A call had woken them in the middle of the night, he answered it immediately, moving out of the bed and walking into the shadows beyond the bedroom door. Sleepily she watched him leave, confused as he hadn't been called out before this. Standing she shivered at the cool floor against her warm feet, wanting nothing more than to cuddle into his warmth again.

She looked around trying to find something to cover herself with, finding his gray hoodie and pulling it on. It swallowed her, ending just under her knees and hiding her arms from view. It covered her pajama shorts and tank top, so that's all that mattered to her. She yawned and walked out of the room, following the quickly rising voice to see what was going on.

His office door was cracked open and the light was on, causing a yellow glow within the dark apartment. Quietly opening the door she looked in to find him pacing back and forth, angrily talking to the person on the other end of his phone call. He turned in a pace again, his eyes passing right over her as he continued from one wall of the office to the other.

Turning from the room she walked to the kitchen and grabbed a couple glasses, getting them both water. Grabbing a bag of chocolate kisses before walking back to his office and sitting down in his desk chair, making sure to stay out of his way.

"Yeah, keep me posted, bye." His thumb hit against the screen before he tossed it onto the desk next to her pile of chocolates and resumed his pacing. "You should be in bed."

She nodded, picking up a chocolate unwrapping it and popping it into her mouth. "You're right, I should be. But instead I'm in the home office of a pro hero and watching him cuss out someone at 2:13 in the morning."

He scoffed and shook his head back and forth. "I wasn't cussing at her."

"You were cussing Taishiro." Jade met yellow as his eyes flashed to hers. She held firm under his stare, sipping at her water.

He broke first, shaking his head again as he finally took in a deep breathe. "I wasn't cussing at her."

He tried to start pacing again but she reached out a hoodie covered hand and snagged his arm. He froze, looking down at where her hand was squeezing his wrist through the layer of fabric. His eyes followed it up and he met her gaze again. "Taishiro please, what's going on?"

He sighed heavily and unceremoniously plopped down onto the floor, stretching his legs out and holding up his hand motioning to the glass of water. She handed it over, watching as he drank half of it in two gulps. His hand moved up and he rubbed at his head, giving himself worse bed head than before. "I can't talk to you about it, it's an agency official matter."

"Hero stuff?" She tossed a chocolate kiss at him, watching as he caught the small chocolate with his large hand. Setting the glass down he unwrapped it and put it in his mouth.

"Yeah, hero stuff." Leaning his head back he thumped it against the shelf, a low grunt slipping from his lips before he closed his eyes. "Times like this I really hate hero stuff."

She stood and walked over to him, hesitating for a second before reaching out to gently card her fingers through is hair. His arms wrapped around behind her and he crushed his forehead against her stomach. She wobbled slightly before wrapping an arm around his shoulders and petting through his hair again. He shook against her; she could feel the tremors moving through his shoulders and arms.

Unsure of what to do she softly began to hum, a lullaby she didn't really remember the words to. He stiffened and then relaxed as her quirk began to work through him, causing the anger to settle deep within him and drawing forth comfort.

They had stayed like that the rest of the early morning, his face hiding in her warmth, her gentle song soothing him. He hated her seeing him so angry, but fuck if that call from Monika didn't get him livid.

The lab had finished its testing, finding human skin and blood cells in the remnants of the bullet that had bounced off of Kirishima the other night. The structure of the cells was young, belonging to someone no older than eight. He had stopped worrying if he woke Manami when that hit his ears.

Before the call ended, when Manami had walked in with her hair pulled up into a bed head filled bun and his hoodie draped across her form, Monika had told him something else. An employee of the hospital Manami had been treated at was hurt. From the information pulled up on the screen he was working at it was all about her. They didn't find anything on the security footage either, the workstation too far from any cameras to get anything worth while.

Monika had ended the call asking him not to tell her anything as the investigation was still on going, but would tell him if anything else came up.

He longed to tell her, knew he could find some comfort in telling someone, but his loyalty to his work kept him quiet. He had wanted to tell her about the night his boys were hurt, him watching Amajiki falter without his quirk in front of his eyes. His trainee was a strong hero, he had no doubts regardless of his shy demeanor. But seeing him scared, that was something he never wanted to see again. His heart broke remembering it.

