Chapter 1
It's been a long time since the class 1-A students had this leisure time. If they will look back the activities they engaged for the past few months, some were busy with their hero work studies, some were concentrating reviewing the lessons that they couldn't catch up, some also took their provisional hero license course, and the latest thing they had was the school festival event. Every weekend, they were all busy with their band or dance practice, going out to buy materials and making costumes, but all these activities are all done. They felt all that they could finally release the weights and stress off from their shoulders.
Most of them were spending their time in the lobby. Yaoyorozu was making the latest tea she obtained it from her mother while she explains the health benefits and its origin to Uraraka and Ashido who were waiting for her to serve the tea. Further inside the kitchen, Sato, Jiro and Hagakure were designing the toppings of the Tiramisu Mousse they made for everyone. Bakugo, who just came to drink some water was caught by Jiro and Hagakure to take some picture for them. The man burst his complain at first but in the end, he took several pictures for them from different angles.
In the television area of the lobby, the two sofas were occupied by group of boys: Denki, Sero, Kirishima, and Mineta. They were rapt with the Escape game that Sero just purchased through online. Since they all had the Nintendo switch, the boys decided to gather and play several rounds. In the open couches, Asui and Koda were having their friendly chat while at the other side of the couch sat Tokoyami and Shoji. Their eyes were just looking at the chess board that is placed in between them, both thinking which piece to move next in order to obtain the victory title for tonight's battle.
Beside them stood Iida, Todoroki and Aoyama who were watching their silent match. Todoroki would sometimes ask Iida for its rules and the possible moves of each piece since he only knows how to play shogi (Japanese chessboard game) while Aoyama would give his opinion that he prefers to play poker than chess.
From the entrance, Midoriya and Ojiro came back while chatting and wiping their sweat with their towels. They just came back from their daily self-training routine and praise for each other's martial arts skills.
"Woah, what's going on? Everyone is in the lobby" Midoriya remarked in surprise when he realized that all his classmates are present in the lobby. Ojiro had the same expression as the other but smiled.
"But don't you think it's a rare opportunity?" Ojiro said excitingly. "We were all busy for the past few months and finally we are free from exams, activities, and internship. Come on, let's join with them, Midoriya." And stepped in the foyer.
Midoriya returned his bright smile and nodded. "You're right." Then followed after his friend. As they walk down the lobby, he did not know why but Midoriya felt warmth inside the building. As he looked to his sides, laughter and voices of his precious classmates were heard, enjoying with the company of one another. Sense of bliss was suddenly felt which made him to smile in happiness.
'I am so blessed that I met with everyone' the young hero thought. He wished, no, perhaps everyone in the room subconsciously felt the same, hoping that this merry atmosphere will last longer.
But everything doesn't go as they wished, don't they?
As soon as Midoriya and Ojiro arrived in the kitchen to drink some water, they heard someone's yelp followed by several thuds of objects and abrupt scraping of the couches from the television area. When Midoriya whipped his head towards that place, people who were playing games and chatting in the couches were standing away from the television, ignoring their strewed Nintendo switches and disorganized chess pieces on the board for they were all facing upwards, their eyes filled with fright as if they saw a horrible monster just like in the typical movies.
When the rest of the members followed their gaze, they all gasped and froze. Some even doubted their eyes if they are seeing an illusion or not.
"I-It can't be…" Mineta stammered while slowly pedaling backwards with his playmates.
"Isn't this similar to the warp gate of League of Villains?" when Sero remarked his words, flashes of League of Villains appeared in their mind. They remember this black hole all too well. It is almost like a trauma to them. They first saw this wrap in USJ, where several villains, Nomu and the League of Villains leader, Shigaraki came out. The second time they saw was during their training camp together with the class 1-B students. Through the wrap, all the executives of the League of Villains appeared, causing chaos and even abducted Bakugo. It was one of the worst nightmares they have ever experienced.
"Everyone, get away from there!" Midoriya shouted as he vaulted over the counter simultaneously Bakugo flying towards the crowd. His classmates complied while the rest the gathered around while making a good distance from the warp gate. They do not want to lose anyone anymore. Enough is enough.
