A/N: Sorry for the long wait! Been super busy, but here's an update finally!

Part Sixteen

7 years later….

Punk and AJ were still in their beautiful apartment home raising Prima. They had been married for six years now and Prima and their relationship was thriving. As for Jamie Meyers? He was still in New Jersey. He violated parole a few years back trying to flee New Jersey and was locked up for a few more years. But he had been out for a while and it seemed like all was normal. Not a day went by when AJ didn't think of him though. Knowing he was free was always something that haunted her. Not out of fear for herself, but for her daughter.

"I don't know why I can't visit Grandma and Grandpa." Prima huffed from the living room as she colored on the coffee table.

Prima was a mini AJ. Dark hair, dark eyes, sassy sense of humor and the inability to take 'no' for an answer.

"Because they live in New Jersey." AJ reminded her as she cooked dinner.

"But we can go visit." Prima reasoned.

"We can't this summer, I'm sorry baby." AJ sighed and Prima groaned.

"Grandma and Grandpa have a pool." Prima pointed out.

"I know, baby." AJ sighed.

"I'll be a good girl! I promise!" Prima swore.

"Prima." AJ warned.

"Hey." Punk greeted walking in the front door and Prima glared at him. "What I do?" Punk asked AJ fearfully.

"Your daughter wants to go on vacation." AJ informed him.

"Love that idea." Punk grinned and Prima's head shot up with a smile.

"To New Jersey." AJ added quickly and Punk sighed.

"We can go anywhere you want, Princess. Just not there." Punk told Prima who pouted.

"I want to see Grandma and Grandpa." Prima argued.

"I know you do." Punk said to her. "And they were just here for two unbelievably long weeks." He pointed out and now AJ glared at him.

"It's not the same." Prima said to him. "Why can't I go there?"

"Because New Jersey smells." Punk lied quickly.

"No it doesn't we went there before." Prima reminded him and went back to coloring.

They did go once with Prima, when Jamie was locked up but there would be no way they'd be bringing their daughter there with that man free.

"It does now." Punk reasoned and Prima jumped up and ran into her room.

"It's like she knows and she's trying to drive me crazy." AJ said to Punk who walked over and kissed her hello.

"She is a little you." Punk reminded her.

"I feel bad." AJ admitted. "I mean she really wants to go."

"I feel bad too." Punk agreed. "But I'm not willing to risk antagonizing your stalker who has been pretty peaceful the last few years."

"I know." AJ sighed. "She's been on this all day."

"Prima is crying." A little voice announced and AJ looked over to see their youngest child.

Harley Brooks was born almost two years to the day after Prima. She was as much of a surprise as her sister but a happy one. She had truly completed their family. Their apartment was big enough for the four of them, they were a tight family and Prima and Harley were close enough in age to be close which made AJ and Punk very happy.

"I'll talk to her." Punk offered.

"No, I got it." AJ said as Harley walked over to Punk and he picked her up and kissed her cheek.

"You a good girl today?" Punk asked her.

"No." Harley told him honestly and he eyed her.

"At least you're honest." He groaned placing on her the counter.

AJ walked into Prima's room and saw her crying into her bed.

"Come on now, Prima." AJ said gently rubbing her back.

"Why are you so mean? I just want to see Grandma and Grandpa I really miss them." Prima said sitting up now and AJ used a tissue to clean her eyes.

"I know you want to go, it's just not the right time but I promise you one day we will go back." AJ assured her.

"But why can't we go?" Prima asked her.

"Because it's just not safe enough for two little girls right now." AJ explained.

"So? Leave Harley home." Prima suggested.

"Harley would be so sad to hear you say that." AJ said to her and Prima sighed. "You know she doesn't want to go anywhere without you."

"I guess." Prima sighed.

"Grandma and Grandpa were just here." AJ reminded her. "And they'll be back."

"But they showed me pictures of their house and it's so BIG!" Prima explained. "And they have a swing on a tree."

"I know." AJ said with a sad smile. "I miss New Jersey too. I was born there."

"So we should go." Prima insisted.

"It's just not the right time." AJ frowned cupping her face. "Trust me."

"I do trust you. I just don't like it." Prima nearly cried.

Later that night after both girls went to bed AJ felt arms around her waist as she washed up the dishes.

"I missed you." AJ smiled feeling him kiss her neck.

"I miss you too." He said into her ear and nipped on it. "Prima still seems upset."

