Brand new season! 20 new castaways are ready to embark on an adventure of a lifetime. Now that we are in the new season, I'm expecting the writing to be way better than last season. This season of course is filled with characters from different universes, so it won't just be a certain game or show filled with all of its characters.
This chapter was pretty long, but that's because of the introduction.
Anyways, enough talking. Let's start this new season!
The camera showed the crystal clear blue water and the blue skies. Birds were flying through the air in slow motion and the music was ominous. It then zoomed out quickly and quickly showed an island. Once the island was shown the music grew louder.
"It is known to be one of the most stunning places in the world!... FIJI!"
The camera zoomed into the island. It had beautiful green grass and landscapes.
"Crystal clear water… Diverse and dangerous wildlife!" The camera showed multiple animals like sharks, bugs, and snakes.
"And hundreds of islands!"
The camera then showed the island pouring as the trees were blowing in the wind and thunder was booming. It showed a close-up of a tree that had water leaking off of it.
"And when you thought it couldn't get better… We are having a culture war!"
Two boats were now coming in. They both had ten castaways on it. The waves were high so the ride was very bumpy. Some of the contestants almost fell out of the boat and they laughed after being in shock. They were now holding on together than they were before.
"The castaways don't know it yet, but they are mixed into Millenials and Gen X's!"
"Millennials are players from age 18-39! These players are known for being young, strong, fast! Unlike their competitors, they can use their physical abilities to get their way. Their biggest downfall could be their brains, which is something the Gen Xers have. Will this affect the tribe when it comes to camp life or challenges?"
A fox was seen trying to catch some rain droplets in his mouth.
Fox (Pilot, Millennial) "I don't like it when people tell me to grow up or are like 'Fox you're in your 20's, be mature!' I should be able to enjoy my life, not sit around in an office all day. In my spare time when I'm not flying up in space killing aliens, I'm getting drunk at the bar with my pals or going skiing or just being at home binge-watching TV shows! For now, life is fun! I have no regrets! I just wanna enjoy it while I can, before I get old and have to quit doing stuff I enjoy…" Fox ranted.
The camera showed a blonde-haired girl who looked like she just got out of college. She was staring brightly at the island that they were heading towards.
Olivia (Queen, Millennial) "This season will be so exciting! I'm still so young and have many things to cross off my bucket list. This was on top of the list, playing survivor! Now here I am, on a boat to go through thirty-nine days of hell!" She laughed. "This moment will hopefully help me figure out my life and what I will do with the next sixty years or so I have in this world, I just dropped out of college and I must say that was the best decision I've ever made, now I can do what I want without stress! I get to live and enjoy my life, and at such a young age. That's what makes me happy to be a millennial."
A blue hedgehog with spiky hair and red and white shoes had his fist on his cheek. He was waiting for the moment where they got on the island and it was time to start the adventure of a lifetime.
Sonic (Unoccupied, Millennial) "As a millennial, I know what it means to have fun. Gen Xers always get on our cases about being too lazy, or being too dumb or whatever. Personally, I don't see what's so grand about a Gen Xers life. What's the point in sitting around in a box office all day when you can have fun running around with friends? Old people are always bossing us young people around… But hey! You can't be mad at us for having fun… Something the Gen Xers haven't had in years!" Sonic chuckled.
The camera then zoomed out of the Millenials bot and zoomed into the Gen X tribe's boat.
"Players from the Gen X tribe are known to be wiser and older. If you're 40-62, you are a Gen X. Unlike the millennials, Gen Xers are known for being wise and using their brains for getting out of situations. They are also known for being more responsible. Will they manage to beat the millennials with their minds?"
A dog was seen holding on as tight as she could. She was wearing a uniform and a short ponytail.
Isabelle (Secretary, Gen X) "I'm definitely one of the oldest players in this cast. I'm 42 in human years, but in dog years I'm 294. This doesn't mean I'm weak though! I'm as strong as anyone else here! Who else can say that they are a secretary of a whole village? I bet no one here! Back in the day, we didn't have cell phones we can just advertise to people with. We had to walk to people's houses, get slammed in the face with a door, and so on, so forth!" Isabelle laughed.
A big yellow ball with limbs and a face was talking to one of the players on his tribe's boat. He seemed to enjoy the conversation.
Pac Man (Ghosthunter, Gen X) "I'm leaving loved ones at home that I will not see again in thirty-nine days, but I will be having the experience of a lifetime at this island… Sorta! I know how to be responsible and care for people because I have raised a family for years now. Most millennials just say "oh, I'll get along with everyone!" But it just doesn't work that way! You have to know how to care for them and treat them like a father, that's the advantage I think I have! It can't be that hard, I'm just being me." Pac man nodded at the camera.
Ryu (Gen X) "Us Gen Xers know how to be responsible and take accountability for our actions. The young people on the other tribe will have no idea what they're doing out there! We've been through a lot! Some people from that tribe probably are still in school. If they think we're just gonna let them slide by and win, they are sorely mistaken! Good luck, kids. You all are gonna need it! " Ryu said, flexing.
"Two generations with two different approaches of life… They will be abandoned and left to fend for themselves! They must learn to adapt or they'll be voted out! In the end, only one will remain and claim the one million dollar prize!"
39 DAYS…
20 PEOPLE…
1 SURVIVOR!
The camera showed Toad smiling on a huge rock with waves splashing behind it.
The twenty castaways jumped off the boat after it landed on the island. They all took glances at their surroundings. They couldn't believe it, they were finally on the island that they dreamed to be on. Fiji! They saw the host of the show smiling at them with his hands on his hips. They also saw two mats, one was green and the other was blue. They all stood in a line side-by-side. Toad was right in front of them. In the flesh.
"Alright! Welcome to the second season of survivor!" Toad announced.
The castaways clapped and cheered because the season had officially started.
"Shall we get to it?"
"Hell yeah!"
"Of course!"
"I'm ready!"
"Alright then!" Toad picked up a plate with different bags on it. The bags had the names of the twenty castaways who came into the game. He then walked over to the castaways and made them pick up their bags.
"It's a very exciting time. We are now picking tribes. What tribe are you gonna be on? You will soon find out!" Toad teased them. Once he got to Fox, he obnoxiously kissed the bag. Once Toad walked back to his spot, he told everyone to open their bags.
"Blue." Honey queen said while putting the buff around her arm.
"Hello, nice to meet you." Link shook hands with Meta Knight.
Everyone else was hugging and shaking hands with each other until they all had their buffs on and were standing on their tribe's mat.
"I can't believe I'm wearing an official survivor buff!" Zelda said with the buff on her head.
"Every year in survivor we always switch things up. Last year it was brains vs brawn vs beauties… This year will be MILLENNIALS VS GEN X!" Toad announced to the castaways. They all had shocked reactions but were also smiling. They clapped and some of them even cheered from the back.
Sonic (Unoccupied, Millennial) "Millennials vs Gen X?! It's just, wow! I literally just turned into an adult a few months ago, so I'm obviously gonna be the youngest in the cast! This will definitely be interesting, knowing that I will be working with other people around my age instead of people who are thirty years older than me." Sonic laughed and rubbed the back of his head. "Generation vs generation, let's see who prevails!"
"This isn't just older people vs younger people. It's a battle of two different ways of life. Your generations are very different from each other and have different viewpoints than the other. Millennials ranging from 18-39, let me ask something. Who thinks they are the youngest on this tribe?"
Sonic raised his hand right away not giving anyone else time to raise their hand.
"Wow, you didn't even hesitate." Toad noticed.
"Yup, I just turned eighteen years old a few months ago, I'm a high school dropout and right now I'm just chilling at home," Sonic told everyone there. Everyone was shocked to see someone so young playing survivor with the rest of them.
"Wow, so there's no question you're the youngest player in the cast!"
"Yeah, I'm still living with my parents too!" Sonic laughed along with everyone else.
"So, now does anyone on the Gen X tribe wanna own up to being the oldest on the tribe?" Toad asked.
No one raised their hand because it would be hard to tell, but eventually Professor Oak raised his hand.
"Oak! You are old enough to be these guy's parents! Do you have any advice for them as they get older and farther into life?"
"Don't expect everything to be handed to you. You have to earn what you want. I know the generations before Gen X are not like this, but I guess they can't help themselves!" Oak trash-talked while the rest of the tribe laughed. The millennials playfully rolled their eyes.
"Just wait 'till y'all can't catch up in challenges! We'll see who really earns what they want!" Samus came back at him as everyone was laughing.
"We'll see, we'll see!" Oak shrugged but was still confident in the Gen Xers.