Kirishima had scared him that night too, taking a bullet to the head with no hesitation. His breathing had stopped along with time when he heard the gunshots, two aimed directly at his boys. He had swallowed it down once he saw they were fine, but it still made him wonder if they were truly ready for hero work.

A sharp tug on his ear caused him to flash back to the present, looking up at the wonderful woman who had comforted him for hours. A sleepy smile met his eyes and he felt awful for keeping her up. "Manami, I'm sorry."

"For waking me or for keeping me up so you could hear me sing for hours?" Her playful tone fell flat against him and he sighed unwrapping his arms from around her.

"Both." He stood and cupped her cheek, rubbing his thumb along the dark circle he could see forming. She leaned into it, closing her eyes and wrapping hoodie covered arms around him as much as she could. A faint smile played along his lips and he gently picked her up, carrying her out of the room and into the kitchen.

The light from the dawning sun played against her tired features and he sat her on a barstool, kissing her head before moving to the pantry to grab ingredients to make them breakfast. He turned on the coffee machine as he passed it, placing the ingredients on the counter as she laid her head on her crossed arms and watched him.

"Do you feel better?" He stopped whisking the eggs and looked over his shoulder at her. A deep sigh left him as he shook his head in answer.

"No. I don't think I'll feel better until this mission is over. Thank you for holding me though." He heard her step down from the chair. Arms wrapped around his middle and he looked down at her.

"I'm sorry it didn't help, I'm also sorry I'm not a hero so you can't talk to me about this." He scoffed and dropped the eggs into a pan.

"I don't need you to be a hero Manami, I don't even need to talk to someone about this. I just want to get it over with, and soon." He turned in her arms and leaned down to kiss her forehead. "I love being a hero, I do, but this. What's going on right now is nothing I've ever seen before and it's scaring me."

"You get scared big guy?" Her tone wasn't teasing, so he nodded answering honestly. "About what?"

"Dangerous situations I can't control. Especially if people I know are going to be involved." Her chin rested against him and he looked down into her eyes, the orange light of dawn turning them a sea glass color that he longed to dive into to escape the hell in his own. "A hero's true nightmare."

"How can I help?" She pressed a kiss against his uncovered skin and he shivered at the gentle action. He leaned down and kissed her forehead again, causing her eyes to close.

"If you could make us coffee while I make breakfast that would be great." She smiled and kissed his chest again before she moved out of his arms, heading to the fridge.

They moved around each other while he finished their breakfast, a wide selection of eggs, omelets, toast and sausage links being laid out on the island as he finished them. She set down their finished glasses of coffee and they both settled down to eat.

"Can you do me a favor?" She blinked up at him, fork in her mouth while she took another bite of her omelet. He sighed and grabbed his coffee, swallowing down the burning liquid and pleased that it was made to his liking.

She finished swallowing her bite and turned to face him on her barstool. "What is it?"

"Can you stay with me for a bit longer after your doctor's appointment?" Confusion flashed along her features and she took a drink of her own coffee.

"Why?" He sighed again and put down his fork to rub his hand along his temple, feeling a headache building. He wished he could tell her about the worker at the hospital, but without proof that it was really her they were after he couldn't do anything.

"I, I can't say." He felt awful, asking her to stay with him and unable to offer her a reason. "I'm sorry Manami, just please. Stay with me for a few more days."

She was quiet, eating her omelet and looking outside to watch the morning light get stronger. He ate his breakfast as well, watching her, waiting for a response.

When her omelet was finally gone she turned to look at him. "How many more days?"

"I can't say, another week at least." Her eyes watched him and he felt the weight of this fall harder onto his shoulders.

"Will I be able to go to my classes during that week?"

"It'll be safer if you don't." She blinked at him and then her fork, previously grabbing some eggs, clattered onto the plate. He flinched away from the noise and she turned her head away.

"I can't miss two weeks, one week is bad enough." She slid off her chair and walked over to the sink, grabbing her dishes along the way. She began to wash the dishes from breakfast. He watched her, the bite of food moving heavily down his throat.

"Manami, I wouldn't ask if I could let you leave without feeling anxious about it." She didn't turn to face him. He closed his eyes and rubbed along his head, trying to ease the tension he could feel building. "It's just another week Manami, please."

"Another week for you is missing hours of lectures for me. Struggling to catch up on assignments, trying to stay at the same level as my classmates. Not to mention that my boss will be opening the bar soon if it's not already open." Grabbing a towel and turning off the water she wiped off her hands. "I get that my situation isn't as stressful as hero work, I get it I really do. But I have responsibilities I have to follow through on, people who are counting on me to be there."

