Yennefer is a responsible person with an impeccable reputation, she just has one secret: she's a nymphomaniac who has her target set on Geralt and his many "talents." 10. Chapter 10: New Year, New Love (Finale)

CH 10: New Year, New Love.

Narrator's POV:

"Home sweet home." Yennefer finally unpacked her bag while looking out the window at the rain. "It would be great to get some snow rather than this wet muck." Yennefer made a face, her phone buzzed. She looked to see a message from Geralt, who managed to convince her that they would become roommates. Geralt said they would not only save money, but they'd get to know each other better—which he also believed would further convince Yennefer that they were compatible. Geralt agreed to back down from his pressing question on becoming an official couple, and in Yennefer's eyes they were indeed exclusive. For now they were enough for one another. Yennefer was beginning to adjust to having Val Istredd around and he began to tease less, he even went out on a handful of dates when the instructors went out for drinks. Yennefer was, though timid to fully admit it, rather happy lately.

"Alright, now just prepping for next semester." Yennefer had her hair tied up, a pen resting on her lower lip (out of habit) and writing down in her agenda.

"Yen, don't you think you should be focusing on relaxing rather than getting stressed over next semester." Geralt sighed, wearing his glasses while reading one of his novels. He was resting on the couch, watching Yennefer in the kitchen at the table. "Come sit over here, find a movie we can watch." Geralt put a mark on the chapter and watched as Yennefer sighed, nodding her head. Geralt found the remote buried under a fuzzy blanket and turned the TV on, connecting to Netflix and scrolling for their favorite show. Yennefer was beginning to appreciate these simple, quiet times with just the two of them.

"You know, I'm actually kind of looking forward to this new year." Yennefer leaned against him.
"Oh really? And why's that Yen?" Geralt looked down, connecting with her lavender eyes.

"I think I have a lot I'm looking forward to. And I actually have someone I'm okay with hanging around with." Yennefer took Geralt's hand into her own.

"Well I'm flattered." He kissed her brow.

"Who knows, this just very well may be the year for a new love." Yennefer captured Geralt's lips in a lingering kiss.
