Someone startled me from my pleasant dreams of blue bacon. "Time to get up Scarlett." My dad whispered in my ear and tickled me a little bit. "Five more minutes!" I moaned. It was Saturday, why did I have to get up? "Moms making pancakes." He tempted me tickling me more as well. "And blue bacon?" I questioned. "And eggs." He read my mind. My sea green eyes flew open to see a matching pair level with mine. My dad tousled my blond hair I got from my mom. "You better hurry before George eats all the bacon." He said as he left. "I'm up!!" I partially yelled. I hurried and threw my favorite summer dress on and ran into the kitchen. I accidentally bumped into George. He glared at me, using the glare he had inherited from his mother. I wanted to glare back with my scarier glare I got from dad, but instead I smiled and looked into his intense grey eyes, then tousled his black hair. He smiled a little. We ran into our marble kitchen to grab breakfast. "Don't forget to thank your mom for breakfast." My dad reminded us. "Yeah since your dad couldn't get up and do it himself for once." My dad put a hand to his heart "You hit me where it really hurts." He moaned. My mom just rolled her eyes and kissed him. I averted my gaze when they did. Yuck, kissing, gross. I'm only twelve people. "Mommy? Daddy? How did you meet?" George asked in his cute little 5-year-old voice. Mom and dad had one of those silent chats with their eyes. "Well I went to a summer camp when I was twelve and I went there until I was 18-19-" dad started. "And we met and twelve and became best friends." Mom finished. Wow? Twelve? I thought. I headed to our mahogany table to sit down and eat but I heard my glass plate crash to the floor and I felt the sensation of falling. I was having another blackout.