"I know." She said turning around to face him. "I mean-"

"No." Punk stated firmly. "I feel bad, I really do but if he gets a whiff of you there he's going to be all over your parents house. He's going to be watched our daughters." He reminded her.

"What if you take them and I stay behind?" She suggested and he laughed.

"Oh, yea." Punk remarked amused. "I'll take the kids, stay with your parents. Your stalker can see us then know you're all alone and come here."

"Maybe he's over it." AJ said to him. "I haven't heard from him in years."

"Because he has no way to contact you." He reminded her. "Trust me, he hasn't moved on men like him don't. Let's not rock the boat with this."

"I hate that he impacts my kids lives." AJ said to him.

"I know you do. It sucks and it's unfair but we've been safe and happy for almost ten years lets keep it that way." He suggested and she just nodded.

"I know you want to give in to her and just go. Believe me I do too. But Prima will forget this and we will do something fun this summer." He assured her.

"I know we will." She said to him. "I already picked out or vacation anyway." she informed him hugging him and he looked down at her.

"Did you now?" He asked nervously. "Is it as expensive as last year?"

"Disney? No. But more expensive than staying with my parents in New Jersey." she said said grabbing him paperwork she printed out.

"A lake house." He noted impressed.

"You can do your boring fishing, there's a water park nearby for the girls and at night when the girls are sleeping we can go swimming in the lake." She smiled looking up.

"Why would we swim without the girls?" He asked her and she tilted her head.

"We will. But night swimming for the adults is naked swimming." She pointed out.

"Oh, I like that." Punk grinned. "Let's book it."

"Ok." She smiled then heard a knock at the door. "That's Lucy."

Punk opened the door for their babysitter, a 15 year old neighbor who had been watching Prima and Harley for a year now.

"Hi, Mr & Mrs. Brooks." She said holding her school book.

"Summer school?" Punk asked.

"No just reading ahead." She told them.

"Try to convince Prima reading is cool." AJ said putting on her jacket.

"She loves reading." Lucky laughed.

"They're already sleeping but you know they'll sense you're here and jump up." Punk warned her as he grabbed his keys.

"They're never any trouble." Lucy assured them.

"We won't be too late." AJ promised.

"Take your time." Lucy encouraged. "I've got a lot of reading." She said already sitting on the couch and opening a book.

"I really need both girls to take after her." Punk whispered to AJ as they walked out of the apartment.

Across town at Jakes, the bar was pretty crowded but Dean waved them over to his table.

"Why is it so crowded?" AJ asked removing her jacket.

"It's a playoff game." Dean said pointing to the screen and she glared at Punk who looked away innocently.

"Some date night." AJ scoffed and walked over to the bar to grab some drinks.

"Hey, where are my nieces?" Cassie asked sitting at the bar as she did most nights Jeff worked late.

"We decided to pay for a sitter tonight because we wanted a date night. Turns out your brother wanted a date night with Dean." AJ mocked looking back seeing the two laughing

"Men." Cassie scoffed glaring at the two herself.

"You staying?" AJ asked.

"I'm actually on my way out. I have an overnight at the hospital." Cassie said standing up and giving her a hug.

"Ugh so I'm stuck with them?" AJ asked sadly.

"I warned you on your wedding day." Cassie teased grabbing her purse. "I'm going to come by tomorrow I picked up the cutest matching dresses for the girls."

"Stop spoiling them." AJ warned her.

"Never!" Cassie laughed and walked to the door but slapped Punk upside the head before she did.

"I'm coming right to you, AJ!" Jeff yelled from down the busy bar.

"Take your time I'm in no rush." AJ said waving it off.

"Then it's my lucky night." A man greeted taking the seat Cassie was sitting in. "What can I get you to drink?"

"Nothing. But thank you." AJ told him politely.

"Don't be shy." The man smiled. "Anything on the menu, it's yours."

"Wow. I'm a lucky lady." AJ remarked sarcastically. "My husband has my drinks covered for the evening but thank you."

"Husband?" The man said peering around. "I don't see anyone worthy of you here."

"You must not be looking hard enough." Punk remarked standing between the two.

"Got it." The man said getting up and leaving his seat.

"This is where you wanted to have date night?" She asked with a huff.

"You're right, I'm sorry I'll take you somewhere else." He offered.

"Somewhere where drunk men won't make a pass at me?" She asked folding her arms.

