Chapter 26: The attacks

it has been a few days since I have been kidnapped by Scar and the outlanders. It has been hell here since I got kidnapped. Scar forces me to train endlessly and I contently get punished by Scar. I have gathered around with the outlanders discussing the plans with them. "Everyone understands what to do?" Scar said. Everyone nodded. "Okay, good. Now let's get moving. Come on Lana" Scar said as he dragged me with him.

As we continued walking, we came into a dark, smoky place. I didn't like it here at all and I wanted to get out of here. The hairs on the back of my neck stood up as we continued walking. When we stopped, I saw my nephew, Simba, and Kovu standing in front of us. Simba growled and glared at us as we walked closer to him. The lionesses laughed evilly. "Why Simba" Zira said with a smirk. "Zira, Scar" Simba said with a glare.

"What are you doing out here, and so...alone?" Zira said. Simba growled as we surrounded him. "Scar, Zira, let my Aunt go" Simba said. "No, she has been a part of the plan too" Scar said. "Simba, I didn't want to do this" I said. "he's been forcing me to do this" I said with my body shaking.

I think Simba believes me because he kept growling at Scar and Zira as they kept coming at us. "Well done Kovu. Just like we've always planned" Zira said with a smirk. "You!" Simba yelled as he growled at Kovu. "No! I didn't have anything to do with this!" Kovu said. "Attack!" Zira and Scar ordered. Scar looked at me as the others began attacking. "You know what to do Lana" Scar said. I nodded and made it look like I was attacking Simba.

I was trying my best to stop the lionesses from attacking Simba. Kovu helped too, but he was knocked down by Vitani. A few minutes of attacking and fighting, Simba fell off of the cliff and landed hard on his back. "Yes! We got him!" Zira cried. We slid down the cliff. Vitani was the first to attack Simba again. "Remember your training, as a unit" Zira called. We ran after Simba. I tried to stop the lionesses but they kept pushing me back.

We kept running until we reached a pile of logs on a hill. "Simba!" Kovu called when he saw Simba. "Get him, Kovu! get him! Do it, now!" Zira yelled. Kovu said nothing and ran away. Simba continued to climb the logs. "I'll do it for you, mother!" Nuka shouted. Nuka then begins chasing Simba. Nuka continued climbing up the logs. "Mother, are you watching!" Nuka shouted. "I'm doing it for you, and I'm doing it for me" Nuka said. Nuka then grabbed Simba by the leg.

"This is my moment of glory!" Nuka said. Simba then pushed the logs and the logs fell on top of Nuka, crushing him. A few logs fell on top of Scar and hit him hard in the head, and the other logs crushed Scar. I coughed as the smoke flowed through us. A few minutes later, Kovu appeared. Kovu walked up to Nuka and Scar to push the logs off of them, but Zira pushed him away. I also went over to Scar to check and see if he was alive or not.

Zira hit me hard in the face and I fell to the ground. Kovu went over to me and helped me up. Zira then went over to check on Nuka first. "Nuka" Zira said, sadly. Nuka coughed. "I'm sorry mother, I tried" Nuka said. "Shh" Zira said as she gently placed her paw under Nuka's chin. Nuka closed his eyes. Nuka died.

Zira then went over to Scar, and pushed the logs off of him. Scar had blood coming out of his head. Zira pressed against his head to try and stop the bleeding. "Nuka" Vitani whispered sadly. "Scar, What happened? Are you okay?" Zira said with worry. "I tried to get out of the way...but the logs crushed me" Scar said.

Zira rubbed her head on Scar's head. Scar kissed Zira, as Zira had some tears streaming down her face. "Punish Lana for me, okay?" Scar said. "Oh, I will" Zira said with a low growl. "I love you, Zira" Scar said. "I love you too Scar" Zira said. Zira and Scar kissed each other a final time. Scar had passed away, for real this time. I felt some weight lifted off my shoulders. Zira then went over to her kids and the rest of the pride.

"Daddy..." Vitani said softly when she saw Scar's lifeless body on the ground. The lionesses mourned Nuka and Scar's death. Kovu and I just stood there in silence. "What do we do now, Kovu? Should we run away?" I whispered. "No, just wait" Kovu whispered into my ear. "Scar...watch over my poor Nuka" Zira said softly. "You! You!" Zira said angrily as she looked at me and Kovu. Kovu and I gasped in fear as Zira raised her paw.

Zira then swiped her paw at Kovu, and Kovu cried out in pain. "Kovu!" I cried with worry. Kovu was gasping for breath. I looked and Kovu had a scar on his right eye, just like the scar that I have on my eye. Zira then went over to me. "You little brat!" Zira hissed as she raised her paw at me. I whimpered in fear and backed away from her but she scratched me in my right eye, the same place where my scar is. the scar re-opened and started bleeding again.

Zira gasped when she saw us. She then spoke up, "What have you two done?!" Zira said with anger in her voice. "I didn't mean to" I said. "It wasn't my fault...I didn't mean to...It wasn't my fault I..." Kovu said in between stutters. "I did nothing!" Kovu yelled. "I did nothing either!" I yelled.

"Exactly. and in doing so you betrayed your pride. And Lana, you have disobeyed us! you did not attack Simba like you were supposed to!" Zira yelled with anger. "I don't want anything more to do with this! I will tell Simba and he will kill you all!" I yelled. "And you Kovu, you betrayed Scar!" Zira yelled. "I want nothing more to do with him!" Kovu yelled. "You cannot escape it! Nuka and Scar are dead because of you!" Zira yelled as she backed up Kovu.

"No" Kovu said. "You've killed your own brother and father!" Zira yelled. "No!" Kovu yelled as he ran away. The lionesses roared as Kovu ran away. "Let him go" Zira said. "And you..." Zira said as she walked over to me. "Stay back!" I yelled. "You killed Scar too! How dare you!" Zira yelled. "And you disobeyed us!" Zira yelled. "Now I will kill you" Zira said. Vitani held me down as Zira prepared to kill me.

I kicked Vitani hard in the stomach and ran away. I dared not to look back as I was running away. I could hear Zira speaking loudly as I was running away. "Let her go, Simba has hurt me for the last time! Now he has corrupted Kovu! Listen to me. Simba is injured and weak. Now is the time to attack! We will take his entire kingdom by force!" Zira yelled angrily.

I could hear her and the other lionesses laughing as I continued to run away.
