket pulls the look together, staying unzipped to leave her top (and her belly) exposed.

A flat, somewhat nasally voice calls out to Taylor "You know you're gonna fall over the side and drown if you do that."

Taylor turns her head ever so slightly. She spots someone who is definitely younger than most of the people there. The younger man has fair, olive skin, and russet brown eyes. His auburn brown hair has been shaved on the sides, with the rest left with a slept in look.

He's wearing a white undershirt and a blue, short-sleeved shirt left unbuttoned. He also has on a pair of blue khakis, blue socks, and blue-and-white sneakers. Just a lot of blue and white basically.

Dustin Midwinter - The Antisocial Pessimist

Age: 15

Height: 5'7

Weight: 130 lbs

"I might, but that just makes it more fun!" Taylor responds with a smile. "Besides, what's life without a little danger?"

"Long, safe, happy." Dustin bites, trying to get a rise out of Taylor. Instead, the redhead throws her head back and guffaws.

"Heh, good one!" Taylor giggles, swaying from her spot on the railing.

Dustin takes an unconscious step back, his eyes widening in surprise. Once he recovers from the surprise, however, he quickly composes himself.

Ryuji Karasuma - The Perverted Swimmer

Age: 14

Height: 5'7

Weight: 165 lbs

Ryuji is of Japanese-American descent, his skin holding a golden, fair tone and eyes a dark brown. The swimmer's brown hair has been arranged into messy spikes, reaching an inch into the air.

He is wearing a white tank-top with an animated blue dolphin depicted on it - definitely a team shirt. With the tank top, Ryuji has on a pair of gray-green athletic shorts and brown sandals, showing off his swimmer's bod.

At the moment, he is engaged in an animated conversation with a rather chill looking dude.

Adriane "Beau" Beauchamp - The Beach Bum

Age: 17

Height: 6'0

Weight: 130 lbs

Beau is of French-Polynesian descent, with golden brown skin and soulful, emerald green eyes. long black hair has a tousled look, and is inexplicably dripping with salt water.

The surfer dude wears a pair of brown, tattered, and sun-bleached cutoffs that reach above his knees. He's wearing no shirt, which exposes his impressively-muscled (and underweight) torso. Around his neck, however, he hangs a multitude of shells and shark teeth-based jewelry.

Ryuji, unconsciously jumping up and down, continues "Man, I just can't wait to see what Pahkitew Island is like! Being way out here, with no tourists to kick up sand, the water will be just perfect to swim it!"

Beau nods in agreement, "Totally, dude. No tourists means no trash clogging up the water. I can't wait to dip my toes in the sand and chill in the sun."

"I'm just glad to find someone who likes water as much as me." Ryuji says, clapping Beau on the back. Beau does the same.

"Same here. When I win, I'm gonna spend my money on charities to save the coasts." The shirtless man explains, eyes sparkling with excitement as he speaks.

With a smirk, Ryuji elbows the beach bum, "You mean, if you win! Still have to contend with me, pal!" Ryuji winks, then lets out a lighthearted chuckle. He doesn't even notice the cold glare Beau gives him.

Having found one of the few benches on the deck, a well-dressed girl lounges in the shade. Her manicured fingers clink impatiently clinking against the wood. She sighs, flipping through the magazine in her lap.

Brittany Drake - The Mob Boss

Age: 18

Height: 5'8

Weight: 98 lbs

Brittany has a dancer's body, with long, elegant limbs and a slender frame. She has soft, peach skin and round set, teal eyes.

Her hair, a dark cherry black, is tied in a fishtail braid and lays against her back.

She is dressed like she is going to a funeral, but a very classy funeral. Black blouse, a black shirt, fishnet leggings, and black high-heeled boots. The only piece of not black clothing is a silver, heart-shaped necklace, which hangs just above her chest bone.

"Excuse me Miss Brittany Drake, you are sitting in my seat!"

Brittany glances up. She lets out a disgusted scoff as she realizes who it is.

"Oh, it's you again."

Dominic Kastle (yes, it is spelled that way) - The Speedster

Age: 19

Height: 5'9

Weight: 150 lbs

Dominic Kastle is the the oldest contestant of the season, with light stubble covering his lower face.