"I never said you didn't-." She raised her hand, cutting him off as she turned around to look at him.

"I can stay here during the times I'm not at college or working. That's all I can give you." She crossed her arms, protecting herself from him as they stared at each other.

His head flashed in pain and he broke first, looking down at the scraps left of his food with distaste. She walked over to a shelf and reached in, pulling out a pill bottle before walking back over to him. She placed it near him. "This will help. I'm going to get ready."

He watched her leave, the kittens racing and following along behind her, swinging and batting at the hoodie fabric moving along her calves. Once she had vanished down the hall he opened the bottle and popped three pills into his mouth, swallowing it down with the rest of his coffee.

He put his dishes into the sink before heading down the hall to his room, looking at the time and grabbing his hero uniform before moving into his shower.

Tani walked in with her lunch and she smiled up at her. "Thanks Tani, how's the office work going?"

She sighed and leaned against the desk, reaching into the bag stealing some of her fries. "Awful, calls and emails, then emails and calls. It's a constant circle of taking a step forward and then two steps back."

"Jeez I'm sorry hun, do you need help with anything?" She reached forward and pulled the bag of food to her, effectively taking Tani's stolen snack away.

Tani smiled at her and shook her head. "Nothing I can't handle, you focus on your classwork, okay?"

She had spent most of the morning talking with Tani, trying to stay awake with the few hours of sleep she had gotten. During their conversation, interrupted by the few emails Tani had to send out she learned that the woman was the oldest one in the agency. She looked very good for thirty five, and Manami had told her so when they were talking one day. Tan skin and pale pink hair that was always piled high on her head in messy buns. She had a girlfriend, a gorgeous black woman with dark skin and darker hair. Tani had been over the moon to show her pictures of them together. She also had a time telling quirk, though not at the level that she wanted to be a pro hero. She could see what would happen within ten feet of her for up to ten minutes. She said it helped her to figure out when the phone would ring or if someone would come in before they did. Tani picked up the phone on her desk right before it started ringing and Manami took that as her que to get to work herself.

She had spent the early afternoon working on her easier assignments, mostly coping notes from pictures her classmates had sent her. Now she nibbled on her sandwich and fries as she resumed the documentary on Pro Hero Hawks, an easy choice for her to make for one of the heroes she needed to focus on for her essay. She still had yet to pick the second one, but figured she could ask what heroes everyone else was doing before she chose her next one.

His handsome smile filled the screen and the corners of her mouth lifted in response. The sound of her best friends ringtone pushed through her headphones and she paused the documentary to toss them off and pick up her phone. Her smile grew at the sound of his cello playing and she answered, putting a stop to the beautiful melody. "Hello my batty bestie!"

His deep timber filled her ears, a laugh that she loved more than anything else waking her up. "Hello to you too Ami."

She smiled at the nickname and closed her laptop, giving him all her attention. "So, what's going on? You never call."

"Well, I would have stopped by your apartment, but you're not there right now. So, calling it is. How are you feeling love?" Concern pushed through his playfulness and she sighed, rubbing her head.

"Tired, my neck is still tender but it's much better."

"Good. How are your classes? Have you caught up yet my little over achiever?" She laughed and shook her head.

"Not quite. I finished the notes I missed, and now I have to watch two documentaries on two pro heroes and write an essay on why they are pro heroes." I rolled my eyes at the vague essay topic, vague made it easier to mess up.

"Oh, did you pick our favorite winged hero?"

"But you're not a pro hero! How could I choose you?" His laugh rang through again and she smiled, leaning back in the chair to enjoy it.

She had known him since middle school, and he still made her smile as easily as he did then. He had a heteromorphic quirk, giving him the physical looks between a human and a bat. Bullies had been harsh, not taking well to what they called a 'mutant' within their private girls academy. Manami had stood up for him, taking some of the beatings but mostly forcing the bullies to leave with her own quirk.

High school had been easier, both of them going to the same private academy that focused on quirks used for entertainment. Her friend was amazing with his two instruments, the violin and cello. She went for singing, not much had changed there. It was in their final year that he came out to her as transgender. His family had tossed him aside, refusing to accept him as both a 'mutant' and an 'abomination'. She hated his family, making sure to take the scholarship to the same college he got one. They had left their hometowns and had yet to look back. He had gotten his masters in musical education, and they lived together until he had moved out to give her the separation they both needed.

