Chapter 2 Crew Expendable
En route to the Bearing straight
0300 hours
A:Bravo team, the Intel on this op comes from our informant in Russia... The package is aboard a medium freighter, Estonian registration number 52775... There is a small crew and a security detail on board.

Catra sits across from adora in the helicopter, she watches the freighter come into view through the torrent of rain outside the helicopter. Adora is double checking her gear making sure everything's in place, Glimmer is handing some extra ammo to Griffen, Glimmer looks at Catra and taps her "Hey, bet i can get more kills than you on this." Catra looks at her and smirks "Oh yeah? your on." The helicopter flies along side the ship until it stops at the bridge and everyone slides on their gasmasks and catra slams in a new mag in her MP5 and slaps the bolt down then grabs the rope and follows Adora and Macaba down, she hits the deck and shoulders her MP5 taking aim at the soldiers in the bridge, over the radio adora says "open fire!". Catra fires a burst into a guy sitting with his feet up knocking him back and spraying blood on the floor, then she shifts her aim to a man at a control panel firing another burst hitting him in the head spraying blood against the controls.
Adora and Macaba shoot the other crew members through the glass seeing them drop to the floor. Adora says over comms "Hold your fire. Glim - stay in the bird until we secure the deck, over." Glimmer responds "Roger that." Adora looks at Catra "Take point." Catra nods then moves to the stair way "Stairs are clear." she says over the comms, she moves down the stairs Adora following behind. She turns the corner and sees a man stumble out of a crew quarters with a bottle in hand, Adora moves up beside her, the soldier raises his bottle towards them "ваше здоровье!" he cheers. Adora shoots him with a burst from her M4 dropping him to the ground with a short spray if blood "last call" she says over comms. Adora points to the room he came out of "Clear it" Catra pulls out her USP45 and turns the corner into the room and sees two soldiers sleeping she hesitates for a second but a soldier moves in his bed and she aims and shoots him and the other soldier in the head. Macaba walks by her and mumbles "Sweet dreams." She ignores him and holsters her pistol and shoulders her MP5 once more heading back out into the rain.
"Crew quarters clear!" Adora announced over comms. The helicopter pilot tells Griffen,Glimmer, and Wallcroft "Forward deck is clear! Greenlight on alpha, go!"
Catra moves up as the rest of the team hits the deck. Adora gives the order to move up "Spotted two on the platform." Glimmer announces. Adora spots them and gives the order "Open fire." Glimmer takes aim "Roger that." The two soldiers get shot and drop at the same time, Catra and Glimmer look at each other laugh a little as they move on. "Clear" Catra says over radio. Catra is on point moving up clearing any open containers as she turns a corner Glimmer says over radio "We've got company" Catra looks up to the second floor and sees a squad of soldiers aiming rifles and machine guns at her. She feels herself get pulled down behind cover as bullets fly over head striking metal containers and wooden boxes spraying sparks and wood chips, Catra looks over and sees Adora checking her out... for wounds, "I'm okay... I'm alright" she says to the Captain slightly exasperated. Adora nods then puts a hand to her radio "Hammer two-four, we got tangos on the 2nd floor." "Copy, engaging" the pilot acknowledges.
Catra sees it hover in front of the windows and a roar of bullets rip through the 2nd floor from the helicopters Minigun, silencing the soldiers. Catra stands up and advances, silently cursing herself for having reacted slowly and having adora save her. "Wallcroft, Griffen Cover our six the rest of you follow me." The team stacks up on a door Glimmer pulls a shotgun off of her back and says "I like to keep this for close encounters." "To right mate." Macaba responds. Adora grabs the bulkhead and unlocks it "On my mark... Go!" she yells as she pulls it open Glimmer goes first then Catra then Macaba and Adora. The team advances down the levels clearing the hallways. "stairs clear." Catra says as she heads down them Macaba points to some shadows to the right "Movement right." Catra turns down the hallway and crouches aiming her MP5 and she sees 4 soldiers at the end of the hallway, she fires a long burst down the hallway killing one soldier and hitting another in the leg, suppressing the other two. Macaba shoots the wounded soldier in the head, Adora shoots a soldier in the head when he peaks the corner, glimmer shoots the last one when he ran out of cover.