"Oh, well I see we have some competition here!" Toad clapped. "That's what I like to see, especially with this twist! Let's put your competitiveness to the test! I'll give you your first task! Scattered up in this jungle area, are items that are going to help you in the next thirty-nine days! Some of these days will either offer short-term value, while other items will offer long-term value! In addition, both tribes have two stations, you'll choose one item from each station, and leave the other one behind… This will be your first huge decision in this game. Alright, are y'all ready!?"
"Yeah!" Everyone yelled.
"Alright…
Lets…
Start…
NOW!" Toad raised his hands up in the air signaling it was time for every cast member to start running.
Every castaway stopped standing around and started moving their feet to the area where all the item supplies were. Some players like Fox for the millennials and Ryu for the gen Xers were in the lead, but players like Olivia for the millennials and Peter for the Gen Xers Gene behind the group.
"You have two minutes to pick up whatever you need! Don't leave anything you think is valuable! That can bite you in the butt in the future!"
Everyone was picking up cases full of foods like mango or beans or had to solve a tricky puzzle to get to it, but ended up figuring it out in a quick time span.
"Bananas! Someone grab the bananas, hurry!" Honey queen told her tribe, the Gen Xers, as she was carrying logs of wood back to their mat.
"Please don't leave the coconuts…" Link told Mydoria as he was bringing some vegetables to the mat.
"Oh yeah, got it!" Midoriya gave him a thumbs up, he then kept digging through the tree until he noticed something different… He grabbed it, put it in his pants, and ran off to place the coconuts on the mat.
Midoriya (Student, Millennial) Yes! Yes! Yes! Not too shabby! Found an advantage on the first day, I wonder what it is! It's obviously not an idol, but I'm sure it's something important that I will have to just hold on to until I have to use it." Midoriya said, obviously happy about his findings.
"So, we can either grab pots and pans or what seems like more stable and bigger pieces of wood," Zelda said to Yuri who nodded her head. They were picking what item they should take at the first Millennial station.
"B-Better takes the pots and pans, we already have enough wood to build a stable shelter." She said quietly. Zelda noticed this but nodded at her.
"Millennials just made their first decision, they're taking the pots and pans!" Toad noticed and nodded at their decision.
Cackletta and Snake made it to the first Gen X station just as Yuri and Zelda left theirs. They had the same options as the two millennials did.
"Hm… Honestly, it would be very risky to not take the pots and pans, especially when we already have wood. But this wood will help us construct a very good shelter, unlike that flimsy and easily breakable wood we have. What decision do you think we should make?" Snake asked Cackletta.
"Hm, well, I honestly feel the pots and pans are an important necessity when it comes to living, if we didn't have the pots, what would we boil rice with?" Cackletta told him. "The only thing we would really be able to cook is fish, but even then it's harder to receive and we also don't get fishing gear until like day four or six, and that's IF we win the reward challenge."
Snake nodded. He saw her point. He had a plan for how to fix that problem, but there was no point in arguing with someone he feels is entitled to a lot back home.
"Alright, let's take the pots and pans." Snake nodded at her.
"The gen x tribe also takes the pots and pans! Thirty seconds left!"
Everyone was running quicker now. There was one station left for both tribes and a couple of players went up to it to see the options.
"CRAP! Fishing gear or chickens ugh! That's hard!" Sonic sighed. His tribe was making a signal for him to grab the fishing gear though, so that's what he did.
"The millennials grab the fishing gear!"
"The fishing gear will help us get more food in the long run." Meta Knight told Sonic. Sonic nodded while he brought the fishing gear back to their mat.
The gen x tribe was now at their mat. They saw the chickens and fishing gear.
"We should take the fishing gear, It looks like we have strong fishers on this tribe! I wouldn't be surprised if we get lots of fish just by going out there and swimming." Helen Gravely told Lucina, who simply nodded and grabbed the fishing gear.
"Fifteen seconds left! The gen x tribe grab the fishing gear as well! So it seems like both tribes have the same mindset!"
Everyone was running as fast as they could. There was a lot of commotion as a lot of players tried to make a quick trip back into the forest to grab some supplies and run back as fast as they could.
"5…
4…
3…
2…
1…
Challenge over! Drop your items and head back to your mat!"
The camera transitioned to all of the castaways now being at the colored mats that they were supposed to be on. There were many supplies on the ground next to them, like food, building materials, or just essential needs.
"So, let's talk about what just happened. Both tribes took the fishing gear and the pots and pans. So it seems like you all are thinking through the same wavelength! Isabelle, is this a coincidence, or are you guys just both making decisions that you felt would be smarter and both ending up agreeing with each other but not knowing?"
"Honestly, we chose both of these essential needs for the long-term part of the game. We need food, that's obvious. But what we really need is food that we can rely on that will get us through the whole game. Not just food that we know is good but will last us only a week." Isabelle explained.
"Link, do you agree?"
"Yeah, I do agree with that. But Toad, this just proves we are both thinking very smart and it WILL be a competitive matchup. I hope the other tribe feels the same way." Link said with his hands tied behind his back and smiling at the gen x tribe.
The gen x tribe nodded and also smiled.
"Well, here are your guys' maps to the beaches you will be living on!" He threw a map to Helen Gravely who was barely able to catch it but got a hold of it. He then threw one to Samus who had no problem catching it.
"Head on out!" Toad gave one last smile to the castaways. They all waved goodbye to the host of the show.
Bayonetta (Umbra Witch, Gen X): "This battle will be insane, we all know it. No need for denying it. Especially with this start, we both know that the other tribe is not as dumb as we thought they were when we got our first glances at them." Bayonetta laughed. She was carrying a bag with building materials inside. "So good luck millennials! You're gonna need it!"
The camera transitioned into showing the two tribes walking in opposite directions carrying supplies, but then zoomed out to show the whole island as a whole. The game has started.
Millennial Tribe: Day 1
"Wow… We're here…" Midoryia could not believe his eyes, he was in Survivor. It was still very hard to take in. But it wasn't just him, it was everyone else who was on the island staring at the beautiful beach that was in front of them.
"Yes, yes we are. Now, I guess we might as well introduce ourselves since of course, we never formally met yet!" Zelda said. "I'll start, my name is Zelda. I'm twenty-six years old and I'm from Hyrule. It's very nice to meet you all. I'm a princess by the way."
Everyone clapped for her. They decided to go clockwise, which meant Meta Knight was next. What no one saw was Link's surprised face.
Link (Archer, Millennials) W-What?! She's from Hyrule too?! And she's the p-princess?! I'm not too much into politics, I'm just your average twenty-five-year-old man who lives in the woods all alone. But the fact I'm here with someone who is royalty in the same town I live in, and I didn't know when I first saw them? That's crazy. I won't make this too obvious, so I have to keep it a secret. But when I first get private time with her, I will talk to her."
"I'm a knight from dreamland. I'm thirty-one." Meta Knight told the tribe. The tribe nodded and clapped for the knight.
A few more players introduced themselves. Olivia, Fox, and Sonic were able to introduce themselves with no problem. Once it was Yuri's turn, she choked up.
"U-um… My name is Yuri, and… I'd rather not." She said, confusing everyone else on the tribe.
Fox (Pilot, Millennial) "So in a social game for a million dollars, Yuri would rather not introduce herself to the tribe?! Wow! I'm not really the type to judge other people, but she definitely has to try ten times harder if she wants to be the next sole survivor." Fox shrugged.
"Oh, well we understand! It's a new environment and it's tough for everyone, we don't blame you for feeling nervous!" Olivia cheered the poor girl up. The rest of the tribe nodded, even though some of them were still confused on why Yuri was keeping her past a secret,
"Anyways, I guess I'm next, eh? My name is Lucina. I come from a small town where I teach kids and adults how to properly use a sword! So from the basics like how to hold it properly or swing properly to learning how to be agile and make your attacks faster and more effective!" Lucina explained.
Everyone was clapping and cheering.
"Wow, so even kids that just got out of preschool can learn?" Samus asked.
"Well, sorta. They don't get real swords like the teenagers and adults do, but the little kids get wooden swords, and also I have to be more of a preschool teacher than a trainer." Lucina giggled.
"Wow, that's amazing." Midoriya was impressed by her work area. It was now his turn, and he knew it since he saw many eyes on him. He then remembered about the advantage he found.
"Oh! Hello, my name is Izuku Midoriya, but you can call me by my last name, which is Midoriya. I'm twenty-three but still in school, trying to find more career possibilities that I like." Mydoria explained to his tribe.
Sonic (Unoccupied, Millennial) I wouldn't be surprised if Midoriya and I find something in common, I think we are similar since we don't have a real job yet, so that's something I can connect to him with." Sonic explained. "I'll try and make some sort of move when we start building and having our one on one conversations."
Everyone nodded and clapped respecting that he was still in school at twenty-three.