"Yes." He said to her.

"No, go watch your game." She sighed dramatically. "You seem all excited and so does Dean." She said looking at Dean who was waving them both over.

"I can watch the next game with him." He said brushing it off.

"No, no we'll stay." She said to him. "But you owe me." She warned him. "Tonight." She added.

"That sounds more like a treat for me." He remarked eyeing her up and down and licking his lips.

"It shouldn't you'll be doing all the work." She warned him and his eyes lit up now and he tugged her against his body.

"Stop trying to make me hard." He whispered into her ear.

"Everything makes you hard." She laughed gently pushing him away.

"Just you." He said eyeing her still.

"Go keep my seat warm, I'll get the drinks." She told him.

"You go keep the seats warm, I'll get the drinks." He said kissing her cheek and leading her away from the bar.

AJ sat down with Dean as Punk ordered at the bar and she looked at Dean.

"Fuck." Dean groaned.

"I didn't even say anything." AJ defended.

"I know that fucking look. You're about to put me in a bad position." He said shaking his head and taking a swing of his beer. "Get it out before he comes back over."

"What's going on with Jamie Meyer?" AJ asked him and he sighed.

"What do you mean by that?" Dean asked. "It's been quiet on that front for a long time."

"Do you think that going to New Jersey-" She began.

"No, AJ." Dean answered seriously.

"I didn't even get to ask." She complained.

"I know where you're going with this and no." He told her simply. "You won't be protected there. The local PD won't protect you. Why do you want to go there?"

"The girls do." AJ said to him and Dean shook his head. "You're always in New Jersey! Do you see him?"

"No, but he's not stalking me or Celeste." Dean argued. "If he catches wind of you there-"

"I thought about that. But what if Phil just takes them?" AJ asked and Dean laughed.

"Yea I'm sure he won't be all excited to sneak here and finally get you alone." Dean mocked. "Or you don't think he won't see your two little mini me daughters and start to fawn after them?" and AJ's face fell.

"You think he would follow him?" AJ asked stunned.

"It's a piece of you." He reminded her. "It's unnecessary danger and I'm sure Punk already told you this."

"He has." AJ admitted. "I just didn't like his answer."

"I'm sure you didn't." Dean frowned. "I'm sorry, I know this isn't easy for you-"

"It's not that. I don't mind it but I hate that my girls can't go visit their grandparents." AJ said to him. "I hate disappointing Prima but I can't risk Jamie even looking in her direction."

"Yea, I mean if that happens then you'll want to kill him, I'll want to kill him and Punk will definitely kill him and do we need Punk locked away?" Dean asked her seriously.

"I suppose not." AJ half teased. "It just sucks, you know?"

"Let's not rock the boat with this guy." Dean insisted. "He's stayed where he belongs and you've been here."

"Have you kept tabs on him?" AJ asked curiously.

"Of course I have." Dean assured her. "His parole officer checks in with me every month, I get progress reports."

"What is he doing? Does he like work?" AJ asked questioned.

"Yea. He's back in construction." Dean told her. "Why so many questions about him tonight?"

"I don't know." AJ admitted. "Prima mentioned Jersey and he kind of got stuck in my head. Maybe he has a new obsession."

"Not really how it works." Dean said offering her a sad smile.

"You never run into him when your there with Celeste?" She asked. "It's the same town."

"Yea but no we don't really stay in town." Dean shrugged. "If it makes you feel better I'm going there this weekend I'll personally go in and check on him."

"No, no." AJ said brushing it off. "But like if you got the vibe that he was over me-"

"That's not going to happen." Dean warned her cutting her off.

"What's not going to happen?" Punk said putting down a beer for Dean, a glass of wine for AJ and a glass of water for himself.

"I was asking Dean if Jamie Myers has moved on from me." AJ told him honestly and Punk glared at her.

"Babe, that's not how this works we've talked about this." Punk reminded her.

"I know, I know." She said grabbing her glass. "I won't ask again."

"I'll check in when I'm there. He should know I still keep a close eye on him." Dean told her.

"I don't want this guy egged on." Punk said to Dean.

"Just a formal check in." Dean assured him.

Punk eyed his wife who put on a smile but he knew not being able to visit her hometown and show her daughters around was hurting her.

"Hey, let's tell Dean about the lake." Punk said to AJ.

"Lake?" Dean asked.