They advance down the hallway to cargo hold and Glimmer peaks around the corner before jerking her head back as the doorways lit up with SMG fire, Adora preps a flash and bounces it off the wall and they head into the cargo hold and shoot the soldiers spraying blood on the mechanical tools they were using. Catra takes point again checking her corners moving through the shipping containers, a soldier jumps out from her side with a pistol and catra grabs his gun and wrestles with him for it before she hits him takes the gun and turns it on him, shooting him in the head spraying blood and brains all over a container. "You okay?" Adora asks as she sees Catra "Yeah, I'm good" Catra responds quickly as she drops the pistol and moves on. They breach another bulkhead but they move up to the scaffolding and they maneuver and fire at soldiers on the opposite catwalk. Catra gets to the stairs and move down taking cover behind some barrels and popping up to fire a burst at an advancing enemy hitting him in the chest dropping him to the floor in a short spray of blood she advances up and throws a flashbang past the doorway into the next cargo hold and she moves in when it goes off and she fires a burst killing one soldier then hearing a *click* she sucks down and slams a new magazine in and slaps the bolt home aiming for another target emptying another mag before the firefights over. After Adora and the others took the enemy soldiers out Glimmer picked up something on her Geiger counter.

"Ma'am you might wanna take a look at this" Glimmer says as she opens a shipping container. Catra looks and sees a lead lined case with a radioactive symbol on it, Adora looks closer "Hmm... it's in Arabic. Baseplate this is bravo six. we've found it ready to secure package for transport." "No time bravo six. Two bogies headed your way fast. Grab what you can and get the hell out of there." Everyone looks surprised at the news readying to move "Fast movers, probably Migs we better go before they sink us" Glimmer says. Adora looks at catra "Catra, grab the manifest in the container move!" Catra grabs the clipboard and puts it somewhere safe then follows Adora and Glimmer. "All right, everyone top side double time!" Adora calls over radio "Wallcroft, Griffen what's your status?"
"Already in the helicopter Ma'am. enemy aircraft inbound... Shit!! They've opened fire get-" The radio is cut short as an explosion rips through the hill of the ship knocking everyone over and pouring in water. Catra looks around disoriented hearing command over the radio "Bravo six! come in! Bravo six, what's your status!"
Macaba yells over the sound of rushing water "Shit!! What the hell happened!?" Glimmer gets to her feet "The ships sinking, we've got to go now!" command again "Bravo six! Come in damnit!" Catra sees Adora get to her feet out of the water "Big bird this is Bravo six we're on our way out!" She grabs catra and pulls her up and yanking her back into focus but catra only notices how close their faces are "On your feet soldier! We are leaving!" Adora yells snapping her back to the situation.
She stands up and follows Adora up the stairs and over the catwalks slipping when the ship would tremble but getting back up and keep moving "Talk to me bravo six! Where are you!" Adora yells back at the pilot almost annoyed "Standby! it's hard to navigate when your leaning sideways!" Catra keeps running till they finally make it out side running to the rear of the boat and she sees the rear of a Seaknight open up and she sees Glimmer, Macaba, and Adora jump in from the ship, Catra steps up on the railing and jumps as far as she can but she's short a few inches and tries to climb on but her hands are slipping (shit!Shit!shit!) Then a pair of hands grab hers firmly "Gotcha!" and she looks up to see blue eyes staring back at her intensely and it felt like an hour but really on a few seconds later Adora pulls her aboard. Adora yells to the pilot "All right were all aboard get up out of here!". Catra sits in the floor of the Seaknight watching the ship sink into the ocean and slowly fade away, then she gets up and sits in a seat.
Catra doesn't know how long she sat there thinking about what just happened but she was snapped out of her trance by someone tapping her on the arm- Adora. "You okay? No broken bones, bullet holes or the such?" Catra realizes how much she hurts right then. "Just some bruises Ma'am nothing bad" Adora just nodded and smiled - catra swears her heart skipped a beat - "Good don't go getting yourself killed, you did good but you hesitated." Catra looks ashamed "Sorry Ma'am it won't happen again." Catra says and she means it, Adora just smiles again - Catras heart can't take this - "Good i don't want anyone dead on my team. Anyways get some rest it'll be a while till we get back to Credenhill." Catra smiles back at her "I will ma'am." and she did thinking about someone.