"I'm glad you're still going to school to find your real passion and not just graduating with not a real idea of what to do in the outside world." Link said.
"Yeah, right now I'm still trying to figure it out. But I'm sure I'll find it soon!" Midoriya nodded.
Next was Samus.
"Hello, my name is Samus! Not really much interesting to say about me, I'm a bounty hunter and I'm twenty-three! The same age as Midoriya I guess!" She laughed along with everyone else on the tribe. They all ended up clapping for her. Last but not least was Link.
"I guess I'm last! All right, my name is Link, I'm twenty-five, and I'm an archer! I basically just street perform. I arch, which is basically just shooting an arrow and trying to hit the middle target." Link explained.
Everyone clapped and cheered. Since that was everyone, the introductions were over.
"Hm, do you guys wanna take a splash break? You know, get out in the ocean, kinda give us more time to get to know each other!" Samus insisted to the tribe. Some of them were skeptical since they had to get the camp up and running before the night fell, but other people were up for it, so everyone decided to go out in the ocean and splash around with each other. Besides two people…
"Man, this sucks." Meta Knight was sitting on the beach by himself. He really wanted to start building the shelter and not play around, but everyone was already in their bikinis and swimsuits, it was too late.
"Hey, man."
Meta Knight looked up from the ground and saw Link holding out a canteen for him to grab. Meta Knight shrugged and took the canteen. He thanked the archer and took a sip.
"So, can't believe we're already out playing in the ocean like some high school friend group!" Link laughed. Unlike Meta Knight, he was more cheerful about this situation.
"Yeah, we should be building the shelter. I may seem rude or mean by saying this, but we don't have time to splash around in the water and swim. We should start working and getting camp before it gets dark. We also need a fire, but it seems like you and I are the only players that really get this." Meta Knight took another sip of water.
"Yeah, I don't really agree with this either. Just seems like a waste of time if you ask me. But hey, we've gotten stuck on the millennials tribe, so I guess we should've expected everyone to be a little more teenager-like and irresponsible." Link said.
"Yeah, I knew this would happen to be fair. I hoped for the best though. We shouldn't let this ruin our excitement for getting to join the game when millions of people will probably never have the chance even though they really want to be here like us, though." Meta Knight told him. This surprised Link, Link thought Meta knight would be some negative guy, but it seems like he knew how to look on the bright side.
Yuri was also all by herself in the ocean, she didn't wanna get out there where everyone else was having fun and acting like how millennials should. Zelda sat next to her.
"H-Hello?" Yuri was very confused and wasn't afraid to show it.
"Oops, sorry to rudely sit next to you like that." Zelda giggled. "I just wanted to say hi. What's on your mind right now?"
"Well, right now I don't really know what to say or do. I'm just really nervous. I'm not that social, so it's just… Really scary being with new people. Even if they are basically like a temporary family." Yuri sighed.
Zelda shook her head and curled up into a ball. "Well, you remind me of myself when I was little. I was the girl that always sat in the back of the class watching everyone else go off in their friend groups to lunch. After years of this, I decided I had to make some friends. So I talked to people who I felt I had a lot in common with, these people went on to be my friends my whole life. I guess what I'm trying to say is, just talk to people who you feel you connect with. And maybe they can be your new friend."
Yuri was nodding to everything she was saying and then realized something. "Wait, is that why you're talking to me?..."
"Well… Yeah! I know how it feels to be a nervous wreck in front of people, even though I haven't been that way in a while, I understand how you feel and what you go through." Zelda explained to Yuri.
Yuri smiled. "Thank you for checking up, I guess."
Samus, Fox, Sonic, Midoryia, Lucina, and Olivia were all splashing each other and having a great time.
"Ha! Got ya!" Olivia splashed Sonic after he did the same thing to her many times before.
"Well, about… One hundred more until you catch up to how many times I've splashed you!" Sonic laughed and started to swim away from the queen.
"Honestly guys, I like this squad right here. I'm really having a fun time with you all." Fox told the tribe. Everyone else nodded, they really enjoyed hanging out with each other.
"Yeah, it seems like the other four don't really hang out with us." Samus shrugged.
"Well, don't forget guys. It's day one, I'm not saying I don't like this alliance, but let's just see how the other four actually are!" Lucina told them.
"Yeah, also, I don't wanna risk a split vote at the very first tribal council. That would put the whole tribe in dysfunction! So maybe we can talk again tomorrow or on day three, and if we win the next immunity challenge, maybe start something!" Olivia agreed with Lucina.
Samus and Fox shrugged. They saw where they were coming from. Sonic and Midoriya were also fine with the decision to take things slow.
Lucina (Sword Fighter, Millennial) "Pretty interesting dynamic here, right now we have six of us. All six of us enjoy each other's company. The other four are really nice people, but it seems like they wanna be by themselves than be with the rest of the tribe. I wouldn't call us an alliance yet, but I guess we have some sort of mutual agreement that we will talk about that sort of thing as the game goes on."
Gen X Tribe: Day 1
The players on the Gen X tribe walked into camp. They all had one thing in mind: Introductions, and then getting to work before it became night. The Gen X tribe didn't feel the need to play in the ocean like the millennials did.
"Wow, can't believe we're finally here!" Pac Man was first to check out the island they would be living on as a tribe. Everyone followed him and they all were as happy to see the island as he was.
"I know right, can't wait for the creepy crawlies to bite my back until I quit!" Honey queen said which made the whole tribe laugh.
"Hey, let's not forget one thing. We are older and superior. We got this team. Don't forget it!" Ryu held his fist up high in the air. The rest of the tribe cheered and clapped. Everyone now felt it was time for the introductions to start.
"I'll go first. My name is Peter Griffin, just call me Peter, and I am excited to enjoy this mini-vacation!" He told the tribe, making some of them laugh. Some of the tribe was skeptical of him just by looks, but they shrugged it off and went on with the introductions.
"I'm Helen Gravely, I'm a hotel mansion owner that just started its business! Very nice to meet you all." She bowed and everyone clapped.
"No need to bow!" Isabelle giggled. "We're like family right now! Anyways, my name is Isabelle. I'm not a secretary for a village! I miss all of the village people, but this was my life dream, so I'm just happy to be here!"
"Aren't we all!" Honey queen clapped for her along with everyone else. "My name is The honey queen, but you can just call me Honey. That's my nickname! Anyways, I'm a queen for a galaxy with bees in it. We run like a kingdom. I'm fifty-five and… Yeah! That's me!" Honey told the tribe.
"Wow, that's very interesting! A galaxy full of bees, are they your servants?" Helen Gravely asked.
"I don't really like calling them names like that, but they do anything I ask them too… So I guess they are." Honey shrugged.
Professor Oak (Professor, Gen X) "So far, this tribe seems pretty interesting! So far everyone introduced seems to be good people and seems like they have lots to talk about. There is no one I really feel a deep connection with, but I'm sure the player will come soon." Professor Oak laughed.
"My turn? My name is Professor Oak and I'm a professor that studies creatures. I live in the Kanto region and I'm sixty years old!"
"Yes! You can be like our Gandalf of the tribe!" Ryu clapped which made the tribe laugh.
"Hey, I'm open to anything." The professor shrugged while laughing.
"My turn? Alright then. My name is Solid Snake, but call me Snake. I'm a Special Operations Soldier, so of course, I'm in the military and I serve for this universe!" Snake told the tribe and they all were shocked.
"Oh my god. I have so many questions, sorry if that's rude." Bayonetta apologized but Snake laughed.
"Nah, don't worry about it." He elbowed Bayoneta and everyone was clapping for him.
Peter (Toy Safety Inspector, Gen X) "So what yer tellin' me here is that we have a soldier, a queen, and a hotel owner in our tribe?! All I am is some lousy toy shop, workin' guy! I gotta put on my 'A game' when it comes to challenges and camp life to prove this lousy toy shop workin' guy is valuable to the team! Don't worry, I will find a way, Peter Griffin always finds a way!" There was superhero music in the background played by the editors as he smirked at the camera.
"I'll go next, my name is Bayonetta, I'm fifty years old and I'm an umbra witch."
"You're fifty? Nah." Ryu shook his head.
"You easily look like you're in your early thirties." Honey complimented.
"Why thank you, yes I get that a lot. But yes, that is my actual age."
Bayonetta (Umbra Witch, Gen X) "I've been on planet earth for a long time actually, I was born in 1411, I was sealed in a coffin at the bottom of the lake though. I've woken up fifty years ago which is why I'm not 600+ years old. It gives me a lot to think about. Like, what was the world like back then, and what if I wasn't sealed up? Of course, I wouldn't get to be here, but this is something I'm not planning on telling anyone here." Bayonetta said.