He now had an amazing job at an event venue, teaching kids how to play different instruments and hosting/planning events when they needed to do fundraisers. She was incredibly proud of her friend and told him so whenever she got the opportunity.

"You know who I mean. Don't play dumb with me." His voice drew her back and she tapped her pencil against her chin in thought.

"Hmm, a winged hero that is both of our favorites? I wonder who that could be?"

"It wouldn't happen to be the same hero we have drinks with at least once a month with, could it?" His answering playful tone made her cheeks flush in happiness.

"Pretty sure you see him more than that Kage." She knew he was blushing, could imagine him rubbing the fur along his chest in embarrassment.

"I can neither confirm nor deny. Our hero has secrets." She huffed into the line.

"I wish you both would just kiss and get it over with. The sexual tension whenever you two are near each other is ridiculous." They met at least once a month since they had met the hero almost a year ago. It was technically her fault they had run into each other at all.

The graduation ceremony for their masters degree had happened that day, and while they hadn't been expecting much, the complete disregard from their families still hurt. She had taken her friend out for a night on the town. They had danced, drank as many drinks as they could get, and ended the night walking towards their apartment, both singing happily as they made their way.

A sudden form had landed before them and they were both surprised to see a younger guy walking out of the shadows to face them. His blonde hair was wind tossed, yellow glasses being pushed into the locks as he moved towards them. Big beautiful wings moved behind him and her friends wings moved out in answer.

"Who are you?" Kage had asked, moving in front of her to act as protection. The man had stopped, watching them curiously.

"Who was just singing?" They looked at each other before looking back at him.

"We asked who you are." Kage's voice turned hard as he examined him. A smile finally broke on the strangers face and he bowed at the waist.

"My hero name is Hawks." She had moved forward at that, gently pushing her friends extended wings back towards him.

"I've heard of you. You're the youngest hero to get into the top ten." He had straightened up and smiled at her words.

"Yep that's me. Now can you answer my question, who was just singing?"

"Both of us were, but why does that matter?" Kage had answered, wrapping an arm around her waist to pull her close to him. He didn't seem to care who the man was, hero or not.

"Because one of you called me down here, and looking at your wings I'm assuming it was her." His golden eyes looked her friend up and down before moving to look at her. He walked forward and she startled against her friend.

"What are you doing?" He didn't answer her, only moving closer until she finally hummed a tune and his body froze. "I asked you what you were doing!"

Kage gripped her tighter, fighting against her quirk to stay near her. She had only thought of get away when she had hummed, clearly her tipsy state had made it unable to focus only on the stranger.

She dropped her quirk, feeling more tired than usual and the man blinked rapidly as it left him. He rubbed his chin and folded his wings in tight behind him as he watched them. "You have a vocal quirk. Must have been what made me fly down here."

"If I did it I'm sorry, we were only heading home." His smile stopped her.

"I'm not angry, just curious. All I felt was happiness and a voice in my mind that said 'Fun. Fun here.' I was patrolling, but nothing has happened tonight. I'm happy for the distraction. What are your names and quirks?"

"I'm Kage. I have supersonic hearing and my heteromorphic wings." She looked over at her friend and then forward to Hawks.

"I'm Manami, I have vocal reaction. And yours is?" He laughed and rubbed his neck, walking closer to them and holding out a glove covered hand.

"Hawks, quirk is Fierce Wings." Kage shook his hand and then she shook it.

"What were you guys out celebrating?" He asked, looking like he wasn't going to be leaving for a while.

"We just graduated, masters." Kage answered, releasing his grip on her waist finally. "Kind of wanted to have a bit of fun before we enter the working world."

"Makes sense, congrats to you both. What was your major?"

"Kage did musical education and mine is in quirk history. Are you in school?" She asked curiously.

"No, my hero work takes up too much time for that. Plus school was never my thing, though what you guys do sounds interesting. Mind telling me more about it?"

Kage's yawn had startled them all. He flushed heavily, his dark skin tone turning darker around his cheeks and she laughed at him. "Tired Kage?"

"Very, we've only been up since 7 in the morning yesterday." He turned his cellphone to face her and she was surprised to see that it was almost four in the morning.