"We're going to Lake Cardigan in two weeks." AJ told him happily. "We rented a little cottage and it's right on the water and we're going to take the girls fishing and boating."

"We should bring a baby-sitter." Punk told AJ who eyed him like he was crazy. "So we can have more time alone at night. Are you busy in two weeks?" He asked Dean who glared at him.

"Yea like I really want to go and babysit your kids so you can have sex every second of the night." Dean scoffed.

"I bet Celeste would like it." AJ added and Dean eyed her. "She loves the lake."

"And she loves the kids." Punk added.

"I'll ask her." AJ said picking up her phone.

"I don't know if that's how I want to send my vacation. Watching your kids so you could make more kids for me to eventually watch." Dean said annoyed.

"We're done with kids." Punk warned him seriously.

"Yea two are more than enough." AJ agreed. "But it's fine. I'll just tell Prima and Harley how Uncle Dean doesn't want to spend time with them."

"Yea, I mean I'm sure they won't be too upset." Punk agreed eyeing Dean.

"Come on, I love those kids." Dean sighed. "I don't know if Celeste can even get the time off."

"She can." AJ said typing in her phone. "It could be a fun family vacation."

"I was more interested in taking Celeste somewhere more tropical." Dean remarked.

"The lake is tropical." AJ defended and Dean glared at her.

"Lakes are dirty." Dean pointed out.

"Celeste seems to really like the idea." AJ noted looking at her phone. "I'll just tell her and the children you don't-"

"Just send me the information." Dean snapped annoyed. "I'm being talked into going so I can watch those kids and that's fine because I love those girls but I PROMISE you will pay me back for this."

Later that night after Punk paid AJ back for sharing their date night with Dean, they were catching their breath in bed.

"I'm going to take you to the bar more often." Punk teased his wrapping his arms around her and pulled her back against his chest.

"Mmmhm." She moaned happily.

"You ok?" He asked her and she remained silent. "Did something happen with Jamie and you didn't want to mention it to me?"

"I would have mentioned it." She assured him. "I don't know, Prima mentioning Jersey and then it just got stuck in my head and now I have this weird feeling."

"What kind of feeling?" He asked curiously.

"I don't know." She said with a sigh. "Like this anxious pang in my stomach."

"Dean will check in with him." Punk told her. "I hate seeing you worry over this guy."

"I'm not worried, I'm anxious." She corrected. "I really can't put my finger on it."

"You have intuition." He said to her. "Always trust your gut."

"Yea? You believe in that?" She asked rolling onto her back to look at him as he leaned over her.

"Of course I do. Women are the most intuitive creatures on this planet." He said seriously. "I've seen many examples of that in my line of work."

"I don't know." AJ sighed.

"Stop worrying." He insisted. "You're in good hands."

"The best hands." She corrected grabbing his tattooed covered hand and kissing it.

"They are pretty great hands." He teased and leaned down to kiss her and moved over her body as she opened her mouth and he dipped his tongue. Both froze when they heard a door slam. It was 2am and the girls were sound asleep.

"What was-" AJ began but Punk was already throwing on sweatpants and walking to the door.

"Stay here." He warned her and left the room unarmed.

AJ got out of bed and threw on a t-shirt that reached her knees and followed in Punk's path.

"It's Harley." He whispered closing Prima's door. "She snuck into Prima's room to sleep with her."

"She always does this and yet tonight we were jumpy." AJ whispered in the hallway looking into the room to check it herself and saw Harley tiredly wave at them and they closed the door.

"I wasn't jumpy." He whispered back and AJ rolled her eyes and he followed her back into their bedroom.

"I've never seen you get dressed so fast." AJ mocked crawling back into the bed.

"I wasn't jumpy and if I was jumpy it was because YOU made me jumpy." Punk defended getting back into bed himself.

Dean arrived outside Jamie Meyers house and saw someone else get out of a car and it was Jamie's parole officer.

"Has he not been behaving?" The PO asked Dean as they walked up the stairs to his house.

"Not that, just like to make sure it's known he's still being watched closely." Dean shrugged banging on the front door.

"The guy has been a saint." The PO told Dean who snorted a laugh.

"Why do I doubt that?" Dean asked amused and the door swung open and Jamie's face fell.

"What is this?" Jamie asked and Dean brushed past him and right inside with the PO following.

"Just checking in." Dean said looking around the living room.

"I didn't think you were still around." Jamie remarked eyeing Dean coldly.