Cackletta went up next. "Hello, I am Cackletta, I am the queen of the beanbean kingdom, rivals of the Mushroom Kingdom. I'm forty-six years old."
Everyone clapped for Cackletta.
Snake (Special Operations Soldier, Gen X) Cackletta gives me that eerie feeling she will be a villain of the season. When I was next to her choosing what essential needs we wanted, I could tell just by looking at her eyes she was no good. But I stayed quiet and let her have her way. No way I can make enemies this early to the game!" Snake nodded.
"I'm a martial artist from Japan! I'm fifty years old, and I don't teach children. I fight other people on the street and people come to watch. Yes, it's painful, but I love doing it!" Ryu explained. The tribe was shocked by how violent his job was but clapped for him anyways.
"Well, I guess I'm last! I'm Pac man, and I'm a ghost hunter. I have a family of four and I am forty years old. I'm getting pretty old so it's tough for me to actually do my job but… Hey! It's still working out a bit!" Pac Man laughed.
Everyone clapped.
"Well, that's everyone, we should probably start working on the shelter before it gets late. Let's put our hands in the middle! Bayonetta put her hand in the middle of the circle, everyone did what she did.
"Team Gen X in 3…
2…
1…
Team Gen X!"
Millennial Tribe: Day 1
"We should decide groups, and decide what each group will do." Meta Knight told his tribe.
"I agree, I think that Zelda, Yuri, and I should go look for the water well." Sonic volunteered.
"I'm fine with that, I don't mind at all." Zelda nodded. Yuri nodded. She wasn't against the plan either.
"Alright, we have that down then, I honestly think I would be a good fit for building the fire. I've made a fire before, sure that was years ago, but I think I will be fine. If anyone wants to join me to go get firewood, I'll be in the forest." Link told the tribe.
"I'll go with ya!" Lucina made a playful wink and followed Link into the forest. Now the rest of the castaways on the beach were gonna be building the shelter.
"Alright, I guess the rest of us will be working on the shelter! Let's get to chopping." Fox said. Everyone went their own way. Olivia, Fox, and Samus went to get supplies like the machete and some wood they got from the challenge earlier. Meta Knight and Midoriya went into the forest to find some bamboo.
"So, I'm kind of happy that Sonic went with Zelda and Yuri and Lucina went with Link. It was smart of them to get to know about them." Samus told them.
"Yeah, I think it's important we get to know them so we know who the most reliable and unreliable players are. But if we had to vote a player off right now, I'd say Yuri. She's really shy and is probably not the best in challenges unlike Zelda, Link, and Meta Knight." Fox told the two girls.
Olivia nodded. "I think she doesn't mean harm. She's just nervous that's all. Maybe she will get more open as the days go on!"
"Maybe, but for now, I don't know a single thing about her, so I have no reason to wanna keep her," Fox told Olivia.
Olivia (Queen, Millennial) Maybe Fox is playing the game TOO fast, day one and he's already bashing Yuri for not talking to him. We've been here for only three hours, I say we need to give her time, I don't really wanna vote Yuri out if we lose! It's too early to be thinking of stuff like this anyways!" Olivia sighed.
Midoriya finally got time to himself. He took the note out of his pants and took a fresh sigh of relief. He was finally able to read the note.
Midoriya (Student, Millennial) So, since everyone is off doing their own thing, I'm finally able to read the note by myself. Hopefully, no one just shows up and sees me reading it. That wouldn't be too good." Midoriya laughed.
"Congratulations, you have found a 'safety without power' advantage This allows you to leave tribal council before the votes are read. This makes you unable to be eliminated. But in return for being immune, you can't vote. This can be played until the final six." He read. He fist-pumped the air and put the advantage away.
"I'm so happy I have this advantage, it can be very useful if you need it for yourself. I've found an advantage on day one, and that's very promising!I'm also in the majority which is also important. So far this game is going really well for me!"
…
Lucina and Link were picking up firewood in the forest. It was quiet until Lucina decided to break the silence.
"So, where's your head at in the game right now?"
"Right now, I just wanna get along with everyone. I don't know if any bonds were made yet, or if people are already in alliances, but I'm just hoping I'm not going slower then the pace of the game." Link said.
"Some people are wanting to play the game quickly while others wanna get to know each other and just enjoy our company before we start getting in drama and stressful situations. I honestly see both sides, but I'll just let you know, I have your back!" Lucina told Link.
"Thank you, I have yours too." Link wrapped the fire wood around his left arm and shook Lucina's hand.
Lucina (Sword Fighter, Millennial) "Link is not a bad guy honestly, he seems like someone I can get along with, so that means I will try and make a move on him. I know I'm working with five other people, but Link is someone I will make sure isn't one of the first few players out of the tribe!" Lucina nodded.
"Hm, it's getting dark out, we have to hurry and bring the fire wood back." Link told Lucina. Lucina nodded.
"Oh, then we are screwed. You really think they have built the shelter that fast?" Lucina said in a worried tone. Link looked at her and then looked at the ground.
"Probably not, but it's probably in condition where it's at least somewhat sleepable." Link told her.
Sonic, Zelda and Yuri were talking about random things as they walked to the water well. Yuri was carrying a map and Zelda and Sonic were holding onto the water canteens.
"So yeah, I just dropped out of high school. I think I'm the first ever survivor player to play without graduating high school!" Sonic informed Zelda and Yuri. They were now at the water well but were now having a discussion about their lives. Zelda and Yuri nodded while they dipped the canteens into the well and put the cap on it.
"Wow, yeah I wouldn't be surprised if you were. How did your parents think of the decision?" Zelda questioned.
"Of course, they weren't happy about my choice, but they handled it pretty well. I'm very happy about that. But for now all I'm doing is just laying down at home and being lazy. It's the life, but I'm probably gonna regret it soon!" Sonic laughed.
Zelda nodded. "Yeah, I don't wanna make decisions for your life, but you should get out there soon! Try and get a job."
Yuri slowly nodded.
"Yeah, I see what you mean, and do not worry, you're fine." Sonic told them. Sonic took some canteens from them and put water inside the canteen as well.
"Have you talked to anyone about the game, yet?" Zelda asked Sonic.
"Not yet, I've just been trying to get to know everyone, I felt it would be better to know the people I'm actually gonna be with the next thirty-nine days rather than just throw myself into an alliance so quickly." Sonic said.
Zelda nodded. "Well, you seem nice, so just know that I have your back. Because I'm sure we are on the outs. I think Fox, Olivia, Samus, and Midoryia have connected. But that's only six vs four, if we get everyone else on the tribe on our side, we have the numbers."
Sonic nodded.
Sonic (Unoccupied, Millennial): So, Zelda is coming up to me saying she thinks there is an alliance between Fox, Samus, Midoryia, and Olivia. She isn't wrong, but she's missing two players. Me and Lucina. Zelda is obviously a smart player, because she was able to find out some of the alliance so quickly. I don't know HOW but she's one step ahead of us. What now? I'm stuck in the swing vote position because I'm now in two alliances. It's a good spot, but too much pressure to be in on day one of a thirty nine day game." Sonic shrugged.
…
The shelter was being built. It was almost in completion but it was almost night. Meta Knight saw this and scoffed. He knew they would've been done if they didn't spend an hour in the water.
"You good?" Link saw Meta Knight's frustration once he came back with the firewood.
"I'll be honest, I'm not too happy with this tribe. Our stress is higher than it should be right now because we procrastinated to build the shelter. We don't even have a fire yet. What took you guys so long?" Meta Knight said trying not to sound too rude.
"Oh, me and Lucina just talked a lot. She said she wanted to work with me. I never mentioned your name because I forgot, but I wouldn't mind having some sort of bond with her!" Link told Meta Knight.
"I don't know if we can trust her. But, I wouldn't mind trying it out for a bit." Meta Knight scoffed.
Link nodded.
...
"Come on Link, you got this!" Samus said from afar watching Link attempt to make a fire. He was rubbing two sticks together over the logs they found.
Link kept rubbing for another minute until one of the sticks broke. In frustration he threw it to the ground and then sat back up to rub the sweat off his forehead.
Link (Archer, Millennials): I don't wanna seem cocky or anything, but this tribe basically needs me. I have a lot of skills when it comes to making fires or building shelters, I think this is a really good trait because it will make the tribe not wanna vote me off! If I make this fire I can definitely prove himself."
Link was giving it another go, and this time, everyone saw a spark. Everyone besides Link, Fox, and Zelda was jumping up and down screaming and cheering. Fox and Zelda were placing tiny shrubs on the fire so it could expand. Link, Fox, and Zelda then joined the celebration. They got fire before it got dark out.
"YES! I did it! I made fire and now we get to sleep a little better tonight. I'm so proud of myself, and I'm sure my tribe is proud of me too."
