There was a ring going off in a small dingy apartment letting its occupant and their neighbors know what time it was. Despite the relative small size there was a small desk and computer that seemed out of place due to the natural condition of the room. The walls was covered in something akin to paint, the floor seemed to be obviously the cheapest way to be covered when considering the material. Despite all of this it was Minato's home. A home that he was slightly able to afford in no small thanks to his mother. What little he did earn was used for day to day needs. However today would either be for some extra classes or a small personal celebration. He wasn't a very active person socially so there'd only be him celebrating if he did get in.
He made quick work of getting ready for his day and had a breakfast that resembled him, looks flaky but some how it works. As he exited his small humble dwelling there was a small uneasy breeze. The last time he felt the wind chill him in such a way was when Yukari started to become assertive (basically abusive). Just thinking about it gave him the chills all over again. Though that was just it. It wasn't the same. Maybe it was just the cool air paired with the anxiety of seeing his results. There was just this burning coldness that had set in. He just couldn't quite explain what he was feeling, especially because he wasn't really cold.
As he made his way down the busy streets on his way to see if he had made his way to TU one of the most prominent things caught his attention was the constant mentioning of the vanishing meteor. A massive meteor, or UFO if you believed the conspiracies, had somehow eluded detection until it entered the atmosphere over Tokyo before ultimately crashing and then vanishing. This was the focal point for many to make a fortune. There had been a wide variety of things to have come from it, entertainment to food and games. Anything you can think of it was probably done. Even now, it was everywhere. It appeared on clothing and phones, people had themed snacks inspired by the incident.
Now that he was thinking about it his mother never really liked hearing, seeing, or even being around anything related to it. Her distaste was evident across her face when taking in anything to do with it. She had only shown such a face when he asked about his father once. after seeing her make an expression like that he thought it best not ask about him anymore. Now his mind was occupied by the absent figure in his life. Not that he was worse off because of him. it was just what had he done to leave such a bad mark on his mothers heart. The woman had not struck him as the type to be hurt over someone leaving her when she was with child. If he had cheated on her he was sure she'd just write him off. To leave her holding you in such contempt would mean that you had done something really messed up.
As Minato made his way to the University community board he didn't understand what had just happened to him. It was like he was in one of those mysterious action movies. Something made him look back, he didn't know why he did but he found himself looking that way. When he saw the most beautiful platinum blonde he ever laid his eyes on. Despite the exhausted look in her eyes and the wry smile. Almost as if she knew something he didn't. As if on queue he lost sight of her in the sea of people coming and going from TU, and like magic when he caught sight of where'd she'd been standing there was no sign of her.
He was so caught up in the moment he had forgotten where he was. That is until someone decided to remind him by practically shoving him aside and muttering incoherent curses. He was sure that in the few seconds this had happened he was called every name under the sun. Something that didn't quite sit well with him. Despite all that he knew he was still partially to blame. He was standing in a busy place staring at a woman who was most certainly was out of his league and not staring back at him with what was most certainly, in his mind, a seductive smirk.
Minato had to give himself a reality check. He was here to check on how he'd done, not daydream about about a blonde he had a thing for. After waiting for some to clear out and squeezing his way to the board je managed to began searching for his name. It was only a few minutes until his eyes rested upon what he had worked so hard for. So mich pride and happiness swirled inside him. He simply couldn't speak. He made it! However, as tactful as he was he dared not celebrate. Until he was alone that is. His first stop was somewhere that made quality food for a man of his wealth. He may be alone but he was gonna celebrate his achievement.
Now he wished he wasn't alone. His celebration ended up with him now cold alone and in the rain as he made his way back home. There was two things that evened out such a sour night. One being that he's finally made it into Tokyo University, the other was being the 100th customer so all his food amd drinks was free. Three if you was counting the lady with the blonde hair.
Honestly he could've sworn that the closer he got to his apartment the harder it rained. The chill was suddenly sinking through to his bones. Along with that pelting rain and icy winds, came a force great enough to make him stop in his tracks. His hand still on the rail and foot on the first step.
This feeling, this heavy force bordering divine intervention had stopped him instantly. As he stood there that striking instinct to look around came. He wished he could say that he heard her, or even that he just sensed her approaching. Though he could make no such clame. He hadn't caught any sound of her walking towards him. The rain hadn't fell any differently. There was even no sixth sense that had alerted her per say. What had made him turn around was a mixture of fear, admiration, and lust.
His heart rate had risen so high he'd thought he was dying. The only time he felt like this before was the one time his primary school held a track race. When he finally laid eyes on the woman who stood behind him it was little to no surprise to see the blonde hair that was nearly white. The eyes that had hinted at some level of exhaustion.
