Chapter 8: A new beginning
It has been a few weeks since I had my birthday. My dad, Ahadi, and I are working together to improve our relationship and it is going pretty well. He is also working on his relationship with my brother, Taka who now changed his name to Scar. I don't know why Taka decided to change his name to Scar. Scar has brought a few newcomers into the pride lands, Stalker and Misery. There is also this girl named Axane who has arrived in the pride lands too.
Axane has snow-white hair with golden eyes and black clothing with golden lining in between her clothes. Axane also has a warframe called Valkry. Mufasa and Sarabi decided to get married and they adopted Axane as their daughter and Axane is my niece now. Sarabi is also pregnant with a cub. "Hey, Lana" A voice said. I looked up to see Axane walking up to me. "Oh hey Axane" I said.
Axane then trancefuranced into her warframe, Valkry. "Woah, how did you do that?" I asked her. "Every human has a warframe" Valkry said. "Huh?" I said confused. "So your saying, I have a warframe too?" I said. "Yes, just focus and concentrate as hard as you can and trancfurance" Valkry said.
"Okay" I said. I took a deep breath and concentrated as hard as I could to trancefurance into my warframe. I then did a successful transference into my warframe. I looked at my warframe that I was in right now. "Wow" I said and smiled. "Nice job, Octavia" Valkry said.
"Sorry?" I said confused. "Your warframe is Octavia. You have the power to heal your allies with song power" Valkry said. "Awesome" I said. I smiled. I and Valkry tranceferanced out of our warframes. We then went to the cave and saw my family sitting in the cave. "Mom, dad, Mufasa, Sarabi look I have a warframe now" I said with a smile. "Cool, let's see" Sarabi said. I then tranceferanced into Octavia again.
"Nice" Mufasa said. "My warframe is Octavia and I have the power to heal my allies with song power" I said. "That's cool" Sarabi said. I smiled. I am happy with my new warframe.
The day has arrived in the pride lands. Animals have gathered around Pride Rock to see the newborn prince. A few years have passed since I have arrived in the pride lands. Ahadi has changed. He doesn't abuse me and Scar anymore. The reason why Ahadi has changed it is because I have attempted to kill myself after he was abusing me. I couldn't take it anymore so I had to try to kill myself by jumping off a cliff.
but I couldn't because Ahadi has saved me. The reason why he saved me was that he felt bad about treating us badly and Uru had talked some sense into Ahadi and after I almost killed myself, Ahadi realized what he had done wrong and said he was sorry to me and made it up to me for abusing me. I have been living in peace for a couple of years after Ahadi had redeemed himself.
I am sitting in the cave, waiting for the ceremony to begin with Sarabi, my sister-in-law. My brother, Mufasa is the king of the pride lands and he is married to Sarabi, Queen of the pride lands. I and Scar are still the princesses and the prince of the pride lands since we are Mufasa's siblings. I have to admit, I am a bit jealous of Mufasa because he was king instead of me and Scar. But I didn't let my jealousy overcome me.
Instead, I accepted that life was not fair and we didn't always get what we wanted and I moved on. I still love my older brother. Mufasa is the oldest sibling and I am the middle sibling and Scar is the youngest. I am admiring my new baby nephew, Simba who was resting in Sarabi's arms. Mufasa was standing outside the cave, waiting for Rafiki.
"He's so cute Sarabi" I said. "He sure is, I think you will make a great Aunt, Lana" Sarabi said. I petted Simba's soft fur. I felt Simba purring. "Can I hold him for a minute?" I asked Sarabi. "Sure" Sarabi said. I gently picked up Simba and held him in my arms. Simba purred and he looked up at me with his red eyes. I smiled at my nephew.
I then handed Simba back to Sarabi. A few moments later, Mufasa walked into the cave with Rafiki. Mufasa rubbed his head against Sarabi's. They then looked down at their cub. Rafiki opened up some fruit and painted an orange line on his head. He then sprinkled some dust onto Simba to welcome him into the circle of life. Simba sneezed a little as the dust got into his nose. I then looked around the cave and noticed that my brother, Scar was not there.
