What would you do if you were faced with four of your only son? A mother, in denial, decided to kick her own child out of her home.
Link is not even in his tweens. Yet she left him outside, with his selves, in the near twilight.
The boys with no understanding why they are split and cool looking swords in their left hands go in search for shelter- and luckily with many options to choose from. They could go to their cousin's small and quiet cottage, Or to the Jewler's mansion-like home, since he's so welcoming. Or maybe, They could finally have a home for theirselves without a nagging mother. But as they came across the Jewler's own rebellious daughter and her fashion-loving friend, It seemed the mansion was the easier option. More friends equals more fun. And who the heck doesn't love more fun? Link sure does. So off they go.
And boy were they glad they came. As soon as they arrived, a nursemaid attended to the children and made sure they got ready for bedtime. She set their swords to the side and fed and bathed them. The Jeweler man was notified of Link's arrival and he phoned his mother, but with no answer. Eventually he gave up and headed to the guest bedroom, and quickly found out why. There was not too much worry in him, though. He sat with the four Links and they voluntarily told him everything.
One dressed in a light green nightgown started how he was playing around in the hyrule castle corridors with the princess when he came upon a large seemingly empty room, with no light inside. Then the link in the maroon nightgown interrupted exclaiming how he wanted so badly to walk in, but he felt himself getting very weak and slow. So he panicked, and tried to run, but he fell, and went to sleep. The one in lavender almost quietly added that when he woke up, he was suddenly in a very mossy and green room, and it felt like he was outside of the castle. The Link in sky blue said nothing but seeing a mysterious and cool sword.
The link in green added to that sentence saying when he saw the sword, he was tempted to pull it, but when he did, he felt dreadful- but after he pulled it out, he was four, and he felt better. They were there confused for a long time. Then the blue wearing link, in a stressed out tone, mumbled how his mom abandoned him when he decided he wanted to go home. He had angry tears that he was trying to keep hidden. The jeweler huggged them- and out of the blue the lavender night gown wearing link pointed at nothing on the nightstand. Well, to the jeweler it was nothing. To the Links, it was a small, mouse-like creature that was nowhere near the size of a mouse.
He asked, quite loudly, if it were a pet. But the jeweler man didn't understand what he was referring to. The mouse looking thing was frozen in fear as the lavender wearing Link went and quickly picked it up by its arm. His other selves went up behind him to see it. Then entering the room was the jeweler's daughter. She saw the creature and was appalled due to a fear of rodents. Following behind her, the nursemaid was confused and readied a roll of notepaper from her pocket. But she was confused when she saw the boys looking at nothing. What are they doing? What is it that they see?
Then, the Link holding the creature yelled in pain as it bit his hand and it scurried into hiding after falling to the floor, being chased by the other boys. The adults in the room tried their best to calm the children down and make them go to sleep. But neither Link could sleep soundly that night.