Cold sweat was shed as everyone was locking their eyes onto the swirling black warp. But they are also trained heroes now. They should expect the unexpected. Instinctively, as if their bodies have already get used with this kind of situation, everyone activated their quirk, taking their fighting stance and has already divided their roles according to their quirk in case they will engage in a battle.
'Is it really the League of Villains?' Midoriya was already speculating the situation. 'But I heard from Gran Torino that Kurogiri, the villain who can use the warp gate is imprisoned- did he escape? No, that's impossible. Then a villain with similar quirk as Kurogiri? If so, why that villain is trying to attack us? Why at this moment? For what purpose?' his thoughts were filled with questions even though he knew that his inquiries will not be answered.
It was that moment. As if someone released a wild beast from the cage, their tension heightened when they all felt someone presence coming out from the warp gate. One, no, two. There are two invaders trying to enter to their dimension. Everyone took few steps backward and lowered their stance so that they can attack the intruder any time.
"Here they come!" Kirishima exclaimed, warning everybody in the lobby a second before the intruders came out from the warp gate. But something unexpected happened. It seemed like the intruders were out of conscious, as soon as they appear before them, their bodies dropped roughly on the floor and the warp gate that was hovering above their heads disappeared.
"Eh?" was their first expression for they didn't expect that the invaders will be out of conscious from the very beginning. For the first few moments, they all let out sighs of relief but the tension heightened again when they noticed something strange.
"Hey, what's the meaning of this!?" Ashido exclaimed in total bewilderment. The rest of her classmate were also wearing the same mien, sharp gasps were heard, jaws dropped while others were covering their mouth and were speechless for not a single person in the lobby couldn't formulate any possible reason why those intruders looked exactly like 'them.'
Slowly, all their gaze fell upon Midoriya and Bakugo-
"What kind of joke is this!?" Bakugo snapped and exclaimed simultaneously small sparks of explosions were released from his palm. Albeit his booming voice rang his classmates' ears they were thankful for breaking the long deafening silence and heavy tension in the lobby.
Just observing at his scowling face, they could tell that he isn't pleased with the situation. He then stomped towards the unconscious 'Midoriya' and 'Bakugo' then grabbed the collar of his twin, raising his open arm as he activated his quirk in an attempt to blow his target.
"Eh-Wha—K-Ka-chan, wait!" Midoriya dashed to stop his childhood friend. Denki and Kirishima, who were just standing close to Bakugo, immediately grabbed his arms while Sero ungrasp his hand from the collar and helped his friends to stop the about-to-rampage man.
"Hey, Calm down, Bakugo!" Kirishima exclaimed, still pushing his friend away from the unexpected visitors.
"I know how you feel, but let's calm down for a bit, okay?!" Sero added.
"Why do you have the courage to blow up yourself, huh?!" Denki followed.
"Shut up!" Bakugo retorted, swinging his arms and freed himself from the grasps of his clique. "I am going to wake up these bastards and let them blab all the information they know!" he shouted while bursting his mini explosions on his palm again.
Just beside the commotion, Uraraka jolted when she noticed that Midoriya was already mumbling his theories about these unexplainable phenomena while placing his folded fingers before his mouth as if he is reciting a mantra.
"D-Deku-kun, calm down" she stammered, trying to pull out Midoriya from his deep thoughts. Asui then walked beside her while placing her finger on her chin.
"Well, it can't be help-" she said while scrutinizing the unconscious strangers with her skeptical yet surprised gaze. "Even just witnessing people who looks exactly the same as Midoriya-chan and Bakugo-chan are surprising, but for them-" she said while turning her gaze towards the baffled Midoriya and outranging Bakugo, "I think it's more than that."
Uraraka nodded her head understandably. "If I am in their position, probably I would be fainting right now." She expressed sheepishly while rubbing the back of her head. Soon, the lobby was filled with loud murmurs, everyone expressing their opinions and theories about 'them,' some were overreacting with the situation while some were still persuading and stopping Bakugo from attacking the strangers until finally, their class representative, Iida raised his voice.