"What's wrong Lana?" Mufasa asked me. "Scar didn't show up to the ceremony this morning, I don't see him anywhere" I said. "I know, I'll have a talk with him after the ceremony" Mufasa said. "Okay" I said. Rafiki then picked up Simba and carried him outside the cave and onto the tip of pride rock. He then lifted Simba up high in the sky so the whole pride can see the newborn cub.
It has been sometime later after the ceremony, and Mufasa and I decided to have a chat with our brother, Scar. When we got to the cave, we can see Scar Harassing Zazu. "Scar!" Mufasa shouted. Scar looked up at us with Zazu in his mouth. "Eww" I said. "Drop him" Mufasa said. "Impeccable timing, your magisty" Zazu said. Scar did as Mufasa said and dropped Zazu.
"Why if it isn't my big brother and big sister descending from on high to mingle with the commoners" Scar said. "Sarabi, Lana, and I didn't see you at the presentation today" Mufasa said. "Yeah, what do you have to say for yourself?! Shame on you!" I said. "That was today! Ohhh I feel simply awful" Scar said. He then dragged his claws along the walls and it made a horrible screeching sound.
Zazu and I cringed and we covered our ears. "Calm down Lana, No need to get so mad. Must've slipped my mind" Scar said with a smirk. "Yeah well as slippery as your mind is, as the king's brother, you should have been first in line!" Zazu said. I nodded. Scar bend down and tried to bite Zazu, but Zazu hid behind Mufasa's let. "Well I was first in line. until that little hairball was born! And Lana was taken in by mom and dad" Scar said.
"It wasn't my fault that I got into the plane crash" I said. "Hm" Scar said. "That little hairball is my son, and your future king" Mufasa said. "I shall practice my curtsy" Scar said. Scar then turned to leave the cave. "Ugh" I said in annoyance. Scar can be a real pain in the ass sometimes. "You're a pain in the ass Scar" I said. "Am I?" Scar said.
"Don't turn your back on me Scar" Mufasa said. "Oh no, Mufasa. Perhaps you shouldn't turn your back on me" Scar said. Mufasa roared with anger and ran up to Scar. "Is that a challenge?!" Mufasa shouted. "Temper temper. I wouldn't dream of challenging you" Scar said. "Pitty, why not?" Zazu said. "Well as far as brains go, I got the lion's share, but when it comes to brute strength, I'm afraid I'm at the shallow end of the dream pool" Scar said. With that, Scar walked away.
"Scar is so annoying" I said. "I know, we just have to deal with it" Mufasa said. I sighed. "What are we gonna do?" I said. Zazu sighed. "There is one in every family, sire. Two in mine actually. and they always manage to ruin special occasions" Zazu said as he sat on Mufasa's shoulder. "What am I gonna do with him?" Mufasa said. "He'd make a very handsome throw rug" Zazu said. I smirked and giggled a bit.
"Zazu" Mufasa said as he turned to look at him. And just think, whenever he gets dirty, you can take him out and beat him" Zazu said. Mufasa and I chuckled as we walked out of the cave, with Zazu. I sighed when we got to pride rock. "I am gonna go to my room for a little while" I said. "Okay, have fun" Mufasa said. I smiled and went to my room.
I decided to log onto my switch and play Mario kart 8 for a while. "Damn it" I cussed as I was being beaten in the game. After a while of playing, I decided to go outside for a little while. After I played my game I decided to go into the cave. "Hey, Lana" Sarabi said when I walked in. "Hey Sarabi, can I sleep here tonight" I said. "Sure" Sarabi said. "First you need your bath Lana" Uru said as she was walking up to me. "I'm tired though mom" I said.
"But you need your bath first" Uru said. I sighed. "Okay, mom" I said. I took my clothes off and I laid down in Uru's arms. Uru then started licking me clean. 30 minutes Later after Uru finished my bath I got my clothes on again. I walked with Uru and Ahadi and I laid down next to them. "Good night mom, goodnight dad" I said. "Goodnight Sweetie" Uru said. I put my headphones in and played some RWBY music. It helps me sleep better at night when I have music.
I snuggled with my parents and let my music drift me off into s deep sleep.