The tribe was still celebrating as the camera went black.
Gen X Tribe: Day 1
The gen x tribe was getting to work. They were grabbing huge logs, using tools to build the shelter, and chopping wood. It was all business on the gen x tribe.
Ryu (Martial Artist, Gen X): "I love this tribe. Everyone carries their weight, and it seems like we are unified and together! I would be saying these things if it wasn't for Peter…"
While everyone was working, Peter was sitting down drinking his coconut.
"He won't get off his fat ass and help us work around at camp, and it's annoying all of us. We are a team. If someone is doing work, we are ALL doing work. So this isn't a good look for him, not a good look at all." Ryu said to the camera with his arms crossed.
Peter was now laying on the shore watching the birds fly.
Peter (Safety Inspector, Gen X): "I'm saving my energy obviously, working on the first day when I have nine other people to do that? No sir! Not when I can eat, drink and sleep all day! No one has even said a word about it, so it must be okay." Peter nodded.
"I don't like him. Point blank period." Helen Gravley told the rest of the tribe. They were back at camp while Peter was still laying at the shore.
"Me neither. He is making us do all the work and he's just sitting back without a care in the world! That's pretty classless if you ask me." Isabelle said.
Snake shrugged. "Not much we can do about it besides just vote him off if we lose the challenge, we should be happy we can throw away dead weight. It just makes things way more easier for us in the end."
"True, but I just don't like his attitude. I may call him out. It's probably a bad decision, but we can't just go a day without saying a thing to him. What if we never lose? He will just be mooching off of us for the rest of the game! I'm sorry, but it's not worth it." Helen Gravely explained.
"Well, I don't want any drama already. It's day one! Do what you want but please don't make it too crazy." Pac Man begged.
Peter then walked back to camp. He eagerly sat down but noticed the tribe looking frustrated and they were all very quiet.
"Is there a problem?" He asked while pushing his glasses closer to his face.
"Well… Peter, most of the tribe has a problem with your laziness and attitude with working around the camp. I understand it's hard to just get onto an island and automatically get to work, but it's what we signed up to do, and we could really use your help." Professor Oak told him.
"Well, me being one of the oldest on the tribe, I feel I should keep my energy for the first challenge. It's important for us as a tribe to win challenges, so I'm just helping you guys if you think about it!"
Helen Gravley shook her head. "I don't agree. Professor Oak is working his ass off and he is the oldest on the tribe! What makes you any different?"
"Alright, alright. I'm ending this now." Bayonetta stopped the argument, to everyone's surprise.
Bayonetta (Umbra Witch, Gen X): "Trust me, I would have LOVED to watch them duke it out! But, stepping up and stopping a fight will make the tribe see me as a good person, right? Exactly. That's what I want my tribe to think of me." Bayonetta winked at the camera.
A few minutes after the conflict, Isabelle, Helen Gravely, and the Honey Queen all walked into the forest with each other.
"We all have something in common!" Isabelle told the other two. They both nodded.
"Indeed, we all are business women. We either run a town, or a place. Once I heard what you guys did back in our little circle, I knew that I wanted to work with you two." Helen Gravely admitted.
Isabelle (Secretary, Gen X) "Right off the bat, I see a connection with Helen Gravely and the Honey queen. We all are business women and come from a place where we run things! I think we can make a great trio, and I am very excited to make this game go our way!"
"Don't tell anyone, but I am a former mayor. I passed down the mayor title to the new mayor. I'm telling you guys this because I trust you two a lot. I didn't wanna tell the tribe because I'm scared they will see me as a threat!" Isabelle explained
The honey queen smiled. She wasn't surprised at all.
Honey Queen (Queen, Gen X): "I'm not surprised! I could tell right off the bat she meant business, and business only. She came here not to make friends, not to have fun, but to win. And I admire that! Personally, I came here for the experience. But other people came here for the money. But I will keep that on the downlow for now." The honey queen giggled.
"We need an alliance name." The honey queen said.
"A name? Hmm… The busy bees! Pretty basic I know, but it still works! And also, Honey Queen is a bee, soo…." Isabelle shrugged and rubbed the back of her head nervously.
Helen Gravley nodded confidently. "I'm all for it. The busy bees it is."
Helen Gravley (Hotel Owner, Gen X): "What type of name is that? Whatever, it's fine! I'm happy I'm in an alliance honestly. It's a pretty obvious one, but I think we can get the numbers and get that fat slob off of our tribe, it's pretty obvious who I'm referring to, but if you still don't know. Peter."
…
"Bro, this tribe is crazy." Ryu told Snake. They were both walking in the forest carrying logs over their shoulders.
"Yeah, I agree. We are the strongest members on the tribe though. We should definitely team up just for that reason. Of course, if you're fine with that." Snake told him.
"Of course I am! You're the first person I really relate to here. You were in the military right?" Ryu asked.
"Well, yes but no. I'm a part of it, but I'm not really a 'march into war' type of guy. I'm a special operations soldier, so I do more than that, like spy for example. I can get killed any second, and that makes my job super stressful. But someone needs to do it." Snake told Ryu. Ryu nodded and now saw snake as someone he can look up to, even though they were practically the same age.
"Interesting." Ryu nodded.
Snake (Special Operations Soldier, Gen X): "Ryu seems nice. He's willing to learn more about me, and even wants to work with me. We are the strongest players on the tribe along with Bayonetta, so I would definitely like to see where that could go if we try to work with her as well. Pretty good start to my game." Solid snake nodded.
The Gen X tribe was now nearly done with their shelter. Just a few more pieces of wood to place in and it was finished. And they still had a bit of daylight to do one more thing: Build the fire.
"Come on team! We got this!" Pac man clapped his hands for the tribe as Ryu and Bayonetta decided to give it a go at making the fire.
Ryu went first and instead of rubbing two sticks together like the millennials, they grabbed two pieces of bamboo, laid one on the ground, and kept the other one in his hands to rub with. Bayonetta watched Ryu start rubbing the sticks together. Smoke came from it and everyones started to glow.
Professor Oak (Professor, Gen X): "I'm just watching these two try and make the fire and I'm like, 'Please, PLEASE, let us have fire tonight." Professor Oak laughed.
Ryu kept going for another two minutes and then stopped from exhaustion. The tribe all groaned. It wasn't looking good for them. Bayonetta then decided to give it a go. She tried the same thing as Ryu, but this time Ryu was watching Bayonetta. Some players on the tribe crossed their fingers and toes praying that they had fire tonight.
A couple of minutes later, it didn't seem like fire was getting made anytime soon. It was getting dark soon, and the tribe knew it.
Pac man (Ghost Hunter, Gen X): It sucks, because now we don't have fire for the night. And trust me, we would have LOVED to have fire. Especially on our first night. But since we can't make fire, we just have to hope that we win the first immunity challenge, so we get flint from Toad. It just gives us another reason to win, and we will definitely bring our A game once we get to the immunity challenge." Pac Man said sitting on a rock at the shore.
"That sucks guys. I guess we will have to sleep without fire tonight." Ryu shrugged.
"Damn, I'm hungry." Peter shook his head and sat in the shelter. Some of his fellow tribe mates scoffed since he didn't do anything to help the tribe.
Peter (Safety Inspector, Gen X): One thing my wife told me before I left, was NOT to be an idiot! And I listened to her, I think I'm doing a good job so far." Peter nodded confidently at the camera. "The game is just starting and I don't wanna waste my energy, or LOSE energy. That will ruin me in challenges, and we need to be prepared for that!"
Gen X Tribe: Day 2
The next morning on the Gen X tribe, everyone that was on the Gen X tribe woke up pretty early. And they were all discussing how they felt the first night was.
"It was pretty bad. I would be lying if I said I enjoyed it." The honey queen sighed. Isabelle nodded.
"A bug literally went in my ear and it was so creepy. Worst sleeping experience in my LIFE." Isabelle scoffed.
Bayonetta (Umbra Witch, Gen X): The little girls are complaining about the sleeping situation, that's what we came here for. I know I'm stronger than the other girls in my tribe. And I'm sure they know it too. I hope they aren't too intimidated. If I was in a tribe filled with men, It would be very easy, but hey, I can't get everything I want I guess." Bayonetta shrugged and laughed.
A few hours later in the afternoon, everyone was hanging out at camp in a group, and just talking about random things. The tribe was very united and enjoyed each other's company. That's before everyone noticed something different.
"Where's Cackletta?" Helen Gravley asked.
The camera showed Cackletta snooping around in the forest. She was looking for the hidden immunity idol. An advantage that can protect you in the game.