"Everyone, please calm down!" he exclaimed, gaining everyone's attention and successfully eased the noise in the lobby. "I know everyone is questioning about this sudden occurrence, but let us calm down, okay? I suggest that we will report this matter immediately to Aizawa-sensei."
"I agree with Iida-san" Yaoyorozu, their vice class representative remarked. "It is dangerous to act without knowing anything." Hearing their two leaders' opinions, everyone understood their points and agreed to call their adviser. It is better to hand this case over to the professionals than handling by themselves.
But before Iida could even leave the group, all of a sudden, they heard a low groan from one of the unconscious men. Everyone jerked and took a distance from the strangers, except Bakugo. He was wearing his most malicious grin and was already in a stance to attack him if ever that person, the OTHER Bakugo, will attack them.
"Hurry up and wake the hell up!" Bakugo hissed, eager to blow the face of his twin. "And let me scrape that face of yours and reveal your true identity!"
"""""
Bakugo furrowed his eyebrows when he heard, albeit it was faint, different voices around him. He then slowly opened his eyelids and then squinted his eyes when the sudden brightness struck before him. Little by little, the white radiance began to dye with different soft hues then few moments later, his fuzzy vision gradually stabilizes until he was blankly staring his hand that lays on his side.
As if the hazy fog in his mind cleared up, Bakugo gasped and pushed the floor with his both hands, abruptly pulling his fatigue body from the ground which caused him to winced with the sudden pain he felt from his head.
Muttering under his breath, his hand immediately covered the area where he felt the sting, but it lasted only for few seconds when he recognized his other hand. It was as if he just saw a stunning scenery for the first time his eyes were widened in awe.
"It can't be-" his words trailed away when he finally noticed people's stares. Slowly, he perked his head up and did a sharp inhale when his eyes met with several stunned and baffled stares of the people gathering before him.
"Yo, imperson-" Before Bakugo could even exclaimed his words, Sero wrapped his mouth and his upper limbs with his tape then pulled him back to the crowd while ignoring the muffling demand and threatening glare of his scowling friend. The classmates nearby them silently thanked Sero for his heroic act for seizing the about-to-go-rage guy.
The class 1-A students exchanged glances to one another, prompting someone to speak to the stranger. Finally, Kirishima took a step forward and volunteered then knelt before Bakugo while maintain a distance in case of trouble.
"Yo, uh… Are you alright?" Kirishima started awkwardly and did his best to show his friendly smile. "I know you are confuse right now but where did you guy-" his words trailed away when he noticed the soften gaze of Bakugo, his red eyes that are usually filled with intensity and power were filled with a mixture of bewilderment, relief and tint of…pain.
Not only Kirishima, but everyone in the room noticed his melancholic mien. Though no words came out from his mouth, they felt as if they heard his heart crushed into thousand shards of glasses.
Bakugo then whipped his head side to side as if he is checking his surroundings. He then looked up and then back to the group. "Oi, answer my damn question." As if his soft mien he just showed few seconds ago was a joke, he grabbed Kirishima's collar and pulled him close. "Is it Friday today?" he inquired as he scowled.
"Eh- Ah-What-?" the unexpected question baffled Kirishima. "Ah- yeah. Today is Friday. W-What's wrong with that?" and somehow managed to answer.
Hearing his words, Bakugo's mien calmed down and did a small smirk as he slowly released Kirishima from his grab. He then dropped his bottom completely on the floor like an exhausted man who just managed to escape from a prison, and embraced his one leg with his arm as he buried his face on top of it while releasing a loud relief sigh.
"So, we made it, huh…" his voice cracked as if he is about to weep.
Everyone in the lobby were in daze. They didn't know what to do but they felt pity on him. What happened to him? Why do he look so exhausted? Even Bakugo, who was struggling with Sero's tape finally calmed down, totally bemused with the action of his look alike twin.
