Teddy Pov.

The door opened and Emma stepped in. She sat by the only empty seat which was next to Teddy.

"You can't sit there." Henrik said with a big devilish grin towards his sister. Teddy could not understand why he seemed so happy about it. Did de really hate his sister that much?

"Why? No one is sitting here. Besides the girls and I have a compartment to ourselves." Emma said as she flipped her long, brown hair to one side.

"Teddy's cousin is sitting there." Colin replied and pointed towards a trunk over Emma's head that had the name Victoire Weasley written on it.

"Why is she not here then?" Emma said annoyingly and leaned back, crossing her arms. Her behaviour seemed unusual. Teddy could not understand why she seemed angry. Did she and Henrik have a fight earlier that he did not know about?

"She just wanted to be alone for a moment with her siblings and parents, so I took her case with me and saved us a spot." Teddy smiled and handed Emma a chocolate frog. Her green eyes met his and he could see her cheeks turning a bit pink.

The door opened again. Victoire smiled and waved her hand at the guys, who's eyes got bigger. She had some quarter veela in her so it didn't surprise Teddy that his friends would think she was way too beautiful for an eleven-year-old. It did however anger him a bit, in more like a brotherly way, and he kicked Henrik's foot hard. He cursed a bit and the elbowed the other guys.

Emma was the first to speak, although her face showed a bit of a frown.

"You must be Teddy's cousin, I am Emma. And this is my idiot brother Henrik. Were friends of Teddy." Teddy raised one eyebrow. He had never really thought about Emma as his friend, but they were classmates in herbology with professor Longbottom, so he'd let it slide.

Victoire smiled as she also said hello to Greg, Colin and Tom. The train slowly began to move.

"Emma, you have to leave now so that his cousin can sit." Henrik said with the same grin he had on earlier. Emma did not look happy about it, but said goodbye to the others and left to go and join her friends from Gryffindor.

The boys all asked Victoire questions. About the famous Weasley family, Harry Potter and what Teddy was like before coming to Hogwarts. They all burst into laughter when she told they used to have tea parties as kids and she would dress him up in pink tutus and a tiara. Teddy felt back into his seat full of embarrassment.

When they arrived, Teddy showed Victorie where Hagrid would be. And just a few moments later they heard.

"First graders, all first graders over here." Victorie smiled and waved to the guys as she ran to hug Hagrid. They had all known him for a while since all their uncles and aunts had known him in their school year. The same with professor Longbottom, who had been Harry, Ron and Hermione's friend since their first year.

The great hall was filled with beautiful decorations as usual. Teddy and his mates took a seat by the Hufflepuff table and awaited the arrival of the first years.

"Wich house do you think your cousin gets sorted into?" Colin asked as he sat across from Teddy.

"She must be a Gryffindor." Tom said.

"All of the other Weasleys got sorted into it so why not this generation." Greg added.

"Her mother is French, Henrik signed, we don't know where she will end up." Teddy agreed and watched closely as the doors opened and the first years entred.

Victoire was walking alongside a girl with black hair and Teddy was pleased to see that she made friends already.

They lined up and one by one was called up. She would be one of the last ones because of the surname Weasley.

The girl with the black hair was called Christine Chang. Teddy felt like he had heard that name before, and it struck him when she was sorted into Ravenclaw. Her mother was Cho Chang, Harry's first crush. He had told Teddy this last year, just to start the conversation about girls.

Suddenly it was Victoire's turn. He tried to look over the older student's head. But the sorting hat did not take long.

"RAVENCLAW!"

Teddy smiled and looked at his mates.

"I guess the family tradition is broken. I wonder if Uncle Bill will be happy about this."

Victoire's pov.

She didn't know how to feel at this moment. She was happy that she made friends, and sad she wasn't in the same house as Teddy, confused about why she was placed in Ravenclaw, and worried that her dad was going to be unhappy with the sorting hat's decision.

Christine had quickly become Victoire's friend, and three other girls Raylee, Ivonne and Sandra. The Weasleys had a famous reputation so when she didn't get sorted into Gryffindor, the people started to talk. The girls also wanted to hear all the stories from the Weasley/ Potter family. And if she was in fact related to Teddy.

"Well, there is talk that our family is connected way, way back, but I think that is the case of many wizarding families. At least according to my grandfather." Victorie said as she stuffed a piece of toast in her mouth. She soon stopped as some boys longer down her table started laughing.

"Oh, don't care about those idiots. Boys are stupid anyway." Christine said as she handed her friend a glass of milk.

Suddenly the boys had a frighten look on their faces and looked away.

"Did those guys bother you?" She looked up. Teddy and his friend Henrik had arrived at their table and now looked towards the first year Ravenclaw boys.

"No, it's fine" Victorie mumbled as she drank a bit of milk before continuing. Her friends looked shocked and amused at the third year Hufflepuff boys.

Teddy handed her a letter and she accepted it.

"Aries brought it from your dad. He was with grandpa Arthur. I wanted to ask him something. So, uncle Bill just figured he'd send his letter together with mine.

"Thank you, Victorie said smiling, do you have time later? Maybe we could chat for a bit."

"Sorry I have Quidditch practice soon, it's going to take all day. Another day perhaps." She signed and nodded. The girls waved as the boys went on with their day. She feared that they would not see each other for a while.