"Oh wow, didn't realize we had been out that long." She murmured.

"Here, I'll give you my number Hawks, if you want to learn more about what we studied we can meet up some night when you're not on patrol. Sound good?" Kage held out his hand for the hero's phone.

Hawk smiled and pulled it out of his pocket, handing it over to her friend. She swore she could see a light pink dusting his cheeks but it was gone before her tipsy mind could focus. "Sounds good to me."

After that Kage had messaged back and forth with him. They had met the following week at a restaurant Hawks had recommended to them for lunch. He had so many questions about college and even their earlier schooling, it had been a bit overwhelming, but she soon learned he was just curious.

With the amount of time her introverted friend spent with the hero she could swear Hawks liked him as much as he liked him. Hawks was always the one that asked for them to meet, though it was easier for him to make plans since he was the busiest of the three of them.

"It's nothing like that Ami. Hawks, he just likes to ask questions." She huffed at her friend.

"He likes to ask you questions Kage. Whenever I see him he flirts a bit, asks me how school is going but then focuses back on you."

"Relax Ami. This call wasn't about my love life, or lack there of." She grumbled into the phone and he huffed a laugh. "I called to ask you a favor."

"Of course!" She answered immediately. He was her closest and longest friend, anything he needed she would do her best to give.

"We have a fundraiser happening at a bigger venue than our usual one. My boss asked me to get some more entertainment besides the kids, so I was hoping you could help. Maybe use your skills to help the big guys open up a bit more?"

"Kage Ongako, are you asking me to use my quirk on the rich and greedy to make them open their wallets and give money to the poor students you teach?"

"Yes." He deadpanned.

She laughed and rubbed her head, pushing away the headache building. "If it's needed I'll use my quirk to help, but hopefully with the kids, you and me they won't need any assistance."

"You are beautiful, my one true love. Marry me." She laughed again and rolled her eyes. They caught on the door as it was pushed open and she saw Gum walk through, holding a bag and giving her a tired smile.

"If you weren't spoken for I would, send me the details and times that we can practice. I have to go, love you!" He answered in kind and they ended the call. She put her phone down on his desk and moved to get up. "Do you need your desk? I can go work in the main office."

"You can stay there. I'm going to be leaving again soon anyways. Have to patrol for a few hours." He put the bag down next to her old one and pulled up one of his chairs to sit. She sat back and moved some of her things out of his way as he unpacked his food. He bit into his noodles aggressively and she watched him for a few minutes in silence.

He paused to take a drink and she spoke up. "How did the meeting go?

He growled in frustration and dug back into his noodles. She took that as an answer and moved to look over the notes she had taken over the part of the documentary she had been able to watch. She hummed in thought as she began to cross off items she didn't need. "I wonder if I could just call him and ask him."

"Call who?"

She blinked up at him in surprise. "I didn't realize I had spoken out loud. Sorry."

He shook his head and put his box of noodles down, reaching for his drink again. "You can talk to me Mochi, I may be in a bad mood but I'm not going to take it out on you."

She gave him a soft smile and looked back at her notes. "I have to watch two documentaries on two pro heroes, and then write an essay on why they became heroes. I'm watching one on Hawks right now, but it pretty much goes over what he's done, not why he got into hero work. I'm wondering if I call and ask him if it's considered cheating."

"You know Hawks?" He asked, looking down at her notes.

"Yeah, I have lunch with him once a month. He's close friends with my best friend. You remember him, he's the one I've been calling and texting since I've been at your place." She turned her notebook around so he could look at her notes. "We're not super close, but I bet if I tell him it's for class he'll let me do a short interview."

"Kage right? That's your friend?" She nodded and he pulled her notes closer to look at them. "Who's the other hero you're going to look into?"

"Maybe Gang Orca, a new documentary came out about him recently, plus he's not a huge crowd favorite so it'll be nice to give the spotlight to someone else." He smiled and moved her notebook back.

"That sounds like a good idea. Orca is a great guy, I bet if you email his agency he'll go for an interview too." He smiled at her wide eyes. "Yes I know him, we've worked together on a couple missions."

"Do you think he'd really do an interview? I've only seen him do a small handful of them." She opened her laptop and began to type in the information, trying to find a way to reach his agency.

"Like you said, he's not a crowd favorite. News casters usually focus on the bigger heroes. I bet he would be more than happy to help." She copied the phone number listed and put it in her notebook to call later.

