Nobara walks into the kitchen at midnight.

She's not expecting anyone there, except maybe Gojou-sensei, with his sunglasses reflecting the bluish light of the fridge in much the same way animals' eyes glow in the dark, as he crams spoons and spoons' worth of ice cream into his infinite, gaping maw like some sort of feral cat high on road fumes and catnip. She hears someone humming as she approaches, however, scratchy and just a little bit off-key.

She stops in the doorway, but it's not Gojou-sensei she sees by the dim light of the fridge.

Instead, it's Itadori and Fushiguro, slow dancing together in the dark.

"Ugh." She rolls her eyes, scrunches her nose, and sticks her tongue out in disgust as she flicks on the light. "Gross. People in love."

The boys spring apart— well, it's more like Fushiguro pushes Itadori away and onto the ground— and while Itadori laughs, Fushiguro clears his throat and shuffles away from the fridge. (Nobara grunts, pushing Itadori away with the refrigerator door so that she can have a better look at the available selection of puddings.)

"It was Yuuji's idea," Fushiguro claims, looking off to the side with his arms crossed.

"Haaaah?" Itadori scrambles to his feet and (from the sound of it) pounces on the other boy. "That's not true! Megumi, you were the one—"

The contents of the fridge rattle as Nobara slams the door and walks away with her pudding.
