Chapter 6: Escape plans

"Okay, Ahadi...I will stay" Uru said. Ahadi smirked and looked at Uru. "Good choice, Uru" Ahadi said. Ahadi let Taka, Mufasa, and I go and we ran back to Uru. Uru put protective arms around us as she glared at Ahadi. Ahadi gave Uru a dark look and said, "Listen Uru, remember our deal. If you try to escape with the kids then I will kill you, do you understand?" Ahadi said. Uru nodded.

"Yes, Ahadi I understand" Uru said. "Good, remember our deal" Ahadi said. With that, Ahadi left and I was shaking in fear as Ahadi left. "Mom, what do we do, we can't stay here" Taka said. "I know, sweetie, just hang on we will figure out a way to get out of here I promise" Uru said.

"I never thought dad would be so cruel" Mufasa said. "Oh, now you realize how cruel dad is!" Taka shouted. "He abuses Lana and I and now you realize this just now?!" Taka shouted with anger in his voice. "Calm down kids, I know this is stressfull for all of us" Uru said. "Mom, why didn't you do something earlier?" Taka said. "I didn't realize until Lana told me" Uru said. "Wait, Lana told you about this?" Mufasa said.

"Yes, she did. And I helped her confront Ahadi about this today" Uru said. "Well if Ahadi continues to abuse us, then we have to leave now, we can't stay here" Mufasa said. "I know, I will think of something for all of us to escape" Uru said. "I will think of something too" I said. "Why don't you kids go play for a while, I will go hunting for some food and think of a way to escape" Uru said. "Okay mom" I said. "Come on guys, let's go somewhere to play" I said.

I led Taka and Mufasa somewhere to play. "What should we play?" Mufasa said. "I don't know..." Taka mumbled. "What's wrong Taka?" Mufasa said with concern. "I'm just worried, Dad is keeping us here and he won't let us leave. We won't be able to get out of here" Taka said.

"It will be okay, Mom is thinking of something for us to escape and get out of here" Mufasa said. "Yeah, I am also thinking of a way to escape too. Don't worry, we will get out of here I promise" I said to Taka. "But what if dad catches us and he kills mom?" Taka said with worry. "Hold on Taka, let's not play the what-if game right now. Let's just play for now and concentrate on thinking of a way to escape" I said.

"Yeah, I agree with Lana, let's take our minds off of this and find a way to escape" Mufasa said. Taka sighed and said, "Okay fine let's just find something to play" Taka said. "So, what do you wanna play Taka?" Mufasa said. "I don't know, maybe we can play a game of hide and seek" Taka said. "Okay, I come to find you and Lana first while you and Lana go hide somewhere" Mufasa said. "Okay, come on Lana let's go hide" Taka said.

"Okay" I said. I then fallowed Taka as Mufasa started counting down. I decided to climb high in a tree and hid in the branches and Taka hid in the bushes. After a while of hiding in a tree, I could hear Mufasa walking towards me and Taka. "Shh!" Taka said. I nodded and kept quiet while Mufasa was looking for us. "Lana, Taka, where are you? I know you guys are around here somewhere" Mufasa said. "Found you!" Mufasa said to Taka.

"How come I always get caught first?" Taka whined. "Because you are too easy to find. You can help me find Lana now" Mufasa said. "Okay" Taka said. I tried to stay as quiet as I can while my brothers were looking for me. After a while of my brothers looking for me, I heard Mufasa calling my name.

"I found you, Lana!" Mufasa said. "Damn it" I cussed. I then jumped out from the tree and went up to my brothers. "How did you manage to climb up the tree?" Mufasa said with surprise. "I'm a good climber" I said. "What else should we play?" Taka said. "Hmm, I don't know. It's up to you I guess" Mufasa said. "I think I wanna play tag" Take said. "Okay" I said. Me and my brothers then begain running around and playing tag.

After a while, I heard our mom, Uru calling for us. "Hey kids, come here I have something to tell you guys and I found some food for us!" Uru called. "Okay mom, we're coming!" I called back. "Come on guys, let's go to mom we don't wanna keep her waiting" I said. I and my brothers then made our way over towards Uru. "Hi, mom" I said. "Hey kids, come and eat, while I talk to you about our plan to escape" Uru said.