For the longest he hadn't moved. He simply stood there, staring into her ash gray eyes. Minato hadn't even registered her movements until she stood mere inches from him. Her wry smile turning into a full grin. It was unnerving, her presence, and yet he was pulled into her dance.
A dance whose song ended when her lips lingered right in front of his. There was the copper sent that one could only be obtained from blood being somewhere on them, but she exuded it to a level where one would habe to bathe in it. "Karasuba." It came off as slightly more than a whisper.
He knew that all of his defenses was laid bare before her when all he could muster was a simple "Huh." In response her eyes seemed to dance with him in her crosshairs. She knew of the trance she had drawn him into, of the chills she sent down his spine, of thrill that made his heart race with just her existence. Minato wasn't a Casanova by any means, but he felt as if he should show some signs of romantic dominance a man should. After all he had made it into TU for crying out loud! Well romantic if he read into it right.
Despite his inner feelings, and pride mostly, he fell into her step once more when all she did was utter "Walk." Minato could tell this woman brought no good intent with her. All of her enjoyment came at the price of others in some extent. In short, she was poison, a snake that riddled their prey helpless with their venom. As much as he wanted to deny this hostile advancement he simply couldn't. Although he did so backwards he followed her command none the less, her hand gliding up the cold wet steel rail as his hand had.
He stayed backing up the stairs until his back ended up against his door, and the rail had been replaced by a doorknob. A slight turn reminded him of the present lock in place. In no time had she resumed the closeness from the base of the stairs effortlessly. With just as much effort her hamd slid into his pocket and removed his keys. Minato will never be able to explain how or why he let some strange woman play him like a fiddle on this night. As she unlocked the door with frightening familiarity.
As the door creaked open he backed into his apartment with no encouragement, he wanted to find his footing and make a final stand against this hostile takeover. His body unfortunately had other plans as he fell flat on his ass. The darkness engulfed the room until Karasuba, what he assumed her name to be, decided to flip on the lights. The door was shut swiftly, and from where he stood, or rather sat, he was definitely a deer in the headlights.
What happened next was something he'd remember for years to come. He'd blinked once since he entered his apartment and that was when he tried to get up. While the apartment wasn't big by any means the speed at which she moved while making no noise was beyond human. The woman wasn't very buff looking either. So when she placed her hand on his chest and forced him down withe force of a sledgehammer he was bit more than surprised.
Just like that he had been subdued before he could make his "last stand" against his unwelcomed guest. Despite her uninvited presence he her company wasn't exactly unwanted. Her hand had brought back that burning coldness that he had experienced much earlier. Karasuba had no intention of stopping there as she straddled him. "Kara.."
"Karasuba." Her tone was cold and biting, one that warranted no response. Her hand had moved from his chest to his neck before settling on his jaw, her grip betraying her tone. It sent warm shivers down his spine, he couldn't tell if it was lust or simply another's touch that did that. "You need to remember one thing and only one thing about me. I was the first and will be regarded as such." She said the last bit low and with her lips close to his. So close that he thought she had kissed him by mistake. That went out the window soon as she deepened the kiss.
What happened next had convinced him he was definitely not in his right mind. What he saw was shadows. These shadows was special though, the wasn't where you'd usually found them. No, they was in the air amd seemed as tangible as he was. They held a dark mystic beauty to them. To make matters worse they seemed to make everything around him seem darker somewhat. Almost like they absorbed the light around them. Something that wouldn't seem to out of place when keeping her in mind.
When she finally broke away from him the wings had vanished they was replaced with a feeling that could only be defined as an unbreakable bond. It was definitely unnatural, but so was this dream! "I will take nearly everything before my sisters arrived." Now this dream was definitely heading down the path of a young man's dream. He wasn't to sure what his head was gonna make up for sisters but he was willing to find out.
Welp there it is, I hope it was somewhat enjoyable. All things considered drop a review if you have thoughts. Positive or negative just don't be a dick. I know i dropped off for a while but I'm back. Remember every other week for the update.
This chapter had little to no actual insight as to what karasuba was doing before hand and more character to character interactions as well as interpersonal things. Like thoughts and feelings.
You also may have noticed that much is different from the original sekirei plan. This is because I'm completely throwing it away. Minata will be starting some shit but that's in the shadows for now. As well as the sekirei doing what they want. I'll admit my version of some of them seems a bit less hostile. That'll be because it suits me better.
P.S. I was to release one shots and a couple of short stories unfortunately i lost these chapters as well. It was the next 3 chapters. Luckily i know what i was doing with them so rewriting them in the off week is no problem. If you're looking for some of my other stories L&G rework or Tatsumi the impaler rework is next.
P.P.S. i wanna respond to people who reads so if you have questions feel free to do that in reviews as well.