His skin is a dark brown, his larger than average eyes being nearly black eyes. His dark hair has been designed into a spiked afro, going in all directions.

Dominic wears a grey varsity jacket with golden pockets and sleeves; underneath it, a black undershirt. With this, he has a pair of a black jean pants with a white belt and matching white sneakers.

"Yes, it's I again, humbly requesting you get out of the seat I was in before going to powder my nose." Dominic explains, waving his hands as he does so.

Brittany rolls her eyes. "Look, it's a free country. If you leave your seat empty while you take a sh*t, it's your fault that someone else takes it. But, if you really want to sit somewhere, there's a bench near the bathroom." Once Brittany is finished with her retort, she turns her attention back to her to magazine.

Dominic crosses his arm, clearly peeved off. "Okay then, I understand. Clearly a woman as a delicate as you needs to stay out of the sun. See you later then, Miss Drake."

With that, Dominic stomps away. Brittany steals a quick glare up at the racer before anyone notices. Both parties are already plotting a way to get back at the other.

The second to last contestant is in the northern part of the boat, which is relatively isolated. This gives him plenty of room to stretch his muscles in anticipation of the coming challenge.

Johnny Kujo - The Martial Artist

Age: 17

Height: 5'11

Weight: 178 lbs

The Japanese-American comes off as someone who is rough around the edges. He is lean, his hands callused, and his grey eyes look at everyone warily. His black is short, looking like he just rolled out of bed and ran a hand through it.

His outfit is rather simple, consisting of a white workout vest, black jeans, black converse sneakers, and black bands around his wrists.

Johnny stretches his hand against his back, leaning back ever so slightly.

"Hey there, what are those bands around your arms?"

The martial artist pauses mid-stretch, turning his head to face the person before answering, "Uh, weighted bands." Then, he continued on, stretching his other arm the same way.

The person whistles "Coool! What that?"

"It's basically...weighted arm bands." "Nice, nice. You know, I could get you a great deal on weighted bands!"

Chloe Geeson - The Con Artist

Age: 16

Height: 5'4

Weight: 110 lbs

Chloe is a girl with not many curves. Her skin is a pale brown, her eyes a green-grey, and her brown hair in a high ponytail. Her outfit is all about comfort with a blue hoodie, grey pants, and yellow sneakers with grey socks.

So, Chloe is an average girl. What makes her stand out is her devious smile, only hampered by the jawbreaker sitting in her left cheek.

"No thanks, I'm good with the ones I have right now." Johnny responds curtly. He begins to stretch his arm across his chest, but Chloe continues on.

Stuffing her hands into her pockets, Chloe loops around to face Johnny. "Are you sure? I got this awesome guy who can get some bands that are cheaper and are even heavier so they stretch your arms."

Beat. "That's what you athletes are looking for, right?"

Johnny answers, more firmly this time, "Knock it off, whatever you're selling, I'm not buying."

Giving off a glare, Chloe takes the hint and backs up.

"Okay, okay. Just keep it in mind, dude!" Chloe puts her hands up and begins to back away to the stern of the ship. She gets only two feet before the speakers crackle to life.

In an instant, everyone falls silent at the sound of the speakers .

"Hello, new vict- I mean, contestants! And welcome to season 7 of my show, Total! Drama! Reloaded!" Chris McClean's voice floods the boat, his self-conceit leaking out along with it. "I'm sure all of you are excited to get started with the amazing challenges, so I'll keep it short. At this moment, there is an active bomb in the ship's engine room."

Numerous gasps erupt from the crowd of contestants. "A bomb? "Did he-" "He doesn't really mean it, right?" "Didn't you do that season 4? Not very original?"

"Now now, I'm sure you have many questions. I won't be answering those questions. Life jackets and other amenities to help you ashore are first come, first serve. Sooooo I'd get moving. The bomb should go off right about..."

A rumble shakes the deck before the ship violently lulls forward. People below deck fall out of their seat, while people above deck nearly fall over the side.

Taylor falls back right onto Dustin, who lets out an surprised shout.

"...Now. Have fun~"

Chris chuckles maniacally, and the speaker goes dead.

A few seconds of calm silence. Then, chaos.

The nine contestants below deck stand up, the center of balance already throwing them off.