'What it is really going on in here?' Midoriya asked in his mind, trying to organized his messy thoughts. 'There is another Ka-chan and Me. We don't know where they came from but based from their state right now, I don't see any sign of hostility or threats from them rather it seemed like they just escaped from something…something that caused too much pain in their heart-'
In a midst of silent confusion, they all jerked when they heard a groan from the other stranger. This made Midoriya to become nervous. He did not know why but he felt that as long as 'he' will wake up, they will finally be able to find out the truth they were seeking for.
Midoriya released another groan while turning his limped body to his side. Slowly, he lifted his heavy eyelids then shifted his eyes from side to side when he noticed several figures before him.
"A-Are you alright?" Uraraka took a courage to speak while Todoroki and Midoriya helped him to sit down. "Do you know where you are?"
Midoriya gasped and recoiled back in surprise. As if he is trying to find out if he is dreaming or not, he looked at his both trembling hands with incredulous look but when he noticed the presence of Bakugo sitting beside him, he bit his lips then looked back to Todoroki, Midoriya and Uraraka.
"C-Could you please tell me what day is today?" he finally spoke after he woke up. Everyone in the lobby were surprised when he also asked the same question. Why are they concerned about the day? They all thought.
"It's damn Friday, bastard" Bakugo exclaimed from behind while approaching Midoriya. "Why are you guys asking for the day, huh?!"
"Is it for real?" Midoriya inquired again as he slightly pulled his body forward. "Is it that Friday night when everyone from class 1-A were in the lobby?"
His second question piqued everyone's attention. "Yeah, but why do you know about that?" Todoroki asked laconically.
All of a sudden, as if the time stopped for a moment, everyone was surprised when they noticed broken tears were flowing down to 'his' cheek.
"We made it… We made it!" Midoriya uttered and as if he was just released from a great distress, slowly he dropped himself on the ground and embraced his trembling body. At first, he kept on rubbing his eyes, trying to stop his nonstop tears but the in the end, he couldn't control his overflowing emotion, he eventually dropped his both arms on the floor and burst out crying.
Everyone became speechless. The snivels and bitter cry echoed throughout the lobby. They didn't know what to do but they all felt the same thing from him- agony.
"I wonder what had happened to them…" Asui uttered in concern as she glanced Midoriya and Bakugo, who was silently sitting on the same spot.
"We don't know what happen to them but I can tell that before they come here, they experienced something terrible that even drove 'them' into despair." Todoroki said as flashes of his dark childhood memory popped in his mind.
Moments later, Bakugo stood up and staggered as he walked towards the crying Midoriya. At first, everyone wondered what was he planning to do, but a second later it surprised them when the he threw his fist straight down to Midoriya's pate. Midoriya, who witnessed himself getting hit also winced even though he isn't the person who received the painful fist of his childhood friend.
"Enough with the crying, you damn nerd!" he hissed as the other stopped weeping, but instead he held his head while biting his lower lip, both trying to ease the pain and stopping his snivel. Although Bakugo tried to appear nonchalant, they all noticed his swollen eyes and tinted red cheeks as if he was also carrying the same burden as his friend.
"We can't just waste our time here, so move on. It's not yet too late."
Midoriya did a short gasped and widened his eyes in realization. "You're right" he said, his voice crackled, and wiped his tears and nose. "We still have a chance."
"Oi" Everyone in the crowd turned their heads towards the source of voice. "Are you done with your business? Tell us who you are and what are your damn purpose for infiltrating here?" Bakugo scowled, breaking the tension in the atmosphere.
Midoriya stood up and glanced towards the crowd. "I apologize for losing control over myself." He said and offered his small bow as a sign of apology. "I will not ask you to believe us immediately but please believe in us"
His ironic words made everyone confuse. "What do you mean by that?" Midoriya prompt.
His twin and Bakugo exchanged glances then nodded.
"We came from the future. Specifically-" they then looked straight into the eyes of their twins. "We are the 3 days after Midoriya Izuku and Bakugo Katsuki."
