Chapter 1

Yancy academy

Really, i didnt want to be a Demigod but even worse I am Insane.. or at least that's what they tell us

I always needed a second person around me and I somehow always give them the creeps like all I do is having a big smile on my face and sometimes I laugh the longer the better I feel afterwards.. and well these voices but lets get not into detail to that other than that there is also the fact hat I had one eye that was completely black with a red iris and a white pupil while the other was a normal sea green

So what did I want to tell you again heh right the second persons if there is none available at the time I get a wrist thats simply tells what im doing and other medical stuff yeah

Now we had a school trip to a greek-roman museum 28 kids and 2 teachers in one yellow school bus as far away from me as possible except for good ol Grover my only friend on this god damned school we were driving and halfway I got the need again to laugh as loud as possible so I started laughing everybody was taken got even more far away from me, why thou It was normal already yet they do it, except Grover he meanwhile tried to calm me down with mild success I wasn't laughing anymore only giggling and with a big smile.

Finally we were there this museum looked like a gray building made to stick out (I am using the illustrated version by John Rocco)oh yeah this trip was with Mrs. Dodds and Mr. Brunner worst and best o yeah we must have gotten forward I need to pay attention even though these voices were there again and made it some hard job ya know laughing is like a release valve let it out and they shut up.

Anyways Mr. Brunner was still talking about Greek stuff and Nancy made a bad joke about

and snapped at her "Would you please shut up!?" ,outside voices made it even worse to concentrate, I must have said it louder than normal because the entire Group started laughing and I started laughing and clutching my stomach because the voices got so loud again,

Brunner asked after I came down "Mr. Jackson would you like to leave comment?" and I said embarrassed "No Sir." "Maybe you could say what this what this picture means?" "Thats Kronos the King of err.." Titans the voices said so I gave it a go"..Titans while he eats his children." I answered. "Yes" but he wanted more "And he did that because..."

"Well he didn't trust his kids the Gods so he heh" the voices started again and it was funny somehow"heh ate them but Reha had pity on Zeus and hid him and instead gave him a rock. But later errm when Zeus grew up mad his father spit out the other five gods with a" mix of mustard and wine then hundred years peace The voices said"mix of mustard and wine then there was a hundred years peace and then the Titan war but the Gods won" Because of pride the voices said "because of pride" I said.

Brunner just stared at me" Full credit most People don't know of the hundred years peace and the mixture I am kind of impressed on this happy note its time for lunch Mrs. Dodds if you would please."

Grover and I wanted to go but Brunner called "Mr. Jackson?" and I said to Grover " don't wait for me Grover" before turning and saying "Sir?"

I dont know but he had this Look that made a hold of you just like my eyes these deep brown eyes that looked as if they were a thousand years old and have seen everything"

"You need to find the answer to my question." he said "The one of the real life?" I kinda asked "Yes that one and what the lessons have to do with that"he said "oh" I muttered "The things you learn from me" he said,"is of much importance. And im only going to accept the best of you, Percy Jackson"

I got angry, this guy set some serious pressure on me, what happened next is always intimidating I closed my eyes and when I reopened them the iris and pupils were gone only Black and white he was taken aback.

I mean yeah it could be funny when he on some days got out his roman armor ,"Weapons ho " screamed, said that we should get the chalk and write down all Romans and Greeks ,who their mother was and which gods they prayed to.

But he wanted that I am just as good as the rest, no matter that I was dyslexic and an ADHD kid, who also was insane.

No scratch that he didn't want me to be as good as the others he wanted me to be better man I wanted to kill him sometimes why not? Asked one of the voices dumb ass its his teacher ok said another You better shut up now I imaginary said No they all said and got from 0 to 100 in under a second.

All I did was grab my head and laugh like a maniac to turn it off my eyes returned to normal and Brunner looked at me bewildered before waiting for me to come down it took some time but finally I got myself together again still with a grin on my face and followed him outside and got myself seated next to Grover.

The Sky was dark and I knew there was a Storm coming it was like a climatic catastrophe wait it IS a catastrophe yeah it was like this since winter the others didn't seem to notice it the boys threw cracker at the birds Nancy tried to to steal and Dodds of course saw nothing of that.

Grover and I sat at the fountain edge as far away as possible not hat it would have been a problem if we got to the others they would have moved to my spot but we also hoped that nobody would draw a connection from us to the others

"Detention?" Grover asked "No" I said " Brunner dosen`t do that but I wished he wouldn't be putting this much pressure on me. He knows I'm very rarely a Genius" Meanwhile the voices started again and I put on the grin that screamed `PSYCO´ "Can I have your apple?" Grover suddenly asked and I wasn't hungry so I gave it to him.

I looked at the many taxis on the Fifth Avenue and thought about the apartment of my Mom ,which wasn't very far away. I haven't seen her since Christmas if I could I would have picked a Cab and go for it she would be happy to see me and would have hugged me, but she would also be disappointed with me. She would have send me back to Yancy, reminded me to try harder and said that it would be my sixth school in six years always throwing me out because of strange stuff. I couldn't stand her sad look.

I just wanted to get my meal but Nancy HAD to interfere by dropping her lunch into Grover. "Opps" she smiled my smile just left my face amplifying the voices to get louder faster a.k.a. Things just got serious I tried to keep cool, needless to say it Failed miserably I stared her in the eye with my special ability she looked taken aback suddenly I felt a tug in the gut and Nancy just looked at me in pure horror before running away. I somehow knew what I did I unlocked her deepest fears and most Traumatizing memorys. My grin slowly got to my face again. Soon Mrs Dodds came and said "Now Honey" I knew I was in trouble.

I followed her in the Building and immediately started giggling and laughing silently to get the voices back down again.

I found myself back at the Stele nobody else was there and I got nervous, you know its strange to be alone with your Teacher especially Dodds she stared at me "You're causing really bad problems, Honey" I played safe and said "Yes ma'am" "Did you really think you would get through with this?" Her stare now showed more than evil. It was Insane, just like mine but not near strong enough to top it.

I stopped grinning and the voices became near unbearable that I subconsciously held my hair and head

Its just a Teacher of course she wouldn't try something I thought And thats where youre wrong the voices retorted "I-I am going to try harder ma'am" I said

"We aren't dumb Percy Jackson It just was a question of time say everything and suffer less." she said.

" Mrs. Dodds what are you talking about?"

"your Time is up" she said and made a horrible transformation I somehow instantly knew it was Alecto a Fury everything got even weirder all I just wanted is for her to go away and I felt a familiar tug in the gut but way stronger ,my eyes were just black and white again, but I pulled anyways a crack in the floor opened and she got sucked in by red clouds and it subsided.

Then I saw Brunner at the side of the door he saw everything and then I started to laugh like a insane person for about two minutes and MAN it felt reliving having the voices to leave my head Brunner just sat there not moving frozen in shock at the end he left me alone to my laugh and slowly I got out of the museum grinning. On the way back I asked Grover about Mrs. Dodds but he just said there never was one and I might just gotten more insane but I knew it was real because every time I asked him he hesitated.