Cackletta (Witch, Gen X): "My tribemates are all laying down and having a good time, so I decided it would be smart if I search for the hidden immunity idol. My goal this season was to indeed find a hidden immunity idol, so I think it's best NOW to look for one while I have the chance!"
Cackletta was looking high and low for the idol, but was unable to find anything.
"I should probably look for her." Bayonetta volunteered. The tallest member of the tribe walked into the forest to look for Cackletta. Everyone on the tribe already assumed Cackletta was idol hunting.
"It just shows what type of player she is." Ryu said.
Cackletta was seen digging in a hole. She quickly took her hand out thinking she found a package but it was just a rock. She frustratingly threw the rock on the ground and looked around. She then noticed the umbra witch walking towards her. She stopped looking in a hurry and grabbed fire wood to pretend she was doing camp chores. She then started to walk towards Bayonetta worrying that she came to look for her since she's been gone for quite a while. Bayonetta noticed this and made a small smile. She saw everything, but decided it would be funny to play along.
"You've been gone for a while. We were all worried sick." Bayonetta said.
"I was just doing tribe chores, you know. Nothing bad." Cackletta lied.
Bayonetta nodded skeptically. "People are pretty sure you're idol hunting. And I wouldn't be surprised if you were.
Cackletta started to say something but shut her mouth.
"Don't worry. Your secret is safe with me. Let's think of some fake story while we walk back to camp."
Cackletta smiled and nodded.
Cackletta (Witch,Gen X) "Bayonetta is the nicest person in this game by far. She caught me looking for the idol and instead of ridiculing me or getting mad at me she decided to help me get out of this mess. You don't find that many people in a game like this. She's obviously someone I can trust moving forward, and I guess we'll see how the relationship goes!"
Millennial Tribe: Day 3
The millennial tribe was getting read for their first immunity challenge of the season.
"So we're all getting ready for our first challenge of the season, and everyone is stoked." Fox said to the camera.
"WHO'S GOING TO WIN?!" Link screamed.
"MILLENNIALS!" The tribe screamed back.
"I DIDN'T HEAR YOU!"
"MILLENNIALS!"
Meta knight however didn't seem to be in the mood.
Meta Knight (Knight, Millennials): If we lose, I could be in big trouble. I haven't been very social with my tribe, so it could blow up on me since first impressions are a thing." Meta Knight kicked a rock and sighed. "We just have to win the first challenge. Then I can start from square one and continue thinking about what I should do to not be an early boot."
…
The Gen X tribe was seen to be taking a calmer approach by doing yoga to get their bodies ready for the challenge.
"Let's put our hearts into this challenge!" Ryu said as he got up from doing yoga stretches.
Isabelle, who was leading the yoga, nodded.
"Hey bro! Put that energy to use in the challenge!" Pac man patted Peter's back.
"I will. Anyone who has doubted me will eat their words!" Peter said, determined.
Helen Gravely rolled her eyes, watching from afar.
Helen Gravley (Hotel Owner, Gen X): "I'm not proud about already being in drama, but damn it. Peter is annoying. If we lose I'm coming after him, I'm sure he will be coming after me too. So I need to prove myself in this immunity challenge."
Immunity Challenge: Day 3
The camera showed the fiji ocean surface, the music was peaceful but it then picked up as the camera sped towards the island where the challenge was.
"Come on in guys!"
The two tribes came in from different directions. Snake was holding the gen X flag, and Link was holding the Millennials tribe flag. They both put it in the ground once all tribe members got to the mat. Everyone looked at Toad eagerly.
"Welcome to your first challenge on Survivor: Millennials Vs Gen X." Toad said, wearing the iconic hat he wore at the finale of last season.
"Woo!" Someone amongst the castaways cheered as everyone else clapped.
"Let me ask a question first, how'd fire making go?"
"We were not able to get any fire made, we tried a couple of times, but we just had no luck." Honey Queen said.
Toad then looked at the Millennials waiting for a response.
"We got fire thanks to this goofball!" Fox said, giving Link a noogie and laughing.
"Congrats!" Toad told the tribe.
Some members of the Gen X tribe shook their heads and rolled their eyes.
"Wanna see what you're playing for?"
Everyone cheered and clapped.
"This is what you want and need in this game…" Toad pulled a blanket from a wooden stool. There was a tiki with two skulls on it, one representing young life and the other representing old. Everyone clapped.
"You're also playing for flint, so the Gen X tribe really needs this."
Some members of the gen x tribe laughed.
"Now, let's get to the challenge! For today's challenge, you're going to make choices that can help you at the start, or end of the challenge. You'll race under an obstacle and then untie a bat. You'll then come to a rope tunnel and climb through it, OR you can use a shortcut making it easier. You'll then come to a balance beam. You must cross it. OR, you can use a shortcut… Obviously making it easier. You'll then carry a crate to the finish and use the pieces inside to solve a puzzle. Here's the catch, everytime you use a shortcut, it adds ten more pieces to the puzzle."
"Yikes." Pac man muttered. Everyone else nodded.
"This challenge will determine who knows the strengths and weaknesses of their tribe. Like I said earlier, winners win immunity. But they also win fire in the form of flint."
Everyone clapped and cheered.
"We need this." Snake whispered to his tribe.
"Losers… Tribal council where someone will be the first person voted out of Survivor Millennials Vs Gen X. I'll give you a few minutes to strategize and we'll get started."
A few minutes later the tribes were at different mats in running stances.
"Alright! Here we go!... For immunity and Fire! Survivors ready…"
The players were ready for their first challenge of the season.
GO!
The two tribes all ran to their different sides of obstacles as fast as they could.
The goal was to get multiple bats by untying them from under the obstacle. Some players instead went straight to the next mat while others stayed behind and worked on untying the bats.
"Millennials are speeding through this obstacle!" Toad announced once they had almost everyone at their mat besides Fox, who was still untying the final bat.
The Gen X tribe however had a couple more bats to untie than the Millennials, they were starting to pick up the pace though and give the Millennials a reason to worry.
"I got it!" Fox yelled as he climbed under the rest of the obstacle and ran towards his tribe as quickly as possible.
"GO MILLENNIALS GO!" Toad yelled once Fox reached the Millennials mat.
"Don't give up!" Isabelle yelled from the Gen X mat. They were still waiting for Helen Gravley to untie the final bat.
The Millennials meanwhile decided to go and take the first shortcut.
"Millennials are taking the first shortcut! Let's see if it was the right decision!"
Samus hit a tiki face and made it break on the first try. with one of the bats her tribe retrieved which meant they were now able to use the shortcut. The tribe then went through the shortcut making the second obstacle easier.
"The Gen X tribe is finally done untying the bats and now are taking the shortcut as well!"
The honey queen took a little longer hitting the tiki, but still got it done.
"GO GEN X GO! MILLENNIALS NOW AT THEY'RE THIRD OBSTACLE!"
The Millennial tribe just finished the second obstacle and now were at the balance beam. They decided not to take the shortcut so they didn't have to add an extra ten pieces to their puzzle.
"Fox is the first done with the beam!"
"Take your time, guys!" He yelled.
Yuri and Sonic finished right behind Fox, the Gen X tribe got to the balance beam, but decided to take a shortcut, putting them in first place.
"Gen X tribe will be taking the shortcut for the balance beam!"
The Gen X tribe opened up another side of the balance beam, making it easy to walk on. They got to the other side in no sweat and went to the puzzle table to pick it up and carry it to the other side. They had no problems with that. They then placed it down and looked at it. There were three options. No shortcuts, fifty pieces. One shortcut, sixty pieces. Two shortcuts, seventy pieces.
"Grab a handful of the seventy pieces option and bring them to the puzzle board!" Ryu commanded.
The Millennial tribe were waiting for their last member, Meta Knight, to get past the balance beam. He kept falling off and his tribe just got more and more frustrated.
The Gen X tribe finally brought all the puzzle pieces to the puzzle board and got to working. The members doing the puzzle for the Gen X tribe were Isabelle and Professor Oak.
"I'm pretty sure this piece goes over here." Professor Oak said to Isabelle, they were working on the puzzle fairly quickly.
Meta Knight was close to finishing the balance beam. He started to lean to the right and immediately panicked. He quickly ran to the end and jumped, barely finishing the balance beam. The tribe quickly ran to grab the puzzle table.
"Go Millenials go! You can move on!" Toad yelled.
"Don't pay attention to them, you're doing great." Honey Queen said amongst the tribe.
The Millennials brought their puzzle table to the other side, but unlike the Gen X tribe, they had to put together a sixty piece puzzle. Yuri and Olivia started to do the puzzle for the Millennials.
"The Gen X tribe is in the lead but it's anybody's game!"
"Put this piece over there, I think I found a pattern." Yuri told Olivia.