Then, water starts flooding in.

"Sh*te, sh*te, sh*te! This thing's going down!" Max curses, the water already soaking her socks. Instinctively, many of the contestants sprint for the door.

"Wait! Let's take a moment and take inventory." Ronan calls out, already formulating a plan of action.

"Don't mean to seem rude dude - hey, that rhymes! - but we really shouldn't be dilly-dallying!" Jewel calls out.

Ronan ignores her. He pulls open the overhead compartment - nothing. Underneath the seat - nothing. Then, on a whim, he lifts up the cover of his seat. A wave of relief rolls through the junior executive as he clutches orange fabric.

Ronan lifts the life jacket over his head. "Found a life vest! Everyone, look under your seat!" Silver quickly follows Ronan's lead, and, like Ronan, finds a life jacket.

"Found one!" "Me too!" "I ha-ha-got one!"

Johnny and Chloe, still at the bow of the ship, watch Chef sprinting out of the bridge, a pack of something orange in hand.

"Damn it, Chris, why do you love blowing things up?" The older man grumbles to himself, pulling a string on the pack. Within a few seconds, it inflates into a recognizable lifeboat.

Johnny rushes to stop Chef, grabbing tightly onto lifeboat. "Oh, no way you're leaving us all on here!"

"Yeah, take me with you!" Chloe jumps in, clutching onto the side of the boat. Her male compatriate gives her a dirty look.

Without warning, Chef violently pulls the lifeboat out of their grasp.

"HEY-" Shouts Johnny, but Chef has already jumped overboard.

"Well, so much for going down with the ship." Chloe remarks with mild amusement, still sucking on her jawbreaker.

The martial artist shakes his head in dissapointment. "Come on, there has to be more lifeboats in the bridge!"

"Ooo, and maybe some collectibles!" Chloe remarks, following Johnny up the stairs racing up the bridge.

Taylor and Ryuji watch in fascination as the water rises up the side of the ship.

The adrenaline junkie turns to the swimmer. "Escaping a sinking ship. Not on my bucket list, but not gonna look a gift horse in the mouth." With that, Taylor plugs her nose, takes a deep breath, and jumps.

Ryuji jumps back, face morphing into one of mild shock.

"Oh!" Gigi raises her camera, snapping a quick picture of Taylor swimming away.

CRACK! The door to the lower deck slams open, and out comes Griseld, having taken two life jackets and turned them into floaties.

The berserker is followed by Ronan, Silver Willow, Rae, AJ, Max, Jewel, Tamera, and J-Jo. Only Ronan, J-Jo, and Rae have managed to clip on their life jackets. Silver Willow and Tamera are busy comforting a shaking AJ; Max's protruding belly prevents her from clipping the life vest on; and Jewel turns her attention to climbing up to the top of the boat.

Jewel clasps her hands around her mouth "I can see Pahkitew Island, but it's still pretty far! We're gonna have to swim to shore!"

"Ugh, I am going to murder McClean once I get on the island!" Brittany shrieks, snatching up a life jacket from Tamera.

Adrian screams, clutching the side of the railing. "OH MY GOD, I'M TOO PRETTY TO DIE!"

And in all this chaos, Beau is resting on the edge of the deck, basking in the ocean calm as can be.

"We got life boats, but there's only two!" Johnny exclaims, holding up the two the two prepacked, inflatable life boats.

At this moment, Dominic displays some surprising clarity. "We need to grab anything that'll float! Suitcases, drift wood, just grab the sides of the lifeboats!"

Grabbing a random suitcase, Dominic rips the zipper open, dumping the contents on the ground.

"No! My clothes!" Adrian cries out, falling to his knees and covering his eyes.

Ryuji takes off his shirt, approaching the edge of the ship. He can already see water rushing into the compartments, creating a vortex of sorts. "That varsity jacket dude is right. We need to jump NOW, or the water vacuum's going to swallow us up!"

"ABANDON SHIP Y'ALL!" Max screams, jumping into the water with a yell. Ryuji follows, diving with a much better form than her.

One by one, the rest of the twenty-two contestants follow. Some manage to get on a lifeboat, others wearing life vests, still others are clutching anything that will float.

Within minutes, the ship completely disappears into the murky deep, as if it was never there.