"That's so awesome, thanks Gum." He smiled and grabbed another box of noodles as she closed her laptop again. "I'll need to email my professor to see if it's okay that I get a direct interview, I'll still watch the documentaries of course, but he's super picky."

"Sounds like it. Let me know if you need some more heroes. More than happy to help." She jotted down ideas as he ate, both of them in a comfortable silence until her phone buzzed.

She picked it up and looked over the event information Kage had sent her. She nodded along as she read and looked up when she felt his gaze on her. "What's up?"

"Who was that?" He asked, finishing his noodles and tossing their garbage into the trash.

"Kage, he needs me to help him work an event for his work." She looked at the date of the event and hummed in concern. "That's only two weeks away, do we have enough time to practice?"

"What's two weeks away?" Gum stood and walked around the desk to peer over her shoulder. "A charity concert?"

"It's technically a fundraising concert. Kage teaches students to play instruments and they play for different events. This is one they host twice a year to try and get donations from those invited. This is going to be a bigger event so he needs someone else to help." She lifted her phone up to him and he grabbed it to look the information closer.

"Why would you need to practice?" He asked handing her phone back.

"He wants me to sing a couple songs. Some with him, a couple probably by myself." She began to look at different songs she could sing as he walked around the desk to sit back down. "I'll have to work really hard this week to catch up in my classes, plus practice with him and help set up the venue. I hope he has the kids and some of the other workers helping too, this place looks huge."

He narrows his eyes at the phone, jealousy brimming underneath his smile as he thinks about everything that's happened today. He had too little sleep, and too many things annoying him to try this conversation again, but it needs to happen. "Mochi?"

She tilts her head, showing she was paying attention but her eyes still looking at her phone.

"I don't think you should do the event." Her eyes flick up to his and hers narrow slightly.

"Why not? He's my friend and we've done plenty of events before." Her gaze widens and she gives a small smile. "Are you jealous?"

He was. Jealous of the friend she had that had her smiling at her phone whenever it buzzed. Jealous that she knew the number two hero in all of Japan, an arrogant uncaring boy. He had met him a few times, but never understood why he had become a hero when he easily could have done anything else. He's a talented hero, he couldn't fault him there, but he didn't understand how someone so young was so high in popularity.

But that wasn't the reason he didn't want her to do the event. The idea of someone getting hurt because someone dangerous was looking for her was still fresh on his mind. "No, it's because of another reason."

"What's the other reason?" She asked, her smile falling away. He shook his head, unable to tell her but wanting to so she would know the danger she might be in. "Gum I can't say no to this if you don't give me a good reason to."

"Can you please just trust me?" He reached over and grabbed her hand. "Just until we know it's safe."

"How do we know it's not safe?" He couldn't answer her. She turned her hand in his so their palms laid against each other. "I know something is happening with the heroes, but I can't just ignore my friend or this job opportunity because of a 'what if'. I'm sorry Gum, but fear doesn't control me, not anymore."

He sighed in frustration and tried to pull his hand away, she gripped his tighter and her glare froze him. "Fat Gum. You will listen to me or you will sleep alone tonight. Until you can give me a very good reason as to why the whole event should be cancelled, not just me missing it, I will be practicing and helping my friend to make it happen. This is the biggest event he has been asked to handle since he got this job, I will be there to support him whether you believe it is a smart decision or not."

He sighed and bowed his head, leaning forward to press his forehead against hers. "Okay Mochi, I'll be supportive."

He opened his eyes to see her bright smile and his gut loosened the knot it was in slightly. "Can I get an invite?"

She tilted her head to the side as she answered. "You want to come?"

"See you dress all fancy, meeting your best friend, eating all the fancy little foods, and watching you sing? Absolutely I want to come." Her smile beamed again and he returned it. "Actually, I'll have you give Tani the invite to the event, I know a bunch of heroes that would love to come to this."

She jumped up from her chair and raced around to throw herself into his arms and kiss along his face. "You are amazing! I'll make sure to send it over as soon as possible. Do you think they'll come?"

"You'd be surprised how many heroes like to go to galas and fundraising events. Plus if it has the attachment from my agency, they're even more likely to come. Heroes have deep pockets, it's time we used them for things other than ourselves." He pulled her away so he could press a kiss against her lips. "Just do me a favor and let me buy the outfit you wear that night, okay?"