"Millennials are making up lots of time! The Gen X tribe has got to speed up!" Toad yelled.
Isabelle rolled her eyes from the puzzle board.
"Come on guys! That's what I'm talking about!" Fox yelled from the Millennial tribes mat.
Yuri and Olivia started placing pieces very quickly as Professor Oak and Isabelle continued to get stuck in multiple places.
"Come on, we only have about ten more to place we're so close." Oak whispered to Olivia, who was starting to sweat because of the heat.
Yuri and Isabelle started to see victory as they only had a few more pieces to place.
3 pieces left...
2 pieces left...
1 piece left...
"WE GOT IT!" Olivia screamed from the puzzle board, and Toad immediately raised his hands up in the hair.
"MILLENNIALS WIN IMMUNITY!"
"LET'S GO!" Fox was the first to run up the two and hug Olivia and Yuri as hard as he could, the others were cheering at the mat jumping up and down.
"An amazing comeback for the Millennials tribe!" Toad said amongst the cheering. The Gen X tribe looked at themselves in disappointment, what went wrong?
The camera zoomed out and zoomed back into where the castaways were at their separate mats, one looking happy, and the other had disappointed faces.
"Millennials, you got it done. Immunity and fire in the form of flint!" Toad grabbed the tiki and held it out to the group of Millennials. "Who wants it?"
"Yuri!" The Millennial tribe said and patted her on the back as she grabbed the immunity away from Toad and smiled at it.
Toad's smile faded away as he looked at the Gen X tribe. "Gen X… You all have a date with me at tribal council where someone will be the first voted off. I'll see you guys at tribal, head on out."
The Gen X tribe started to walk out.
"Wait, before you walk away… There is a twist."
Both of the tribes gasped.
"Yes, a twist. The twist in play is…
EXILE ISLAND!
Some of the castaways gasped in horror while a few grew a smile on their face.
Ryu (Martial Artist, Gen X): "Yes! A place with peace and quiet, and the location of the hidden immunity idol must be there! It is urgent I go there first so no one is able to find it before me." Ryu said with his arms crossed.
"Instead of the losing tribe picking who goes, the WINNING tribe picks who goes to exile island. Which means whoever they pick will skip tribal council and come back the next morning." Toad explained. "Millennials, make your decision now."
The Millennials tribe got in a circle.
"Well… We should pick their weakest player… Shouldn't we?" Samus thought.
"Yeah… Who would slow them down in future challenges…" Fox thought.
"What about the old guy? Oak was his name?" Link asked.
"He probably will stay due to his puzzle skills… Even if they did lose today, it seemed like he was commanding Isabelle at that part." Zelda said.
"Well we have to think of something quick." Sonic told the tribe.
"Have you made your decision?" Toad called out to them.
"Yes. We choose Peter." Meta Knight told Toad.
Peter picked up his bags and stared down Toad.
"Peter, you will be going to exile, the boat will be coming shortly, grab all of your belongings and get on it." Toad nodded at him.
"Got it, chief." Peter saluted to Toad and waved goodbye.
"Bye Peter." Almost everyone said as he walked off.
"NOW, Gen X, decide who you want to send home! Head on out!"
Helen Gravley (Hotel owner, Gen X): "Well damn, there goes my target, things just went easy, too tough. Damn those Millennials."
Gen X Tribe: Day 1
The Gen X tribe walked back into camp feeling the most disappointed they've felt so far this game. Ryu kicked the sand floor as hard as he could. Everyone on the tribe felt the same way, they all sat in a big circle around camp.
"So... Any volunteers on who wants to be voted out?" Pac man joked. No one laughed, he did a small cough.
"I'ma get some fresh air." Snake said walking off.
"This is where the scrambling starts." Bayonetta muttered to her Bayonetta muttered to herself.
Exile Island: Day 3
Peter road on the speed bat to the island. His hair was flowing as he stared at the island with mixed emotions. The boat got closer and closer. When Peter looked up he saw vultures flying in a circle, then he started to get afraid.
Peter (Safety Inspector, Gen X): "So I have to go to this island called exile island and be there for the rest of the night, sounds like a blast to me! It's like I have my own private island ova here! I can just imagine it right now! Also, the immunity idol is here as well! So it's a win-win!"
Peter jumped off the boat and waved off to the driver. Once he got to the island he saw a huge tower with skulls all around it. The tower was made out of blacks rocks with the skulls stuck between them. Peter had a surprised look on his face. He then looked down at his face and saw a writing engraved in the sand,
This way.
The arrow pointed to the tower. Peter gulped and reluctantly walked where the message told him to go. Once he was near the tower, he saw another writing.
Go inside and walk upstairs to find what you desire…
Peter's face went from confused to a smirk. He walked inside the tower, but then looked up and saw a huge flight of stairs. His jaw dropped and he cartoonly picked it back up. He sighed and started climbing the stairs.
"This isn't worth it. I probably lost five pounds just climbing half way through this thing! Good job production, this is the first time I've ever exercised. Be proud.
Once Peter finally got to the top he sighed and looked to his left. He saw a box. He slowly walked towards it, he started to sweat around his forehead, he slowly opened the box…
"Oh my god!"
Gen X tribe: Day 3
"I'm pretty sure the best option is to eliminate a weak member from the tribe. And I'd say the weakest member is Isabelle, she doesn't have anything to bring to the table. She doesn't have strength, and by what we saw in the challenge, her puzzle solving skills aren't the best either." Snake explained to Ryu and Cackletta.
Ryu and Cackletta nodded.
"Yeah, I see that logic. We need this tribe to be strong, so Isabelle is definitely the best vote." Cackletta agreed.
"Agreed, let's do this guys." Ryu nodded.
Isabelle and Honey Queen were talking to each other at camp while doing some of the laundry around camp.
"I'm pretty nervous, I'm the smallest one ere. People are going to underestimate me! I swear, I should have planned this before. I'm so stupid." Isabelle shook her head. Honey Queen sighed and patted her back.
"We have to protect you, obviously. And when I say we, I mean me and Helen Gravley. Us three are an alliance, so you can trust us to not vote you out." The Honey Queen said. She was a little worried though, Isabelle had a valid point. People will see her as a weakness and come after that.
"Yeah… We just need two more people on our side. Any ideas?" Isabelle asked.
"Well, maybe we can get Pac Man on our side, I think maybe he can relate to you, same with Prof Oak. Because if you think about it, if you go home, they're in danger of going next." The Honey Queen explained.
Isabelle nodded.
"Cackletta is weird… She is always walking off and excludes herself, no one can trust her. I think we should come after her." Honey Queen said.
"Good point, I am scared of an idol though." Isabelle sighed.
"I don't think she had one, don't worry. It's only day three."
"True." Isabelle smiled at Honey Queen.
Bayonetta and Ryu were talking at the ocean. They both were laying down staring at the ocean waters.
"Damn, everyone is scrambling right now. I guess we should've expected it, shouldn't we have?" Ryu laughed. Bayonetta smiled.
"Yeah, we should have. I think Isabelle knows she's on the chopping block, so she's campaigning really hard right now. Don't get too comfortable, Ryu. You can never get too comfortable… Before you know it, you're walking down those steps to pre-jury ponderosa. I like you, which is why I will make sure that won't happen anytime through this game. As well as the jury ponderosa." Bayonetta explained.
Ryu nodded. "You're very wise."
"It's a blessing and a curse… But more of a blessing." Bayonetta laughed.
Ryu laughed. "Yeah, I don't know what will happen, but with the absence of Peter, things are a bit weird right now. I wonder how exile island is going for him."
"He's probably not doing well, he's not that sharp, Ryu."
Ryu laughed. "You aren't sharp."
"Ditto."
Ryu (Martial Artist, Gen X): "Bayonetta is really funny, we get along great. I didn't come here for any showmances, man. But she is someone who I would go for a cup of coffee with on a tuesday." He laughed.
…
Cackletta was walking with Pac man through the forest grabbing fruits.
"I'm sure my name has come up plenty of times, I'm sure of it. I think I could potentially go home today and I just can't get that out of my mind… It's been clogging up my mind lately, and I just wanted to know what you were thinking about. Like where is your mindset at?" Cackletta asked. Pac man looked at his feet.
"Please don't tell me I'm a swing vote."
"Depending on where Prof Oak is siding. I haven't talked to him about the vote yet, but just by how he's avoiding me and how he's been only talking to Isabelle lately, I think he isn't." Cackletta sighed.
Pac Man looked at her. "I can't lie to you, I need more time to decide. I'm just being pressured now, and I wasn't really expecting it."
Cackletta nodded. "Alright, toodaloo."
