Lola was so happy, she could hardly stand still.

Today...

Her daddy and her mommy were getting married.

For the occasion, Lola wore a pretty white dress made of lace, and full of frills, that Francès had bought with her.

Francès had left it up to Lola to choose her dress.

Since Lola had come to see Goren's mother, Francès had progressed a lot in her illness, evolving positively, and she had the possibility to go out, and to walk around with Lola.

And all this, Francès owed it to this wonderful little girl.

Lola looked so pretty in her little white dress, her long golden hair in two braids tied with little white roses.

Her future daughter-in-law was all in beauty, she radiated in her white dress, which revealed her beautiful rounded belly, and a white belt that held it.

Eames had her golden hair tied up in a bun, where a few strands escaped, and where a light veil was maintained by small white pearls.

- Lola...

At her name, Lola looked away from the mirror, to her grandmother.

- You come...

Lola nodded, and rushed to Francès' side.

- Wait a second, will you...

Francès went towards Eames, and when she reached him, she raised her hands towards Alex's face, to lift him gently towards hers, brought her lips close to his forehead, brushed it.

- My son could not have made a better choice. Eames pinked with pleasure, his heart beating violently in his chest. My daughter...

My daughter...

Had Eames heard right...

Had Bobby's mother really called her daughter...

Then she had really accepted it.

Francès let her hands fall gently, stepped aside, and returned to Lola's side.

Lola took Fresco's hand in hers, intertwined her little fingers with his.

- See you later, Mom...

Alex smiled, touched.

Lola immediately took a liking to Goren's mother.

And she had immediately considered her grandmother.

Eames had always known...

That a man like Goren...

Could only have a nice mother.

- Alex...

At the sound of her father's voice, Alex snapped out of her thoughts, and turned her attention to the man standing in the doorway.

- You're ready...

Eames nodded, and walked over to her father, who was holding out his arm.

She put her hand on her father's arm and followed him, her heart pounding violently in her chest.

She was finally going to be Madam Goren.

Eames walked slowly down the center aisle of the church on her father's arm.

She had thought that her veil would be useless...

When in fact...

It was hiding her emotion.

Her heart was pounding so hard, she could hear the beating of her heart in her ears.

Eames looked up, and her heart stopped dead in front of the man who was standing straight as a pin on the altar, his hand resting on the back of her neck.

Then Goren was as anxious as she was.

She smiled, tenderized.

Damn...

He was really cute in his white suit.

She had never seen him wearing a light colored suit...

And it was a pity.

Because it went to him wonderfully.

This white highlighted her slightly tanned complexion, and the color of its curls half ebony, half ashy.

Eames had the breath taken.

He was gorgeous.

Goren felt two eyes on him.

Goren looked up, and met Alex's big hazel eyes through the veil.

He could feel the glare of her eyes on him through the thin fabric.

Goren blushed violently.

Damn it...

He was uncomfortable.

This was such an awkward situation...

Even if it was his dearest wish...

He never thought it would be so...

But seeing Alex in that white dress, was worth all the detours...

And he did not regret anything.

She was simply beautiful...

With this dress that revealed her beautiful rounded belly, and which was maintained by a belt of the same color.

He put his glance on the hand of Alex put on the arm of his father.

With the gestures of his fingers, he understood that Alex was as worried as him.

He felt reassured.

Then she too...

She was afraid.

Damn it...

He would never have believed that it was something so formal.

And he...

Wasn't much of a person to like those things.

He was even the kind of person to run away from them.

But for Alex he was ready to do anything.

For her to be by his side as his equal...

As his wife.

Goren looked around the front row, meeting his mother and Lola who was standing next to him, holding her hand in his.

Goren remembered the night he had asked Eames if he could invite his mother to their wedding.

Alex had smiled mischievously.

And she had told him that it was already done.

That she was his future mother-in-law...

And that she had to attend the wedding.

Damn it...

He hadn't expected that.

He had hesitated to ask her...

And Alex had beaten him to it.

God, he loved that woman...

- Bobby...

At Eames' little worried voice, he came out of his thoughts, to discover in front of him, an Alex who was questioning him with her eyes through the veil.

And at his side, a Johnny Eames, who offered him the hand of his daughter.

- I entrust her to you.

Goren took Alex's hand in his, blushing, and intertwined his fingers with hers.

Johnny nodded, and went to sit on the front row bench, next to his wife, and his little girl.

Gently, but with trembling hands, Goren reached out and lifted Alex's veil, revealing Eames' blushing face.

Eames did not dare to look at him.

His heart was beating violently in his chest, ready to explode.

- Alex...

At the softness of Bobby's voice, Alex looked up, only to find two brown eyes looking at her, shining with concern, and also with wonder.

So Bobby was as worried as she was.

That's what gave her courage.

- You're ready...

Eames nodded, her cheeks pink.

Goren took her other hand in his, and they both turned to the priest.