"I'm ALWAYS around." Dean reminded him.

"No I mean I've seen you around with….what is her name again?" Jamie asked innocently.

"That's funny because I haven't seen you anywhere." Dean said coldly.

"I'm not really seen." Jamie shrugged.

"Drug test." The PO said passing Jamie a cup.

"I don't want him looking around my house." Jamie told the parole officer and nodded towards Dean.

"He's one of your case workers." The PO shrugged. "You know the rules."

"I just don't want it." Jamie insisted.

"Why would you not want me around? Hiding something?" Dean asked folding his arms.

"I just don't like you." Jamie remarked. "I've been a good parolee."

"Except when you tried to leave the state." Dean reminded him.

"That was years ago." Jamie shot at him.

"Piss in the cup." The Parole officer ordered and Jamie walked into the bathroom.

Dean walked up the stairs and passed by the bedroom and headed to the empty room he knew was where he kept his weird stuff. The room was still empty and Dean again passed his bedroom but walked inside. He walked over to the bedside table and saw a framed photo of AJ.

"Nothing to hide." Dean scoffed quietly and opened the frame to remove AJ's picture but froze when he saw other photos hidden behind it in the frame.

"You can't be in here." Jamie argued.

"How did you get pictures of AJ's kids?" Dean asked holding up the photos coldly.

"You can't just-" Jamie began and Dean pushed him into the wall.

"I'm asking you a question." Dean hissed in his face. "Where did you get these pictures and why do you have them?"

"April sent them to me." Jamie told him and Dean rolled his eyes and let him go.

"She didn't send you these pictures." Dean told him. "How did you get them?"

"I don't remember." Jamie lied and Dean narrowed his eyes at him.

"It's cool. I'll call my boss." Dean said pulling out his phone. "Also happens to be the father of these two little girls. I'm sure he won't have you taken into custody-"

"I found them." Jamie told him cutting him off.

"Where?" Dean asked annoyed.

"Someone dropped them on the block." Jamie remarked with a shrug and Dean eyed him and then looked at the pictures.

"You went into Celeste's home for these, didn't you?" Dean asked and Jamie didn't say a thing. "She had these same pictures in her living room."

"Did she?" Jamie asked innocently.

"I'm going to have this placed search." Dean told him reaching for his phone.

"That's a violation of my rights." Jamie argued.

"You're on parole you don't have rights." Dean reminded him. "So help me god if we find anything else in this house related to those two kids or AJ."

"Or what?" Jamie asked. "I'm keeping my distance just like the court order ordered."

"I just don't believe you." Dean told him seriously. "Wait downstairs with your parole officer before you give me a reason to have you arrested."

"I'm going to sue you." Jamie warned and stormed off as Dean rolled his eyes.

The next night Dean knocked on Punk and AJ's apartment door and it was late but the door opened.

"Hey." Punk greeted. "I thought you were with Celeste this weekend?" He asked stepping aside to let him in.

"Yea I was." He said looking around. "Where are the girls?"

"AJ is doing their hair. What's wrong?" Punk asked concerned now.

"I checked in on Jamie." Dean told him quietly and Punk sighed.

"He wasn't there, was he?" Punk asked.

"Oh, he was there." Dean confirmed. "I searched his place."

"And?" Punk asked.

"He has a framed picture of AJ by his bed." Dean told him.

"It's gross but not illegal or surprising." Punk said to him with a shrug but Dean just looked at him. "What else?"

"Behind the photo of AJ was photos of Prima and Harley." Dean told him very quietly.

"No." Punk said shaking his head. "How could he get that?"

"I think he broke into Celeste's place." Dean told him. "Those photos were missing from her place."

"How long ago?" Punk asked.

"Don't know. She had them on her refrigerator and now they're gone." Dean told him.

"Son of a bitch." Punk hissed. "My kids?"

"Yea." Dean said to him. "I had the whole place tossed after I found that and found nothing else. Here." He said passing Punk the three photos and he looked at them.

"What?" Dean asked.

"This picture of April." He said eyeing it. "I took this picture it's in my office at work. How the hell did he get that?"

"Don't know. He's invasive." Dean told him.

"I want to see him." Punk told Dean.

"No." Dean laughed.

"He's got pictures of my kids!" Punk yelled.

"What's going on?" AJ asked.

"Let's have some coffee and talk." Dean suggested and AJ knew it was going to be a long night.