Pac Man (Ghost Hunter, Gen X): "Wow, I'm a swing vote now. What are the odds?! Ugh, this sucks. Whatever I do I'ma make someone pissed off. Yeah… This sucks. It's almost time for tribal council too. So I need to decide quickly."
Professor Oak and Snake haven't talked much, but at this point, snake felt it was vital that he talked to him.
"Hey, what's up?" Oak asked.
"Alright, so I will just cut to the chase, I'm voting Isabelle off."
Oak nodded. "I knew that don;t worry, you made it very obvious!" He laughed.
Snake did a small laugh. His voice could intimidate anybody, especially Oak.
"I've seen you've grown a liking towards Isabelle, so I know this vote would be tough for you, but for the tribe, it's a smarter choice. Cackletta is really good at challenges, Isabelle is only mediocre. We CANNOT lose Cackletta this early."
Oak sighed.
Isabelle met up with Pac Man before tribal council.
"So, this is going to be a close vote. That's all I have to say." Isabelle sighed.
Pac man nodded. "Yeah, I've been approached by both sides, both want me on their side! I feel special but… Not in a good way."
Isabelle laughed. "Yeah, I understand. Being a swing vote on the FIRST vote off isn't an ideal situation, but I just want you to know, if I'm out you're probably next, I think they will vote off all of the weaker players, so you or Prof Oak would be next."
Pac man grew a look on his face. A solid point. But he knows he isn't a weak player, and he knows he can prove himself while at the same time making the tribe stronger.
"I need to go." Pac man walked off.
Isabelle watched him walk off and sigh.
Cackletta (Witch, Gen X): "For a first vote, this is too close. There are two sides already, and they will be determining my life in the game. On day three… I don't trust them with a machete. How am I going to trust them by not writing down 'Cackletta' on a parchment." Cackletta sighed. "This is harder than I thought, maybe the tribal questions can help me get my point across to the tribe. I can be a team leader, I shouldn't be targeted.
Isabelle grabbed her bags.
Isabelle (Secretary, Gen X): "I trust my girls, I just hope that we have enough numbers to stay in the game. I can't get the first boot… Not after leaving everybody in my town." Isabelle shook her head.
Everyone grabbed their bags and looked at the sun going down. It was time for tribal council, and it was time for their trek to it. Everyone was nervous, but this is survivor, and this is what they signed up for.
Tribal Council
The Gen X tribe walked into tribal council one by one. They heard many animal noises that freaked them out. They saw a ramp and walked up it. The ramp had different decorations like skulls on it. The music was spooky and intense at the same time. The camera zoomed into the fire at the tribal council, it then showed the nine castaways at the tribal area waiting for Toad's instructions.
"Behind each of you is a torch. Grab it and dip it in the fire."
Everyone grabbed their own torch and dipped it in the fire all at once. Some of them looked at their torch before placing it in the torch holders behind them.
"This is part of the ritual of tribal council. In this game, fire represents your life. Once your fire is gone. So are you."
Once all the torches were placed, everyone sat in a different seat. Once everyone was in a seat, Toad sat down too.
"So! That was a very close challenge, but you guys weren't able to pull the win. In fact, it was a comeback by the Millennials that gave them the win, on the puzzle."
Professor Oak nodded.
"Oak, you were one of the players doing the puzzle. Do you think it's entirely your fault that your team lost today?"
Professor Oak shrugged. "I admit, it was Isabelle and I's fault. We shouldn't have struggled on the puzzle as much as we should've. Especially with our minds. We should've been done with the puzzle before the young people even got to theirs! But hey, we can't go back now, and we just gotta keep looking at future challenges, and just throw this one in the back of our mind, and hopefully make our team stronger by the end of this tribal council."
"Isabelle, you were also working on the puzzle. Do you agree with what Oak just said?"
"I do agree. But that doesn't mean I'm a weak player. I know my name has been thrown out a couple of times because everyone thinks I'm a weak player. Well I'm not! So get that thought out of your head right now. I know I can help the tribe win challenges, and just because me and Oak were slow on a puzzle, doesn't mean we can't perform well in other challenges. I'm quick and agile and I'm also a natural born team leader. Which is why you should keep me tonight." Isabelle told her tribe.
"Wow! So we're discussing the vote already!" Toad laughed. "Snake, do you feel moved by Isabelle's speech at all?"
"... Listen, I love the girl. Isabelle is very charming and kind to everyone here. But I have to look at this in a game aspect. Isabelle, no offense, is small and not as strong as everyone else here on the tribe. And even though she did move me by her speech, I can't just change my mind now. My mind has been made up."
Cackletta smiled.
"Cackletta, I saw that smile. Are you on the chopping block too?"
"Uh, I'm pretty sure my name will come up a few times, Toad. There's no doubt about that. I don't know why they wanna vote off the strongest girl on the tribe, well… Maybe not the first but the second behind Bayonetta. And by 'they' I mean Helen Gravley, Honey Queen and Isabelle." Cackletta shook her head annoyed.
"It's because you were obviously looking for the hidden immunity idol on the first day. It's not personal, it's just how are we supposed to trust you if you can't control yourself for at least three days?" Helen asked.
"Whatever feisty bitch." Cackletta mumbled.
"How did Peter going to exile impact your tribe?" Toad asked the tribe.
"Oh, he was the first boot for sure." Honey queen said immediately. Everyone laughed.
"He's so lucky he gets to skip this tribal council, Toad. I swear to god he's lazier than a fat kid on a sunny day." Ryu said, which made everyone laugh as well.
"Pac man, describe Ryu in one word."
Pac man stared at Ryu. "Intimidating."
Ryu laughed and shook his head.
"Oak, describe Bayonetta in one word.
"Sweet."
"I appreciate it." Bayonetta looked back and hugged Oak.
"Snake, describe Isabelle in one word."
"Hardworking."
"So it seems like there are no cracks in this tribe!
"Well… Besides Peter and Helen, but we'll deal with that tomorrow." Pac Man said and everyone laughed.
"Helen, does Peter being in exile all alone worry you?"
"I mean, his fat butt only gets up when he needs a coconut for an 8th snack in an hour, I'm sure he won't be able to find an idol in a day." Helen admitted and shrugged. Everyone else nodded.
"It's not that we hate him, it's just his 'skills' he says he has are pretty lackluster to me." Isabelle told Toad.
Toad nodded. "Well, are we ready to vote?"
Everyone nodded at the host.
"Alright, let's start, Bayonetta you're up first."
Bayonetta sat up and walked to the voting booth in style. The voting booth was filled with vines and decorative skulls. She picked up a pen and wrote down a name on the parchment. After Bayonetta went up, Isabelle was up next and wrote a name.
"Sorry, but you aren't that trustworthy, I'm sure you're a great girl." Isabelle kissed the parchment and placed it in the urn.
Next was Pac man, followed by Ryu then Cackletta, who had no trouble writing down Isabelle's name.
"Don't come after me." Cackletta said with a stern look on her face.
After Cackletta, Snake was up, followed by Honey Queen, Oak, and lastly Helen Gravley. After Helen Gravley sat down, Toad nodded his head.
"I'll tally the votes."
Once Toad came back with the votes he stared at the nine castaways.
"If anybody has a hidden immunity idol and would like to play it now, now would be the time to do so."
Everyone looked at each other. No one stood up, which was expected.
"Alright, I'll read the votes…"
"First vote…"
Isabelle
Isabelle gulped.
Cackletta
Cackletta rolled her eyes.
"One vote Isabelle, one vote Cackletta."
Isabelle
Cackletta
"We're tied… Two votes Isabelle, two votes Cackletta."
…
Isabelle
Isabelle swore under her breath.
Cackletta
Cackletta looked annoyed.
"Three votes Cackletta, three votes Isabelle, three votes left."
Isabelle
"Four votes Isabelle three votes Cackletta."
…
Isabelle had her hands on her face while Cackletta glared at Toad reading the next vote.
"First person voted out of Survivor: Millennials vs Gen X…
Isabelle
Isabelle sighed and got up. She couldn't believe she was the first person eliminated, after preparing for so long and being so excited.
The Honey Queen went up to hug Isabelle. Isabelle started to cry once she wrapped her arms around Honey Queen.
"I'll win for you." She whispered in Isabelle's ears.
Isabelle nodded, still crying. She picked up her torch, took it to Toad, and placed it in the torch holder right in front of him.
"Isabelle, the tribe has spoken…"
Snuff
Isabelle watched her torch go out. She then walked out of tribal council wiping her tears away.
"Good game Isabelle." Everyone said as she walked off.
Once Toad got done placing the torch down he looked at the Gen X tribe. "Well, it seems you all dropped dead weight, trimmed the fat, however you say it, you still made your choice, let's see if you improve. Head on out."
The Gen X tribe walked out of tribal council. All wondering what will happen next.
