Chapter 13: A new king

Scar led me back to the pridelands. I was sad and miserable right now. When we got back to the pridelands, I walked to the pride. "Lana, what's wrong?" Sarabi asked me with concern. "Where are Mufasa and Simba?" Sarabi said. "Sarabi...Mufasa and Simba..." I was about to continue when Scar spoke up, "Gather around everyone" Scar said. We did as Scar said and we gathered around. Scar sat upon a rock.

"Mufasa's death is a terrible tragedy, but to lose Simba who had barely begun to live" Scar said. I had some tears streaming down my face as I was morning the loss of my brother and my nephew. my parents, Uru and Ahadi comforted me, and my niece Axane was also comforting me. "It's gonna be okay sweetie" Uru whispered into my ear. "For me, it is a deep and personal loss" Scar said.

I could see Nala who was also crying in Aunt Sarafina's arms as she was morning the loss of her best friend. "So it is with a heavy heart that I assume the throne. yet out of the ashes of this tragedy we shall arise, to greet the dawning of a new era, in which lion and Hyena come together in great and glourious future" Scar said as he went to the top of pride rock. Hyena's gathered around. I gasped with fright. Stalker and Misery, Scar's gardians stood next to him.

"No..." I whispered. Ahadi put protective arms around me and glared at Scar. "Scar you can't do this, why are you doing this?!" Ahadi said. "You should have made me king a long time ago dad" Scar said with a smirk. "And Lana and Axane...you won't be needing your warframes anymore" Scar said. "What?!" Axane and I cried as we stood up.

"Scar, what do you mean?" Axane said with fear in her voice. Before Axane could speak more, metal disks were thrown at me and Axane. Axane and I were screaming in pain as our warframes were being forced out of us. "Scar, stop this!" Aunt Sarafina cried. Axane and I continued to scream in pain. "Scar please stop, you're hurting them!" Uru cried.

sharp pain was flowing through my body. After the transfurance was done, Axane and I dropped to our knees and we catched our breath. "Oh my god Lana, are you okay?!" Aunt Sarafina cried. "I think so..." I said. "Are you okay Axane?" Ahadi said. "I think so grandpa" Axane said. my body was shaking with fear and in pain. I could feel pain still. I tried to trancefurance into my warframe but nothing happened.

Octavia was gone. "Now then, you all may go back to what you were doing" Scar said. "Come on sweetie, let's get you cleaned up" Uru said. Uru then picked me up by the scruff of my neck and carried me to my room. When we got to my room, I took my clothes off and laid down in Uru's arms. Uru then started licking me clean. I decided to play on my switch while Uru was giving me my bath. After Uru finished with my bath, I got my clothes on.

"Mom, I'm scared. Mufasa is dead. Simba is gone. and Scar and the hyenas is taking over the pridelands" I said. "I know your scared, Lana. I am scared too. Your dad and I will be there for you and so will the rest of the pride. we will make sure nothing happens to you or Axane" Uru said. "thanks mom" I said. I hugged Uru and she hugged me back. "You should get some rest now, you've had a long day today" Uru said. She then tucked me in bed and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

"Goodnight mom" Uru said. "Goodnight Lana, I love you" Uru said. Uru left my room, closing the door behind her. I decided to watch some RWBY and avengers for a while. After I watched my shows, I fell asleep.

it has been a few months since Scar's rein. I have been depressed and miserable. The hyenas harass us any chance they get. Every time we would try to tell Scar, Scar would just brush it off and ignore us. Scar does not care about us at all. He lets the hyenas harass us. There is also no food and no water. we are starving and thirsty. I would try to sneak to the town near us to try to get some food and water for the pride, but every time I would try, I would get caught.

I was in my room, playing on my switch when Aunt Sarafina came into my room. "Hey, Lana" Aunt Sarafina said. "Hi Aunt Sarafina, do you need anything?" I asked her. "Well, Scar said he wants to speak with you" Aunt Sarafina said. "Why?" I asked. "I don't know. I will walk you over there though" Aunt Sarafina said. "Okay, thank you" I said. Aunt Sarafina then led me to the cave to where Scar was. Stalker and Misery then led me inside the cave.

"Leave us" Scar said. Stalker and Misery then left the cave. Scar looked at me with a smirk. "Why have you wanted to speak with me, Scar?" I asked. "Well Lana, I have been ruling the pride lands for a while and I feel like I am missing something. something every king must have" Scar said. "And what is that?" I said. "A queen. I am missing a queen" Scar said with a smirk. "What do you mean? So what if you're missing a queen? You are doing just fine ruling on your own" I said.

"Don't you take that tone with me! Let me finish what I have to say" Scar shouted. I sighed. "Good. Now I need a queen. and you know who that queen of mine will be?" Scar said. "Who?" I asked. "You. I need you to be my queen" Scar said. My eyes widened with shock. "Me?! Why me?!" I cried. Scar just smirked at me.