"Okay, I need to go get some sticks first" I said. "Okay" Uru said. I went to go get some sticks and a few minutes later, I came back with some sticks. I then made a pile with my sticks and I made a fire. I then got some meat and I poked it with the stick and began cooking the meat over the fire. After I finished cooking the meat, I began eating the meat. "So, what's the plan to escape mom?" Taka said.

"We will leave tonight when the sun sets and we will go as far away from the pride lands" Uru said. "And I can go into the town and ask some people for help and tell them what is going on" I said. "What if no one believes you though?" Mufasa said. "I don't know what I will do then" I said. "But I will try my best to convince people to help us" I said. I then continued to eat my food. "Can I try some of that Lana?" Taka said.

"Sure" I said. I then gave a piece for Taka to try. "Can I try some too?" Mufasa said. "Yeah" I said. I gave a piece for Mufasa to try also. "Wow Lana, this is really good!" Taka cried as he was eating the food. "This is really good Lana, how did you make this so good?" Mufasa said.

"I just cooked this over the fire" I said. After we finished eating, Uru gave us all our baths. After Taka and Mufasa got their baths, I laid down in Uru's arms and took my clothes off. Uru then began to lick me clean. After my bath I got my clothes back on I laid down next to Uru and we waited for sunset.

After sunset, Uru, Taka, and I decided to leave the pride lands. The cubs sat on Uru's back and Uru picked me up by the scruff of my neck and carried us out of the pride lands. A while of walking away from the pride lands, we found a cave and we decided to lay down in the cave. I laid down next to Uru and fell into a deep sleep.

It is the next day since we have left the pride lands. I was being woken up by my mom, Uru. "Good morning sweetie, I have some food with me so you can eat your breakfast" Uru said. "Okay mom, I am going to go into town today after I eat to see if I can ask for help today" I said. "Okay, just don't go too far and be sure to be back before the sunset" Uru said. "Okay" I said.

I then went to go and get my breakfast. After I went to get my breakfast, I grabbed my purse and walked inside the town, and went to see if someone could help me and my family. Walking to the town takes like an hour or so, so it's not too far of a walk. I can't really see from pride rock but when I walked closer I can see the town. Before I went to go ask people, I decided to do a quick ride on the zip line. After I did the zip line, I decided to walk around and ask people for help. I was talking to a lot of people but no one seemed to believe me. I sighed and gave up.

I decided to take a break and go to the movie theaters for a bit. I decided to go see avengers infinity war in the movie theaters. I have already seen it with my sister a while ago on the premiere date. I got my food and sat down in the theater. I enjoyed watching the movie and eating my food.

my favorite part was the hour-long fight scene at the end and the scene where Rocket, Thor, and Groot made their entrance into Wakanda with the avengers music playing in the background. After the movie was over, I decided it was time to go home and walked back home. I was happily humming the avenger's theme song as I was walking home. When I got to the cave my mom Uru was waiting for me. "Any luck, Lana?" Uru said.

"No mom, no one will believe me" I said. "Oh, I am sorry sweetie, maybe you will find someone tomorrow who will believe you" Uru said. "We should keep going" I said. "You are not going anywhere" A voice said. I and Uru gasped and turned around to see my dad Ahadi walking up to us who had a dark look in his eyes. "Ahadi? What are you doing here?" Uru said with shock in her voice.

"I should be asking you the same thing, what are you doing here?!" Ahadi yelled. "I came here because I couldn't handle how you treat our kids anymore!" Uru shouted. "I told you not to leave, Uru. you are lucky I am showing you mercy this time" Ahadi said. Ahadi then hit Uru hard in the face. "Mom!" I cried. "Shut up Lana! come on, we are going back to the pride lands, right now!" Ahadi shouted. "Mufasa, Taka come out here!" Ahadi shouted. Mufasa and Taka then walked out of the cave. "Dad?!" Taka said, with shock in his voice. "Come, we are going home now" Ahadi said.

We then began walking back to the Pride Lands Ahadi.
