Chapter 25: Traning continues
When we got to the cave, Scar roughly set me down. My body was shaking in fear as I was looking at Scar. "Scar, I'm sorry I...I didn't mean to escape" I said, stuttering. Scar roared angrily and hit me, and pinned me to the ground. "How dare you?! I ought to give you a harsh punishment for this one, Lana. first, you kicked me in the chest, and then you ran off! This is something that can't go unpunished" Scar yelled.
"Scar, I'm sorry. I won't do it again!" I cried, with tears streaming down my face. Scar hit me hard in the face again. "No Lana, you need to be punished so that this does notm happen again" Scar said as he gave me a punch. Scar gave me another hard punch in the face. "When Simba finds out what you did to me, I swear he will come and..." I was cut off when Scar punched me again. "Do what, kill me?" Scar smirked as he gave me another punch.
Scar then dug out his claws and pointed them at me. "Well, I would like to see him try" Scar said as he scratched my face. I cried out in pain, tears still streaming down my face. "Oh toughen up Lana" Scar said as he gave me another scratch. After a while of Scar beating me and scratching me, Scar finally stopped. Scar then looked at me with a dark look in his eyes.
"Now listen, Lana. If you dare try to escape again, then I will kill you. And I mean it this time, so I'd think twice before trying to escape" Scar said with a low growl. I said nothing and nodded, with my body shaking in fear. "Good. Now take your clothes off, it's time for your bath" Scar said.
I nodded and took my clothes off and laid down in Scar's arms. I tried to think of some happy things while Scar was grooming me. I wondered if Scar missed mom and dad. Uru and Ahadi died in the battle for pride rock a couple of years ago. I still miss my parents very much. When Scar finished my bath, I stood up and got my clothes on. "Scar?" I said. Scar sighed and looked at me. "What, Lana?" Scar said.
"Do you ever miss mom and dad?" I said. "What do you mean? Mom and dad are still alive" Scar said. I shook my head and said, "Mom and dad died in the battle of pride rock a couple of years ago" I said. "What?! And you didn't tell me this before?!" Scar yelled. "Well, I didn't tell you because I didn't think you cared" I said. Scar then grabbed me by the throat, choking me. "Don't be stupid Lana, I do care! I mean, I know dad was an asshole, and I hated you and Mufasa, and I still hate you.
But I cared about mom!" Scar shouted. I tried to get Scar's paw off my throat but he still kept choking me. I thought I saw some tears forming in Scar's eyes. This was the first time I have seen Scar cry. "Scar...I can't breath" I choaked out. Scar let go of me and a few tears were streaming down his face. "I...I'm gonna go check on my wife and my kids. Just don't escape again" Scar said softly. I nodded. Scar was still crying as he walked out of the cave.
Scar closed the boulder and I was trapped again with no way out.
It is the next night and Vitani and I were sent out, yet again to spy on Simba and Kovu. Vitani and I crept down and spotted Simba and Kovu near pride rock. Vitani was getting excited as she was watching Simba and Kovu walk inside the cave. "Get him" Vitani said with a smirk. "Come on Kovu, get him!" Vitani shouted.
Vitani growled with frustration as Kovu was failing to attack Simba. "Come on, let's go report this to mother" Vitani said. "Can't I just go home, Vitani?" I said. "No! Just come on!" Vitani said. "Fine" I said. When we got to Zira, we told her everything that had happened. "Are you sure?" Zira said. "Affirmitive. I saw it with my own eyes, so did Lana" Vitani said. Zira growled with anger when she heard this.
"Kovu can not betray us" Zira said. "What do we do now, mother?" Vitani said. "Let's go back and tell this to Scar. We will attack tomorrow" Zira said. With that we left to go back to the outlands. When we got back to the outlands, we reported everything to Scar. "Ugh, that brat! Fine, we will attack tomorrow. Lana, come with me. we need to continue our traning" Scar said. "But it's late" I said. Scar got annoyed with me.
"I don't care, We are attacking tomorrow and that is final" Scar said. With that, Scar dragged me to the training area, and we started to train again. I kept dodging his moves and taking the punches he threw at me. The whole time during training was hell. Scar yelled at me for every mistake I made, and every punch Scar threw at me was a beating. I just wanted to rest right now, but I can't.
It is late at night, and we finally finished training. I think it is around 3:30 in the morning right now because it is really dark outside and the stars shone brightly. When we finished, Scar dragged me back into the cave, and he closed the boulder behind him when he left. I sighed, not knowing what to do at this point.
there was no point in escaping since Scar is guarding me like a dog right now and there was a big boulder blocking my way that I couldn't move out of the way because it was too heavy. I looked at my clothes which were now ripped and tattered from Scar beating me and the harsh training I have been doing. I sighed. this was one of my favorite RWBY shirts and now it was ruined and I did not have a spare change of clothes.
I wished I was back at home in pride rock with my family again. I hoped they come to rescue me soon. I don't know how much longer I can deal with Scar and the outlanders anymore. If my family doesn't come soon, then I need to think of a way for me to escape without getting caught. I decided to worry about escaping tomorrow and get some sleep so I can prepare for tomorrow.
I laid down and fell into a deep sleep.