"Because, it is punishment for dad making Mufasa king instead of me. Now say the words, say that you will marry me and be my queen" Scar said. "What happens if I don't?" I said. Scar gave me a dark look in his eyes. He then placed his paw under my chin and forced me to look into his eyes. "If you don't marry me and be my queen, I will kill every single member of this pride, including our parents. and you will watch as I kill the pride.

and I will also kill you" Scar said. My eyes widened in fear. my body was shaking. So I am supposed to marry my psycho brother? No. I will never marry him. I stood up and slapped Scar across the face. "No! I will never Marry you ever!" I yelled. "Now you have done it" Scar said with a dark tone. Scar hit me hard it the chest, and I flew into the wall, Slamming my back against the wall. Scar then pinned me to the ground in a strong grip.

"I will not take no for an answer, Lana! Now say you will marry me and be my queen!" Scar yelled. "I...I..." I stammered. "Yes?" Scar said with a smirk. "I...I will marry you...and be your queen" I said. Scar's smirk grew. "Wonderful. now that wasn't so hard now, was it?" Scar said. Scar then gave me a kiss. Tears were streaming down my face. "Now get some rest, I will make the announcement to the pride tonight. don't you think about escaping" Scar said.

I ran out of the cave, with tears streaming down my face. Why was Scar doing this to me? I ran to my room and slammed the door behind me. I punched the wall with anger. why did I say yes? Why? After a while, my family came into my room. "Lana?" Sarabi said, softly. "Are you okay?" Sarabi said. "Yeah, I'm fine" I lied.

"Please, Lana don't lie to us. tell us what's wrong and we can help" Ahadi said. "Yeah, we saw you running off, crying" Sarabi said. "Okay, fine. Scar is forcing me to marry him and be his queen" I said. "What?!" They all cried. "Yeah, it's punishment for dad making Mufasa king, Scar says" I said. Ahadi growled with anger.

"I am gonna go have a chat with that bastard" Ahadi said. Uru placed a paw on Ahadi's shoulder. "Please don't Ahadi. We can deal with this later" Uru said. "Fine...I'm just trying to protect our daughter, Uru" Ahadi said. "I know, Ahadi. And your doing a good job. we just don't want to make things worse for Lana right now" Uru said. "Okay" Ahadi said. "If I didn't Marry him, then he would kill all of you and me. I couldn't let that happen" I said.

"We know, Lana. But I am sure you will make a great queen" Aunt Sarafina said as she placed her paw on my shoulder. Just then, Stalker came into my room. "Scar said he wants all of you to gather around, he has an announcement to make" Stalker said. Stalker then left my room. "Let's just get this over with" I said.

my family and I then got to pride rock and gathered around. Scar then motioned me to come up to him. I did as he said and walked to him. "What's this Scar? What are you doing to Lana?" Sarabi said. "Don't worry Sarabi, I am just announcing something regarding to her" Scar said. Scar then pulled me closer to him.

"I have gathered you all around today to tell you all that Lana here has agreed to marry me and be her queen" Scar said. Everyone glared at Scar. "Leave her alone, Scar. you can't just force her to marry you" Aunt Sarafina said with anger in her voice. The hyenas then went over to Aunt Sarafina and pinned her down. "Remember, I am the king here. don't you forget that. and anyone who harms Lana will answer to me. Now come Lana, I need to speak with you" Scar said.

Scar then led me into the cave and we got inside. "Sit" Scar said. I did as Scar said and sat down. "Now let me explain a few rules since you are my wife now. Rule one, you must have one or two hyenas by your side if you want to go out. if there are not any, then you are not allowed to go out. Rule two, you are to obey me and do as I say, when I say it. Rule three, you must sleep with me every night in the cave or in your bed.

rule four, you are to love me only and no one else. if these rules are broken, then you will be punished by me. understand?" Scar said. I nodded. "Yes, Scar" I said. "Good" Scar said. Scar then kissed me. it felt disgusting. "Now come my love, let's go to sleep. I have morning patrol to do tomorrow morning" Scar said. "fine..." I said. I wasn't really comfortable with sleeping with Scar, my new husband.

Scar laid down. I was hesitant to lay down next to him. "Lay down now" Scar said with a smirk. I sighed and laid down next to Scar. Scar wrapped his arms around me. "Good girl. goodnight Lana" Scar said as he kissed me again. 'Eww' I thought when Scar kissed me. Scar fell asleep. I prayed for this nightmare to be over. I prayed that when I woke up tomorrow, that I would be back to my normal life and Mufasa would still be alive and Simba would still be here.

I closed my eyes and fell into a deep sleep.
